Shilpa Shetty’s high-end restaurant chain Bastian is now one of India’s most well-known celebrity dining spots. The Bollywood star ventured into hospitality in 2019 by joining forces with restaurateur Ranjit Bindra, the brains behind the Bastian brand. Since then, Shetty has expanded her portfolio, co-owning multiple restaurants across the country and holding a 50 per cent stake in the Bastian brand. According to SCREEN, the restaurant’s prices reflect its exclusive positioning. A Jasmine herbal tea is priced at ₹920, while an English breakfast tea costs ₹360. The charges go even higher with drinks sparkling wine goes as high as an eye-bulging ₹1,59,500 for a Dom Perignon Brut Rose, a French premium bottle. Food is usually priced between ₹500 and ₹1,200, and portions include chilli garlic noodles for ₹675, chicken burrito for ₹900, burrata salad for ₹1,050, and avocado toast for ₹800.

In the upscale Dadar neighborhood of Mumbai, Bastian At The Top is touted as one of the city’s most popular restaurants. Getting a table in advance is no mean trick—there’s said to be a very long waiting list of hungry visitors, many of whom show up in high-end vehicles such as Lamborghinis and Aston Martins. Socialite and writer Shobhaa De recently explained the restaurant’s phenomenal success in an interview with Mojo Story. She stated that Bastian accommodates as many as 1,400 guests in one night with two seatings of 700 diners each and draws ₹2–3 crore per night in revenue.

Reacting to widespread curiosity about the restaurant’s earnings, Shilpa Shetty hinted that the actual figures are even higher. In an interview with Zoom TV, she laughed off the speculations, saying, “They’re all wrong, and their numbers are totally wrong. We’re making much more than that.” She also proudly mentioned that Bastian paid the highest GST in the hospitality industry during the last financial year, underscoring its immense profitability.

Meanwhile, Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are in legal soup at the moment. They have been charged with cheating a Juhu-based businessman out of ₹60.48 crore. The Bombay High Court recently rejected their plea to go abroad to explore their restaurant business, deciding that they first deposit ₹60 crore before filing for international travel approvals.

He was home, eating lunch, and then he just… died.”

Rajesh went on to clarify that the kidney failure reports were not correct, informing, “The kidney problem had already been tackled; it was in control. Sadly, it was a sudden cardiac arrest that led him away.” His emotional utterance has shed light for co-workers and fans left perplexed by conflicting news.

Prior to this, Satish Shah’s manager Ramesh Kadatala had also revealed the actor’s last moments. He disclosed that the senior actor collapsed while having lunch between 2 pm and 2:45 pm. “Kal lunch karte samaye hua tha. Woh khana khaate khaate ek niwala khaye, phir collapse hua,” he explained. Ramesh said it took around half an hour for the ambulance to reach the location, and when Satish Shah was taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead.

The neighbor of the actor, Anup, who was at home when the emergency broke out, remembered the hectic and poignant moments that ensued. “The moment Ramesh called me, I rushed there. Satish kaka ke liye madad chalu kiya… hum koshish karte rahe unko sahi karne ke liye,” he explained. Recalling the actor fondly, he added, “He was such a good person — an artist with a big heart.”. The persons listed are subject to close monitoring, restrictions on movement, and possible legal proceeding.

In support of the assertion, a claimed government notification dated October 16, 2025, went viral online. The purportedly signed document by provincial authorities indicated that Salman Khan was being listed as an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator.” The social media user Nasir Azeem originally posted it, and soon it gained momentum on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook.

But queries into the allegations have shown no official confirmation from any government agency in Pakistan or reliable media outlet. No announcement has been made by Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior or the Balochistan Home Department. Experts further reported discrepancies in the viral document, indicating that it was doctored or fabricated. The language and document format in the purported notification also do not resemble official Pakistani documents of this sort.

The row appears to have originated from a footage of Salman Khan’s speech during the Riyadh Forum, in which he talked about the increasing international clout of Indian cinema. At the course of discussion—conducted alongside actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan Salman used the name Balochistan while narrating about the South Asian labor force in the Middle East that comes from diverse backgrounds.
