HOLLYWOOD HUSTLER: ‘47 RONIN’ DIRECTOR CARL RINSCH GUILTY OF SCAMMING NETFLIX OUT OF $11M!

by jummy84 December 13, 2025
written by jummy84

You know what they say about Hollywood—it’s all smoke and mirrors. But it looks like one director just got caught trying to sell the smoke without ever building the fire.

We’re talking about Carl Rinsch, the guy behind the camera for Keanu Reeves’ 47 Ronin. Federal prosecutors in New York just handed him a reality check, finding him guilty of wire fraud and money laundering.

Here’s the tea: Rinsch finessed Netflix out of $11 million for a sci-fi show called White Horse that—get this—never even existed. That’s right. A phantom show.

While Netflix thought they were cutting checks to finish production, Rinsch was out here living his best life, treating the production budget like his own personal piggy bank.

The Ultimate Finesse

According to the Feds, Netflix had already dropped $44 million on this guy’s project. But Rinsch came back around, hat in hand, claiming he needed another $11 mil to wrap things up.

Did that money go to the crew? The actors? The CGI budget? Nope.

Prosecutors say Rinsch funneled that cash straight into his personal accounts. He tried to flip it on the stock market and lost half of it in a couple of months. Then, he decided to roll the dice on crypto—and actually made some profit. But instead of paying Netflix back, he cashed out and went on a shopping spree that would make a rapper blush.

Rolls-Royces and… Million Dollar Mattresses?!

This is where it gets wild. Rinsch didn’t just buy a nice watch. He bought five Rolls-Royces and a Ferrari. He dropped $652,000 on luxury watches and designer clothes.

But here’s the kicker that has everyone scratching their heads: Rinsch spent nearly $1 MILLION on mattresses and luxury bedding.

“He bought two mattresses for about $638,000 and spent another $295,000 on luxury bedding and linens.”

You read that right. This man was sleeping on a fortune while scamming one of the biggest media companies in the world. He also used the stolen loot to pay off $1.8 million in credit card debt.

The “Artist” Defense

Rinsch’s lawyer tried to spin this, saying the verdict sets a “dangerous precedent for artists” involved in creative disputes. Please. Since when is buying six exotic cars and million-dollar sheets a “creative dispute”?

US Attorney Jay Clayton wasn’t buying it either. He said Rinsch “took $11m meant for a TV show and gambled it on speculative stock options and crypto transactions.”

Rinsch is looking at sentencing in April. Looks like he’s going to be trading those $600k mattresses for a steel cot in a federal cell.

Now, you tell me—how does someone spend $1 million on a bed? Drop a dime in the comments!

written by jummy84

A Tampa jury found Alicia Andrews guilty of manslaughter in the 2024 death of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio. After an eight-day trial, the jury also found her not guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. The manslaughter conviction is a lesser charge than the first-degree murder count she was initially facing.

Alicia Andrews Convicted of Manslaughter, Not First-Degree Murder

Alicia Andrews was found guilty of manslaughter rather than first-degree murder in the 2024 killing of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones. According to FOX 13 News, prosecutors said Andrews and her boyfriend, Isaiah Chance, drove from Jacksonville to Tampa with three others to target Foolio as part of an ongoing gang dispute. Investigators said Andrews helped track and follow the rapper, and that the group used her phone and vehicle to avoid police detection.

However, Andrews’ defense attorneys argued she did not know the murder plot, claiming she was only accompanying her boyfriend, whom she described as controlling and abusive. Andrews is the first of five suspects charged in Foolio’s death to face trial. The four co-defendants, Chance, Sean Gathright, Davion Murphy, and Rashad Murphy, are scheduled to stand trial next year. Andrews is expected to be sentenced Dec. 8.

Social Media Users React To Andrews’ Verdict

Reaction to the verdict spread quickly across social media, with many users sharing mixed opinions.

More On Jacksonville Rapper Julio Foolio

Julio Foolio, born Charles Jones, was 26 when he was killed on June 23, 2024. He was in Tampa, Florida, celebrating his birthday weekend when he was shot. Authorities reportedly linked Foolio’s murder to a longstanding gang feud involving multiple Florida groups. In 2021, Foolio gained viral attention for a public feud with fellow Jacksonville rapper Yungeen Ace, with both artists releasing diss tracks aimed at each other. Foolio’s most popular track, “When I See You,” has amassed more than 69 million views on YouTube since its release four years ago.

Details On Winston Hunter’s Tragic Passing

According to PEOPLE, on Oct. 14, Michael Thomas Lloyd pleaded guilty to the May 2022 drive-by shooting, which claimed the life of 6-year-old Winston Hunter. Two other men involved, Jeremiah Harley and Ethan Anderson, also admitted to the murder in 2024 and are now serving life sentences without parole. Lloyd and his crew allegedly fired at least 21 bullets into Winston Hunter’s home. Winston was lying on the couch watching TV when gunfire reportedly struck him in the head and wrist. First responders arrived shortly after, but found Winston dead at the scene. Prosecutors said Lloyd confessed to opening fire on the home because he thought it belonged to a drug dealer. Investigators recovered three firearms during the case, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division confirmed the weapons matched the shell casings found at the scene.

Here’s How Cops Tracked Down The Men Behind The Deadly Shooting

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage that showed a light-colored sedan speeding to and from the neighborhood around the time of the shooting. After the video circulated publicly, the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from law enforcement in Ontario County, New York. Officers there pulled over a car that matched the description and detained two suspects, per WLTX.

Winston’s Family Breaks Silence During Michael Thomas Lloyd’s Sentencing

According to ABC News 4, Winston’s mother, Courtney Hunter, opened up about her son’s tragic death. She told the courtroom during Michael Thomas Lloyd’s sentencing that losing her baby has left her heartbroken. “We’ll never be able to spend time or make memories with him again,” Courtney reportedly said. In addition, 911 calls captured Courtney screaming after the shooting, saying, “They shot my baby.” Furthermore, Courtney added that the only graduation photo she will ever have of Winston was from his kindergarten graduation, which was allegedly taken just six days before he was killed in the shooting.

Sean “Diddy Combs‘ highly publicized trial came to an end over the summer. Jury deliberations officially began on June 30, 2025, and the verdict was determined on July 2. With a jury of eight men and four women, they decided Combs’ fate against prosecutors, who accused Diddy of racketeering and sex trafficking. Meanwhile, his defense team argued that he did not sex-traffic anyone.

Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura took the stand at the beginning of his trial to deliver a chilling testimony of their former volatile relationship. Among Ventura’s claims were that her ex-boyfriend subjected her and others to “freak offs” and physically and sexually abused her while drugging her.

Now that Combs is facing his sentencing, find out what he was convicted of below.

What Was Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Trial For?

Combs was on trial because he was charged by the federal government with five counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Was the Verdict Announced in Diddy’s Trial?

Deliberations began at around 11:30 a.m. on June 30, according to the New York Post. On July 1, the jury sent a note to the judge at 4:05 p.m. ET, announcing they reached a verdict on some, but not all, of the counts that Diddy was charged with, per CNN.

“We have reached a verdict on counts 2, 3, 4 and 5,” the jury’s note to the judge read, according to CNN. “We are unable to reach a verdict on count 1, as we have jurors with unpersuadable opinions on both sides.”

On July 2, the jury entered their third day of deliberations, and they were able to reach a verdict. Combs was found not guilty on count 1, racketeering conspiracy; not guilty on count 2, the sex trafficking of Ventura, guilty of count 3, the Mann Act transpiration of Ventura, not guilty of count 4, the sex trafficking of another former girlfriend and guilty of count 5, the Mann Act transportation of the unnamed girlfriend.

What Happens to Sean Combs for the Guilty Counts?

If Combs was found guilty on just one of the racketeering or sex trafficking charges, he would have faced up to life behind bars, according to multiple outlets. However, since he was only found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, he may not face up to life behind bars. According to Fox News, a charge of transportation to engage in prostitution could carry a sentence of about a decade.

Combs’ sentencing hearing is taking place on October 3, 2025.

How the Trial Could Impact Diddy’s Businesses

The founder of Bad Boy Records could see a severe decline for his businesses. As the boss of Combs Global (formerly known as Combs Enterprises), Diddy’s reputation affects his entire brand. While his net worth is still around $400 million, he could see that decrease if he’s found guilty on any charges.

Was Diddy’s Trial on TV?

No, Combs’ trial was not televised. Only those who were allowed in the courtroom have been able to view the case unfold.

‘Ketamine Queen’ pleads guilty to supplying drug that killed Matthew Perry

by jummy84 September 3, 2025

3 September 2025

Jasveen Sangha has pleaded guilty to selling Matthew Perry the drug that killed him.

Matthew Perry passed away in October 2023

The 42-year-old dubbed the ‘Ketamine Queen’ has officially pleaded guilty to five charges – including supplying the ketamine that led to Perry’s death – during a hearing in Los Angeles on Wednesday (03.09.25).

Sangha – who is a dual citizen of the US and the UK – admitted one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death, one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, and three counts of distribution of ketamine.

Sangha is being held in federal custody and now faces up to 65 years in prison. However, prosecutors have agreed to drop three other counts relating to the distribution of ketamine, as well as one count of distribution of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors have already confirmed that they will ask for less than the maximum possible sentence. Sangha’s sentencing hearing has been set for December 10 in Los Angeles.

Perry died from accidental drowning caused by the acute effects of ketamine use in October 2023, aged 54. The Friends star – who battled addiction for years – has been prescribed ketamine by his doctor as a treatment for depression.

However, in the weeks before his passing, he’d also started to acquire the drug through illegal means.

Perry bought large amounts of the drug through Sangha shortly before he passed away.

Four other individuals – including Dr Salvador Plasencia and Dr Mark Chavez, two doctors who sold ketamine to Perry, Kenneth Iwamasa, who worked as Perry’s live-in assistant, and Eric Fleming, who sold ketamine he’d received from Sangha to Perry – have all agreed to plead guilty to charges.

Fleming and Iwamasa are potentially facing 15 to 25 years in prison, while Chavez faces up to a decade in prison. They are all due to be sentenced later this year.

Perry – who was best known for playing Chandler Bing on Friends – died due to the “acute effects of ketamine”.

An autopsy report also listed drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects as contributing factors in the his death.

Lil Nas X was charged Monday with four felonies after police say he charged at them when they confronted him for walking naked down a Los Angeles street last week.

The Old Town Road rapper, 26, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, pleaded not guilty in a court appearance Monday to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, the district attorney’s office said.

The charges were far more serious than initial reports that he was being investigated for a misdemeanour, and, with convictions, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Nas could face up to five years in state prison.

The criminal complaint filed in court Monday includes few details about the incident, but says that for each of the three officers, he “did unlawfully use force and violence and inflict an injury” on a person he “reasonably should have known” was a peace officer “engaged in the performance of a duty.”

“He’s going to get the help that he needs and just keep him in your prayers,” Stafford said on Monday. “Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone.”

He added that his son is “in good spirits” and that he is “doing great mentally.”

“We shed tears, we shed laughter, but he’s in great spirits. He’s gonna be great,” Stafford said.

Matthew Perry death: ‘Ketamine Queen’ to plead guilty to selling fatal dose – National

by jummy84 August 20, 2025
written by jummy84

A woman known as the “Ketamine Queen,” charged with selling Matthew Perry the drug that killed him, agreed to plead guilty Monday.

Jasveen Sangha becomes the fifth and final defendant charged in the overdose death of the Friends star to strike a plea agreement with federal prosecutors. Having initially pleaded not guilty, her change of plea means she’ll avoid a trial that had been planned for August.

Prosecutors had cast Sangha as a prolific drug dealer who was known to her customers as the “Ketamine Queen,” using the term often in press releases and court documents and even including it in the official name of the case.

A federal indictment charged Sangha with one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute ketamine and five counts of distribution of ketamine.

Sangha will officially change her plea to guilty at an upcoming hearing, where sentencing will be scheduled, prosecutors said. She could get up to 45 years in prison. An email sent to Sangha’s lawyers seeking comment was not immediately answered.

She and Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who signed his own plea deal June 16, had been the primary targets of the investigation. Three other defendants — Dr. Mark Chavez, Kenneth Iwamasa and Erik Fleming — agreed to plead guilty last year in exchange for their cooperation, which included statements implicating Sangha and Plasencia.

Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home by Iwamasa, his assistant, on Oct. 28, 2023. The medical examiner ruled that ketamine, typically used as a surgical anesthetic, was the primary cause of death.

The actor had been using the drug through his regular doctor as a legal, but off-label, treatment for depression, which has become increasingly common. Perry, 54, sought more ketamine than his doctor would give him. He began getting it from Plasencia about a month before his death, then started getting still more from Sangha about two weeks before his death, prosecutors said.

Perry and Iwamasa found Sangha through Perry’s friend Fleming. In their plea agreements, both men described the subsequent deals in detail.

Fleming messaged Iwamasa saying Sangha’s ketamine was “unmarked but it’s amazing,” according to court documents. Fleming texted Iwamasa that she only deals “with high end and celebs. If it were not great stuff she’d lose her business.”

With the two men acting as middlemen, Perry bought large amounts of ketamine from Sangha, including 25 vials for $6,000 in cash four days before his death. That purchase included the doses that killed Perry, prosecutors said.

On the day of Perry’s death, Sangha told Fleming they should delete all the messages they had sent each other, according to her indictment.

Her home in North Hollywood, California, was raided in March 2024 by Drug Enforcement Administration agents who found large amounts of methamphetamines and ketamine, according to an affidavit from an agent. She was indicted that June, arrested that August and has been held in jail since.

None of the defendants have yet been sentenced.

Perry struggled with addiction for years, dating back to his time on Friends, when he became one of the biggest stars of his generation as Chandler Bing. He starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004 on NBC’s mega-hit series.
