With less than a month to go for its highly anticipated theatrical release, Junglee Pictures has just unveiled the Faceoff Poster of its upcoming film HAQ, offering a riveting first look at the emotional and ideological confrontation between Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi.

HAQ’s New Poster Out!

The newly released poster sets the tone for what promises to be a bold, impactful drama capturing the raw intensity between two characters on opposing sides of a national debate. It reflects HAQ’s core conflict: Kaum ya Kanoon?

Directed by Suparn S. Varma and written by Reshu Nath, HAQ is inspired by a landmark Supreme Court judgement and presents a fictionalized and dramatized interpretation of events based on ‘Bano: Bharat ki Beti’ by Jigna Vora.

The film raises one of India’s most defining questions: Where do we draw the line between personal law and secular law?

With powerful performances from Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi, the poster is a visual embodiment of the storm brewing between belief systems and the justice system. Also featuring Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain, and Aseem Hattangady in pivotal roles, HAQ is a timely and gripping courtroom drama for our times.

Produced by Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, HAQ releases in theatres on 7th November 2025.

Yami Gautam In Talks To Team Up With Kriti Sanon For Aanand L Rai’s Folklore Film Nayi Naveli: Deets Inside!

Yami Gautam is reportedly in talks with director Aanand L Rai to play a parallel lead in his upcoming fantasy film, Nayi Naveli, starring Kriti Sanon. The film draws inspiration from Indian folk tales, and the makers are keen to have Yami on board. Yami has recently resumed work after her maternity leave. Meanwhile, her next film, Haq, is set to release in theatres on November 7. Reports suggest that the discussions are ongoing, and if finalized, Yami will join Kriti in bringing this folk-inspired fantasy story to the big screen, adding excitement for audiences.

Yami Gautam in talks for Nayi Naveli?

A source familiar with the matter told Mid-Day: “Rai has been particular about the story’s tone — he wants it to feel rooted in Indian folk tradition, but have a big-screen fantasy appeal. Casting Kriti was the first step because she has the acting prowess and star presence required for the role. She will be seen as part-folklore heroine, and part-mystical warrior. Now, they are in talks with Yami for a meaty role. The two actors haven’t shared screen space before, and that novelty will grab eyeballs.”

The source further mentioned, “Kriti is occupied with Tere Ishk Mein promotions throughout October, while Yami is tied up with Haq, which releases in early November. If Yami comes on board, the idea is to begin workshops and costume trials by November so that the shoot can start in December.”
