Intake Photo After Transfer To Fort Dix Prison Goes Viral

It’s been more than a year since Diddy walked free. Back then, in September 2024, he had not a strand of grey hair to show. After more than a year behind bars, that’s no longer the case. Unable to use hair dye in lock-up, Sean Combs is now rocking that “silver fox” look! We’ve known about the appearance switch-up since trial and sentencing, thanks to sketch artists replacing cameras banned from the courtroom. Now, the first close-up photo of Diddy has finally appeared on the internet following his transfer to Fort Dix Correctional Institute. As expected, social media users aren’t sparing their thoughts!

Where Did The Latest Diddy Photo Come From?

CBS News shared the viral visual of Diddy on Monday (November 11) after publishing an article about his life inside Fort Dix. Combs ended up in the New Jersey prison after spending about 14 months at the Metro Detention Center in Brooklyn. His lawyers advocated for him to be moved to Fort Dix, a low-security male prison, so he could participate in its drug treatment and other rehab programs.

In July, a jury convicted the Bad Boy Records founder of flying his girlfriends and male sex workers around the country to engage in drug-fueled sexual encounters. However, he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have imprisoned him for life. His legal team is still fighting to appeal the decision, and the 50-month sentence he got in October. For now, he’s scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028.

The new photo of Sean Combs shows him posing for a mugshot in what seems like a dimly lit area. He’s not smiling as he stands in front of a height chart. Large patches of silver hair can be seen on the sides and top of his head. Meanwhile, his beard is almost completely white.

While this is the first close and full look at Sean Combs, TMZ teased his new appearance a little over a week ago. The outlet dropped the first photo of Diddy since his lock-up. Someone had  photographed Combs through bars at Fort Dix while the former producer was seemingly outside. The visual only shows his grey beard, as his hair was covered by a brightly-colored beanie.

How Is Life Behind Bars For Sean Combs?

In a letter to the judge before Diddy was sentenced, he said he has gone through a “spiritual reset” in jail. Additionally, he claimed was “committed to the journey of remaining a drug free, non-violent and peaceful person.” Well, now that he’s in Fort Dix it seems like he’s attempting to follow through on his word. According to CBS News, he’s working in prison chapel as the chaplain’s assistant. His job includes maintaining its library, record-keeping and cleaning up its office. Additionally, he’s enrolled in the intensive drug treatment program.

But not all is well. CBS confirmed circulating reports from last week that claimed he got in trouble for an unauthorized phone call. That allegedly happened days after arriving at the New Jersey prison on October 30. It is said he made a call to a woman who later added a man, which is against the prison’s rules about three-way calls. Combs reportedly claims the chat was with his legal team. Prison officials recommended that Diddy lose 90 days of commissary and phone privileges. They made the request on his 56th birthday on November 4, but it’s unclear if the disciplinary recommendation got accepted.

Social Media Sounds OFF Over Diddy’s New Look

After The Shade Room reposted Diddy’s intake photo, over 5,000 roommates weighed in on the new look and inappropriate jokes about the prison name. Fans (and critics) across other social platforms, such as X, also dropped their thoughts.

IG Roomie @tattoomanpaige wrote, “That’s P Grandiddy.”

@tiyatoday offered another POV, reflection. She wrote, “The lesson from this for me is— Everything hidden will get reveal and pride comes before the fall. Stay humble. Win without ego.”

@italianprada wrote, “Damn he aged 75 years,” and @its.zay.trell commented, “Diddy looking like Roc Daddy on the TV show Roc.”

@l_ouisiana_king said, “Fort ‘Dix’ is crazy.”

Meanwhile, @hisambisimone gave the music mogul props, writing, “He still looks good. Just got grey hair like half these men his age got under that dye 🤷🏾‍♀️.”

@e_lovesyou had the same energy, commenting: “He looks good considering. Keep your head up and shall soon be over. Blessings to you.”

Doctor reveals regular plant protein intake can lower blood pressure naturally; shares 6 dietary changes for high BP

High blood pressure is one of the most common cardiovascular concerns in the country – often fuelled by poor dietary choices, high salt intake, and sedentary lifestyles. While medication is sometimes necessary, many cases can be managed through simple, sustainable changes in daily habits. Small shifts in diet, such as incorporating heart-healthy foods and reducing processed ingredients, can help lower blood pressure naturally and support long-term cardiovascular health.

Dr Kunal Sood, an anaesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician, shares six simple dietary habits that can naturally lower blood pressure and boost heart health.

In an Instagram video posted on October 9, the physician notes, “Each of these foods or habits supports vascular health in a different way. Together, they form a strong foundation for non-drug blood pressure control.”

Limit salt

According to Dr Sood, excess sodium makes the body retain more water, which raises blood volume and arterial pressure. He explains, “Lowering sodium can reduce systolic BP by six to seven mmHg on average. Aim for less than or equal to 2,300 mg per day (approximately one teaspoon of salt), or 1,500 mg per day if hypertensive. Use fresh foods and herbs instead of packaged salt mixes.”

Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines play a vital role in supporting heart and overall cardiovascular health. Dr Sood highlights, “EPA and DHA from fish improve endothelial function and reduce vascular resistance. A two to three gram daily intake can lower systolic BP by approximately two to three mmHg.”

Legumes and plant proteins

According to the physician, plant proteins from legumes like beans, lentils, and chickpeas are loaded with potassium, magnesium, and fibre. He explains, “They may help blood vessels relax and reduce ACE activity. Regular intake (about half to one cup, three to five times weekly) is linked with modest BP drops of approximately one mmHg and better control overall.”

Nitrate-rich veggies

Dr Sood notes that vegetables like beetroot, spinach, and arugula are rich in nitric oxide, which promotes vasodilation. He elaborates, “A portion daily (approximately 80 grams spinach or 100 to 200 mL beetroot juice) can lower systolic BP by about five mmHg in hypertensive adults.”

Nuts

According to the physician, nuts like walnuts, pistachios, and almonds supply the body with magnesium, arginine, and unsaturated fats that improve vessel flexibility. He adds, “Pistachios show the greatest effect, lowering systolic BP by approximately two mmHg. Use unsalted nuts a few times per week.”

Fermented dairy

Dr Sood explains, “Yoghurt and kefir may produce ACE-inhibiting peptides that aid vasodilation. Some studies show approximately five mmHg systolic reduction after eight weeks, though effects vary. Choose plain, low-sugar, live-culture versions several times weekly.”

Russell Crowe credits 55lb weight loss to cutting back alcohol intake

Russell Crowe says cutting back on his alcohol intake helped him drop 55lbs.

Photo: Lumeimages.com/Avalon

The Gladiator star, 61, loves a tipple, but he now limits booze to “one night a week” and is reaping the benefits, as a year after wrapping filming on Nuremberg, he’s shed an impressive amount of weight.

Appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, he said: “I’m a big proponent for having a drink.

“But as you get older, there are certain things that you start to learn about your capacities.”

He continued: “Now that I’m an older guy, I know that one night a week—if I’m having fun—is plenty. I try to cut out the interstitial stuff.”

These days, Crowe would rather have one glass of expensive wine as a treat than consume any old drink “for the sake of it”.

He explained: “If I decide I’m going to have a glass of wine with dinner, then it’s going to be a really nice wine.

“I try not to have casual drinks now, having a drink for the sake of it. Those add up.”

The Australian native has also suffered from “deeply arthritic” shoulder and knee injuries, and the treatments for that have helped to reduce his “body’s inflammation”.

He shared: “It’s calmed down my body’s inflammation.

“What was messy a year ago, now has just lessened probably by about 70 per cent. One area in right shoulder, probably by about 90 per cent.”

Crowe quipped: “Now, it’s f****** rock and roll, son.

“It’s all going good.”

Meanwhile, the Nice Guys star recently ruled out getting married again following rumours he and girlfriend Britney Theriot were engaged.

Crowe was previously married to Australian singer and actress Danielle Spencer, with whom he tied the knot in 2003 and divorced in 2018.

The 61-year-old actor and his 33-year-old partner are often rumoured to be engaged, but Crowe insists he doesn’t want to “ruin” his “joyous and happy” life with his partner with a wedding.

Appearing on Sunday’s 60 Minutes last weekend, he said: “All these reports coming out that Britney and I are engaged and I’m going to get married again? No.

“My life is joyous and happy, why ruin that with a wedding?”

He gushed over his five-year relationship: “We respect each other and wake up with a smile, and we are very happy.”

Doubling down on not wanting to walk down the aisle again, he added: “I’ve been married once, and I know where that can go.

“I’m not gonna get married again. Doing it once is cool, but I don’t want to get married again.”

Crowe – who has Charles, 21, and Tennyson, 19, with his ex-spouse – has been dating Britney since 2020.

Are you struggling to meet your protein requirements? Sometimes it may feel like you are running out of meal planning options or that every option requires too many ingredients and too much effort. But what if one versatile ingredient could reduce the chore of meal prep?

Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness trainer revealed how you can increase your protein intake. (Picture credit: Instagram)

Celebrity fitness coach Siddhartha Singh, who has worked with stars like Tamannaah Bhatia, shared in a November 1 post about the versatile ingredient. “If you would ask me one thing, what you could include in your nutrition to up your protein in the easiest way possible. I would say Greek yoghurt,” he said, naming Greek yoghurt. It is one of the most convenient ways to boost daily protein without spending hours in the kitchen.

The fitness coach shared these 3 reasons why Greek yoghurt works so well to improve your protein intake.

1. Versatile

The first reason the fitness coach pointed out was Greek yoghurt’s versatility. It’s a blank canvas for healthy eating as it fits in for both sweet and savoury treats.

Siddhartha elaborated,“If you add fruits into your Greek yoghurt, it becomes a sweet snack; at the same time, if you add something like, say, peanut butter and nuts, it becomes a savoury snack. So the versatility is amazing.”

This way, Greek yoghurt can multitask for you as the flavour notes of Greek yoghurt work for all kinds of dishes.

2. No cooking

The next reason is that Greek yoghurt doesn’t require you to cook. Siddhartha highlighted that you can simply place a quick order on a 10-minute delivery app, and you will have a ready-to-eat, high-protein snack within minutes. He called it, ‘an amazing high protein snack at your disposal.’

3. Beneficial for gut health

Other than being a great source of protein, Greek yoghurt also contains probiotics.

“Greek yoghurt has probiotics, so basically it’s great for your gut, so instead of taking random supplements off the counter to get your pre and probiotics in, just have some Greek yoghurt, ”Siddhartha explained. Greek yoghurt is also a more accessible and easier way to support gut health, over the supplements.

Cardiologist warns artificial sweeteners stealing years from your brain: ‘62% faster cognitive decline with high intake’

Several health studies have linked the consumption of sugar with many diseases. A 2022 Harvard Health report states that consumption of added sugar leads to higher blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease, which are in turn linked to an increased risk for heart attack and stroke.

Scared of these alarming effects of sugar consumption, many people swap it with artificial sweeteners. But are they any better? Did you know your sweet tooth could also be causing ageing in your brain?

Are sweeteners speeding up your brain’s ageing?

In an Instagram post shared on September 11, Dr Sanjay Bhojraj, MD, an interventional cardiologist and functional medicine doctor, highlighted the fact that sweeteners may be harming our brains and explained how they cause brain ageing. He wrote, “Small swaps today. Stronger brain tomorrow.”

Dr Bhojraj explained, “Most people swap sugar for artificial sweeteners, believing they’re the safer choice. But new research is sounding the alarm.”

He cited a neurology study conducted with 12,000+ adults and pointed out: “Could artificial sweeteners be stealing years from your brain? Researchers observed clear patterns in cognitive health. This isn’t just about replacing sugar. I’ve seen this story before: choices that look harmless end up silently costing health and longevity.”

Harmless choices silently cost health and longevity

The cardiologist warned, “Artificial sweeteners can disrupt metabolism, interfere with the gut-brain connection, and add long-term stress to your cardiovascular and cognitive systems. What feels like a safer choice today may quietly accelerate decline tomorrow.”

Additionally, he highlighted several facts associated with sweeteners that prove that they are harmful to the brain. Here’s what the expert said:

  • High sweetener intake was linked to a 62 percent faster cognitive decline
  • Equivalent to 1.6 years of accelerated brain ageing
  • Strongest impact on people under 60 and those with diabetes

He added, “The good news? Longevity isn’t about luck – it’s about making smarter decisions based on science, not shortcuts.”
