For example, research suggests that people with higher levels of anxiety may be more likely to experience anxious or uncomfortable reactions at higher doses. Meanwhile, individuals who use THC regularly often build tolerance, meaning they may need higher doses to feel the same effects, but that also increases the risk of overconsumption.
