Looks like the Harris family knows how to throw a party! King Harris Jr. just turned one, and his birthday bash was nothing short of a full-blown Disney extravaganza. With Mickey Mouse himself popping up, fans got a glimpse into the little prince living his best life—style, smiles, and all.

King Jr. Lives His Best Life At 1st Birthday Bash

In a series of Instagram Story posts, King Harris shows his son, King Jr., being doted on by his great-grandmother. The mini-me is also rocking a mini brown Mickey Mouse jacket with Disney patches, fresh Timbaland boots, and cute cornrows. Additionally, the party was decked out with a Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme, featuring red, yellow, and black balloons. Furthermore, videos show oversized pictures of King Jr.’s smiling face everywhere. On top of that, in-person characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy made special appearances, dancing along to ‘Take Me Thru Dere’ with the kids while King Jr. took in all the fun.

The party vibes were pure joy, giving fans all the feels as the family celebrated King Jr.’s big milestone in full Disney style. At one point, T.I. even passes the camera, giving fans a closer look at the celebration. Clearly, King Jr. isn’t just a year older—he’s already a certified party star.

The TL Is Loving The Harris Family Vibes

Fans were quick to flood The Shade Room’s Instagram comments, noting how much the whole Harris family looks alike. Many joked (or wished) they had snagged an invite to the star-studded Mickey-themed birthday bash. Others expressed joy at seeing King stepping into his role as a loving dad, cheering on the little family milestone.

One Instagram user @pr3ttyvirgo said, “That ‘Hey baby!’ Lmaoooo sounding like Tiny 😂😂😂😂😂… baby boy so cute ❤️”

King Harris Honors Son In Heartfelt Instagram Post

Just a few days ago, King Harris got real emotional on Instagram. In a sweet post, he called his son King Jr. his “savior, best friend, EVERYTHING.” In a heartfelt post, he reflected on how fast time flies and opened up about being locked up just a month before KJ’s birthday last year. Jail records show King was arrested in Dunwoody, Georgia, for failure to appear in court over 2022 driving-related charges after a police officer discovered a warrant following a near-accident.

King’s post didn’t hold back, sharing how being locked up made him think about his family. “I remember getting locked up a month before you was born and in the cell thinking bout if you and your mama are ok… you are who I stayed strong for,” he wrote. King also added that KJ made him from a “boy to a man.” He also reminded fans he’s still the dad, setting boundaries while promising to teach his son life lessons and “tuff love” along the way.

Riley & Zach Harris Face First Perilous Lake Crossing Without Their Dad

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The below contains spoilers for Ice Road Truckers Season 12]

The October 22 episode of Ice Road Truckers featured a huge moment for Zach and Riley Harris as they went on their first solo run without their father Shaun. How would they cope on the perilous lake crossing? Read on to find out.

The History Channel show’s latest installment started with Todd Dewey, who had survived the Asheweig Road, and was set for a 600-mile journey back to Muskie Creek with a 45,000-pound rock screener. He felt every bump along the way and was concerned about making it through the ice crossing. Todd investigated the ice in the area, but the snow made it hard to get a good reading. With max or even a few pounds over to haul on the dangerous stretch, he essentially flew blind and hoped for the best.

He kept the door half open to see if he could hear the cracking of the ice. Todd made it through the rough patch, but there was more to go before he could breathe a sigh of relief. The trucker passed by the hill where he broke an axle eight years ago. Would history repeat itself? Todd started to roll backward. He was stranded, having to figure out a way to get going again. “Not again. Come on,” he said. There came a point where Todd had to break the rules a bit in the area and broke out the chains. It was his only way to make up the hill. Once he reached a safe spot took the chains off. Todd made it back to headquarters with a sense of accomplishment. He officially conquered his “redemption road.”

Lisa Kelly (History Channel)

Meanwhile, Lisa Kelly was on her longest run of the season with 700 miles more back to Muskie Creek from Lac Brochet. She had a $100 bet and bragging rights on the line with Scott “Scooter” Yuill for who could log the most by the end of the season. The “Ice Queen” endured -40 degree temperatures, which created an environment for machinery failure. She chained up the tires to get her up the hill, but the frigid air wasn’t making things easy. The trailer brakes were frozen. Lisa grabbed a hammer for a quick fix, but had to ultimately cage the brakes. She screwed  the bolt manually to compress the spring and hold the brakes open. This worked as Lisa was able to move forward.  “It’s complete survival mode,” Lisa said, describing her problem-solving method. After receiving a massive kudos for a job well done with a new client, she checked in on her horses. “I do this for them,” Lisa said. She got a taste of home with a visit with some local horses.

Scott, at Keewaywin,  loaded up for his own return trip back to Muskie Creek. The crew added a 20,000-pound backhoe, which will be transported on unpredictable terrain over 400 miles. His chain broke on the tires without any more links. He once again turned to the bungie cords to tight things up. “I have to red neck the sh*t out of this,” Scott explained. Day turns to night and would get stuck in a snow bank. “This road is kicking my ass,” he said. Scott radioed  the road crew for help. While waiting he checks in with his wife Kelly. He reflected on the sacrifices being made and the risk involved with the job away from home. The rescue crew pulled him out to get him going again. Scooter arrived at Muskie Creek after “by far the roughest road I’ve been on.” It was then time for rest before he had to do it all over again.

Zach and Riley Harris were on a first solo run without their dad Shaun. With the Harris & Sons owner considered semi-retired, he hoped the two would prove themselves. The duo had to run up steel and appliances across 600 miles to Fond Du Lac. Shaun encouraged them to keep their speed down as, “they’ve had some close calls” in the area. Riley was the more experienced driver and took the lead to instruct Zach when trucks passed them from the other lane. It was a narrow fit all the way. “We almost shared paint jobs,” Riley said during one pass. The traffic was what concerned Riley, especially when you can’t see them coming. At one point, they lost radio communication, which concerned rookie Zach. Riley stopped after figuring out Zach can’t hear him. Zach’s truck blew a fuse in the dashboard, so they replaced it to get the radio operational again. At Lake Athabasca, the trucker bros made the 20-mile ice crossing on their own. It was dicey during some parts, but got through to the other side, which would surely make Shaun  proud.

Harris Dickinson and Frank Dillane on Cannes Breakout ‘Urchin’

by jummy84 October 19, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s hard these days to create an original film from scratch, tougher still to launch a first film in the Cannes Selection. Three actors have achieved that feat this year, all playing in Un Certain Regard, where the spotlight tends to be less harsh: Scarlett Johansson’s “Eleanor the Great,” starring American veteran June Squibb; Kristen Stewart’s “The Chronology of Water,” starring British actress Imogen Poots; and from the U.K., Harris Dickinson‘s “Urchin,” which could propel Frank Dillane (son of British actor Stephen Dillane) into acting awards contention. Two months after the festival’s end, rising distribution outfit 1-2 Special stepped in to buy Dickinson’s film for North America, which is in theaters now.

“The applause was lovely,” said Dickinson, sitting with Dillane on the roof of the J.W. Marriott Hotel with stunning views of the Gulf of Napoule. “We soaked it all in. We had all of our crew. We felt the love in the room. That’s a good feeling, to have given so much to somebody.”

Dickinson, who has yet to crack 30, has been a rising star ever since he broke out in Eliza Hittman’s New York indie “Beach Rats” in 2017, followed by Ruben Östlund’s “Triangle of Sadness,” which won the Palme d’Or en route to a Best Picture nomination. The actor has written and directed countless shorts, which gave financiers confidence to back his riveting portrait of a struggling London addict (Dillane) who is by turns charming, manipulative, desperate, angry, violent, loving, joyful, childlike, and needy.

It still took six years for “Urchin” to get to Cannes. Dickinson started writing the script after working in Walthamstow on an outreach project “that was focusing on furniture reissue with people that were unhoused,” he said. “It was a way for them to make money. And it was also a commune where they could have a safe haven. There were welfare checks, and people close to me struggled with cyclical behavior. I’ve always tried to be compassionate around that and tried to understand why and how people have ended up in certain positions.”

Dickinson auditioned many actors but offered the role to Dillane early on. “I’d seen him in ‘Fear of the Walking Dead’ years before,” said Dickinson. “I was intrigued about him as a performer. But then we didn’t cross paths, or we never met each other. The script for me was one thing. I knew that it needed an actor to come in and elevate it and change it and turn it upside down as well. Because there’s only so much a script takes you, right? And that’s what he did. He was doing tai chi and breathing exercises whilst he was doing the scene: ‘This is very strange, and it’s perfect for the character.’”

It took a couple of years to get made once Dillane was on board. “Frank attached before we had full finance, which is rare for an actor to do,” said Dickinson. “We were lucky that Frank believed in the project enough to just say, ‘Yeah, I’m game.’ And we already were prepping, even though we didn’t know we were going to make it.”

As soon as he read the script, Dillane was eager to jump on board. “I remember I called you because I got the part,” Dillane said to Dickinson, “because I just wanted to say ‘yes’ straight away. I didn’t want there to be any lag, to go through the agents. You were in Berlin, so I was recording ‘Yes, I’ll do it.’ The script lent itself to almost anything. It was a real opportunity to carve out our own narrative, because it was ambiguous as to what the arc was, and it seemed like the arcs completed in each scene. It was almost like Mike had no throughline, and I found that exciting as an actor, to do each scene separate from the next one. He almost lived and breathed now. He was born again, and then he dies again, and then he goes there, and he’s born again. And I loved that about Harris’s script, because it was completely unconventional.”

In one heartbreaking scene, after seven months sober, Mike takes some ketamine with his girlfriend and her parents and is dancing and having a joyous time. He feels like he’s part of the family, everybody’s happy and good, and then he takes too much, and he can’t contain it. He doesn’t know where to stop.

Dillane had played an addict during “Fear the Walking Dead.” “When a character is on drugs at different times,” said Dillane, “I always tend to research the spiritual element of the drug. From researching ‘Fear the Walking Dead,’ the idea about heroin that got me was the idea that your cells are living and dying constantly, so you’re constantly dying and being reborn. That stuck with me a bit with this, the idea of physically continuing to be born and dying.”

The movie works because Dillane makes you care about this deeply flawed yet innocent character. “People that have gone to the brink of behavior,” said Dickinson, “the brink of morality, or brink of themselves, often are also joyous and naïve, because it helps them forget. It’s like an optimism that is in the moment for today.”

“He is innocent,” said Dillane. “That was the core of it. In order for us to be with him and to empathize with him, we have to just forgive him. And the reason we forgive him is he’s a child, he’s innocent, he’s an orphan. He’s not a bad person, just an open window. Harris kept distilling this thing of hope within me. We talked a lot about dignity in Harris. And that allowed the authenticity. So when he’s making a friend, this friend that he’s making is so important to him. When he relapses, it’s like family, ‘Finally, my people, oh, this is OK. Now, this is what we do. Everyone’s just cool.’ Some of us, we can’t do that. Unfortunately, Mike is one of those. It’s like an open window. Once you open it, you can’t close it again.”

Of course, Mike Leigh and “Naked” came to mind while prepping the film, but also “Career Girls” and “High Hopes,” said Dickinson, “there’s no misses with Mike Leigh. I love his use of humor. He’s so good at humanizing the mundane as well. It’s important, because there’s comedy in the simplicity of things sometimes, he does that so well.”

'Urchin'
‘Urchin’

Another reason why Dillane wanted to work with Dickinson was that he admired his short films. “This was a big reason I did it,” said Dillane. Dickinson had been shooting shorts, including a series of skateboard videos, since he was 10 or 11. “I made loads of short films,” he said. “And then I made a more professional short film with BBC that led to the theatrical film. It was quite a rudimentary short, but it was a way for us to try and prove a little bit.”

As production loomed, Dickinson lost one of his actors in a key role playing a friend of Mike’s and reluctantly took on the role himself. “We auditioned people,” said Dickinson. “We got some tapes in, but I got a bit protective over that role because this is a member of the community. This is someone who is struggling, a vulnerable individual. Frank had months and months of research and time spent with advisors to understand this world and these issues. I couldn’t just expect an actor to pop in a week before and get that kind of person, whereas I’d been doing that work.”

It may have been the right decision, but it wasn’t easy, said Dickinson. “It was hard to direct myself and also be in a scene with someone you’re directing, because I started to lose track of the background and what things were happening. And you get even more neurotic; acting is neurotic.”

The film deploys long lens cinematography to capture Dillane on crowded streets. “We always knew we wanted to enter into Mike’s world in a pragmatic and simplistic way, unromantic and not trying to do trickery around life on the streets,” said Dickinson. “We wanted to be observational and simplistic, and that was also to avoid any romanticism around it, but also just to ground it in that community. That was always important to us, and the story that we enter into as well. We believe it and we understand it, and we get a real sense of it. And then we allow ourselves to introduce surrealism, a slightly different language. We earned that.”

Next up: Dillane is back in London doing auditions. (His stock is going to rise considerably after “Urchin.”) And Dickinson is following up “Babygirl” and “Blitz” as John Lennon in Sam Mendes’ series of four Beatles films. Dickinson swears he’ll have time to do other things as well. “I wrote this script whilst I was working,” he said, “I didn’t take time out to write the script. I was always writing. I write when I’m on a plane. I’ll be able to write and direct still. I’ll have to finish the films first.”

Harris Dickinson bemoans ‘completely unacceptable’ remarks

25 September 2025

Harris Dickinson has heard “deeply inappropriate” from some of his female fans.

Harris Dickinson has expressed his frustrations

The 29-year-old actor starred alongside Nicole Kidman in the erotic drama film Babygirl in 2024, and Harris has witnessed a dramatic change in the behaviour of some of his fans.

During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Harris explained: “I think it’s [become] OK to do this to male actors, weirdly, [and] that’s the problem.

“I think it becomes acceptable to do that to younger male actors, whereas if we’re in a conversation [like we are] now, I get a lot of women [chiming in to] say things to me that are deeply inappropriate.”

Harris often heard “completely unacceptable” remarks during the Babygirl press tour. The actor now admits that he struggled to cope with the comments.

He said: “You’re expected to just laugh it off, and I think that’s why I struggled with that experience.

“People could say, ‘Well, you did a film that you knew was going to be somewhat erotic.’ It’s, like, yeah, but the film that we made and the approach that Halina [Reijn, the director] spoke about, for me, was something way more unique. It wasn’t a reductive thing in my mind.

“I guess you can’t control the perception of it, and the way that people want to talk about it and the narrative. It’s a strange thing, and I feel like I’m constantly rejecting that a little bit.”

Earlier this year, Harris explained that he isn’t very comfortable with “being desired”.

Asked if he’s comfortable with “rampant objectification”, Harris told The Independent: “Not very … That was a very quick answer. I mean, I’ll take it with the right filmmaker.

“I’m not really afraid of showing my body and stuff. I was raised to, you know, love yourself, love your body, be proud of it.”

Despite this, Harris felt self-conscious about his appearance during his younger years.

The actor shared: “I was a really chubby boy, right? And I didn’t shed that until I was in my late teens. So I’ve always got that in my mind, and I don’t think that ever leaves you.”

Kamala Harris, In Rachel Maddow Interview, Hails Jimmy Kimmel’s Return

by jummy84 September 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Kamala Harris, in her first news interview since leaving office, hailed ABC’s decision to return Jimmy Kimmel to the air.

Harris told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, “Talk about the power being with the people and the people making that clear with their checkbooks as it relates to the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel. We saw the power of the people over the last few days, and it spoke volumes, it moved a decision in the right direction.”

Harris last week called out companies for caving to the Trump administration.

She wrote on social media, “What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power,” Harris posted. “This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats. We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech.”

Harris sat down with Maddow in studio as the kickoff for her book tour for 107 Days, her account of her truncated presidential campaign last year.

In the interview, Maddow called Harris the “patron saint of ‘I told you so, in terms of people understanding the warnings and predictions about what Trump would be like.” Maddow noted that Harris wrote in the book, “I predicted all of that. I warned of it. What I didn’t predict is the capitulation, the billionaires lining up to grovel, the big media companies, universities, so many major law firms.”

Harris told Maddow, “I always believed that is push came to shove, these titans of industry would be guardrails for our democracy, for the importance of sustaining democratic institutions. And one by one by one, they have been silent. They have been — I use the word feckless. It’s not like they’re going to lose their yacht or their house in the Hamptons.”

The Walt Disney Co. announced earlier that Kimmel would return to the schedule on Tuesday. The network said last week that it was pulling his late-night show indefinitely, amid the furor over a remark he made about MAGA’s effort to define the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The network’s announcement came after a warning from the chairman of the FCC, Brendan Carr, and a statement from station group Nexstar, which said that it was pulling the show from its ABC affiliates.

Harris referred to Donald Trump as a “tyrant,” and talked not only about the administration’s pressure on Disney over Kimmel, but the president’s efforts to install loyalists as U.S. attorneys to prosecute his opponents.

“Perhaps it is because they want to please him and nominate him for a Nobel Prize,” Harris said of corporate leaders. “Perhaps it’s because they want a merger approved, or they want to avoid an investigation, but at some point they’ve got to stand up for the sake of the people who rely on all of these institutions to have integrity, and to at some point be the guardrails against a tyrant who is using the federal government to execute his whim and fancy because of a fragile ego.”

Harris’ book already has generated headlines for what she wrote about Joe Biden‘s decision to run for reelection and stay in the presidential race until July, 2024. In an excerpt that ran in The Atlantic earlier the month, Harris wrote, “‘It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.’ We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized. Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high. This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.”

On Maddow’s show, Harris said, “I realized that I have and had a certain responsibility that I should have followed through on. And so when I talk about the recklessness, as much as anything I am talking about myself. There was so much, as we know, at stake. As I write, where my head was at the time is that … it would come off as completely self serving.”

Maddow asked whether she meant telling Biden that it was not a good idea for him to run again.

“Or even if he should question if it is a good idea,” Harris said.

Maddow also asked Harris if she would consider running in 2028, but she didn’t give away much in terms of her future plans.

“That’s not my focus right now. That’s not my focus, at all,” Harris said. “It really isn’t.”

The book, Maddow said, is surprisingly candid. She referenced Harris’ revelations of text messages she got from other top Democrats after Biden dropped out and she got into the presidential race. Gavin Newsom wrote, “Hiking. Will call back.” “He never did,” Harris wrote.

“Gavin has a great sense of humor, so he is going to be fine,” Harris told Maddow. The former vice president said that Newsom’s redistricting effort, which will be on California’s November ballot, is “absolutely the right way to go.”

The measure is a response to Texas’ move to draw new district boundaries in order to make it more probable that Republicans will pick up five additional seats in next year’s midterm elections. Opponents of California’s Proposition 50 say that the way to respond should not be to suspend California’s redistricting commission, set up to try to take politics out of the process.

Harris disagreed.

“Part of what we have got to challenge ourselves to accept is that we tend to play by the rules. But this is a moment where you have got to fire with fire,” she said.

Calvin Harris Says Financial Adviser Stole $22M Via Real Estate Fraud

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Calvin Harris is taking legal action against his longtime financial adviser for allegedly duping him into investing $22.5 million in a doomed real estate project “to simply steal” funds from the star DJ.

The allegations are revealed in new court documents filed Friday (Sept. 12) by Harris (Adam Wiles) against Thomas St. John, the Scottish music producer’s financial adviser of over a decade. Harris filed a petition to enforce a temporary injunction in his ongoing arbitration against St. John, and in the process, publicized the details of that private arbitration, which has been taking place behind closed doors since June.

Harris’ June 28 arbitration demand, obtained by Billboard, levels more than a dozen civil claims against St. John and a group of alleged co-conspirators, including breach of contract, fraud and malpractice.

“Out of necessity, Mr. Wiles surrounds himself with professionals, including TSJ, in whom Mr. Wiles placed his trust to ensure his earnings are protected, his investments are smart, and his family and future are secure,” reads the arbitration demand. “However, instead of acting in Mr. Wiles’s best interests, TSJ and the other respondents completely and absolutely breached that trust.”

According to the documents, St. John bought a tract of land in Hollywood in 2021 with plans to develop a recording studio and creative office space. Harris says St. John later became strapped for cash and took advantage of their relationship to sign $22.5 million over to the project in the DJ’s name in 2023.

Of this $22.5 million investment, $10 million was in the form of a loan, which St. John allegedly never paid back. The other $12.5 million was an equity stake in the real estate project — but Harris says this investment “has been, at best, a complete boondoggle, and, at worst, a complete fraud.”

“Mr. Wiles has not received a single penny in return for that investment, and, indeed, respondents have not even started developing or building the project,” reads the arbitration demand. “In fact, shortly after Mr. Wiles purportedly made this $12.5 million investment, TSJ … distributed over $11 million dollars to himself.”

Harris says he has “no idea what exactly happened” with his money. According to the petition, St. John has since shifted the focus of his real estate project away from a recording studio and toward a residential development.

In early August, retired judge Michael R. Wilner was appointed to oversee the dispute as an arbitrator. Harris and St. John agreed on a temporary injunction that freezes certain assets while the matter is litigated, leading Harris to file the court petition on Friday seeking to confirm and enforce this injunction.

A lawyer for St. John, Sasha Frid, says in a statement provided to Billboard on Monday (Sept. 15) that his client “denies any wrongdoing” and that Harris “actively pursued” an investment in the Hollywood real estate project.

“Unhappy with the pace of the project, he chose to pursue private arbitration to assert his discontent,” says Frid. “It’s no secret that due to interest rates and other market factors real estate projects are taking longer to build. But the development is very much viable and expected to have a $900+ million valuation when completed.”

Reps for Harris did not immediately return a request for comment.

Calvin Harris has been announced as the first headliner for Creamfields 2026 – find all the details below.

Next year’s edition of the electronic music festival will take place across the August Bank Holiday Weekend, celebrating 20 years at its home in Daresbury, Cheshire.

Harris is set to top the bill on the Arc Stage on Saturday August 29. The BRIT and Grammy-award-winning DJ and producer last headlined in 2023, and has made numerous appearances at the event.

“He has delivered some of the most iconic and talked about performances in Creamfields history,” organisers wrote, “making his return for this milestone edition even more fitting.”

Creamfields 2026 is scheduled to run from Thursday August 27 until Sunday August 30. Tickets are on sale now – you can buy yours here.

The festival will “welcome 80,000 fans from across the globe for four days of groundbreaking production, a world-class line-up and the electric atmosphere that has cemented its position as the highlight of the dance music calendar”.

“With unbeatable lineups, legendary moments, and 20 years of Creamfields magic at Daresbury, Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields 2026 is set to be a celebration like no other,” organisers added.

More acts are due to be confirmed in the coming months. Check out the announcement post above.

Creamfields 2025 was headlined by Chase & Status, Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta.

Harris released his latest single, ‘Ocean’ (featuring Jessie Reyez), last Friday (September 5). The song was initially meant to be a collaboration with Miley Cyrus. However, the Scottish producer recently cited “crossed wires” as the reason for the shelved team-up. “My bad,” he said.

‘Ocean’ followed on from ‘Blessings’ (feat. Clementine Douglas) and the country-inspired ‘Smoke The Pain Away’ – the latter of which boasts vocals from Harris himself.

Over the summer, Harris posted photos of his wife Vick Hope’s placenta to announce the birth of the couple’s baby son.

Last year’s BRIT Awards saw Harris win the Dance Act prize. His 2023 hit single with Ellie Goulding, ‘Miracle’, was also nominated for Song Of The Year. The pair have since joined forces again on the track ‘Free’.
