Lenny Founder Lindsey Davidson Shares Why Stars Look So Good in Their Vintage Denim and How You Can Too

Lindsey Davidson, founder and CEO of Lenny, is making denim dreams come true from her Studio City, California vintage jean outpost.

Rachel Bilson, Whitney Port, Hannah Berner, Carole Radziwill, Katie Lowes, and more are flocking to the destination for perfectly worn-in Levi’s, Wrangler, Lee, and rare European styles in every wash imaginable, plus Davidson’s expert eye.

“My connection to vintage denim began early. I was a total tomboy growing up and practically lived in jeans, so when it came time to build a brand of my own, it felt only natural that it would center on denim and the romance of vintage,” she tells ET.

Whitney Port/Instagram

That adoration comes down to the history woven into every pair she carries.

“We put a lot of effort into finding truly unique washes and silhouettes because that’s the magic of vintage. No two pairs are the same. What captivates me most about vintage denim is the life it has lived before you. … The whiskering, the fading, and the subtle imperfections are all part of the charm and what makes vintage so special and one-of-a-kind,” Davidson explains.

To make them even more original, the entrepreneur offers one-on-one in person and virtual appointments where she provides tailored tweaks to the waist, hips, and seat for a flattering fit, along with custom embroidery options.

Lenny

“The best tip for creating the perfect pair of jeans is to start with a size that’s close to your own. A lot of people think they need to go up two or three sizes, but that really only works if you’re going for a baggy, oversized look.”

Instead, her approach prioritizes the integrity of the denim and the person wearing it.

“We only offer customizations that make sense for that specific pair to ensure the fit, quality, and character remain intact. … By honing in on those key fit points, we can make thoughtful changes that enhance shape and comfort while keeping the craftmanship of the jeans,” she shares.

Carole Radziwill/Instagram

And while requests vary, one universal desire remains. “When it comes to denim, everyone wants their booty to look good. … Shaping in that area can make all the difference. … There’s no better feeling than wearing a pair of jeans that fits you perfectly. It’s the ultimate confidence booster.”

That attention to detail and emotional understanding is exactly why It-girls gravitate toward her.

Hannah Berner/Instagram

“Everyone, celebrity or not, appreciates something personal and intentional. … We take the time to understand the fit, the fabric, and how someone wants to feel when they put on their jeans,” Davidson says.

“Denim can be such a battle for so many women, so our goal is to make the experience fun and supportive. … We love helping people feel good in a pair of jeans that truly feels like them.”

Hot Pilates Founder Shannon Nadj Shares the Rituals Keeping Her and Hollywood’s It-Girls Grounded and Glowing

by jummy84 December 2, 2025

Well-rounded wellness is in. Hot Pilates founder Shannon Nadj sat down with ET to mark the 11th anniversary of her heated Pilates studio in West Hollywood, California, and to share the rituals she’s prioritizing as she heads into 2026.

The celebrity instructor behind the sculpted silhouettes of Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Shay Mitchell, Lori Harvey, Sofia Richie, and Selena Gomez has been expanding her approach to offer a true mind-body-soul destination.

“We truly believe workouts are just one part of the bigger picture when it comes to wellness. One of the core principles of Pilates is the mind-body connection, which to me means nurturing our inner world just as much as our outer one,” Nadj explains.

CPR/BACKGRID

Lately, her focus has shifted towards pairing movement with restorative rituals by offering sound baths and co-hosting events with lymphatic drainage hot spot Sous La Los Angeles, conveniently located right next door to her heated and reformer Pilates spaces.

“I’ve been taking care of my mental health by focusing on breath work, meditation, and slowing down. … Sound baths support our well-being on a cellular level, while services like those from Sous La align with our philosophy of intentional self-care.”

Still, Nadj never strays far from the signature sweat and glow that put her fitness destination on the map.

PG/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images

“Prioritizing movement helps us age gracefully and stay strong enough to keep doing the things that bring us joy. Beyond the physical benefits, maintaining a routine builds discipline, and over time, that turns into confidence we can carry with us far beyond our workouts. … Plus, releasing endorphins is like getting a natural boost from our body’s own pharmacy.”

Right now, that means prioritizing low-impact, high-reward workouts that deliver strength without spiking stress.

“I’m currently loving low cortisol workouts with heated mat Pilates and reformer classes,” she says.

And once she leaves, Nadj’s commitment doesn’t slow down. Instead, it simply shifts into a cozier version of TLC.

Jesse Alexander

“I use the hyperbaric chamber at Remedy Place, Normatec compression boots a few times a week to help with inflammation, and do dry brushing in the winter to help with circulation and dry skin. For my face, I use the Celluma LED red light therapy mask, and I keep a humidifier in each room because it gets so dry in L.A.”

The Pilates pro is equally intentional about how she fuels her body.

“I follow an anti-inflammatory meal plan and take TruNiagen supplements and Peptides BPC157 at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group for inflammation and muscle tissue recovery. I’ve never felt better,” she shares.

The Vintage Marché Founder Lili Aghaei Shares Why It-Girls Love Her Finds — and How to Care for Yours

by jummy84 November 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Marché magic! Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Sydney Sweeney, Jessica Alba, Nina Dobrev, and more It-girls have been flocking to The Vintage Marché in Los Angeles, California to snag pre-loved designer handbags, shoes, belts, and jewelry.

The showroom, home to treasures from Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Fendi, Dior, and other top fashion houses, has quickly become a go-to destination for stars looking to score hard to get items.

Emma McIntyre/Getty Images for GQ

Lili Aghaei, founder of the business, says the draw starts with the rarity of the items she sources.

“I’ve always been obsessed with vintage luxury pieces that no one else had. Growing up, my mom and grandmother would take me to antique shops, consignment stores, and estate sales, and I fell in love with the hunt and the thrill,” she explains.

Now, Aghaei is sharing that same feeling with celebrities, and everyone else who appreciates a good find.

Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images for Baby2Baby

“My vintage vibe is refined and quietly luxurious but always rooted in storytelling. I’m drawn to timeless pieces with real craftsmanship that carry a kind of soul and magic you just can’t recreate today,” the curator shares.

“People know that when they come to us, they’re getting editorial-worthy treasures that look new, but have the history and uniqueness of vintage.”

As for what’s trending this holiday season: “Creamy beiges, rich chocolates, and classic blacks, with pops of deep red, burgundy, and gold give a festive, polished feel. … Textures are having a moment too, especially pony hair and exotic skins.”

Lindsey Molk

Luckily, shoppers will find plenty of those details in The Fall Edit: Part II, dropping Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 9 a.m. PST.

Once you’ve snagged your picks, Aghaei says proper care is essential.

“Treat each piece like the little work of art it is. … These pieces have lived a life before you, so a little extra care helps them stay beautiful for decades to come.”

Her biggest tip? Focus on storage.

The Vintage Marché/Instagram

“Keep handbags stuffed to maintain their shape, avoid direct sunlight, and use dust bags or breathable covers. For shoes, rotate wear and avoid exposing delicate materials like satin or pony hair to moisture. When it comes to cleaning, less is more. A soft cloth, gentle leather conditioner, and professional maintenance once or twice a year go a long way.”

And when it’s time to get dressed, Aghaei recommends striking the right balance with your old and new items.

“If your vintage piece has texture or character, keep the rest of your outfit streamlined. If your clothing is minimal, it’s the perfect moment to let a standout vintage accessory shine. When you blend the two, you get this effortless, elevated look that feels personal, timeless, and completely your own.”

Manucurist Founder Gaëlle Lebrat Personnaz Wants Your Nails to Have Their Own Skincare Routine

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Flawless from head to toe! Manucurist founder Gaëlle Lebrat Personnaz wants you to treat your nails like your skin, and celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Bieber, Margot Robbie, and Gwyneth Paltrow have already gotten the memo.

Not only do the lacquers come in 90+ shades to complement every look, but the vegan, plant-based formulas also take a skincare first approach to nailcare with products that plump, brighten, smooth, and protect.

“Your nails are just as sensitive as your skin,” the CEO tells ET. “Like our skin, nails are exposed to environmental stress, lifestyle habits, and daily wear. You wouldn’t apply a glowing foundation to damaged skin, and the same logic applies here.”

Manucurist

When it comes to nailing the perfect mani, Personnaz says prep is key.

“Always file in one direction, soften cuticles with a drop of emollient, gently buff the surface, and clean the nail plate with a mild remover. Then, apply a thin base layer, two coats of color, and a topcoat.”

From there, use the Active treatment range for polishes that double as serums.

“You can wear them solo, but the real fun is in the layering. Apply one, two, or even three together to create different finishes, just like you would with your makeup routine. It’s nail care that plays like beauty.”

Manucurist

For extra shine, Personnaz reaches for the Green Flash collection for salon-level results or a trend-forward twist.

“I’m inspired by the worlds of fashion, design, art, and even travel. A nail color should spark emotion, just as a beautiful garment or a work of art would,” she shares.

Right now, it’s all about the reimagined French manicure with “micro, upside-down, multicolored and textured pearl, glazed, or glossy tips.”

Because for Personnaz, nails aren’t just an accessory, they’re a statement.

Manucurist

“A manicure is that little detail that changes everything. Like a great pair of shoes or a beautiful bag, it completes your look. Well-groomed nails show that you care about yourself and it gives your confidence,” she notes.

To maintain her mani, the businesswoman always keeps hydrating staples and handy tools close.

“I finish my face routine by applying the extra product to my hands and use the rose nouvelle balm to hydrate my cuticles, hands, and lips. I carry our gentle glass nail file, and whenever I travel, I bring the Complete Nail Serum with me. Before bed, I massage in some cuticle oil for soft hands by morning.”

The Lions Founder Ali Kavoussi Reveals How to Make It as a Model and Why Confidence Is Key

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

The world is your runway! And few people know better than Ali Kavoussi, founder of The Lions Management, the agency behind famous faces like Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, Kate Upton, Stella Maxwell, Behati Prinsloo, and Amelia Gray Hamlin.

Now, the managing partner, known for discovering and nurturing rising stars, is telling ET exactly what it takes to land covers, book shows, and break into one of fashion’s most competitive industries.

While your walk and poses might already be strong, Kavoussi believes true success begins before you step in front of the camera.

Getty Images

“We start with personality, story, and style and build everything from there. … Every person we represent has a point of view and we make sure the world sees it. … It’s not just about beauty. It’s presence, authenticity, and curiosity.”

From there, dedication to the craft is everything.

“One of the most surprising things about modeling is how much hard work, discipline, and self-awareness it requires. … It’s about showing up on time, being professional, understanding your brand, and building real relationships.”

And through it all, believing in yourself is key.

“Watching a model that everyone once overlooked walk the biggest runway in the world never gets old,” the businessman notes.

“I always tell the girls to fake it till you make it. Even if you’re nervous, walk in like you belong in the room, because you do,” he adds.

Just as essential: Having the right team behind you.

BFA.com

“It’s all about alignment. … Modeling can be overwhelming. You’re traveling constantly and signing major deals. An agent becomes your anchor. They fight for you and help you make the right long-term choices,” he shares.

This includes finding ways to make supermodels triple threats through his innovative approach with clients, whether it’s at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, New York, or in ALO’s Luxe Bag campaign.

“As we grow, my vision is to keep building a powerhouse that blends legacy names with the next generation of icons. … Seeing Amelia evolve into a creative force and Candice launch her brand are full circle moments,” Kavoussi says.

“My job is to protect individuality and make sure it translates from the runway, to a brand deal, to a single Instagram post. … We believe that a model can be an entrepreneur, a storyteller, and a brand,” he continues.

Of course, knowing your angles never hurts either.

“It’s an art form. The more you shoot, the better you get. … Study light and be patient with yourself. It’s a lot of trial and error. And never underestimate the value of a great photographer,” he spills.

Turkey Leg Hut Founder Nakia Holmes Arrested, Accused Of Hiding Ex-Boyfriend Wanted In Houston A$$ault & Kidnapping Case

The #TurkeyLegHut has another scandal to add to its resume.

Nakia Holmes, founder of the now-closed infamous #Houston restaurant, was arrested on Oct. 15 and charged with hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known felon. Authorities allege that Holmes assisted Johnathan Saizon, her ex-boyfriend, who was wanted for aggravated kidnapping and a$$ault. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Holmes misled deputies by denying that Saizon was at her residence, even though he was seen fleeing from the property. Holmes is accused of passing a message to Saizon that prompted his escape. She was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday (Oct. 17).

According to court records, on Oct. 8, Saizon allegedly kidnapped a woman, said to be his ex, and a$$aulted her with a tire iron. The victim’s son told the authorities that Saizon “held her against her will for six hours.” Saizon is currently in jail. He faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony, and aggravated a$$ault of a family member, a second-degree felony.

Cult fit founder shares 4 exercises to do for strong knees if your parents are struggling to walk now

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

As our parents or grandparents grow older, their ability to perform certain daily activities also depletes. For women, their bones grow weak, especially if they don’t work out regularly or do strength training. According to Mayo Clinic, loss of estrogen in women due to menopause and lower testosterone levels in men increases bone loss and can also lead to the development of osteoporosis.

Training your knees isn’t just for the gym—it’s for everyday life. This is how you move better, without pain holding you back.

Diving straight into strength training may not be a plausible route for many. In a September 22 Instagram video, Rishabh Telang, co-founder of Cult Fit, shared 4 exercises that he makes his 63-year-old mother do to build stronger knees. So, even if you are going to the gym or just starting out, these exercises could help you move better.

4 exercises for stronger knees

Sharing the videos featuring the 4 exercises, the Cult Fit founder wrote, “You shouldn’t have to think twice before taking the stairs, kneeling on the floor, or walking longer distances. Training your knees isn’t just for the gym—it’s for everyday life. This is how you move better, without pain holding you back.”

1. Hip thrusts

In this assisted form of hip thrust exercise, lie down on the floor near an elevated surface like a sofa, and keep your heels on the edge of the sofa. Now, with your palms resting on the floor, lift your hips off the floor and thrust them up in the air. Repeat this motion to do the exercise.

2. Leg raises

This is another form of assisted exercise, where you can ask your parents to sit on the edge of the sofa or a chair, with a straight spine, thighs parallel to the ground, and feet firmly placed. Now, raise your legs in the air, parallel to the ground, and repeat the motion for each leg.

3. Calf raises

To do this exercise, stand in front of an armchair, and using it for balance, do the calf raises by lifting your heel off the ground and balancing your body on your toes. You feel the pull in your calves. Keep your spine straight for the routine.

4. Feet raises

Sit on a chair or a sofa. Now, while keeping your spine straight, raise your toes off the ground with your heels placed on the floor.

Celebs Love Emi Jay’s ’90s-Inspired Claw Clips — Now the Founder Predicts the Next Nostalgic Hair Trend

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Throwback with your hair back! Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez have all hopped on the ’90s claw clip revival — a look once made iconic by Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, and Jennifer Aniston — thanks to Emi Jay.

Founded by Julianne Goldmark, the brand has become a go-to for It-girls wanting to sweep their hair up in seconds while still making a chic statement.

“It’s been so special to see claw clips come back in the way that they have, especially since they’re part of Emi Jay’s DNA,” Goldmark tells ET.

Jim McIsaac/Getty Images

The 30-year-old entrepreneur sees her clips, headbands, pins, bows, and scrunchies as little jewels for your hair and the finishing touch that makes any outfit pop.

“Hair accessories are like your staple pair of small gold hoops. They pull everything together, even with jeans and a tee. A hair accessory makes the whole look feel more intentional and polished without trying too hard,” she notes.

And the best part? No heat or hours in front of the mirror are required.

Hailey Bieber/Instagram

“We all love a look that’s cute but doesn’t take forever. … There’s something satisfying about a quick, effortless updo that still looks intentional while keeping your hair out of your face.”

While the claw clip craze shows no signs of slowing down, Goldmark already has her eye on what’s next.

“Ponytail barrettes and tortoise barrettes are going to have a nice moment this fall and winter in an elevated way,” she predicts.

TheStewartofNY/Getty Images

In addition to her signature accessories, Goldmark swears by her line’s Heavenly Hair Milk, Halo Hair Oil, Angelstick, brushes, and the new Toasted Sugar Aura Hair Mist to keep her strands shiny and strong.

“Healthy hair has always been so important to me because it just makes you feel yourself, but better. When your hair feels soft, shiny, and nourished, it’s amazing how much more confident you feel, even on a busy day.”

Spotify founder Daniel Ek is stepping down as CEO

Spotify founder Daniel Ek is stepping down as CEO

by jummy84 September 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Spotify founder Daniel Ek has announced that he will be stepping down from the role of CEO.

Ek founded the streaming service two decades ago and has been CEO since. He announced today (Tuesday September 30) that he will be transitioning to an executive chairman role for the company on January 1, 2026.

Taking his place as co-CEOs will be Spotify co-presidents Alex Norström and Gustav Söderström. The former currently serves as the company’s chief business officer, while Söderström leads Spotify’s product and technology unit.

“As Executive Chairman, I will spend more of my time on the long arc: strategy, capital allocation, regulatory efforts, and the calls that will shape the next decade for Spotify,” Ek said in his statement. “Gustav and Alex will continue to report to me, and we will work closely together with our Board of Directors.”

He added that the move has been made to allow him to shift his focus towards other businesses.

“A personal note on what’s next for me. I am often asked, ‘How do we build more Spotifys out of Europe?’ That’s why several years ago, I announced my intention to help create more of these supercompanies — companies that are developing new technologies to tackle some of the biggest challenges of our time,” he added.

An update from me 👇 pic.twitter.com/xc0w3BWWAO

— Daniel Ek (@eldsjal) September 30, 2025

One of the businesses outside of Spotify that Ek is involved in is his investment company, Prima Materia. Over the summer, the brand led a €600million (£524million) investment into Helsing – a Munich-based company creating drones and artificial intelligence for military operations.

The move led to a number of high profile artists to pull their music from Spotify, including King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, in a bid to “put pressure on these Dr. Evil tech bros to do better”.

Those joining them in the boycott was Xiu Xiu, who shared plans to remove their music from the platform over Ek’s “investment in AI war drones”, Deerhoof, who said they didn’t “want our success being tied to AI battle tech”, and Wu Lyf, who took down their latest single ‘A New Life Is Coming’ from the streaming service.

Ek has said that his new role in Spotify will reflect a European set-up, and that he will continue to have a hands-on approach with the company. Spotify board director Woody Marshall added that the leadership changes had been in motion for years.

“We have tremendous confidence in Alex and Gustav as they step into these roles,” Marshall said (via The Verge). “They each have more than 15 years with the company and have been instrumental in driving our success and enabling Spotify to lead our industry.”

Controversy around Spotify and Daniel Ek extends beyond his ties to Helsing. In 2024, Ek sparked backlash for his comments relating to the cost of “creating content”, with countless users and musicians describing him as “out of touch”.

Today, with the cost of creating content being close to zero, people can share an incredible amount of content. This has sparked my curiosity about the concept of long shelf life versus short shelf life. While much of what we see and hear quickly becomes obsolete, there are…

— Daniel Ek (@eldsjal) May 29, 2024

He would later walk back on his comments, saying that he had no intention of dismissing the struggles faced by musicians and using the “reductive” label of “content”.

Around that same time, the CEO came under fire as it was reported that Spotify had made profits of over €1billion (£860million), but at the expense of staff being laid off, artists struggling to make any income from streaming, and subscription prices rising.

It became even harder for artists to make money from the platform last year, when Spotify officially demonetised all songs on the platform with less than 1,000 streams. The policy was launched on April 1 2024, but had been planned by the platform for some time. It was quickly criticised for making it harder for artists to generate royalties and restricting new artists looking to crack the music industry.

Kate Nash was one of the many artists shedding light on the lack of pay-off, launching her “bum on the back of a fire truck” protest, heading to the London office of Spotify, and saying, via megaphone: “Artists are paid 0.003 of a penny per stream whilst [Spotify] demonetised 80 per cent of music on the platform.”

Primal Scream bassist Simone Marie Butler also spoke out against the platform, saying that Ek was “sitting on his yacht laughing at your Spotify top five while he cashes in on music he had nothing to do with, calls it ‘content’ and artists still get £0.04 per stream.”

Others to criticise the platform and its impact on the music industry have included Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante, who described streaming as the place “where music goes to die”, and Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth, who said he “owes it” to other musicians not to have an account.

Kate Nash, 2024 CREDIT: @emilymarcovecchio

Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor also shared how streaming has “mortally wounded” many artists, while James Blake claimed that “the brainwashing worked and now people think music is free”.

Last December, a site parodying Spotify Wrapped was taken down at the request of Spotify‘s legal team, after it calculated the amount users pay in subscription fees compared the royalties paid to the artists throughout the year.

At the start of 2025, nominees for the Songwriter Of The Year category at this year’s Grammy Awards boycotted Spotify’s party in retaliation to its treatment of songwriters.“After some thought, I couldn’t in good conscience support this initiative given their approach to bundling royalties,” said Jessie Jo Dillon, one of the artists boycotting. “It is very nice to be individually honoured, but it is better for me and my entire songwriter community to be paid fairly for our art. There are no songs without songwriters.”
