Ideas
It’s that time again, when group chats are buzzing with Halloween costume ideas that will go viral and have people either admiring or dropping their jaw. And 2025 gave us plenty of material to work with.
Between Beyoncé turning Levi’s into a high-fashion moment, Gayle King clocking in for space duty, and Nicki and Cardi turning social media into a virtual WWE ring, this year’s chaos is begging to be re-created. This year’s costumes won’t just be spooky; they’re about to be a spectacle. Expect to see a few people dressing up as Druski in his full-blown NASCAR get-up, a Labubu doll, and at least one person showing up in full “Whoopty Do” Young Thug mode.
Halloween has always been about fantasy and imagination, but in 2025, it’s about commentary, too. The internet gave us a year of drama, comedic relief, and meme-worthy moments that we’re sure will be executed to perfection through creativity.
So, if you’re still searching “best viral Halloween costumes 2025” trying to figure out what to wear, relax. We already did the hard part. Take a look below at moments that defined 2025 and would make a memorable Halloween costume.
Labubu
Image Credit: Kevin Frayer/Getty Images The quirky toy character from Hong Kong’s Pop Mart became all the craze in the U.S. this year — so much so that costume-predictions listed Labubu among the top trending looks for Halloween. What makes it costume-worthy is its cuddly, yet monstrous look that many really don’t understand, but the youth adores.
To recreate: wear a pastel, neon, or mismatched colored fuzzy onesie or oversize sweater with faux fur, oversized foam ears attached by a headband, and a toothy smile overlay. Carry a small “blind-box” bag prop as a nod to the collector culture.
Jaden Smith’s “Black House” Ensemble

Image Credit: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images At the 2025 Grammys, Jaden wore a giant black castle headpiece by Abodi, nicknamed “Vampire Castle.” The look was definitely an attention-grabber with many not understanding what message he was conveying.
“The whole process of creating the headpiece was a fantastic experience, from sketching to testing and realisation,” the company wrote in a Feb. 2 Instagram of the look. “The artistic headpiece combines the mysterious elegance of ABODI Transylvania with a bold, modern design inspired by Transylvanian history and the vampire legends of the Bathori.”
Recreate: Get a foam or cardboard cutout in a castle turret shape, paint it black, add gothic accents, and cut out a face window. Pair it with a sleek all-black suit or goth outfit.

Young Thug “Whoopty Do” Moment

Image Credit: Youtube screenshot Young Thug sparked a viral meme moment in September with his off-hand “Whoopty Do” remark during an interview discussing his release from jail and his current relationship with Gunna. While on the Perspectives With Bank podcast, he opened up about how their bond has irreversibly changed following their two-year YSL RICO case.
The clip that caught fire featured Thug casually saying “Whoopty Do” while downplaying the very real possibility that they could have spent years behind bars — a moment of nonchalance that quickly became the source for a meme.
Costume guide: wear a white tank top, bedazzled beanie, dark shades, a grill or a few gold teeth, iced out chains, face tats, and don’t forget the energetic personality.
Kai Cenat’s Fortnite Skin

Image Credit: Fortnite screnshot, Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images Famed streamer, Kai Cenat, and his AMP squad have continued to dominate the Twitch space year after year, with Cenat’s latest accomplishment being his own Fortnite skin in the beloved video game. In August, the Sphere in Las Vegas lit up with a two-minute video unveiling the brand-new skin bundle during a livestream, making it the first time a streamer was featured on the large display.
Make the W Fortnite skin: sport a white tank-top shirt, with red camo shorts and matching hat. Find a dred loc wig and also temporary tattoos to place all over your arms (if you don’t have any). Lastly, add some black Jordan’s and a AMP chain that can be made with cardboard, aluminum foil or with other arts and crafts. For a real-world nod to the livestream reveal, incorporate a miniature or toy Mercedes AMG, inspired by the trailer footage of the car driving around the Sphere.
Andre 3000’s Met Gala Piano Look

Image Credit: Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images At the May 2025, Met Gala, André 3000 wore a baby-grand piano on his back while arriving on the red carpet, announcing his surprise EP 7 Piano Sketches. The look was very campy and had social media buzzing for days, making it a sure go-to for the Halloween.
How to do it: attach a lightweight piano-key pattern made with poster board or use styrofoam to create a “piano backpack” to a blazer or trench coat; classic black trousers, white dress shirt; bowtie optional. Walk like you’re still at the gallery opening.
‘Sinners’ Twins “Smoke” & “Stack”

Image Credit: Courtesy of Warner Bros Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan’s 2025 film Sinners was a box office hit. The vampire film, set in the deep delta south, gave viewers a whole new view on how a vampire flick can focus to the history of Blues music. Twin characters “Smoke” and “Stack” — both played by Jordan – will definitely be a Halloween go-to for duos as the characters are polar opposite of one another. The brothers not only each have a distinct fashion sense, their vernacular and mannerisms are much different than one another.
Jordan told PEOPLE, “What we understood about identical twins is that one often takes the lead in certain ways. Discovering those subtle differences was both fun and incredibly informative on a process level.” Speaking of characters Smoke and Stack, he added, “Their physicality — the way they stood, the way they moved — was distinct. Smoke carried his trauma differently; he was more closed off. Stack, on the other hand, was lighter. He smiled through his pain, through his trauma.”
To nail the look: Channel the 1930s with earth-toned layered suit jackets and slacks, paired with suspenders, a crisp shirt, a wide-brim or Newsboy hat, and classic dress shoes. Add playful props like a toy knife or pistol to complete the look. To really capture the essence of Smoke and Stack, focus on the nuanced details that Jordan brought to each character such as their slightly different Mississippi accents, the way they moved and reacted, and the subtle contrasts in their energy.
Lil Nas X Roaming The Streets

Image Credit: Instagram screenshot In a wild 2025 moment, Lil Nas X was filmed strolling down a Los Angeles street in only underwear and cowboy boots before being hospitalized and arrested for alleged drug use. Although VIBE wishes the best for Lil Nas X, undoubtedly, fans will recreate this moment for a viral Halloween costume.
Costume version: flesh-tone bodysuit or your birthday suit, white Hanes underwear, white cowboy boots, and an orange traffic cone on your head (nod to the clip).
Nicki Minaj Vs. Cardi B

Image Credit: Getty Images The ongoing saga between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B hit a new low this year after Cardi dropped her long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama? — and honestly, she proved she just might be, even when she’s not trying.
What started as subtle shade from Minaj spiraled into a full-blown digital showdown, with the two rap queens trading ruthless jabs on X about everything from each other’s kids to alleged drug use and STDs, and lack of lyrical prowess. The feud lit up timelines and divided the internet, forcing fans to pick a side — Team Barbz or Team Bardi — as the online feud turned the timeline into a metaphorical wrestling ring.
Couple costume potential: one as Nicki (pink wig, high-fashion “Barbie-inspired” outfit, Barbz chain), one as Cardi (red wig, dramatic fashion ensemble, red bandana as accessory). Add props like a prosthetic baby bump for Cardi and a pink chicken-wing chain for Nicki.

Druski As White Nascar Fan

Image Credit: Instagram screenhot/Druski Comedian and actor, Druski, made one of his most viral skits to-date when he dressed as the most exaggerated white NASCAR fan — mullet wig, overalls and white body makeup included. Although his look was pure satire, it did receive backlash for its perceived racist undertones.
In the skit, Druski fully leaned into the role — cheering wildly at a NASCAR race, chugging beers alongside real white fans, and belting out Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.” at the top of his lungs. He smoked a cigarette with an older white woman who ended up sitting on his lap, spit on the ground as a Black man walked by, questioned another Black attendee about why he was there, and went all out when the national anthem played.
To get the look this Halloween: grab overalls (or ripped jeans + suspenders), a plaid shirt or tank, mullet wig or fake hair piece, white or tan face/body paint with a pink sunburn, a beer-can prop, hat with NASCAR logos, and a fake cigarette. Walk around shouting “Born in the USA!” for full effect.
Beyonce’s “Levii’s Jeans” Look

Image Credit: Mason Poole When Beyoncé dropped visuals for Cowboy Carter in full-on Levi’s denim, she created an internet tidal wave of “how do we get that look” searches.
Bey turned simple Levi’s jeans into couture with a full on campaing that showed her removing her booty-hugging denim jeans in the Laundromat and washing them in diamonds. Sporting only a denim cowboy hat and white undergarments underneath, she read the daily paper, waiting for her load to finish as her country hit “LEVII’s Jeans” played in the background.
The costume version: pair a Levi’s denim jacket with matching high-waist jeans, add a bold western belt buckle, boots, and sleek blonde hair with a red lip. Bedazzle your denim and throw in a toy microphone or a belt chain for extra “Queen Bey” flair.
SZA & Keke Palmer in ‘One Of Them Days’

Image Credit: Anne Marie Fox In the 2025 Friday-esqué film One Of Them Days, Keke Palmer and SZA play besties dealing with eviction stress that causes them to go to the limits to make $2500 dollars before the evening. In one particular scene, the two bloody their clothes from a hilarious incident at a blood bank, where they’re forced to wear unforgettable wacky outfits — a look that many will probably recreate this year.
Put it together with your bestie: choose either Palmer’s neon green, fishnet jumpsuit or opt-out for her plaid shirt, baggy jeans and hoops. To get even more creative with Keke’s look, you can style your hair in box-braids with the top of your hair left out.
For SZA’s look, grab a kinky-curly wig that you can tease to make even bigger and throw on a swishy burgundy track suit with beat-up Jordans. As an alternative look, you can opt for a tank top with hearts, crochet cardigan and bold beaded necklaces.

Gayle King And Crew In Space

Image Credit: Blue Origin Instagram On April 14, 2025, Blue Origin launched mission NS-31 with an all-female crew including Gayle King and Katy Perry for a rare space moment. Upon the the crew’s return to Earth, King appeared to look bewildered as she sported a sleek blue Monse-designed flight suit, reminiscent of a modernized Star Trek uniform.
Costume how-to: slip into a metallic or cobalt jumpsuit (or tailored flight suit), affix a mission patch or custom badge saying “NS-31,” add a visor or space helmet prop, or simply sport King’s burgundy bob hairstyle.

Prison Diddy With Baby Oil

Image Credit: Amy Sussman/Getty Images for MRC If there’s one costume that’s guaranteed to have people clutching their pearls and their baby oil, it’s one showcasing Sean “Diddy” Combs’ and his legal woes. After months of swirling controversy, the rap mogul became the center of endless memes when social media users began joking about the discovery of thousands of bottles of baby oil in his Miami residence during Homeland Security’s home invasion.
Not to make light of anyone’s pain, but as one of the most shocking moment of the year, you can bet someone’s bound to recreate it.
How to turn controversy into a costume: grab a standard bright orange prison jumpsuit, create a Bad Boys chain to wear over it, and make sure your skin glistens with a generous layer of baby oil (keep the bottle for show). To complete the satire look, wear a pair of aviator sunglasses, diamond earrings, and carry a mic or Cîroc bottle as a prop for good measure.

When it comes to shopping for the leading ladies in your circle, the best gifts for women are more about making a thoughtful gesture than spending a ton. Not to generalize, but we’ve found that what a woman wants, after all, is something she wouldn’t be likely to buy herself—whether it’s a luxe upgrade to her tired jammies or a journal that’ll encourage her to take five minutes for herself (something that even the gals who have everything will appreciate).
If she could use some self-care (say she’s a new mom), then a weighted sleep mask is a great pick for a Christmas or just-because gift. If you’re looking to go the meaningful route, choose something that’ll remind her of her loved ones (think a digital frame preloaded with snaps of her cherished memories). And if she’s especially hard to shop for, popular foolproof options include high-end candles, or better yet, a candle made to smell like the day she was born (it’s one of our favorite birthday presents).
Everything here has been vetted by Glamour editors who have given and received them, and endorsed by our trusted circle of sisters (real and chosen), so you can bet that these ideas will make her feel special. And don’t forget the card. Add one of those and you truly can’t go wrong when shopping for your wife, girlfriend, bestie, and more.
The best gifts for women, at a glance
Nude nails ideas have officially taken the manicure world by storm—and show no sign of slowing down. In fact, neutral nails are so popular that there are now entire sub-genres within the trend. This fall, the toasted nail trend took off with an seasonal vibe that elevates classic nude tones and proves its subtle versatility. We’ve also seen milk bath nails, glass nails, and (a forever-trend, at this point) glazed donut nails all over red carpets and social media. What do all these trends have in common? They all go with absolutely everything, and maximize the ‘your-nails-but-better’ effect.
There’s nothing more timeless or reliable than a nude nail, so why is this quiet luxury trend having such a moment? “I think maybe with all the craziness happening in the world right now, minimalism in beauty feels like a nice balance,” says celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, whose clients include Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez. “We still want to feel beautiful, but not in a ‘look at me’ sort of way.”
Whether you’re in the market for a special occasion mani or an everyday look, nude nails come off as clean, polished, and sophisticated in any setting. While moody shades and dark manicures are always in-season for fall and winter, the naked nail knows no season. Plus, they’re the perfect way to freshen up the gloomiest time of year.

Natural tips
The classic French manicure never goes out of style, but this super-sheer version is our new obsession. Instead of the typical bright whites we often see, opt for a creamy shade that blends subtly with the translucent, nearly-invisible base. The result? A delicate, ultra-sophisticated look. This design is perfect if you’re looking for a discreet yet polished manicure.
Toasted nude nails
If your manicure has been feeling a little blah recently, one of the best ways to elevate your look is with the best accent nail ideas. Designed to break up your manicure and add another layer of visual interest, accent nails are a great way to experiment with different colors, shapes, and textures without committing to a full-on nail design.
“An accent nail is the statement piece of a manicure, the one detail that instantly draws the eye,” says Juanita Huber-Millet founder of luxury nail salon Townhouse. “It’s usually when one, or sometimes two, nails are painted in a contrasting shade or elevated with nail art. It creates a chic focal point and is such a stylish way to dip into trends or showcase your personality. Think of it as the jewelry of your manicure, that finishing touch that ties everything together.”
Which finger should be an accent nail?
The most common finger for accent nails is the ring finger. “It naturally catches the eye; if you are wearing a special ring, it acts as the perfect frame,” says Huber-Millet.
However, the beauty of accent nails is the amount of options. Julie K, a celebrity manicurist and KISS Nails ambassador, encourages clients to tailor their choice around their personal style or upcoming events. “It can really be on any finger,” Julie says. “I like to switch it up—one hand will have maybe a ring finger accent, and one hand will have a thumb. That way, if they are shooting content, or they are traveling and want to take a photo of their food or drink, they have one nail with the accent design on it that’s holding the glass.”
Gina Edwards, celebrity manicurist and imPRESS Mani ambassador, also recommends the index finger and pinky finger for accent nails.
Can you wear more than one accent nail?
You can definitely wear more than one accent nail. According to Huber-Millet, it’s a great way switch up the vibe of your mani. “For some, a single accent nail feels chic and understated, while others prefer experimenting with two or more for a bolder effect,” she says. “Accent nails allow you to be playful and creative while still keeping your manicure polished.”
Should an accent nail use light colors or dark colors?
This all depends on the type of look you’re going for. “It can go either way,” says Edwards. “If you have a light colored manicure a dark nail will stand out and it works the same on the reversal. Just be sure to keep the colors cohesive in the same grain as the color palette.”
5 Red Jumper Outfit Ideas to Try in Winter That Will Make You Forget All About Black and Brown
by jummy84
written by jummy84
Every winter, I find myself drawn back to one colour: red. It’s bold without being brash, statement-making yet surprisingly wearable. And when it comes to knitwear, a red jumper might just be the easiest way to inject some energy into the simplest outfit. Whether it’s paired with jeans, tailored trousers, or a mini skirt, this one piece has a way of making everything feel put together.
This season, shades of red are everywhere—from deep burgundy and wine tones to bright, punchy cherry and scarlet. Our favourite fashion influencers are treating the colour as a new neutral, styling it with everything from classic black and grey to earthy khaki and rich chocolate brown.
Seeing how stylish women are wearing the red jumper this season has shed new light on its versatility. Whether you lean towards minimal dressing or love a statement piece, this is one wardrobe hero that will carry you stylishly through the colder months. And, dare I say it, you’ll get lots of wear out of a red jumper during the festive season, when the time comes, of course!
Below, I’ve rounded up five red jumper outfits that offer a fresh take on cosy winter dressing.
5 Red Jumper Outfits I’m Wearing Instead of Black or Brown Right Now:
1. V-Neck Jumper + Straight-Leg Jeans + Boots
Style Notes: Red and black denim are a match made for low-effort dressing. A crisp white tee layered underneath softens the look — casual, confident, and perfect for off-duty days.

2. Turtleneck + Maxi Skirt + Heels
Style Notes: The power of a red roll-neck: instantly statement-making, effortlessly elegant. Paired with a long black skirt and heels, it’s proof that the classics will never go out of style.

3. Classic Jumper + Brown Trousers
Style Notes: This one’s all about rich, autumnal tones. The red knit pops beautifully against chocolate-brown trousers — a combo that feels as cosy as it does timeless.

4. Dark Red Jumper + Olive Mini Skirt
Style Notes: A deep red knit and a khaki mini make the perfect autumn pairing — bold yet grounded. Add pointed heels to keep things sleek, or swap for knee-high boots when the chill sets in.

Style Notes: The preppy rugby knit gets a polished upgrade with a black mini and knee-high boots. It’s playful but grown-up — think Parisian café chic meets weekend comfort.

I’m not sure what it is about fall, but by mid-October, I often find myself in a style rut. It feels like everything I know about dressing well just slips my mind. While I may get a bit self-critical, I never panic because I know there are different ways to find inspiration and create outfits. My favorite method is to look at various celebrity street style outfits, especially those of Zoë Kravitz.
Kravitz hasn’t always been my style muse. It began in 2022 when I started paying attention. Her long black dress at The Batman premiere and her white gown at the Met Gala caught my eye. Off the red carpet, I started admiring her “less is more” approach, focusing on elevated wardrobe essentials rather than chasing every micro-trend. Then in early 2025, when she began working with stylist Danielle Goldberg, she truly became a fashion icon for me.
I appreciate her confidence in her personal style—she knows what she likes and sticks to it, which, in my opinion, embodies true personal style. For example, she favors a satin-trimmed pencil skirt and jeans of all kinds, and when she’s not in flat clogs, she’s likely in pointed-toe pumps or open-toe sandals with sheer tights. While she often wears designers like The Row and Saint Laurent, her looks still feel like I can replicate them using pieces I already own. If you’re looking for style inspiration like I am, keep scrolling to see six of my favorite fall outfits worn by Kravitz along with the pieces needed to re-create them.

This fall, if you’re looking to invest in just one piece, let it be a stunning, well-made coat—a wardrobe staple that can become the outfit. Picture a design that layers beautifully over your favorite jeans and flowy dresses or even something you can wrap yourself in when walking your dog in sweatpants. Here, Kravitz has opted for a high-neck black wool coat, a style that is the epitome of versatility and timeless elegance.

If you can’t tell by now, Kravitz loves a silk pencil skirt in the fall—and for good reason. It’s highly versatile, and it can be styled with a chunky sweater, blazer, or technical jacket, as seen here and on many other insiders this fall. The contrast between the sporty coat and the elegant skirt is unexpected, but that’s what makes it look stylish.

As we enter cozy season and you’re picking out boots and socks, it’s a no-brainer to start thinking about fall pedicure ideas. Although pedicures shine the most during summertime, we can all agree that clean and polished toes are always in season. You’ve probably already saved fall nail ideas and hair colors to your moodboard, so why not give your pedi a seasonal makeover too?
“Just like manicures, pedicures take on a seasonal shift, and autumn is the moment to lean into richer tones and elevated finishes,” says Juanita Huber-Millet, the founder and creative director of luxury nail salon Townhouse. “Think deep burgundy for a polished, statement-making look, or a sumptuous chocolate brown for that chic, cozy vibe, perfect against soft knits and ankle boots. For something more fashion-forward, a glazed chrome overlay gives pedicures a toasted, luminous edge that feels effortlessly modern.”
If you’re in need of some inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. To help get you started, we asked top nail artists for insight on the best fall pedicure ideas.
What pedicure nail colors are trending for fall?
You can never go wrong with autumnal tones that evoke the changing leaves and cozy season. “Deep burgundy, chocolate, and espresso shades perfectly capture the essence of fall, making them a versatile choice for everything from casual days to more refined occasions,” says Huber-Millet.
If you’re into nail art, there’s room for unconventional pops of color—possibly from your favorite summer nail polishes. According to celebrity nail artist Elle Gerstein, these colors can be incorporated to create a seasonal mix. She also references colors and textures that are popular this time of year to help inform your look. “Leather, sweater textures, animal textures (but not necessarily prints) and metallic finishes,” Gerstein says. “Right now, everything is playing off light and heavy and soft and hard and combining it. Sepia is a big trend for fall, it’s the same tone done over and over but make it lighter or darker whether that’s making it jelly, less opaque.”
And lastly, we can’t forget the Pantone Color of the Year, which is perfect for cool weather. “One of the strongest directions for fall pedicures this year is the rise of cocoa inspired shades,” says nail artist and educator Sofiia Mazur. “Mocha Mousse perfectly reflects this trend. Expect to see a range of shades from soft latte beiges to rich chocolate browns taking center stage. These warm neutrals not only feel seasonal but also pair beautifully with cozy fall fashion.”
