Bollywood’s favorite couple, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, are set to become parents for the first time as they are expecting their first child. The couple has recently shared the happy news on social media with a warm polaroid snap of Vicky affectionately touching Katrina’s baby bump. The news was captioned, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
According to reports, Katrina is in her third trimester, with the due date between October 15 and October 30, 2025. While the couple has opted not to disclose details, insiders close to them indicate that they are hosting a low-key baby shower today, October 6. As reported by Pinkvilla, the gathering will be a low-key affair that will be attended by just close friends and relatives.
Celebrity chef Shilarna Vaze (Gaia Gourmet) is said to be taking care of the catering for the event. She gave a clue to the same by posting an Instagram story writing, “Guess whose baby shower @gaiagourmet.in is catering today,” fueling speculation that she’s collaborating with the Kaif-Kaushal family for the event.
Meanwhile, Vicky’s younger brother, actor Sunny Kaushal, recently opened up about the excitement at home. Speaking about Katrina’s pregnancy, he said, “Everyone is very happy and also a bit nervous. We’re all waiting eagerly for the little one to arrive.”
Even though the couple announced it officially last month, pregnancy reports had been doing the rounds since July when they went viral at a ferry terminal in Mumbai. While the media was abuzz, Katrina and Vicky kept mum until they were ready to disclose the information.
