Jennifer Lopez is unstoppable with her kids by her side.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer brought out her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, for a special red carpet appearance during the New York City premiere of her movie Kiss of the Spider Woman.

For the Oct. 6 outing, Jennifer donned a green, off-the-shoulder, floral dress by Harris Reed with a spider-like structure extending from her waist. Emme also got dressed up for the event, sporting a red velvet suit jacket over a black satin shirt and a pair of black pants. Meanwhile, Max sported a dark, tri-color jacket over a crimson sweater vest and a pair of khaki slacks.

And while the family outing was certainly rare—Emme hasn’t stepped out on the red carpet since March—it had extra meaning for J.Lo, as it topped off their full day out in the Big Apple together. Indeed, Jennifer detailed earlier in the day how she was spending time with Max and Emme ahead of the movie premiere.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Reunite on ‘Kiss of Spider Woman’ Carpet

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck both played a part in the making of the movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, and the exes were both on hand Monday night (Oct. 6) for the film’s New York red-carpet screening, reuniting publicly for the first time since their divorce was final in January.

Lopez stars as Ingrid Luna/Aurora/The Spider Woman, while Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity production company is one of the producers behind the film, which is an adaptation of the 1976 novel of the same name by Argentine author Manuel Puig that also inspired a 1985 movie and a 1993 Broadway musical.

In an interview with Extra on the red carpet, Affleck explained why Artists Equity was eager to help make the film and why Lopez was “born to play” the title role.

“She’s amazing in the movie,” he said. “I just can’t wait for you, the audience, to see the movie. I’m as proud of this movie as any that I’ve ever been involved with. I’m really excited to be here tonight.”

He also praised his ex-wife’s work ethic, saying: “Early on in Jennifer’s involvement in this… she just was going to give it her all and she did. She worked enormously hard. You get to see all of her many gifts. She’s somebody that grew up watching classic musicals.”

When asked about the Oscar buzz surrounding the project since its Sundance Film Festival premiere in January, Affleck wasn’t letting awards season determine whether this movie is a success. “I like to try to develop my own standard for what I really like and think is great, and as such, I’m enormously proud of the movie. I always will be. I love this movie.”

The 56-year-old singer-and-actress is currently promoting her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman and during her downtime, she’s been touring colleges with 17-year-old twins Max and Emme – who she has with ex-husband Marc Anthony – and while she’s sad at the idea of being alone, she is also excited for the “adventure” her offspring have in store.

Speaking on Live with Kelly and Mark, she said: “I mean, it’s crazy. We’re visiting colleges today, between doing this [press] and the premiere, we’re visiting a college today.

“It’s happening — they’re leaving, they’re going, and it’s crazy.

“I’m happy because I feel like, I remember how exciting that time in my life was like, ‘Oh, I’m figuring out what I want to do with my life.’

“And it’s an exciting adventure, I want that for them. But I also think like, ‘Oh! I’m going to be by myself.” “

When co-host Kelly Ripa told Jennifer she was going to love the new stage of her life, the Hustlers actress admitted she has an “inkling” she might enjoy some of it but she’s hopeful her kids will still want to come back to her.

She added: “But also always making a home that they want to come back to, right? That was the goal for me since they were born,” the “On the Floor.

“Whatever this is, whatever we create, the three of us together, it’s going to be something that they always are like, ‘When I go home, it feels good. It smells like home, it tastes like home.’ All of it.’ And I always concentrated on that with them. And I feel like we’ve created that.”

Jennifer noted she was in a “brutal” phase a few years ago with the twins but now they get along in a “really beautiful” way.

She said: “Now they’re 17, they’ll be 18 in February. They’re graduating this June from high school and I feel like, we’re close. We’re a close-knit three now. A lot has happened with us.

“We had to bond together, you know what I mean? That kind of changed things and made it really beautiful for us.”

Jennifer Lopez got emotional while recalling her Super Bowl halftime show in a recent chat. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning on September 28, the singer and actress opened up about performing alongside her daughter Emme. She called it “one of the best moments of my life.” The 56-year-old star was talking about her new film, The Kiss of the Spider-Woman, when the conversation shifted to her music career and activism.

Lopez told interviewer Lee Cowan that she has always wanted to create work that connects with people on a deeper level. “It’s very personal, very close to my heart,” she said of her ties to the queer community, as per a People report.

Cowan asked her whether she ever thought her song Let’s Get Loud would become such a rallying cry within that community. Lopez admitted she did not. “‘Let’s Get Loud’? Yeah, it’s funny. You don’t always realize everything,” she explained.

She went on to recall the behind-the-scenes battle over staging the 2020 halftime show. “When I decided to do the cages at the Super Bowl with all the little girls in it, all the little Latin girls in it, because of what politically was going on at that moment, I didn’t know if they were going to let that fly. And they almost didn’t. But we snuck it in,” she said.

Jennifer Lopez gets emotional

For Lopez, sharing the stage with her then-11-year-old daughter made the night unforgettable. “And singing that with my child there. And them screaming that back to me. ‘Cause I’m going to live my life!’ That was one of the best moments of my life,” she said, tearing up.

“Just to see them there and being so joyful and happy and being exactly who they were. It was beautiful,” she added.

Letting go

The moment clearly still resonates. In August this year, Lopez got choked up again as she dropped Emme off for their first day of senior year. At that time, she posted on her Instagram Stories: “I just dropped off this little coconut to their first day of senior year. Looking back at this photo from a few years ago, it just reminds me that they’ll always be my beautiful baby!”

The Atlas star also shared a summer recap from the Hamptons, where she posed with Emme and vocal coach Stevie Mackey during a car ride.

The gallery included selfies of Lopez in white jeans and a hoodie with the caption, “Le Sunshine.”

The Latin music icon is no stranger to performing on the Super Bowl stage, having made two appearances during her career. During an appearance on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Estefan expressed her excitement over the Puerto Rican singer being announced as the performer for next year’s big NFL game.

“I’m so happy for him … I think it’s great,” she said. “I think we need Latino representation in this particular moment. The Latinos have burned up that show. I have done two of them.”

Estefan first performed in 1992, where she sang hits like “Live for Loving You” and “Get on Your Feet.” Athletes from the 1992 Winter Olympics joined her on the stage at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1999, Estefan returned to the Super Bowl, where she performed alongside Stevie Wonder, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Savion Glover.

During her appearance on the Shepherd’s syndicated talk show, Estefan revealed that Jay-Z (producer of the Super Bowl halftime show) asked her to perform in 2020 alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, but she declined.

“It would have been my third time,” she said. “First of all, they’re already dividing that time and it’s really quick. You’re in and out. And secondly, I was going to have to diet during Christmas. I did not. You know what? It’s their moment … I don’t want to push my luck. The two times went great.”

When Shepherd asked Estefan if she was to be asked by Bad Bunny to perform at next year’s Super Bowl, she said, “Again, it’s his moment. I think he’s killing it this year. for him it’s been phenomenal. I danced the day I saw him when he was singing in Spanish on SNL because that had never happened.”

Estefan suggested Karol G as a guest performer, given her resounding success. The Colombian singer recently performed during the NFL’s first international game of the season in São Paulo.

The 35-year-old actress was questioned about the ongoing conflict in Palestine, where more than 65,000 people have been killed and 160,000 injured by Israeli forces, and said she is “terrified” for the children involved.

Speaking at the San Sebastian Film Festival press conference, she said: “I’m terrified and it’s mortifying. What’s happening is no less than a genocide and it’s unacceptable. I’m terrified for my children, for all of our children.”

According to Deadline, the festival moderator initially attempted to shut down all questions about politics but Jennifer was asked about the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza, two years after Hamas-led attacks killed 1,200 people in Israel on 7 October 2023.

Jennifer – who was at the festival to receive the Donostia award and screen her new movie Die, My Love – was also asked her thoughts on attacks on free speech in the US.

She said: “Our freedom of speech and expression is under attack and I think the world of cinema and using your voice in artistic ways, having festivals like this where we can learn from each other and see we are all connected and matter and deserve empathy and freedom, are important.

“I wish that there was something I could say, something that I could do to fix this extremely complex and disgraceful situation. It breaks my heart. But the reality is, our fear in speaking too much or answering too many of these questions is that my words will just be used to add more fire and rhetoric to something that is in the hands of our elected officials.”

As a very famous Oscar-winning actress, Jennifer Lawrence is known for a great many things, and I’m taking it upon myself to add the best pants collection in NYC to that list. Over the past year or so, we’ve reported on countless pant outfits Lawrence has been photographed wearing on the streets of New York, and they just get cooler and cooler. Her latest look included a plethora of fall 2025 trends, including a plaid shirt tied around the waist, navy blue, mesh shoes, a studded bag, and a sporty pant trend that I predict we’re about to see a lot of: track pants—specifically, red track pants.

So what leads me to say that track pants will be everywhere this fall? For starters, Lawrence’s style is very influential among the fashion crowd, as she’s constantly seen in the latest trends, wearing them in fresh ways that are true to her personal style. Aside from that, the sporty aesthetic has been going strong for the entirety of 2025, with athletic shorts, in particular, being a go-to this summer. Consider track pants the fall extension of that, and given that red continues to be a major color trend, a crimson pair such as Lawrence’s makes perfect sense.

Given this information (and that today is the first official day of fall), perhaps it’s time to add a pair of red track pants to your fall wardrobe. Keep scrolling to do just that.
