The Osbournes reveal Ozzy was secretly hospitalised two weeks before final gig

The Osbournes have revealed that the late Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne was secretly hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert.

  • READ MORE: Ozzy Osbourne, 1948-2025: culture-smashing revolutionary that redefined rock and reality TV

The Prince of Darkness passed away in July at the age of 76, just 17 days after he played one final show as the frontman of Black Sabbath at a concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Now, in the first episode of The Osbournes Unfiltered podcast since Ozzy’s passing, Sharon, Kelly and Jack remembered the metal pioneer, revealing several unknown things about his final year.

While Ozzy had long been battle a number of medical conditions and setbacks – including Parkinson’s Disease – Jack shared that “things started getting worse” in the first week of December last year, when Ozzy “took a little fall”.

Later on in the podcast episode, the family opened up to reveal that Ozzy had been hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert with Black Sabbath, and no one knew. Reflecting on Ozzy’s hospitalisation.

While they didn’t reveal why Ozzy was hospitalised in that instance, Sharon turned to Jack with a funny story: “The story, I don’t think even you know it, we had him in the hospital and we were just terrified that people were going to find out.”

“So we had all the security and the hospital – the hospital was amazing, they really were – the people at the front desk were told ‘nobody, if they ask for Ozzy, he’s not here. Nobody’s allowed up’, all of that. They had pictures of all of us who were allowed up, and names, and this guy comes up and says ‘I want to see John Osbourne (Ozzy’s legal name)’ so of course there’s a red light and they go ‘who are you?’ and he goes ‘I’m his brother.’”

“So they call up to the security, and they say ‘Ozzy’s brother is here,’” Sharon continued. “‘He’s asked to see him. He knows he’s here.’ I’m like, there’s no way, his brother doesn’t even know he’s in here. His sisters, his brother didn’t know. So I sent security down and I said ‘find out who this guy is, he’s definitely from the press.’”

“They’re not the most polite in the world, they’re the most threatening. This guy kept saying ‘He’s my brother, he knows I’m coming.’ After harassing this poor man, there was [another] John Osbourne in the hospital, and it was his brother. We felt so terrible.”

Osbourne had experienced a number of health issues in recent years, including a 2019 fall that aggravated an earlier spinal injury, requiring numerous surgeries. In addition to suffering pneumonia and a longstanding infection, he had also been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s.

Recently, Jack Osbourne said the final Black Sabbath show became a “living wake” for his late father Ozzy Osbourne. Speaking to Good Morning America he shared his memories of being present for the final show. “Before he went on stage, I ran back into the dressing room and I just gave him a big hug and I just kissed him and I just said, ‘Crush it, you’re going to do so good’,” he explained.

“I was in the crowd and I was with my brother and we both were just crying – it wasn’t because of feeling sorry for him, it wasn’t because we were sad for him, I think it was because we knew it was the last time…In hindsight, it kind of was a living wake, if you think about it. He got to say goodbye to everyone.”

The final stage of Osbourne’s life has been captured in the new BBC documentary Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which is available to watch on the BBC iPlayer for UK viewers here.

In poignant scenes at the end of the doc, Ozzy reflects on the experience of playing in front of 44,000 people for one final time. “The only thing I really got… what was terribly frustrating for me, I had to sit there instead of running across the stage,” he said. “That was fucking torture, because I wanted to get off that [chair] so much.”

He continued: “It was very humbling, to sit in that chair for nine songs. What a great way to go out, that gig was.”

Another new documentary, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, details the Prince Of Darkness’ final six years is available to stream on Paramount+ now. Osbourne’s memoir Last Rites was also published in October and included Ozzy speaking about a heart problem days before his passing and how the late Friends actor Matthew Perry once attended AA meetings at the Osbourne’s house.

Chitrangda Singh Hospitalised, Shares Selfie From Bed — Then Quietly Deletes Post

by jummy84 October 23, 2025

Bollywood actor Chitrangda Singh recently left fans anxious after posting a photo from her hospital bed and then removing it without explanation. The image, which featured the actor resting with an IV drip attached, sparked concern across social media before being quietly taken down.

The Post That Raised the Alarm

On her Instagram Story, Chitrangda shared a selfie taken while she lay in hospital. The frame captured her in a hospital bed, draped in a white sheet and connected to a medical drip. The caption read:

“Hoping to be back running like a hare soon!”

Although the message suggested optimism, the lack of detail around the reason for her admission prompted widespread worry among her followers. Within hours, screenshots of the Story began circulating online. Later that day, Chitrangda removed the post entirely — a move that only intensified speculation about her health.

Fans and Followers React

As the post gained traction, fans flocked to social media to share messages of support and ask for updates. Comments ranged from heartfelt:

“Get well soon, love!” to concerned:“Sending you lots of love and good wishes. This too shall pass…”

The sudden removal of the image added another layer of mystery. Some wondered whether the actor preferred to handle the situation privately, while others questioned whether she might be recovering quietly and wasn’t ready for public scrutiny.

What We Know So Far

Chitrangda is reportedly hospitalised, though neither she nor her team has shared details about the nature of her condition or expected discharge date. Reports from entertainment news portals simply note: “She has been hospitalised, shared a photo of herself from the hospital room and then deleted it.”

Career-Standing Amid the Health Update

Currently riding the momentum of several projects, Chitrangda’s sudden hospitalisation comes at a pertinent time. She is among the principal cast of Battle of Galwan — a high-profile film set to release soon alongside superstar Salman Khan. The film draws on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict and marks the pair’s first screen collaboration.

Her last major release was the ensemble comedy franchise entry Housefull 5, making the timing of this health scare sensitive for both the actor and her fans.

Why the Brief Post Matters

In an era when celebrities carefully curate their public personas, Chitrangda’s decision to post a raw moment of vulnerability—only to delete it moments later—stands out. It suggests a balance that many actors now navigate: sharing personal updates without turning them into spectacles.

The phrase “running like a hare soon” implies she intends to bounce back and resume her commitments. Yet by removing the post, she appears to have chosen to retreat from the spotlight, at least temporarily. It’s a reminder that beneath the glitz of film sets and red carpets lies the same human reality of illness, recovery and privacy.

What’s Next

For now, fans will wait for either Chitrangda or her public-relations team to offer a formal update. Until then, the message of recovery remains intact—and the show must go on. Whether she truly rises “like a hare” once again, one thing is clear: her courage in sharing a glimpse from a hospital bed shows both her humility and strength.

Wishing Chitrangda a speedy recovery, the film-world holds its breath for the day when she can confidently say she’s back—and running again.

Brigitte Bardot ‘hospitalised’

Brigitte Bardot has reportedly been hospitalised.

The 91-year-old actress and singer is said to have been admitted to the Saint-Jean private hospital in Toulon three weeks ago, according to French media outlet Nice-Matin.

The publication claims iconic star Brigitte has “undergone surgery” at the medical facility, but also reports she is expected to be released from hospital in a few days.

Bardot is thought to have been at her home in Saint-Tropez when she was taken to hospital.

She became an international sex symbol and fashion icon in the 1950s and 1960s, and has also been through three divorces.

In July 2023, it was reported Brigitte had suffered respiratory problems amid soaring temperatures in Saint-Tropez that summer.

Bardot was attended to by medics at her home in the south of France, after she experienced some breathing difficulties.

Bernard d’Ormale, the actress’ husband, told Var-Matin at the time: “It was around 9am when Brigitte had trouble breathing.”

Bernard described the health scare as a “respiratory distraction”.

He said: “[Her breathing] was stronger than usual but she did not lose consciousness. Let’s call it a moment of respiratory distraction.”

Brigitte was given oxygen by the medics and they “stayed to watch her” for some time, before they left the actress’ home.

Bernard shared: “Like all people of a certain age, she can no longer bear the heat. It happens at 88 years old. She must not make useless efforts.”

Brigitte – who has been married to Bernard since 1992 – previously admitted her life has been a mixture of “joy and terrible trials”.

The actress told the Guardian newspaper: “My life has been a succession of brief moments of joy and terrible trials. With me, life is made up only of the best and the worst, of love and hate.

“Everything that happened to me was excessive.”

Max George reveals he’s been hospitalised again

Max George has been hospitalised again as he continues to recover from a series of heart operations. The Wanted singer, 37, is due to rejoin the group on their US tour in October after a difficult year of repeated surgery, but has been fighting health issues since he had a pacemaker fitted in December 2024 after doctors discovered a heart block during emergency treatment.

Max George has been hospitalised again as he continues to recover from a series of heart operations

Weeks later he underwent a second procedure when it was found that pacemaker wires had been inserted too deeply. Since then he has returned to hospital for tests and monitoring.

Sharing a photograph from his hospital bed on Instagram this week, Max made light of his latest treatment.

He wrote alongside the snap showing him lying in bed in a ward in a hospital gown: “Tin man needed a bit of oil before tour. Next stop… USA!!!”

Speaking previously to The Sun on Sunday, Max admitted he was nervous when told he needed further surgery.

He said: “I thought I was on the road to recovery but when I was told I needed a second operation I was nervous, as pulling the pacemaker wires out of the heart wall risks bleeding on the heart. I didn’t have a choice, though. I had to have it done.”

Max added discomfort continued after the first operation.

He said: “I was trying to get back to good health but was still having a flickering sensation for weeks after I had my pacemaker fitted and it was gradually getting worse and worse.

“When my heart rate went up, it was causing a shock in my heart which was making me jump all the time. My chest was shaking.”

In March, Max posted an update to fans after the second procedure, explaining: “A few weeks ago I had to go back into hospital after having some physical symptoms in my chest.

“It turned out that one of the leads was placed too far into my heart. The second surgery took about 2 hours. Luckily, it was a success and they kindly let me listen to Oasis the whole time! It’s been a setback, but it’s just one of those things.”

He continued: “I’ve had a few complications the last couple of months but I’m having loads of tests to make sure everything is all good. It can take a few weeks / months for the inflammation of my heart to subside (myocarditis) but I’m sure I’ll be back on top form in no time!”

Max also thanked supporters, by saying: “Thanks everyone for all your lovely messages and support through what’s been a pretty rough time. Means a lot. Max.”

In February, The Wanted 2.0 cancelled a concert at Manchester Cathedral after doctors advised against Max performing so soon after surgery.

He told fans in a video posted to the band’s Instagram account: “My second heart op has set me back a little bit with my recovery and I’m just not going to be well enough in time. Yeah, obviously so gutted. Me and Siva are just working out now when we’re gonna do it which we 100percent will.”

Max is due to rejoin Siva Kaneswaran when the group begins their rescheduled US dates in Orlando, Florida on 10 October.

Lil Nas X hospitalised for possible overdose after charging at police officers in Los Angeles

by jummy84 August 21, 2025

Lil Nas X has reportedly been hospitalised due to a possible overdose after charging at police officers in Los Angeles.

According to Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed on Thursday (August 21) that a man in his underwear was spotted walking down the street in Studio City at 5:50am. Police attempted to approach him, at which point the man charged at them. He was then placed in handcuffs and escorted to hospital to be treated for a possible overdose.

Although LAPD have not named the man, TMZ also shared a video of Lil Nas X walking on the same street in his underwear, speaking incoherently at around the same time.

It is now believed that the rapper – real name Montero Lamar Hill – is being treated in hospital, and could still potentially be charged for a crime by police.

The incident comes just days after Lil Nas X deleted his Instagram history and renamed his account ‘QUEEN MADELINE’. He has since posted a number of images of artwork and shared clips of possible new music.

In April, the rapper suffered partial paralysis in the right side of his face, explaining in a social media post that he had “lost control” of some muscles. A few days later, he said he had regained some of the lost movement, telling fans that he had been instructed to chew gum to strengthen his muscles.

Lil Nas X released the ‘Days Before Dreamboy’ EP in March via Columbia Records. It was intended to be the latest step of a new album campaign that launched in late 2024 with the ‘Light Again’ single, and was then followed by ‘Need Dat Boy’ in November and ‘Hotbox‘.

‘Days Before Dreamboy’ served as a prelude to ‘DREAMBOY’, which has yet to receive a release date but had been expected to arrive sometime this year.

It will be his first full-length album since his 2021 debut ‘Montero’, which included the hit singles ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ and ‘Industry Baby’ with Jack Harlow.

In a three-star review of that album, NME wrote: “Mostly, it’s refreshing to see Lil Nas X in a different, more reflective light, but in asserting himself so strongly as a Serious Artist, he occasionally forgets about the touch of magic that made him one in the first place.”
