Yet, for all his popularity, his straightforward, no-nonsense personality has never quite aligned with the maneuvering, tact, and constant networking that politics demands. While the win added another dimension to his public life, it was clear that politics was not a natural fit for him, and he chose not to run in 2024 when his term ended.
