Fifth Harmony Cheers on Lauren Jauregui’s ‘DWTS’ Performance

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Lauren Jauregui had her Fifth Harmony sisters by her side at Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night.

“It’s amazing that nine years later that this song is still going crazy,” Jauregui said, before adding of her bandmates: “They’re the best. Thank you, girls, for being here! I love you.”

Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Normani watched on while Jauregui cha-cha’d to the group’s hit “Work From Home” with partner Brandon Armstrong to celebrate the show’s TikTok Night.

Jauregui and Armstrong wore yellow to match the construction-site aesthetic of the group’s viral music video. The stage mirrored that theme, with backup dancers in hard hats and construction gear. After finishing the routine, Jauregui walked over to join Ally, Dinah, and Normani — along with the group’s choreographer, Sean Bankhead — at a nearby table.

“I’ve been doing Fifth Harmony’s choreography for years, so introducing new dance moves to it is hard,” said Jauregui in a preview sequence to their dance. Jauregui ended up scorring 18 points out of 30 possible for her dance.

This isn’t the first time Fifth Harmony has made its mark on DWTS. Back in 2017, Normani competed on Season 24 and finished in third place, with the group performing “Impossible” as Normani danced the rumba to the ballad that launched the group’s career. Two years later, Ally Brooke joined Season 28, also landing in third. She kicked off the competition by dancing to “Work From Home” on opening night.

Before any of its members competed on DWTS, Fifth Harmony also performed “All in My Head (Flex)” during the finale of Season 23 in 2016 and “Worth It” during the finale of Season 22 in 2015.

“Normani and Ally both are so sweet, so excited for me,” Jauregui previously told People. “Normani was just like, ‘Have so much fun. Take it a step at a time, and just be as present as possible and enjoy it because it goes by really fast.’ And she was not wrong. This is so fast.”

Also competing with Jauregui on Season 34 of DWTS are Boy Meets World‘s Danielle Fishel, Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles, Hilaria Baldwin, Alix Earle, and Dylan Efron.

Why Did Camila Cabello Leave Fifth Harmony? Find Out – Hollywood Life

A possible Fifth Harmony reunion was not in anyone’s 2025 bingo card, but lo and behold, the famous group’s reunion is rumored to be underway — yes, without Camila Cabello. This rang true when the remaining four members performed at an August 31, 2025, Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas, Texas, to perform “Worth It” and “Work From Home.” Camila’s absence from the group’s reunion comes as no surprise since the “Señorita” hitmaker left Fifth Harmony in 2016, which, at the time, seemingly caused a rift between her and them. No one could ever forget when the group had a Camila lookalike body double jump offstage at the 2017 VMAs. Moreover, Camila is currently on a world tour.

So, why did Camila leave Fifth Harmony in 2016? Below, we’re breaking it all down for you.

Did Fifth Harmony Reunite in 2025?

Yes, the remaining four members of Fifth Harmony — Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui — reunited for one night during a Jonas Brothers tour concert in Texas in August 2025.

Previously, The Hollywood Reporter, reported that the band members were in talks to reunite sometime this year.

Why Did Camila Cabello Leave Fifth Harmony?

Camila’s overall reason for leaving Fifth Harmony was to pursue a solo career. During a March 2024 interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the “Cry for Me” artist recalled how she gradually “started distancing” herself from Fifth Harmony.

“I can remember waking up on tour, and going to my hotel room at like 7 a.m. and going to my garage band, and like writing songs, ’cause I didn’t want to do it while everybody was there, and I had such a passion that turned into writing,” Camila explained. “And at first I was like, ‘Oh maybe I wanna write for other people.’ But then it turned into like, ‘No, actually I want to sing these songs by myself.’ … I started distancing myself from the group vision, and it felt like you know they were still really passionate and into that and so, I was just like, ‘I’m not happy here anymore, it doesn’t feel aligned.’”

Nevertheless, Camila pointed out that she “grew a lot in that group” and she remains grateful for her time with them.

Is Camila Cabello Still Friends With Fifth Harmony?

Camila revealed in 2022 that she was in a “good place” with the rest of her former bandmates. At the time, she told Reuters that they were “supportive of each other through, like, DMs and stuff.”

Is Fifth Harmony Back Together? The Group’s Future After 2025 Reunion – Hollywood Life

Fifth Harmony reunited for the first time since 2018 on August 31, 2025, at a Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas, Texas. The performance — which featured current members Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui singing “Worth It” and “Work From Home” — caused an uproar among fans, who are hoping that Fifth Harmony is officially back together. So, is it true — did the famous all-female group reunite?

Below, Hollywood Life is unpacking what we know so far about Fifth Harmony’s future.

What Happened to Fifth Harmony?

Fifth Harmony never disbanded, but the members have been on hiatus since 2018 while they pursued solo projects. After Camila Cabello left the band in 2016, the group forged ahead without her. Since then, fans have called for the band to change its name to “Fourth Harmony” considering they have four members now.

“Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X-Factor, we’ve realized just how far we’ve come and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever,” Fifth Harmony’s 2018 hiatus announcement read. “We’ve really had one hell of a memorable journey together and can’t begin to express our gratitude to y’all for coming along with us on this wild ride! … After six years going hard, non-stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors.”

Is Fifth Harmony Back Together?

Not at the moment since none of the current members of Fifth Harmony has confirmed a formal reunion. However, they reignited the rumors when Lauren, Normani, Ally and Dinah performed “Worth It” and “Work From Home” during the Jonas Brothers’ August 2025 Greetings From Your Hometown Tour concert in Dallas, Texas.

“Where were you on August 31, 2025?” the group captioned a social media post after their surprise performance. “Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back.” Fifth Harmony fans clamored over the caption acknowledging that they were “back,” but they were likely referring to their Jonas Brothers concert performance.

Nevertheless, the group updated its website to feature new merchandise: a T-shirt and hoodie that read, “Where Were You on August 31, 2025?”

Earlier this year, insiders told The Hollywood Reporter that the current Fifth Harmony members were planning something for 2026 amid the 10th anniversary of 7/27. The sources told the publication that the women were working on a documentary on their return, which would include footage on a tour that has yet to be announced. Ally’s husband, Will Bracey, is leading the group’s endeavors, THR reported.

Why Did Camila Cabello Leave Fifth Harmony?

Camila left Fifth Harmony to pursue a solo career. After releasing her debut solo single, “Crying in the Club,” in 2017, Camila’s music reached global fame. She later won the Video Music Award for Best Video for her hit track “Havana.”

Camila’s departure from Fifth Harmony created quite a stir among fans. Both sides had contradicting statements regarding her exit, and the band added more fuel to the fire when they had a fifth stand-in purposely fall off the stage at the 2017 MTV VMAs.

The “Señorita” hitmaker later appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in March 2024 to explain why she “started distancing” herself from Fifth Harmony.

“I can remember waking up on tour, and going to my hotel room at like 7 a.m. and going to my garage band, and like writing songs, ’cause I didn’t want to do it while everybody was there, and I had such a passion that turned into writing,” Camila said. “And, at first I was like, ‘Oh maybe I wanna write for other people.’ But then it turned into like, ‘No, actually I want to sing these songs by myself.’ … I started distancing myself from the [group’s] vision, and it felt like, you know, they were still really passionate and into that and so, I was just like, ‘I’m not happy here anymore, it doesn’t feel aligned.’”

Despite leaving the group, Camila has maintained that she and Ally, Lauren, Normani and Dinah had no more bad blood. In 2022, the pop singer told Reuters that they were “supportive of each other through, like, DMs and stuff.”

Is Fifth Harmony Reuniting After Their Jonas Brothers Concert Performance? The Rumors, Explained

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Say thank you to the Jonas Brothers, Harmonizers. On August 31, the band brought Fifth Harmony to perform together for the first time in seven years. Well, four out of five of them, at least.

Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui reunited during the Jonas Brothers’ JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour concert in Dallas, performing two of their group’s biggest hits, “Work From Home” and “Worth It.” However, the girl group—which originally formed on The X Factor in 2012 and went on hiatus in 2018—was missing one member: Camila Cabello.

Now, many Fifth Harmony fans are convinced this was not a one-off surprise performance, but a hint that the group may be planning a Jonas Brothers-esque resurgence. After all, the siblings disbanded in 2013 due to creative differences before reuniting with their hit single “Sucker” in 2019.

So, why do fans think Fifth Harmony may be returning with or without Camila Cabello? Here’s what we know—and what the streets are saying about it.

Camila Cabello exited the band in 2016.

Prior to the band’s official split, Cabello exited the girl group in 2016. “I started distancing myself from the group vision, and it felt like, you know, they were still really passionate and into that and so, I was just like, ‘I’m not happy here anymore, it doesn’t feel aligned,’” Cabello told Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper in 2024. “I can remember waking up on tour and going to my hotel room at, like, 7 a.m. and going to my garage band and, like, writing songs, cause I didn’t want to do it while everybody was there and I had such a passion that turned into writing.”

The group continued performing without Cabello until 2018, when they announced they were taking a break to “pursue solo endeavors.”

Watch Fifth Harmony Reunite at a Jonas Brothers Concert

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Fifth Harmony reunited last night to make a surprise guest appearance at a Jonas Brothers concert, validating longstanding rumors that the group was set to make a return. Camila Cabello, who left the band in 2016, was, as expected, not part of the reunion, but Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane linked up to play “Worth It” and “Work From Home.” Watch fan footage of the whole appearance below, as well as a clip on Fifth Harmony’s social media.

Fifth Harmony went on hiatus in 2018, a few months after releasing their self-titled album. Normani, of course, embarked on what seemed to be a promising solo career—her debut album, Dopamine, arrived last year—and her bandmates Brooke and Jane sparked reunion hopes by collaborating on a cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” in 2023. The band apparently made progress on reunion talks this year, with dates mooted for 2026. Though that remains unconfirmed, the band has released merch reading “Where were you on August 31, 2025?” with a new Fifth Harmony logo, suggesting more activity may be imminent.

Fifth Harmony Reunites After 7 Years at Jonas Brothers Concert

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Fifth Harmony are back! On Sunday night, the iconic girl group reunited after seven years to join the Jonas Brothers onstage during their concert in Dallas.

Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui — in matching black outfits — emerged from behind smoke to the tune of “Worth It,” for a choreography-filled comeback. The girls then transitioned into “Work From Home,” as the crowd watched in surprise.

Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas then took the stage to hug each of the group’s members. Fifth Harmony also debuted a new logo.

The four-piece reunion comes after two years of speculation that the group was considering getting back together, especially after their songs “Work From Home” and “All in My Head” saw huge resurgences on TikTok. (Rolling Stone shut down reunion rumors last year, but there has since been new speculation.)

Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016, was missing from Sunday night’s performance. She wouldn’t have been able to attend regardless, as she had a solo show in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, the Fifth Harmony X account reactivated by posting “#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree.” Jane also shared an Instagram post alluding to the return, “The impossible is possible. Full of gratitude today.” The group’s website was also updated to say “coming soon.”

Most recently, Brooke, Jane, and Jauregui shared photos of themselves on a tropical vacation to celebrate Brooke’s 32nd birthday. (Jauregui later shared that Normani was busy with work and had to miss the trip.)

While Sunday night’s show is the first time all the members reunited since their indefinite hiatus in 2018, Brooke joined Jane onstage at her November 2024 show in Los Angeles to sing Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together.” The pair also recorded a Christmas duet.

Editor’s picks

“We hadn’t seen each other in five years, and it was like we didn’t ever leave,” Brooke told Rolling Stone in December 2023 when discussing their holiday collab.

“Music is very healing,” Jane added at the time. “Collaborating again and starting from scratch would be a very big healer as well. This planted the seed for us, I would say.”

The members of Fifth Harmony have been friendly with each other over the last few years. All of the group’s members (including Cabello) shared tributes for the 10th anniversary of the group’s formation in 2022, and came together to congratulate Normani for dropping her debut album last summer. Most recently, Cabello shared videos of herself dancing to Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” with girl group Katseye, and said in December 2024 that she and Normani were “getting back” to feeling like when they were “really close.”

Fifth Harmony originally formed in 2012 on The X-Factor USA. The girl group dropped their debut album Reflection in 2015 (featuring songs like “Worth It” and “Sledgehammer”), and released their second LP, 7/27, following the massive success of “Work From Home,” in 2016. At the end of that same year, Cabello left the group.

As a four-piece, Fifth Harmony went on to release one more album, titled Fifth Harmony. They then announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018, and gave fans. a post-split video for their song “Don’t Say You Love Me,” which ended with each member exiting a door left open, alluding to the possibility of a return.

For their part, the Jonas Brothers kicked off their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour on Aug. 10 in New Jersey, and have brought out special guests at each show. During their Aug. 10 concert in New Jersey, the band brought out Demi Lovato for a Camp Rock reunion and Jesse McCartney for “Beautiful Soul.” Since then, they’ve welcomed All Time Low, JoJo, Hanson, and Russell Dickerson as guests at various shows.

Sunday night’s performance, which featured the 5H reunion, is one of five Jonas20 concerts that will stream live on Samsung TV Plus. The band’s concerts on Oct. 12 in Milwaukee, Oct. 26 in Orlando, and Nov. 9 in Buffalo, will also stream live on the platform.
