Despite the fright, the concert continued once the crowd stabilized. Shreya Ghoshal, known for her soulful voice and remarkable versatility, draws massive crowds wherever she performs. She began learning classical music at age six and made her Bollywood debut with the 2002 film Devdas after which she won the National Award for Bairi Piya and Dola Re Dola. Apart from this, she also earned National Awards for songs including, Yeh Ishq Hai, Jeev Rangla, Maayava Thooyava, Pherari Mon.

Birthday Bash Turns Chaotic After Gunfire Erupts

According to officials, the shooting broke out around 12:15 a.m. at a massive rental home in Bath Township, Ohio — about 15 miles outside of Akron. Teenagers had packed the property for what was billed online as “the party of the weekend”, but moments later, gunfire sent guests running for cover. When first responders arrived, they found multiple victims and a chaotic scene as paramedics worked desperately to save lives.

Nine Hurt As Illegal Airbnb Party Sparks Investigation

Bath Township Police Chief Vito Sinopoli confirmed that nine people were injured during the incident. Though, it’s still unclear how many were shot. At least one victim may have been hurt while fleeing. Most attendees were reportedly under 18, and investigators say the home had been rented through Airbnb — a direct violation of local zoning laws that prohibit short-term rentals in the area. Police haven’t released details about potential suspects or what sparked the shooting. However, they did confirm that no arrests have been made.

In a statement to the media, Airbnb expressed heartbreak over the violence. Besides cooperating with police, they also suspended the property listing and banned the renter’s account. The company highlighted its ongoing global ban on parties, which it claims has led to a 50% drop in unauthorized gatherings since 2020. “We are heartbroken by this senseless act of gun violence,” Airbnb said. “Our thoughts are with the injured victims and all those affected.”

Ohio Community Shaken As History Repeats Itself

This isn’t the first time Bath Township has seen violence tied to an Airbnb property. Back in 2017, another shooting at a rental home left one person wounded. Chief Sinopoli called Sunday’s incident a grim reminder that “no community is immune from violence.” As investigators continue to piece together what happened, one thing is clear — what started as a night of celebration has left an entire community shaken and searching for answers.

Strictly fans “gutted” as they spot Stefan Dennis with fellow injured celeb

Strictly Come Dancing’s Icons Week was full of impressive performances, fabulous costumes and even a couple of starry cameos, but fans were sad to see two former contestants watching on from the sidelines due to injury.

Earlier this week, Neighbours favourite Stefan Dennis had to withdraw from the competition after tearing his calf, meaning he and his pro partner Dianne Buswell were no longer in the Strictly line-up.

Before any of tonight’s (25th October) routines, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman shared a message of support for Stefan, who was sitting in the audience.

“Stefan and Dianne had to sadly withdraw from the competition this week as Stefan sustained an injury,” Claudia told viewers. “He’s here with us tonight. We love you Stefan.”

Tess added: “Lots of love to you Stefan from all of us.”

It was particularly poignant, as fans noticed that he was sitting next to Dani Dyer, who was also forced to pull out of this season before the live shows had even begun after fracturing her ankle.

One viewer wrote on X: “aww stefan and dani… my two faves injured… GUTTED!!!! heartbroken mate!!”

Another wrote: “awwww bless stefan and dani sat in the audience!!! i bet it’s so hard for them to 🙁 but so glad they get the experience some of the magic still.”

After Dani – who had been partnered with Nikita Kuzmin – dropped out of the show, she was replaced by a fellow former Love Island star, Amber Davies.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of Strictly, Tess and Claudia thanked fans for their “beautiful messages” following the news that they will both be leaving the show this year, and Ellie Goldstein and Vicky Pattison were surprised by two of their music icons.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed to The Sun that an ambulance was called to Leavesden Studios in Watford, Herts, on Friday and transported an injured individual to a local hospital.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth film in the Sony’s Spider-Man franchise, is due in theaters on July 31st, 2026.

Stabbing Outside of Phish Concert Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

One person was killed and two more were injured in a stabbing that took place outside of Phish’s concert at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, on Friday.

According to WTKR News, the incident began near an unofficial merchandise booth, where an argument between several people escalated into a violent altercation that left three injured. One of the victims was transported to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Police said the suspect initially fled the scene but was later taken into custody.

Phish addressed the incident in a statement on Saturday, saying: “During last night’s show, a tragic incident took place in the parking lot outside Hampton Coliseum. There was an altercation behind one of the tents in the unofficial vending area in which someone lost their life and two other people were injured. We don’t have more information than what has been reported by the police, who called it an isolated incident, but what we do know is upsetting enough. We are deeply saddened by this and our hearts go out to all of those affected.”

One person was killed and two more were injured in a stabbing that took place outside of Phish‘s show at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, on Friday night.

Police responded to a violent altercation just after 9:30 p.m. ET, according to a police report from the Hampton Police Division. According to the report published Saturday, the suspect fled the scene on foot, but detectives managed to identify “all parties involved,” adding it appeared “to be an isolated incident.”

“The first victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries,” Cpl. Shaun Stalnaker wrote. “The second victim was also transported and is currently receiving medical treatment. A third adult male victim later arrived at a local hospital as a walk-in, also suffering from a laceration determined to be non-life-threatening.” As of Saturday, a suspect had not yet been identified.

“The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred on September 19, 2025.”

Phish addressed the incident in a statement on Instagram Saturday, saying that while they “don’t have more information than what has been reported by the police,” the band was “deeply saddened” by the tragedy.

Officers responded to an altercation that had escalated into violence on Coliseum Drive just after 9:30 p.m. ET, according to a police report from the Hampton Police Division. The suspect fled, but detectives “identified all parties involved” and determined it “appears to be an isolated incident,” says the report published on Saturday.

“Members from the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and rendered medical assistance,” Cpl. Shaun Stalnaker writes. “The first victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Lead singer/guitarist Trey Anastasio’s solo band has gigs slated for this fall before Phish takes the stage together again for their traditional run of New Year’s Eve shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, where they’ve booked a four-show series spanning the dates of Dec. 28-31.
