Orry posts partying video showing middle finger after questioning in ₹252 crore drugs case: ‘Jail has Wifi’

Just hours after being questioned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police in connection with a ₹252-crore drugs case, Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, sent out a bold message. He shared a video of himself dancing freely, flipping the middle finger with a caption that read, ‘Just let me live’.

On Wednesday, Orry appeared before investigators on for questioning in the ₹252-crore drugs case.

Orry gives out a message

Late on Wednesday, Orry took to Instagram to share a video which shows the influencer and content creator partying in a vibrant concert setting, illuminated by flashing stage lights in the background.

Orry is dressed in a shimmering, sheer black mesh top and is seen dancing energetically to Aaj Ki Raat song from Don- The Chase Begins Again. At one point, Orry is seen energetically jumping to the beat and making hand gestures. In one moment, he even flips the middle finger to the camera. The text on the video read, “I am a liver” – a line he shouts enthusiastically while throwing his hands in the air in the video.

He posted the video with the caption, “Just let me live”.

Although he didn’t mention the case or his questioning in the video or caption, social media users were quick to connect the dots. “Posting this mid questioning break,” one wrote, with another sharing, “Pov :People be hating on me while im at a party doing this.” “Love how you are always EXTRAAA EXTRAAAA,” one posted.

In fact, Orry also got witty when one social media user asked “how are you posting from jail” in the comment section. He wrote back, “it’s called Wi-Fi”.

Orry appears for questioning

On Wednesday, Orry finally appeared before investigators on for questioning in the ₹252-crore drugs case. Several videos of his outing have emerged on social media. In the clips, Orry was seen getting mobbed by people and paparazzi gathered outside the office, jostling to capture photos and videos.

On Tuesday, actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell in connection with the drugs case. Earlier this month, Orry was summoned for questioning following claims made by alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, who was recently deported from Dubai and has alleged links to the Dawood Ibrahim gang.

According to officers quoted by Hindustan Times, Shaikh said during interrogation that he had organised lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai, allegedly attended by several high-profile figures, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.

Derrick Groves Caught In Atlanta 5 Months After NOLA Jail Escape

by jummy84 October 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Derrick Groves is finally in custody after nearly five months on the run! He was one of 10 male inmates who crawled through a hole behind a toilet and escaped from a Louisiana jail in May. Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair confirmed Groves got caught in Atlanta after an anonymous tip originated in New Orleans. He was the last inmate to be found, per the U.S. Marshals.

More Details About Derrick Groves’ Capture

Sgt. Kate Stegall, a spokesperson for the Louisiana State Police, said police took Derrick Groves into custody in a house after a brief standoff.

Groves, 28, had been convicted of murder and was facing a possible life sentence before the jailbreak. He had the most violent criminal record of the escapees and authorities had offered a $50,000 reward for tips that lead to his recapture.
“He was hiding in a crawl space,” Fair said. “It appears he was the only one in this house and he was hidden pretty well.”
Fair said law enforcement developed a lead on Groves’ whereabouts with support from the anonymous tip program Crimestoppers, and that the information originated out of New Orleans.
No one else was arrested, Fair said. Groves was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals southeast regional fugitive task force and Atlanta Police Department SWAT team, Fair said.
Groves was captured in a neighborhood just west of the sprawling Fort McPherson, a former U.S. Army military base that has been home to Tyler Perry Studios, one of the largest movie production facilities in the nation.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry applauded law enforcement for putting all 10 escapees “back where they belong: BEHIND BARS,” in a post on X.
The other nine escapees had been recaptured within six weeks of breaking out of the New Orleans jail on May 16, and most were found still in Louisiana.
Escapee’s mother reacts to his capture
“I’m all messed up, I’m just trying to talk to him,” Groves’ mother, Stephanie Groves, told The Associated Press. “I’m just seeing it on the internet, I woke up to it on the internet.”
Holding back tears, she said she was concerned for her son’s safety and has wanted him to surrender peacefully. She said she does not know why he went to Atlanta and has not been in contact with him after he escaped. Her family has been followed and surveilled by law enforcement, she said.
“It’s just been a mess,” she said. “I’m just glad it’s over with.”
“Of course he was going to get caught,” she added.
The jailbreak in New Orleans
Groves and the nine other men yanked open a faulty cell door inside the New Orleans jail, squeezed through a hole behind a toilet, scaled a barbed-wire fence and fled into the coverage of darkness. With 10 men on the lam, it was one of the largest jailbreaks in recent U.S. history.
The inmates’ absence wasn’t discovered until a morning headcount, hours after they bolted for freedom. At the scene of the crime, the cell where the men removed a toilet to sneak through a hole, they left a message. On the cell wall they drew an arrow, pointing at the gap they slipped through — above it was a graffitied message: “To Easy LoL.”
City and state officials have pointed to multiple security lapses in the jail, including ineffective cell locks and the assertion that the inmates got out when the lone guard monitoring them went to get food. But authorities remain adamant that the men also had likely had help and that the escape may have been an inside job.
A maintenance worker at the jail was arrested for allegedly helping the incarcerated men escape, by turning off the water to the toilet where a hole was cut behind for the fugitives to sneak out of. The man has denied knowingly aiding them via his lawyer, who says he was just unclogging a toilet. Another former jail employee, identified by authorities as Groves’ girlfriend, is accused of helping coordinate the escape.
Search for the fugitives
Hundreds of law enforcement officers scoured the city for the fugitives and leveraged phone records and hundreds of tips to track some of them down quickly.
At least 16 people, many of them friends and family of the escapees, have been accused of aiding the fugitives before or after the jailbreak and were arrested on felony charges. Court documents allege that those people provided food, cash, transport and shelter.
One fugitive allegedly hid out in a vacant home which his friend had been hired to repaint and was captured in Baton Rouge, more than 80 miles (129 kilometers) from New Orleans. Two others were caught after a high-speed car chase in Walker County, Texas. But most of the fugitives were found inside Orleans Parish city limits.
Antoine Massey, one of the last fugitives to be recaptured, allegedly posted photos and videos on social media while on the run.
Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson, who has largely blamed the breakout on ailing infrastructure at the jail, has faced widespread criticism from state and local officials over her handling of the escape and management of the jail.
Escapees face additional charges
Many of the men were originally in the New Orleans jail, awaiting sentences or trials, for alleged violent crimes including murder. Groves had been convicted of second-degree murder in 2024 for opening fire on a family block party on Mardi Gras day, killing two people and injuring others. He faces life imprisonment without parole.
The nine other men accused of breaking out of the city jail pleaded not guilty to escape charges in July, appearing via video call from the Louisiana State Penitentiary.
“Everyone is entitled to due process. But there’s a video of these detainees running out of the jail in the middle of the night. They were not heading to court hearings,” state Attorney General Liz Murrill said.
Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams hailed the end of the search and said prosecutors “will pursue every available legal avenue” against Groves.
All 10 men are charged with simple escape, which is tacked on top of previous criminal counts that initially landed them in jail, according to Murrill’s office. The escape charge carries a sentence of two to five years in prison.
Groves’ attorney was present for the arraignment but did not enter a plea on his behalf, reported The New Orleans Advocate/The Times-Picayune.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently on trial for sex trafficking-related charges. The record exec and rapper — who also went by the names P. Diddy, Puffy and Puff Daddy over the years of his music career — was indicted in September 2024 after feds commenced an investigation against him. So, how long could he serve time in prison now that he’s been found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy?

Hollywood Life has compiled all the details about Diddy’s possible prison sentence, below.

Did Diddy Get Released From Jail?

No, Diddy was not released from MDC Brooklyn. The judge denied his request for bail, and the music mogul has remained behind bars while awaiting his October 3, 2025, sentencing.

Diddy’s Prison Sentence Details

Diddy will officially be sentenced on October 3, 2025. His trial began on May 12, 2025. Former New York City prosecutor and criminal defense attorney Paul Callan told Us Weekly that a sentence “of 10 to 20 years” was “likely” if Diddy was convicted.

“Given the severity of the charges, a lengthy jail sentence is a virtual certainty if he is convicted,” Callan told the publication in September 2024. “If convicted, he can expect to spend most of his remaining life behind bars. Federal prosecutors generally obtain guilty pleas or convictions after trial in more than 90% of the cases they bring.”

Callan added that prosecutors “presented a strong case to both federal judges that Combs was likely to flee and/or threaten witnesses in the case if released.”

“In such cases, the federal courts will sustain pretrial incarceration,” he added. “The lower court decision can be appealed but I believe a reversal of the lower court order is unlikely.”

Why Was Diddy in Jail?

Diddy is behind bars at MDC Brooklyn because he was indicted for multiple charges related to racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Combs was accused of running a “criminal enterprise” to “facilitate his abuse and exploitation of women” from 2008 to the present. Furthermore, Diddy allegedly “committed crimes including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges.

How Long Is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Jail Sentence?

After being found guilty of transportation for prostitution and not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, Diddy’s prison sentence was not immediately determined, but prosecutors are reportedly hoping he gets at least 11 years behind bars.

Diddy’s sentencing is in the judge’s hands, who could issue the disgraced rapper consecutive sentences for each guilty count, according to Fox5. He could serve a sentence between 10 to 20 years.

When Is Diddy’s Sentencing Hearing?

The judge proposed a sentencing hearing for October 3, 2025, and noted that Combs would be credited for 10 months time served so far, according to CBS News.

What Did They Find in Diddy’s House Raids?

Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles properties were raided by Homeland Security in mid-2024. Feds seized various items in both homes, including “Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”

Young Thug Explains Why He Can’t Be Around Gunna After Jail

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Young Thug and Gunna have remained distanced since both reached plea deals in the YSL RICO case. Thug joined the It’s Up There Podcast on Monday (Sept. 29), where he explained why he can’t have Gunna around him anymore, while he wishes him the best in his career.

See latest videos, charts and news

“I’m not gonna be able to look at [Gunna] the same no matter what,” he said. “We can go get a trillion dollars together. I’m not gonna be able to look at you the way I looked at you before we went to jail. I love you to death. I know you love me. We love each other to death, but we just going our own ways.”

Thug continued: “I ain’t gonna be able to look at you the same, I’d feel like a fake n—a just having you around me because… I already look at you a certain type of way. And I got a right to. For the sake of your heart and your mind and the thought process you having now, go get your money, man, take care of your family and do what you need to do.”

Gunna reached an Alford plea in December 2022 to secure his release from jail, which saw him admit that YSL is a gang.

Thugger remained behind bars until reaching a plea deal in October 2024, and he hasn’t been in contact with his YSL protégé since coming home.

“It ain’t even no sense for you to try to be back cool with me because we gonna be around each other and it’s gonna be weird,” he said. “The dap-up gonna be different, everythin gon’ be different because I already look at it like a different situation. People think I’m bitter because I don’t want to be friends.”

Thug added: “I’ma be sitting around you and I’ma just cry. I’ma feel a certain type of way sitting around you because I know how I felt about you. I know what I did with you and for you. You know all the times we shared. We done cried together before… I’ma be around you in the future and be crying every God damn day… I’m over it.”

In the future, if Thug and Gunna happen to be in the same place, fans shouldn’t expect any sort of friendly embrace between the former collaborators, but there won’t be any disrespect either.

“If I be around [you] and be happy and pretend, I’mma just feel like a f— n—a,” he said. “I’mma feel like not a real person. I gotta be real, bruh.”

There’s no hard feelings for Thug with Gunna or anyone else who was arrested as part of the YSL RICO trial. “I still want you to eat, just not at my table,” Thug continued.

Young Thug explained how he never looked at his relationship with Gunna as a business deal since he was signed to YSL. “The only reason why I’m looking at it like some bullsh– is because you my brother,” he said. “On top of that, you my man, you my best friend.”

He took Gunna’s Alford plea as a betrayal and as if Gunna was putting his career ahead of their relationship outside of business.

Thug returned to the music scene with his UY SCUTI album on Friday (Sept. 26), which features assists from Future, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Mariah the Scientist, T.I., Ken Carson, Sexyy Red, Lil Baby and former foe YFN Lucci.

Listen to the full Thugger interview below. Talk about Gunna starts around the 19-minute mark.

Wife of Weezer Bassist Avoids Jail Time After Shooting at LAPD Officers

by jummy84 September 26, 2025
written by jummy84

A judge has granted a mental health diversion to Jillian Lauren, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, allowing her to avoid jail time after she fired a gun at LAPD officers.

Lauren was charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing a gun at police who were pursuing three suspects in a hit-and-run chase in April 2025. Although she was not connected to the incident, she opened fire on officers when they entered her property during the manhunt. Body camera footage captured officers repeatedly ordering Lauren to drop her weapon; when she racked her gun, they returned fire and wounded her.

According to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. County Superior Court Judge Susan J. DeWitt granted Lauren’s mental health diversion under the condition that she must not own firearms, avoid the use of drugs and alcohol, and attend therapy. If she successfully complies with the terms for two years, the charges against her will be dismissed.

Lauren and Shriner have been married since 2005 and have two adopted sons together. She has penned two New York Times best-selling books, including Some Girls: My Life in a Harem, an autobiographical account of her experiences as a former call girl for the Prince of Brunei.

Members of Pussy Riot sentenced to jail in Russia for anti-war performances

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Five members of Pussy Riot have been sentenced in absentia to prison in Russia on charges relating to anti-war performances that critiqued the country’s military actions.

  • Read More: Who are Pussy Riot? A guide to the Russian activist group who crashed the World Cup Final

Reports from Mediazona – the outlet co-founded by band members in the feminist punk collective – which Rolling Stone later corroborated, revealed the members sentenced included Maria Alyokhina, Diana Burkot, Taso Pletner, Olga Borisova, and Alina Petrova.

The jail terms handed down at Moscow’s Basmanny District Court ranged from eight to 13 years, with the charges stemming from a December 2022 music video titled ‘Mama, Don’t Watch TV’, which authorities alleged spread “false information” about the Russian military killing Ukrainian civilians, as well as a later performance held in April 2024. Pussy Riot were in Munich, Germany, at that time, and one member had reportedly urinated on a portrait of Vladimir Putin.

Through the band’s legal representatives, the five Pussy Riot members rejected the charges, claiming the trial and sentences are politically motivated in a statement given to Rolling Stone.

Burkot said that as the writer behind the music heard in ‘Mama, Don’t Watch TV’, she stood “by every single word, and my anti-war stance is clear.”

“The full-scale war against Ukraine has been going on for more than three years. And I continue to believe: Ukraine must win, and Putin must face trial in The Hague,” Burkot added. “The Russian government is a textbook example of patriarchy — the worst kind of abuser: a tyrant, a narcissist, a gaslighter, a toxic manipulator who lives off the destruction of others’ will.”

She  then urged “every person in this world to use their voice,” and went on to say that collective activism was the only way to “resist and overcome the crisis of democracy”.

Burkot said that thankfully, the Russian government has “no access to my physical body,” but that “even if I were in Russia, I would say the same thing: go fuck yourself.”

Pussy Riot first gained notoriety for their 2012 protest piece, ‘A Punk Prayer’, which was a response to accusations of electoral fraud and rigging in Putin’s re-election. The protest resulted in the imprisonment of members Alyokhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova, though they were released early in light of an amnesty bill passed shortly before Russia hosted the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Since then, members of the collective have staged multiple protests, including a performance at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, a pitch invasion during the 2018 World Cup Finals, and at the Indiana State Capitol, in response to the US Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in June 2022. The same year, Tolokonnikova released the debut Pussy Riot mixtape ‘Matriarchy Now’.

In 2023, the Pussy Riot collective were awarded with the Woody Guthrie Prize. Tolokonnikova has also teamed up with various artists over the last few years, including a single with Avenged Sevenfold, a collaboration with Nova Twins, and a whole mixtape executive produced by Tove Lo, which featured guest spots from Salem Ilese, Big Freedia, Hudson Mohawke and iLoveMakonnen.

A scripted television series about Pussy Riot was also announced in 2023 by Nadya Tolokonnikova, who expressed her ambition with the show to “inspire a new generation of rebels”.

Young Thug has shared a multi-post lyrical apology to his loved ones and fellow rappers who may have been hurt by the flurry of leaked phone calls from jail.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the rapper expressed regret to those he offended, beginning with Mariah The Scientist.

“Baby, I’m sorry. One of my biggest fears is losing you to the internet,” he wrote. “F**k a jail call. I was playing. I’ll never leave you.”

He later extended an olive branch to Drake, whom he was also heard criticizing in one of the recordings over his handling of Metro Boomin following the death of Metro’s mother.

“Drizzy, you my brother. You know I ain’t going against you,” Thug wrote.

He then addressed Lil Baby directly in another post, pleading for communication.

“Wham pick up the phone, talk to me it’s Spider. Taught you everything you know about this s**t. We lifers.”

Future was also mentioned. Thug previously called him out for not organizing a “FreeYoungThug” concert while he was behind bars.

“We foundation of men, we learned that s**t from Pluto,” he wrote. “It’s all love and respect on my end.”

Sheesh! Boosie Pops Off After Kodak Black Slams His Silence On Young Thug's Leaked Jail Calls (VIDEO)

Boosie, Kodak Black Share Words Over Young Thug Jail Calls

by jummy84 September 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Boosie isn’t holding back on Kodak Black, and the war of words is about Young Thug! The internet has been yapping about leaked audio of Thugger’s jail calls for the last two weeks. Several celebrity names, including Gunna and GloRilla, have come up on the call. Still, not all of them have clapped back. Also, supporters who were vocal during Young Thug’s detainment and trial have seemingly gone silent. So, when Kodak Black put Boosie in that category, the Baton Rouge rapper sounded off!

RELATED: Rajel Nelson Reveals The Job She Worked When She First Met Her Fiancé Boosie (VIDEO)

Kodak Black Calls Out “Spokesperson” Boosie

As mentioned, Boosie was set off by a social media comment Kodak Black shared about him and Thugger. It’s unclear where the Florida rapper shared his thoughts, but it appears to be an Instagram comment. Live Bitez shared a screenshot on September 10.

“Where The Hell Boosie @??? FAM Was Just The Spokesperson For This Sh*t NOW AIN’T GOT NUN TO SAY. These N****s Bullsh*t,” Kodak Black wrote.

While it might come off a lil’ shady, Kodak isn’t wrong about how hard Boosie went behind Young Thug. He was especially set off when Gunna accepted a plea deal in December 2022, leading to his early exit from the YSL RICO case. At the time, Boosie tweeted that the ‘Wunna’ artist was a “rat” and that the situation brought tears to his eyes and felt like a brother betrayal.

Baton Rouge Rapper Goes IN On Kodak

After Boosie peeped what Kodak Black had to say, he slid on X (formerly Twitter) with a harsh response and warning on Wednesday (September 10). He tweeted that he’ll speak “when it’s time” and called it “business.”

“I GET A BAG to speak on these situations. N believe me somebody coming with it 😃 N you wrong I shouldn’t have energy at all for this sh*t with what I’m going through.”

Boosie didn’t specify who he expects will pay him for his thoughts. However, fans have already said they smell a VladTV interview on the way. And the “sh*t” Boosie has going on? Well, that’s likely a reference to his resurfaced legal issues. Last month, he accepted a plea deal in his federal gun possession case more than two years after prosecutors first charged him. After a brief dismissal in 2024, the government refiled his charges. His last hearing was scheduled for August 26, per Billboard. He’s reportedly been out of jail on a $100,000 bond.

That said, Boosie also suggested Kodak Black is still holding on to his July 2023 remarks about his collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine. At the time, the Louisiana star said the Florida artist had no principles or morals. Also, he threw dirt on his street cred. On Wednesday, Boosie mentioned that while also blasting Kodak Black for his drug use.

“N u must be still mad bout my remarks about you. Let’s that sh*t go n admit you regret it now 💯 Your career been down hill ever since.U f**king over your legacy. You go be known as a drug attic before before your talents‼️on top of that u checked Pc my n*gga COME ON MANE u walked to the left when u got off the bus. The whole FED system will tell you this. I don’t wanna go back-and-forth with you. Get off the drugs and go get you some helping u f**king the wrong one n*gga ‼️#unotoneofus #uaintlikethat”

After tweeting about Kodak, Boosie doubled down on his remarks in an Instagram video. He said, in part: “I shouldn’t even have no energy for that sh*t.”  See what else he said about why he’s holding back from speaking about Young Thug’s situation.

Mariah The Scientist Tells Thugger Kodak Tried To Shoot His Shot In New Leaked Call

Speaking of Kodak and Young Thug! A new leaked jail call exposed the Florida rapper’s interest in Thugger’s boo, Mariah the Scientist. In the audio, reposted by Live Bitez, she’s heard telling Young Thug about the DM Black sent. Amid conversation surround what Atlanta rapper Young Thug has said on a number of leaked jail calls, the words of his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, are now under the spotlight, as she shared with her jailed beau at the time that rapper Kodak Black began hitting on her when Thugger was arrested on RICO charges in 2022.

The leaked audio finds the “Burning Blue” songstress sharing with her man that she feels the need to tell him “everything,” and goes on to read a message from a rapper who slid into her DMs. While the message starts off with well wishes for Young Thug, the sender then pivots into suggesting she should consider seeing him while the Business Is Business artist is locked up.

“But in the meantime, shawty, I’ve been f**ked up about you, and I just can’t put that to rest,” the man wrote. “I’d love to come to some kind of terms with you, bae. You know it’s queen treatment only.”

She then tells Young Thug her response, saying she told the sender, “I got a man and I ain’t going against what I got.” After asking him to guess who sent the DM, Thugger responds, “I don’t like guessing,” leading her to name Kodak Black. Listen to the leaked call below.

While this call revealed the “IDGAF” singer’s loyalty, previous leaked calls from Young Thug have shown just the opposite, as he admitted to cheating on the songstress at least two times on recorded audio. This includes admitting to sleeping with another woman the day before his RICO arrest, and a confession that he had sex with a corrections officer while behind bars. Listen to that audio below.

Young Thug issued an apology after the call leaked via X, writing, “My baby I was wrong and I’m sorry for what I put u through. U deserved better from me. Thank you for everything and I will do anything to make this work. U showed me what love is and I hope I haven’t lost u forever… everybody leave her out of this please she’s an innocent girl and feels bad about all of this. Please give her peace.”

Previously leaked jail calls also include the “Money On Money” rapper disparaging GloRilla, Future, Drake, Gunna, and others, as well as admitting to buying fake streams. In addition to Mariah, Young Thug also issued an apology to his peers.

“To everyone involved in this situation, I’m sorry this is happening, and I hope u guys can forgive me,” he wrote. “I’m moving forward with my life -THANK U GOD.”
