Sombr announces last minute, intimate London KOKO show

Sombr has announced details of a last minute, intimate gig at London’s KOKO.

The new show will take place later this week, and comes fresh off the singer-songwriter making his debut performance on Saturday Night Live, and securing Grammy Award nomination in the coveted Best New Artist category.

Set to take place at KOKO in Camden, the gig will be a one-off show, held on Friday (November 21).

It comes as a warm-up to the UK and European tour dates Sombre has planned for 2026, which will see him play in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy and more throughout February and March, before heading back to the UK for shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham and more.

Tickets to the one-off intimate gig in London later this week will be available from 10am GMT on Wednesday (November 19). Visit here to buy tickets.

Actor Priyanka Chopra and singer husband Nick Jonas had a cozy and intimate Diwali with family and close friends in New York. The couple celebrated the festive season along with daughter Malti Marie, the occasion with traditional customs and moments of love.

On Wednesday, Priyanka took to Instagram to share glimpses of their celebration through a series of candid photos. “A little bit of this and so much of that ????. This Diwali was full of heart and love,” she captioned the post. She also expressed the joy of introducing the festival to those unfamiliar with it, including Malti’s friends, calling it the highlight of this year’s celebration.

The first photograph had Priyanka looking stunning in a red outfit, affectionately hugged by Nick, who was dressed in stylish white ethnic wear. There were more pictures of sweet moments with Malti wearing a white frock, playing with a small handbag and painting diyas with her mother.

Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra, also came to join the festivities, and one very poignant moment caught Malti taking part in the family’s Lakshmi puja — complete with toy idols of her own placed alongside the real idols. The post wrapped up with a cute mirror selfie of Priyanka on a staircase as Nick approached behind her.

Earlier, Priyanka had also posted videos of Malti having a Diwali celebration and flaunting her temporary tattoo, spreading festive vibes on the internet.

On the work side, Priyanka is leading The Bluff as a 19th-century Caribbean pirate. She’s also shooting Citadel season two and working with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu on SSMB 29. Most recently, she was in Heads of State with Idris Elba and John Cena, now available to stream on Prime Video.

In a recent chat show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, a moment of shock left Janhvi Kapoor visibly stunned. While playing “Truth or Lie,” the talk turned scandalous when Janhvi dared Karan Johar to share a shocking secret.

“Say one scandalous truth about yourself and fabricate one falsehood. We’ll try to figure out which one is true,” she told him. Karan, never one for subtlety and a master of drama, came back with, “I lost my virginity at the age of 26, and I’ve had an intimate relationship with someone from your family.”

The strong declaration created shockwaves on the set. While Janhvi seemed visibly taken aback, Kajol and Twinkle erupted into fitful laughter. Soon after, Karan explained the reality behind the claims. “I was late to that party — I did lose my virginity at 26. But no, I have never been intimate with anyone from your family, though the idea may have crossed my mind once or twice,” he made light of, dispelling the tension.

Janhvi Kapoor has enjoyed a long association with Karan Johar and his Dharma Productions. She entered Bollywood in 2018 with Johar’s banner-backed romantic drama Dhadak. The movie was a box office hit and starred Ishaan Khatter alongside her.

Janhvi has been busy with various Dharma productions such as Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl since then, and appeared in a cameo for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Their latest joint venture, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, shows them working closely with each other once again.

Janhvi was also a part of Homebound, a Karan Johar production by Neeraj Ghaywan. The movie had its world premiere at Cannes 2025 and was shown at TIFF and IFFM. It has been chosen as India’s official entry for the 2026 Oscars in the Best International Feature Film category.

In 2022, Zaira weighed in on the hijab controversy that made national headlines. She stated that the belief that the hijab is merely a “choice” is often rooted in misinformation. In a heartfelt statement, she wrote, “The inherited notion that hijab is a choice is based on misinformation. It’s often the result of convenience or ignorance. In Islam, hijab is not a choice, but an obligation. A woman who wears hijab is fulfilling a God-given duty to the one she loves and is devoted to.”

She also condemned the systemic pressure put on Muslim women to choose between education and religious practice and said, “Promoting this idea that Muslim women must choose between education and hijab is unjust. Forcing them into a dilemma and then criticizing them for the outcome is a form of prejudice disguised as empowerment.” Her statement resonated with many, particularly young Muslim women navigating their identities in modern society.

Hardik turned 32 on Saturday and gave fans a glimpse of his birthday celebrations through Instagram Stories. The cricketer’s day was filled with romantic moments spent with his girlfriend, Mahieka.

The first slide featured a chocolate cake adorned with ‘Happy Birthday’ message”, followed by a photo of Hardik himself in the second slide. The third slide offered a peek at a surprise planned for him, while the fourth showcased a birthday message on the floor, showing the feet of Hardik and Mahieka. The final slide captured a serene moment of Hardik and Mahieka enjoying a long walk together by the beach. He added the song ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ as the background music.

Earlier this week, Hardik confirmed his relationship with Mahieka just a few weeks after the romance buzz. They were also spotted together at the Mumbai airport. Later, the Indian all-rounder posted a series of Instagram stories featuring the 24-year-old model.

In one of the stories, Hardik was seen posing with Mahieka on a beach during the birthday getaway. Another shows a black-and-white photograph from the same trip, giving followers a peek into what looks like a new, happy chapter in his life. He also shared photos in which he was surrounded by his family — his son Agastya, mother and grandmother — along with a glimpse of a birthday cake.

Earlier this year, Hardik was rumoured to be dating UK singer Jasmin Walia. She was spotted in the stadium when Hardik was playing. She was once seen stepping onto the Mumbai Indians (MI) team bus following their IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Mumbai. They didn’t confirm or deny their relationship at that time. Later, it was reported that they have split, and unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Hardik and Natasha, who got married in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, confirmed their split in July last year after months of speculation. In a statement, the cricketer said, “After four years together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest of both of us. This was a tough decision to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we shared as we built a family together.”

According to reports, Katrina is in her third trimester, with the due date between October 15 and October 30, 2025. As reported by Pinkvilla, the gathering will be a low-key affair that will be attended by just close friends and relatives.

Celebrity chef Shilarna Vaze (Gaia Gourmet) is said to be taking care of the catering for the event. She gave a clue to the same by posting an Instagram story writing, “Guess whose baby shower @gaiagourmet.in is catering today,” fueling speculation that she’s collaborating with the Kaif-Kaushal family for the event.
