Jennifer Lawrence Taps a Katie Holmes-Approved Label

Fforme has found fans in a particular strain of New York cool girl celebrities, like Katie Holmes and Allison Williams, as well as Hannah Einbinder and Alexandra Daddario. The star dress, so far, has been the Mila bias cut sleeve dress from the fall 2025 collection, which Holmes wore in a brilliant shade of strawberry red, and Einbinder in a sumptuous royal blue.

Now in the full flow of the “Die My Love” press tour, Lawrence often leans on her Dior ambassadorship for her red carpet and promotional appearances. But of recent, and in cahoots with her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, Lawrence has cast a wide sartorial net: at the San Sebastian Film Festival in late September, she doubled up on Phoebe Philo, wearing an oversized black T-shirt with a dramatic train and, later, an asymmetrical tobacco melange dress. Then, for the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, she zhuzhed up a vintage black Armani Privé halter dress with her sculptural Glenn Spiro torque necklace. It was only at the 2025 Rome Film Festival that she made her debut in Jonathan Anderson’s Dior womenswear spring 2026 debut: wearing look 56, the actor hit the carpet in a dusty gray-brown pullover with black cuffs and a matching V-neck collar draped over her shoulders, with a gauzy white polka-dot skirt with a black ribbon separating its bubbled tiers.

Whether swathed in The Row, Fforme, or J.W.’s Dior vision, the Jennifer Lawrence book of style stays elegant.

Jennifer Lawrence Ditches Baggy Jeans for Dakota Johnson’s Go-To Skinny Style

When Jennifer Lawrence dabbles in denim, the fit is typically loose and pooling over a pair of sneakers or flip-flops. That was not the case ahead of the New York premiere of Die My Love on November 1.

Before she swooped her bangs to the side and threw on a stunning Dior gown, Lawrence was photographed in Midtown wearing a pair of cigarette jeans that cut just below the ankle joint, showing off her pointed kitten heels. If you don’t think that’s off-brand for Lawrence, let me show you a few of Lawrence’s rare denim moments from the past two years, including her recent tip-toe into the boot-cut jeans trend.

Vogue has even more examples of Lawrence’s go to slouchy jeans and sneaker combo if you’re not convinced. While I was able to find one straight-leg style she wore back in April 2024, even that high-waisted option was paired with yellow Vans. It should also be noted that all of these jeans fall into the mid-wash category.

All this to say, I was not expecting to see Lawrence break out a pair of kitten heels or dark wash cigarette jeans on her way to the red carpet premiere of her new film Die My Love, especially considering she’d be changing right out of her gown and into another after-party dress and heels after that.

But that’s exactly what she did. It seems she was influenced by Hollywood friend Dakota Johnson, who is known to love a slim pair of straight-leg jeans, though the rest of the look certainly screamed Jennifer Lawrence.

The key to making the denim her own, however, came down to Lawrence’s signature eclectic layering choices. She paired her atypical jeans with a long floral embroidered cardigan and short belted calf-hair coat for a rich mix of textures. She finished everything off with a pair of chic black sunglasses.

The perfect mid-point between skinny jeans and more relaxed mom jeans, it’s no wonder the cigarette jeans are having a moment that even the boho girls can’t resist.

Jennifer Lawrence On Not Sharing Her Politics, Talking About Trump

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence has reconsidered sharing her politics on the world stage.

The previously outspoken actress, who recently reflected on finding her past interviews and public persona “annoying,” told the New York Times in a sprawling Q&A that her stance on discussing her political takes have also shifted.

While discussing Paul Thomas Anderson’s epic One Battle After Another, the Die My Love star and executive producer said “it’s a good idea. It’s not a bad idea,” later clarifying she meant the “revolution” depicted in the Leonardo DiCaprio-starring drama.

When asked how the multi-hyphenate feels about speaking out now, she said, “I don’t really know if I should. During the first Trump administration, I felt like I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. But as we’ve learned, election after election, celebrities do not make a difference whatsoever on who people vote for. So then what am I doing? I’m just sharing my opinion on something that’s going to add fuel to a fire that’s ripping the country apart.”

Lawrence also said she wanted to avoid turning audiences off from her work, or projects in general that could educate viewers: “I think I’m in a complicated recalibration because I’m also an artist. I don’t want to start turning people off to films and to art that could change consciousness or change the world because they don’t like my political opinions. I want to protect my craft so that you can still get lost in what I’m doing. And if I can’t say something that’s going to speak to some kind of peace or lowering the temperature or some sort of solution, I don’t want to be a part of the problem. I don’t want to make the problem worse.”

Clarifying if she feels “regret” for how she approached political topics before, the No Hard Feelings star said, “Probably? I regret everything I’ve ever done or said. I’m going to take the zip drives out of all of these cameras when I leave. The second term feels different. Because he said what he was going to do. We knew what he did for four years. He was very clear. And that’s what we chose.”

Lawrence can soon be seen in Lynne Ramsay’s Die My Love, bowing in theaters Nov. 7. Next up, she will star in and produce murder mystery film The Wives for Apple Original Films. Most recently, Deadline exclusively announced she will be partnering with filmmaker Martin Scorsese and reuniting with former co-star DiCaprio on an adaptation of the ghost story novel What Happens at Night, also at Apple.

Jennifer Walton: Daughters Album Review

Jennifer Walton: Daughters Album Review

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

When so much popular music integrates footnotes into the main event, it’s a rare treat to approach such a fully formed record knowing so little about an artist, to discern their creative identity and intentions solely through their work. You do not need to know that Daughters concerns the cancer diagnosis and subsequent passing of Walton’s musician father (Nigel Walton had success in the early ’90s as part of eco-feminist dance group Opus III) to feel undone by her cosmic and mundane evocations of grief. This tactile record, mixed by her friend aya, exists between the disconcerting distraction of dreams and the roughhousing confrontation of reality as life rearranges itself in the anticipation and aftermath of a loss.

Walton’s most distinctive trademark is in how she crushes together intricate, organic instrumentation and synths into pummelling cataclysms. Particularly in the first half of the record, her songs climax in joyful attacks that evoke the sounds of a Dance Dance Revolution machine arranged by a symphony orchestra. “Born Again Backwards” shreds the fabric of a once-known reality as gilded, militaristic percussion gives way to something akin to chiptune blastbeats, taking a beat to catch a breath through what sounds like a wheezy toy harmonica, then shooting off once again, spinning Walton’s voice like a top. “Lambs” contemplates looming apocalypse in a concerted attack that sounds like dozens of players slamming wood on metal, an analog recreation of abusing the midi orchestra stab key. The effect is as gorgeous as it is uneasy: Opener “Sometimes” starts as an elegant vignette of dislocation, perky with plucked strings, then relinquishes the exhaustion of maintaining that poise in a nauseous landslide of artillery drums, bleating synths, and brassy squall.

The landscape of Daughters is majestic in its desolation, marked by rattling barns, clapboard houses, dead animals, glowing motels, gas station perfume, infinite skies. As a writer, Walton keys into unavoidably painful and prosaic moments, like sitting “hunched and sick in the concourse” of a hospital on the purgatorial glimmer of “Saints,” the unceasing blip of monitoring machines woven into the fabric of the song, but she also contrasts the drawing of blood with praying for mercy. She has an instinct for myth, characterizing loss in cars crashed into lakes, hungry fires, the haunting feeling of hearing old English folk songs echoing out of context. On the racing title track, familial estrangement, once earthly (“I always muttered something like: ‘He was never around,’” she sings on “Lambs”), then the permanent schism between the living and the dead, is a map torn in two. You can see her world: Serene, obliterating, awesome, it swoops around you like a blizzard.

Jennifer Lopez Proves ’70s Cuffed Jeans and Brown Boots Is the Best Fall Combo

Jennifer Lopez Proves ’70s Cuffed Jeans and Brown Boots Is the Best Fall Combo

by jummy84 October 29, 2025

Jennifer Lopez never misses an opportunity to show off her great style. The latest example of this? When the triple threat spoke with Howard Stern about her latest movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, which she stars in alongside Diego Luna, Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, and Josefina Scaglione. For the interview, she was spotted wearing a pair of cuffed jeans and brown boots—a very autumnal look with a touch of retro vibes.

Lately, Lopez has been favoring baggy pants with her style—even better if they show off an amazing pair of platform shoes—but her latest look makes a strong case for adding more straight-leg and flare jeans to the rotation. For her appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, she wore an outfit that leaned into the ’70s vibes, which is on trend right now, and included cuffed jeans, aviator sunglasses, a denim top and tie, a tweed blazer, and platform suede boots. You can see the full look here.

Jennifer Lawrence feels ’embarrassed’ by old interviews

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

28 October 2025

Jennifer Lawrence finds her old interviews to be “so embarrassing”.

Jennifer Lawrence has reflected on her personal growth

The Oscar-winning actress admits that she behaved a certain way in interviews as a “defence mechanism” and Jennifer can now understand why she was “rejected” by elements of the public.

She told The New Yorker: “Well, it is, or it was, my genuine personality, but it was also a defence mechanism. And so it was a defence mechanism, to just be, like, ‘I’m not like that! I poop my pants every day!’ … I look at those interviews, and that person is annoying.

“I get why seeing that person everywhere would be annoying. Ariana Grande’s impression of me on SNL was spot-on.”

Jennifer, 35, thinks she was specifically rejected by members of the public because of her “personality”.

She explained: “I felt — I didn’t feel, I was, I think — rejected not for my movies, not for my politics, but for me, for my personality.”

Jennifer was mocked by Ariana during a 2016 sketch on Saturday Night Live.

The char-topping star said during an impression of the actress: “I’m just, like, a snackaholic. I mean, I love Pringles. If no one’s looking, I’ll eat, like, a whole can.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer previously insisted that her appearance has changed because she’s “ageing” – not because of plastic surgery.

The movie star acknowledged that her appearance has changed over recent years, but Jennifer insists she hasn’t gone under the knife.

She told Interview magazine: “I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30 and I’m like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m ageing.’ Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, ‘I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.'”

What’s more, Jennifer highlighted the influence of Hung Vanngo, the acclaimed make-up artist.

She explained: “I also think it’s incredible what make-up can do because I work with Hung, who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery.”

Jennifer Lawrence’s Red-Carpet Sweater Would Look Just as Good With Jeans

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Fall layering is typically a street-style look, but leave it to Jennifer Lawrence to bring it to the red carpet. At the Rome Film Festival, where she attended a screening of her new film Die, My Love, the Oscar winner wore the most daring and unexpected combination of garments we’ve seen on the star in a minute, and we’re really enjoying the playfulness.

Instead of a traditional gown or suit, Lawrence opted for a tiered bubble-hem skirt paired with a faux-slouchy (but actually tailored) sweater, all by Dior. At first glance, the two pieces don’t look like they’d be part of the same outfit. The skirt is feminine, light, fancy, fashion-y; the top is versatile and could be worn in a business setting or out to dinner.

But the top has the same neckline as a ball gown and the same cuffs as a tuxedo. It’s actually rather formal. A black ribbon on the skirt matches the black detailing on the top and the black shoes, tying the outfit together. Is it the most cohesive look? Up to you, but we think Lawrence pulls it off.

Jennifer Lawrence (Finally) Makes Her Jonathan Anderson Dior Red Carpet Debut

Jonathan Anderson’s inaugural Dior womenswear show wasn’t even three full weeks ago, but we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see Jennifer Lawrence hit the carpet in one of his spring 2026 designs.

While Lawrence has been a longtime Dior ambassador, the actor and her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, have cast a wide sartorial net for her Die My Love press tour. At the San Sebastian Film Festival in late September, Lawrence doubled up on Phoebe Philo, wearing an oversized black T-shirt with a dramatic train and, later, an asymmetrical tobacco melange dress. And just a few days ago, for the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, she zhuzhed up a vintage black Armani Privé halter dress with her sculptural Glenn Spiro torque necklace.

Lo, at long last, Lawrence arrived at the 2025 Rome Film Festival dressed in Anderson’s vision of Dior. Wearing look 56, the actor hit the carpet in a dusty gray-brown pullover with black cuffs and a matching V-neck collar draped over her shoulders. Juxtaposing the more casual top, Lawerence wore a gauzy white polka-dot skirt with a black ribbon separating the two bubble tiers.

As for her footwear, Lawrence swapped the white open-toed heel from the runway for one of Anderson’s other shoe offerings. She played up the black details on the top and skirt with a black pointy-toe pump with a 3D feathered appliqué. She kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum, opting for small hoop earrings and a Longines PrimaLuna silver watch.

Jennifer Aniston, Jennette McCurdy’s ‘Very Similar Moms’ Bonded Them

by jummy84 October 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Jennifer Aniston was “immediately intrigued” when she was approached to star in the forthcoming adaptation of Jennette McCurdy’s memoir.

The Morning Show star gushed about her upcoming leading role in the Apple TV+ series I’m Glad My Mom Died, which is inspired by McCurdy’s book about her relationship with her abusive mother, in a Friday interview with People. Going into filming for the project, Aniston admitted that she and the former iCarly actress have a shared experience.

“We have a lot in common,” Aniston told the outlet of her and McCurdy. “We had very similar moms.”

“When it came across my desk as an option, an offer to play this character and work with Jennette and Sharon Horgan and LuckyChap, I was pretty much immediately intrigued and flattered and excited,” Aniston added. “It’s going to be wonderful. It’s going to be pretty great to start shooting it.”

Per the series logline, I’m Glad My Mom Died will chronicle “the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kids’ show, and her narcissistic mom who relishes in her identity as a starlet’s mother.” Aniston will star as the mother.

The Emmy winner has opened up about her difficult relationship with her mother, Nancy Dow, in the past. During a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston said her mom was “very critical of me.”

“She was critical. She was very critical of me. Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn’t. I never was. I honestly still don’t think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine,” she said. “She was also very unforgiving. She would hold grudges that I just found so petty.”

Of McCurdy’s memoir, Aniston praised it as being “so beautifully written.”

“The fact that she’s the young woman that she is, having lived that life, is nothing short of remarkable,” she added of McCurdy, who will serve as a co-showrunner of the Apple TV+ series alongside Ari Katcher. Aside from starring in the project, Aniston will also serve as an executive producer.
