He suddenly found himself having to take on responsibilities way beyond his years. “I tried to stay strong and be the man of the house,” he said. “But after holding it all in for weeks, one day I just broke down and cried. That was when it all really hit me.”

Despite the pain, Arshad turned his hardships into motivation. He worked tirelessly to support himself and gradually built his career in the film industry. However, the road was far from easy. Arshad admitted that in his early years, he accepted several film projects purely for financial reasons. One such project was Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. “I did Jaani Dushman to make money for my home,” he confessed. “I even told the director to kill my character early on, but that didn’t happen.”
