Actress and former model Somi Ali, who was once in a relationship with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has once again made explosive allegations against him. In her latest video shared on Instagram, Somi accused the actor of harassing and threatening her even in 2025, claiming that she continues to face bullying from him decades after their breakup. In the viral video, Somi Ali alleges that Salman Khan is still interfering in her life and trying to defame her and her NGO, No More Tears.

The organization, based in the United States, works to help survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Somi said in the video, “Salman Khan is after my life. He won’t leave me alone. Salman is bullying me even in 2025.” She further claimed that she received a threatening call from an unknown number, allegedly from Salman himself. According to Somi, the actor told her, “If you say anything about me, you’ll see what I do to you.”

Somi went on to say that Salman had her boycotted from Bollywood, claiming that people in the film industry have distanced themselves from her due to his influence. “No one in the industry talks to me anymore. All the friends I had there have now cut ties. Now Salman has started doing the same thing in Hollywood too. This man’s TRPs and ratings are all fake. He has lost everything, yet he won’t leave me alone,” she alleged.

Somi Ali also revisited details of her past relationship with Salman Khan, saying that their romance ended because of his alleged infidelity. The actress claimed, “I broke up with Salman in 1998 because he cheated on me. He’s still harassing me in 2025.” She added that Salman has been meeting her step-sister and nephew in Dubai, not out of care or affection, but to provoke and hurt her emotionally. Somi said, “He’s doing this to get back at me. He already questioned my character in Mumbai. Now he’s trying to emotionally manipulate me by involving my family.”

While the hype to watch the finale season of Stranger Things is at an all time high ever since the trailer premiered, the Netflix series is making the headlines today for an all together different and not-do-pleasant reason. As per multiple reports, ‘Eleven/El’ Millie Bobby Brown has accused co-star David Harbour of harassment and bullying on the sets of the finale season. For those who do not know, Harbour essays the role of Hawkin’s Chief of Police and Eleven’s father figure in the scientific, horror drama created by the Duffer Brothers. Read on to know all about the accusations.

Millie Bobby Brown Accuses David Harbour Of Harassment On Stranger Things 5 Sets

According to reports by Daily Mail and Radar Online, Millie has submitted extensive complaints against David Harbour, alleging harassment during the filming of Stranger Things Season 5. The allegations revolve around claims of bullying and professional misconduct on set rather than sexual harassment.

As per The Daily Mail, Brown submitted the complaint before production on the final season began. Harbour, who plays the beloved police chief Jim Hopper, was subsequently subject to an internal review by the streaming giant. The publication quoted a source saying, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint before filming the last season. The complaints were numerous, spanning pages. The investigation lasted for months.”

The results of the probe have not been made public, as per reports. The platform, however, is still to issue an official statement addressing the matter.

Apart from Brown, David Harbour’s ex-wife, Lily Allen, has also reportedly filed a complaint of harassment against the actor.

'Terrifier' Actress Claims Breach of Contract, Sexual Harassment

‘Terrifier’ Actress Claims Breach of Contract, Sexual Harassment

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

Catherine Corcoran, the actress whose brutal death scene in “Terrifier” (2016) helped make the smash-hit horror franchise a success, has sued filmmaker Damien Leone and producers for breach of contract. The case was filed in a California federal court on Sunday, beginning legal proceedings that will determine whether Corcoran has been wrongly denied her fair share of profits.

The lawsuit also alleges extreme working conditions, a broken SAG-AFTRA agreement, and on-set sexual harassment — naming producer Phil Falcone in a reported incident that Corcoran says involved Falcone photographing her nude without her consent while she was trapped in a special effects rig.

IndieWire

“Were it not for Corcoran’s willingness to take a risk on this production and receive her compensation on the back-end, the series would not exist as it could not have been made on a shoe-string budget otherwise,” the plaintiff’s filing argued. “When it came time to pay what was owed, the producers chose to cheat her. This injustice must be rectified.”

An attorney for Leone told The Hollywood Reporter (which broke this story), “Damien and Phil deny the claims in the complaint and will vigorously defend this lawsuit.” Neither responded to IndieWire’s request for comment.

Corcoran claims she’s entitled to 1 percent of proceeds from a backend deal that covers ticket sales for all three films in the series — as well as any money made from the licensing and use of “Terrifier” IP. To date, the actress says she’s been paid less than $8,400 for her contribution to the killer clown icon.

“Terrifier 2” and “Terrifier 3” were distributed theatrically by Cineverse, and the franchise has a lifetime gross of more than $106 million at the box office. The suit lists major brand names in horror, including Spirit Halloween and Hot Topic, as proof of the artistic success Corcoran’s scene helped spark. Dawn’s death is currently featured as part of the walk-through “Terrifier” attraction at Halloween Horror Nights.

“The producers of the film paid Corcoran her royalties for a brief period of time several years after the release of the film, but when the film series’ success started to grow exponentially and exceeded the producer’s original expectations, the royalty payments became more and more sporadic and dwindled to amounts nowhere near commensurate with the revenues generated,” read the complaint, which also lists Dark Age Cinema, Fuzz on the Lens Productions, and the Art the Clown trademark as defendants.

Among the first victims of Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton), Corcoran sys she played Dawn — notoriously vivisected from crotch to cranium, while the actress was suspended upside-down — for just $100 a day. Corcoran’s performance reportedly fell under a special SAG contract for ultra low budget performers that, coupled with the terms of a mutual nondisclosure agreement Corcoran’s team has submitted as evidence, lead her to believe she would be compensated more robustly if the $35,000 film became a success. The suit claims Corcoran was later told Falcone “didn’t keep records.”

“The low-budget nature of the production carried over into the working conditions on set, including long hours in below freezing temperatures in condemned buildings, all without heat and some without bathrooms,” continued the complaint. “The so-called ‘practical effects’ that made ‘Terrifier’ so compelling on screen involved the director placing prosthetics with actual rat feces on Corcoran’s skin and real duct tape over her mouth.”

“Further, when creating the silicone mold for Corcoran’s body cast, the producers of the film required Corcoran to lie nude on a piece of plywood while she was covered with a quick-drying liquid silicone agent,” the court document said. “However, the process was done incorrectly and the silicone dried and essentially glued Corcoran to the plywood, requiring a long, painful process to remove the dried silicone from her body. To make matters worse, Falcone took numerous still photographs of Corcoran’s nude body while she was glued to the plywood sheet without her consent.”

The case further challenges the terms of Corcoran’s employment on “Terrifer,” arguing that Leone and producers never got her written approval for the nude scene as required by SAG. The actress claims that Leone, Falcone, and more “Terrifier” contributors have continued to profit off the unauthorized use of her nude image by using it to sell products. Corcoran says the sawing scene for “Terrifier” took ten hours to shoot and caused blood to pool in her head, resulting in reported cranial swelling and eardrum damage.

The public disagreement comes on the heels of more “Terrifier” controversy, involving the treatment of sequel stars Lauren LaVera and David Howard Thornton earlier this year. Neither actor has commented on the case. Production on “Terrifier 4” has not yet started and the film does not have a distributor.

Alisha Chinai Recalls Industry Isolation After Sexual Harassment Case Against Anu Malik

Alisha Chinai Recalls Industry Isolation After Sexual Harassment Case Against Anu Malik

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Singer Alisha Chinai, one of the most prominent voices of the 1990s Indian pop scene, has revisited one of the most difficult chapters of her life — her 1996 sexual harassment case against music composer Anu Malik. In a recent interview with Zoom, the Made in India singer revealed how speaking out cost her dearly, both professionally and personally, as she was shunned by much of the industry soon after taking legal action.

Alisha shared that she was initially reluctant to take the matter to court, but it was her then-husband and manager, Rajesh Jhaveri, who urged her to speak up and stand her ground. “I believe they dismissed it outright. Ultimately, it’s a man’s domain, sadly. Well, it used to be. Now, it’s a woman’s domain,” she said. “At that time, I was married, and my former husband Rajesh was also overseeing much of my career. He was quite supportive of my perspective.”

At the height of her fame, Alisha had collaborated extensively with Anu Malik, delivering a number of hit songs that defined the era. However, once she filed the case, her work offers began to dry up rapidly. “A lot of my work just stopped,” she said, adding that no one from the film or music industry came forward to support her. “But I told myself, forget it — it didn’t bother me that they isolated me.”

Despite the professional setback, Alisha maintained her resilience and chose to rebuild her life quietly. Years later, she and Anu Malik found themselves crossing paths again — this time on a film project. In 2003, they reunited for Ishq Vishk, a film starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, which featured the popular track Chot Dil Pe Lagi. The two would later appear together as judges on Indian Idol, a collaboration that surprised many given their fraught history.

Addressing that unexpected reconciliation, Alisha explained that it came only after Anu Malik personally apologised to her. “He did apologise, and I accepted it. Everyone makes mistakes,” she said, noting that she wanted to move forward and not let the bitterness of the past define her.

However, the story did not end there. When the #MeToo movement swept through India in 2018, several women in the entertainment industry came forward with similar allegations of misconduct against Anu Malik. Many of them reached out to Alisha for support, recalling her case as one of the earliest instances of a woman in Indian music taking a stand against harassment. Though initially hesitant, Alisha eventually spoke up in solidarity with the new wave of survivors. “I believed them,” she said, adding that she understood all too well the price that often comes with speaking out.

Alisha’s recollection serves as a reminder of the deeply entrenched gender power imbalance that existed in the entertainment industry in the 1990s. “At that time, it was still very much a man’s world. You didn’t have platforms, you didn’t have social media. You just had to face the consequences alone,” she noted.

A Pioneer of Indian Pop

Despite the challenges she faced, Alisha Chinai’s contribution to Indian music remains undeniable. A leading figure of the Indipop movement, she broke barriers with her 1995 album Made in India, composed by Biddu, which became one of the highest-selling pop records in the country. The album not only cemented her status as the “Queen of Indipop” but also redefined how female pop artists were perceived in India.

Over her decades-long career, Alisha collaborated with leading composers like Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, and Anu Malik, lending her distinctive voice to numerous Bollywood hits, from Kajra Re to Tinka Tinka. Known for her bold, trendsetting persona, she paved the way for a generation of female artists who followed.

Today, Alisha’s reflections offer a rare glimpse into the courage it took to stand up against systemic wrongs in a time when few dared to do so. While she admits the journey was isolating, her resilience and honesty continue to inspire — a reminder that truth, even when silenced, finds its echo years later.

Jason Derulo Accuser Re-Files Sexual Harassment Claims in New York

Jason Derulo Accuser Re-Files Sexual Harassment Claims in New York

by jummy84 September 20, 2025
written by jummy84

A singer who claims Jason Derulo sexually harassed her and then turned “deeply hostile” when she rebuffed his advances has resurrected her previously dismissed lawsuit against the platinum-selling artist and Atlantic Records by filing it in New York.

Emaza Gibson, known professionally as Emaza Dilan, first sued Derulo and Atlantic in October 2023 in Los Angeles, but a California judge dismissed the complaint last year, ruling that Gibson had signed artist agreements with clauses agreeing that all legal disputes would be confined to New York courts. Gibson’s new lawsuit, filed Thursday in Manhattan state court, includes the same allegations but now cites New York laws for her claims of discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, breach of contract, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“This case arises out of a recording deal gone wrong due to egregious sexual harassment, broken promises, and retaliatory career sabotage,” the new 49-page lawsuit obtained by Rolling Stone alleges. “What began as a dream opportunity quickly descended into a nightmare of quid pro quo sexual harassment and intimidation.”

In the new complaint, Gibson, 27, alleges that Derulo reached out to her via direct message in August 2021 and said he wanted to sign her for his new joint venture linking Atlantic Records with his own label, Future History. Gibson claims Derulo, 35, promised he would personally mentor her and collaborate with her on multiple albums, which caused her to feel “over the moon” at the prospect of Derulo “leveraging his star power to boost her introduction to the market.”

Gibson says the professional relationship took an unexpected turn when Derulo allegedly pressured her to drink alcohol with him during late-night meetings and purportedly made sexually explicit comments to her on Nov. 2, 2021. She claims Derulo told her that if she wanted to “make it” in the music industry, she would have to take part in what the lawsuit describes as “ritualistic sex acts.” Gibson says she made it clear she wasn’t interested, and Derulo “became increasingly disinterested and aloof” after that.

Editor’s picks

Lawyers for Derulo, Future History, Atlantic, and Derulo’s longtime manager, Frank Harris, did not respond to requests for comment. Derulo previously denied Gibson’s claims against him, stating in an Instagram post that the allegations were “completely false and hurtful.”

With her refiled lawsuit, Gibson clearly is not backing down. “Derulo exploited his power, implying that plaintiff’s success was conditioned on participating in degrading sexual rituals and cocaine use,” the New York complaint states. “When plaintiff resisted Derulo’s advances and later complained about his misconduct, defendants retaliated by withdrawing support, stalling her music releases, and ultimately terminating her contract under pretextual circumstances.”

The lawsuit further alleges Derulo “physically intimidated” Gibson “by lunging at her and screaming in her face without provocation.” Gibson claims Derulo “deliberately sabotaged her dream and career when she didn’t submit to him sexually, an abuse of power that likely any reasonable member of the community would find despicable.”

Speaking with Rolling Stone when she first filed her claims in 2023, Gibson said her alleged experience with Derulo dashed her dreams. “This is super devastating for me. [Professional singing] is something I always wanted to do since I was a little girl. Jason was one of my favorite artists on the pop scene. I accept this amazing offer only to find out the person I looked up to would put me through such a traumatic situation,” she said.

Trending Stories

“We are fully committed to defending Jason’s innocence against these blatantly false and baseless claims. If these false accusations are refiled in New York, we are confident that the New York court will ultimately dismiss the case and prove Jason’s innocence. The court was correct in dismissing the lawsuit in California,” Derulo’s legal team said in a statement to Rolling Stone last year, after the case was fully dismissed in Los Angeles.

In his Instagram statement, Derulo said he stood “against all forms of harassment” and remained “committed to supporting people following their dreams” in the entertainment industry. “I’ve always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that’s why I sit here before you deeply offended by these defamatory claims,” he said.
