Jon Bon Jovi’s Rare Comments on Millie Bobby Brown, Jake Bongiovi’s Baby Will Warm Your Heart

Jesse Bongiovi’s heart is like an open highway.

After all, the Hampton Water co-founder—Jon Bon Jovi and wife Dorothea Hurley’s oldest son—announced that he and wife Jesse Light welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Blair Lucy Bongiovi.

“Our sweet girl has arrived, and we couldn’t be happier,” the couple wrote on their Nov. 10 Instagram post, adding a touching photo of their baby girl holding Light’s finger. “Welcome to the world, baby Blair bear.”

Jesse Williams Returning to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 22: All the Details

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Jesse Williams is returning as Jackson Avery in the fourth episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22, airing October 30 on ABC.
  • Jackson’s return follows a teaser showing him receiving a warm welcome at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital and coincides with a complex medical case involving Meredith Grey.
  • Williams, a longtime series regular who left in Season 17, has made several guest appearances since, with his character now living in Boston with April and their daughter.

Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) is back in the building at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on Grey’s Anatomy‘s next episode.

Following the events of Season 22’s third episode, “Between Two Lungs,” a teaser revealed Jesse Williams’ beloved plastics guru alter ego is returning to the halls of the hospital once again.

In the teaser, Jackson walks alongside newly minted chief resident Ben Warren (Jason George) for a warm welcome with what seems to be the entire hospital staff.

Williams will appear in the fourth episode of the season, “Goodbye Horses,” the description for which tells us, “The interns juggle a bizarre trauma, while a complex breast reconstruction forces Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] into a tense partnership.” The episode airs on Thursday, October 30, at 10/9c on ABC.

Jesse Williams, who most recently starred in Prime Video’s new series Hotel Costiera, first joined Grey’s Anatomy early in the series’ sixth season, as one of the merging residents at Mercy West, and became a series regular in Season 7. He remained a key component of the medical drama, with Jackson experiencing love, unthinkable heartbreak, and personal and professional growth, until the actor left the show in Season 17.

He has since returned to the show several times, including in Season 18’s finale, which revealed that he and ex-wife April Kepner (Sarah Drew) had reunited romantically after they decided to move to Boston together for his professional dreams. Williams also appeared as Jackson in Season 19, when his character entertained a visit from Meredith Grey while she was in the city on business. He once again returned to Seattle for the events of the Season 21 premiere to intervene in the ongoing feud between Meredith and his mom, Catherine Fox (Debbie Allen), over the former’s research for a cure to Alzheimer’s disease.

Williams is the second major former Grey’s star to make a cameo on Season 22 so far. Previously, Kelly McCreary reprised her role as Maggie Pierce to help sister-ish Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) deal with the aftermath of the deadly OR wing explosion.

At last check-in, Jackson and April were happily together again, living with their shared daughter, Harriet, in Boston, as Jackson pursued his dreams of running the Catherine Fox Foundation with an eye on an equitable future for the organization. We’ll have to wait and find out whether there have been any major life status changes when next week’s episode airs on Thursday, October 30.

“Lies!” “Truth!” “What’s the difference…?” Scary! Don’t skip this one. Focus Features has unveiled a second trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’ funky new film titled Bugonia, a sort of sci-fi conspiracy thriller set for release at the end of October. The film premiered at the 2025 Venice & Telluride Film Festivals to mostly positive reviews (here’s mine) – many are quoted in this trailer below. This is Yorgos’ next enticing follow-up to Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, re-teaming with Emma and Jesse. Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major pharmaceutical company, convinced that she is really an alien intent on destroying planet Earth. Maybe she actually is? What will happen if they find out? This is a remake of the Korean film titled Save the Green Planet!, which not many people have seen yet. The cast in Bugonia includes Emma Stone as Michelle, CEO of a pharma corporation, plus Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. I’m a fan of this one! It’s not the best of the year, but it’s just the right dose of kooky & shocking & entertaining – as only Yorgos can pull off. Emma Stone phone home. 👽

Here’s the second & final trailer (+ poster) for Yorgos Lanthimos’ sci-fi thriller Bugonia, from YouTube:

Jesse Plemons’ Role in ‘Bugonia’ Is the Talk of Telluride

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

You have to see “Bugonia” to appreciate how far out there Jesse Plemons goes with Teddy, the obsessed conspiracy freak beekeeper who kidnaps Michelle Fuller (Emma Stone), the CEO of Big Pharma company Auxolith, convinced that she is an alien out to destroy the earth. This week, “Bugonia” played Venice and Telluride to upbeat response from critics and audiences. It’s one of two Focus films at Telluride likely to figure in the Oscar race, along with Chloe Zhao’s “Hamnet.” Will Emma Stone and Plemons both go for lead? That is the remaining question.

All Plemons knew to begin with, he said, was what Yorgos Lanthimos told him: The movie was an adaptation of a Korean film (“Save the Green Planet!”) from the early 2000s. Plemons looked up the synopsis. Then he finished “Kinds of Kindness” (2024). Then he read the script. “Are you kidding me?” he said.

'Father Mother Sister Brother'

How did it read that first time? “Like an explosion,” he said. “It was really funny. I laughed so much, I was so moved, all that range of emotions and responses. We didn’t know when we were going to do it. Maybe there was some disbelief, or I hadn’t fully allowed myself to think like I’m actually playing this part.”

Five months later, Plemons read the script again, “knowing that it was real and that it was going to happen, and maybe Yorgos had made some little adjustments at that point, but I had a very different experience reading it. It was a much heavier experience. And also I felt: ‘How am I going to do this?’ I was a little scared.”

He had never been this scared before approaching a role, because “I loved the script so much,” he said, “and I loved the part so much. To try and find my way in and do it justice was intimidating.”

Naturally, Plemons jumped down the rabbit hole of internet conspiracy theories. “It’s infinite,” he said. “Because it’s so timely, and because there are so many Teddies out there in varying degrees, most of them lesser degrees that I was, it was fascinating.”

He was seeking the odd story that “does something to you,” he said, “gets your motor running and gets you excited.”

And the screenwriter Will Tracy (“The Menu”) was also helpful. “I’m always curious how these things happen,” Plemons said, “and where they come from.”

The character Teddy starts with a specific look: Rumpled, filthy long shorts and shirts, straggly greasy long hair, scruffy beard. He’s compassionate about bees, but he’s angry at the local Big Pharma company that put his mother into a coma with an opioid recovery drug. In one scene he admits to having sampled alt-right, alt-lite, and Marxism, without finding his proper niche.

It’s intense to watch Teddy go up against the wily Fuller. He shaves her head so her fellow aliens won’t be able to trace her. He chains her to a bed in the basement. And he has his accomplice cousin (Aidan Delbis) stand guard with a rifle. When she doesn’t give him what he wants, he tortures her.

Charlie Kaufman recommended Naomi Klein’s book “Doppelganger.” “It’s a companion piece, in some ways, to ‘Bugonia,’” Plemons said. “It’s so thorough on this subject. One line is talking about the shadow self, within individuals, within nations, and this line about how the oppressed can become the oppressors resonated with me. He has this deep, deep pain.”

“Doppelganger” helped Plemons to cope with the violence. “Maybe this was a way for me to rationalize it and not judge,” he said, “but I looked at it as the way a child’s rage comes out. There’s a lot about Teddy that’s childlike. Children are magical creatures. I’ve got a four and a seven year old. Everything’s just so raw? He’s kind of brilliant, and he’s kind of dumb, and also kind of childlike; he’s easily duped.”

When he unchains Fuller, thinking that she is the empress alien, they face off in a lengthy dinner scene over spaghetti and meatballs. “The dinner scene was as much fun as you can have as an actor,” he said.

When I ask Plemons about working with the non-pro Delbis, who likes to be called autistic, he chokes up. “Talking about this movie, I get emotional,” he said. “Aidan is the MVP of the movie, his presence, him being a part of the process, and being on set and watching. I was worried in some ways, making sure that this was going to be a positive experience for him. My mother is a teacher, and for a long time she specialized in teaching children with autism and so I’ve always had a special place in my heart. What he did, it’s not easy.”

Plemons and Stone were promoting “Kinds of Kindness” when they were supposed to be rehearsing “Bugonia,” so they didn’t get as much time to play around as usual, just a few days and some fight choreography. “I wish there was more,” said Plemons. “This felt relentless. There was no opportunity to even process the scene that just happened, that took place today, because you have to look at what awful thing is coming. I didn’t know how I was going to do the third act, the endurance of that. The relentlessness probably helped, because I had to focus on what was at hand.”

Next up: In mid-September, Plemons starts the next “Hunger Games” installment, “Sunrise on the Reaping” (2026) opposite Florence Pugh. “There are a lot of parallels with the world that we’re living in now and what we’re all struggling with,” said Plemons, who plays head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee, a role originated by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. That made Plemons hesitate for a moment. He had played Hoffman’s son in “The Master” in his early 20s. “It was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken,” he said, “because I have a few scenes with Hoffman and [Joaquin] Phoenix, but I was there for pretty much the duration of the shoot, and so I just watched.”

At this point, those of us watching Plemons are starting to believe there’s no limit to what he can accomplish.

BuDhaGirl’s Jessica Jesse Is Making Mindfulness Chic With Bangles That Double as Daily Rituals

by jummy84 August 28, 2025

Baubles with significance! When Jessica Jesse launched her jewelry line BuDhaGirl in 2013, she wanted to create more than just arm candy — and there’s a meaningful reason why.

The idea first sparked when the founder returned from a trip to ancient monasteries in Thailand, with wrists stacked in simple gold plastic bracelets.

“I began to wonder if these little bangles could become daily companions for mindfulness and reminders to pause, breathe, and be present. … It wasn’t about long hours of meditation. It was about consistency, intention, and grace,” she tells ET.

Jessica Jesse/Instagram

That thought turned into her cult-favorite All Weather Bangles® — handcrafted by artisans in Thailand — plus, the idea of Mindful Glamour®, a philosophy that embraces beauty and presence equally.

“A woman can be radiant on the outside, while living a deeply contemplative life within,” the creative director explains.

“I’ve never believed the stereotype that depth only comes in granola clothes or austere simplicity. … It is the refusal to choose between beauty and presence.”

The CEO’s own routines reflect that same balance. Each morning begins by reciting a personal mantra, lighting a candle, setting wishes, reading, and sipping a cup of lemon water or tea.

Jessica Jesse/Instagram

From there comes the ritual of adornment.

“I set my intentions as I put on each bangle. … I slip them onto my wrist and pause and breathe. … My first two bangles are always my children, and others may hold gratitude, focus, love, or compassion.”

And Jesse carries that energy into the rest of her day.

“Everything holds the potential to be sacred if we choose to be fully present. … I approach each act with intention whether it’s thanking my car before I drive, or the act of eating, I approach each with intention.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson on Pressure He Felt With ‘Modern Family’ Gay Role

by jummy84 August 25, 2025
written by jummy84

Jesse Tyler Ferguson is getting candid about the “responsibility” he felt to the LGBTQ community to “get it right” with his portrayal of gay lawyer Mitchell Pritchett in Modern Family.

The actor, who played the character for 11 seasons from 2009 to 2020, recently shared on his Dinner’s on Me podcast that he believed there was “no way to please” everyone when it came to his role on the ABC sitcom.

“I was in the trenches fighting for marriage equality, and I felt so lucky to be part of a pop culture touchstone that was also part of that same issue,” Ferguson recalled, before later admitting he also “felt a responsibility from the [LGBTQ] community when I was given a role like the one I had on Modern Family to get it right and to do it with care and precision.”

He added, “It was tricky for me because I had to tune out that noise of a community wanting me to do it correctly and preciously and, you know, my desire to do it with nuance and levels and layers and also poignancy. I just felt like there was no way to please both camps.”

Now, 15 years after first deputing Mitchell on the small screen, Ferguson said he’s finally letting go of the pressure he once felt regarding the role.

“I’m 1756148762 in a place where I’m, as an actor, being given a role where I’m attracted to the messiness of that character,” he said. “I’m attracted to their flaws. Like, that’s what makes it interesting. And, honestly, that’s what makes the audience interested in watching me.”

Ferguson added, “No one wants to see perfect people. No one wants a sitcom or a movie where it’s like everything just happens neatly. And yet, I felt like, you know, at least in the first few seasons of Modern Family, being put on a pedestal in a way as far as like, OK, this is the gay couple that’s on network television on a huge show. They better get this right.”

Modern Family follows three different, but related, families as they face trials and tribulations in their own uniquely comedic ways. As for Ferguson’s character Mitchell in the series, he and his partner Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) raised their adopted daughter Lily (Frances Anderson).

“Thrills don’t pay the bills, boys!” Prime Video has debuted the main official trailer for Hotel Costiera, a part comedy, part thriller crime series starring Jesse Williams set on the fanciest Mediterranean coast in Italy. Ready for release starting in September this fall streaming on Prime Video (you can also enjoy the first teaser from a few months ago). Daniel De Luca, a former Marine, returns to Italy to work as a fixer at a luxury hotel in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Shortly thereafter, the owner’s daughter disappears and De Luca is tasked with finding her. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. The series stars Jesse Williams as Daniel De Luca, Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, & Jean-Hugues Anglade. This series yet again looks like one giant Italy tourism ad, but at least it looks fun with this group doing some hustling and punching to get things done. Worth a look – especially if you adore Italy.

Here’s the main official trailer (+ poster) for Prime Video’s series Hotel Costiera, from PV’s YouTube:

In addition to dealing with the hotel’s wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. Hotel Costiera is a new streaming series created and directed by filmmakers Adam Bernstein (episodes of “Divorce”, “Better Call Saul”, “The Sinner”, “Billions”, “Silo”) & Giacomo Martelli (episodes of “Rosy Abate”, “Blanca”, “Miss Fallaci”). No finalized writers credits are available yet. It’s produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle Group company. Executive produced by Jesse Williams and others. Amazon will debut the Hotel Costiera series streaming on Prime Video starting September 24th, 2025 later this year. Anyone into this? Looks good?
