Bad Bunny Duets With Marc Anthony at Puerto Rico Residency Finale

Bad Bunny has officially concluded his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan — and he ended the historic run with a night full of surprises.

During Saturday night’s (Sept. 20) “Una Más” show, the Puerto Rican superstar brought out fellow icon Marc Anthony for a powerful and emotional performance of “Preciosa,” a beloved anthem honoring their homeland.

“I haven’t sung this song in over 20 years,” Bad Bunny told the crowd at El Choli, before inviting Anthony to join him onstage.

Watch the performance on X here.

“Preciosa” was originally composed by Rafael Hernández Marín in 1937 and later recorded by Anthony for his 1999 album, Desde un Principio: From the Beginning.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. Bad Bunny also welcomed an all-star lineup of Puerto Rican talent, including RaiNao, Dei V, Ñengo Flow, Arcángel, De La Ghetto and Jowell & Randy. Chuwi also joined him once again for their track “Weltita,” which the pair performed every night during the lengthy residency.

In an emotional speech toward the end of the show, Bad Bunny addressed the crowd with gratitude and love.

“I have always had the same passion, love for what I’m doing. I promise I will never change. I love you, Puerto Rico. I love you, mom and dad,” he said, later adding, “It doesn’t matter what your issue or problem is, love will always be the solution.”

Saturday’s show marked more than just the end of the residency. It also commemorated the eighth anniversary of Hurricane Maria and launched a multiyear initiative between Bad Bunny and Amazon Music focused on education, disaster relief and cultural empowerment. The partnership will include programs aimed at strengthening Puerto Rico’s economy and driving meaningful, long-term change across the island, a press release states.

The show was broadcast worldwide via livestream on the Amazon Music app, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and was available to all Amazon customers on Prime Video. Saturday’s livestream was the most watched single artist performance on Amazon Music to date, according to a news release.

Bad Bunny’s historic 30-day No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency drew over 250,000 attendees, solidifying Puerto Rico as a premier entertainment destination. The residency also boosted the local economy and supported small businesses. Throughout the run, he was joined by a roster of surprise guests, including Belinda, Residente, Feid, Rauw Alejandro and Ozuna.

‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Moms on Season 3 Finale, Possible Prequel

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

[This story contains major spoilers from the series finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty, titled “At Last.”]

Amid Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah’s (Gavin Casalegno) love triangle drama throughout Prime Video‘s The Summer I Turned Pretty, Rachel Blanchard believes Susannah “didn’t mean to cause this kind of chaos.”

Before Conrad and Jeremiah’s mom, Susannah, died of cancer between seasons one and two, she was always secretly hoping Belly, the daughter of her best friend Laurel (Jack Chung), would end up with one of her sons. But what she didn’t know was the pressure it was actually putting on Belly, as revealed in the season three finale before Conrad and Belly ultimately end up together.

“She probably saw something in both of them, and I think it was a bit of fantasy for her. But if she knew the chaos that would ensue and the hurt, she would have said it differently, I think,” Blanchard says.

Despite all the messiness after her death — from Laurel and Belly fights, and Conrad withholding his true feelings for Belly, to Jeremiah and Belly becoming codependent on each other in their relationship and rushing to get married — they all matured throughout the final season and eventually, all found clarity as individuals and with love.

Below, Chung and Blanchard unpack the drama-filled third and final season, their thoughts on the show’s ending, if Laurel would actually be open to going on a single’s cruise and their thoughts on a potential prequel with their characters.

***

How does it feel to see the series come to an end after spending so many years with your characters?

JACKIE CHUNG I feel very lucky that we’re able to be here in Paris and watch it together, not only with an audience, but with each other. Because I think when I spoke to you [previously], people would ask me, “How did you feel?” I ould say it doesn’t feel over. I’m still seeing everyone. I haven’t seen all the episodes. I still have to experience those, and now this feels like a finale; it feels more complete.

RACHEL BLANCHARD A really special finale. I’ve never had a screening for the last episode of anything, let alone in Paris and being together with everyone, so it feels really special.

Jackie, why do you think Conrad was able to convince Laurel to come to the wedding, but she instantly shut Jeremiah down when he came earlier to ask her with Belly?

CHUNG Part of it was because I think they do have a close relationship and she really does value his thoughts and opinions, because they think similarly. He’s not impulsive, he’s very thoughtful and measured as she is, but I also think when Jeremiah and Belly came to her, it was still so fresh. Belly was still in the house. By the time she talked to Conrad, as she mentions in the scene, everybody else has turned. John was a quick one and Steven was also a quick one (laughs). I think she was feeling the loss of Belly in her home and in her life, and more time had passed. I think she was hopeful she would come around, and she didn’t. So I think he came at an important moment and was able to just push her further to the other side.

Rachel, knowing Susannah knew the way Conrad felt about Belly, what do you think she would have thought about Belly and Jeremiah’s relationship?

BLANCHARD I think she would have thought they were too young to get married. But I think Susannah would have been supportive of whatever her kids and Belly wanted to explore. I don’t think she was set on Conrad at all costs.

There’s no doubt Susannah would have hated seeing Conrad and Jeremiah fight, so what do you think she would have thought of their confrontation, which turned into a resolution, at her grave in season three?

BLANCHARD I think she would have been so disappointed. She didn’t mean to cause this kind of chaos and fracture in their relationship. All I think she ever wanted was everyone to look out for each other, and maybe her message got a bit misconstrued and taken a bit too seriously.

Jackie, why do you think Laurel hasn’t gone to visit Belly in Paris? Especially since she stayed longer than Laurel was expecting, and it’s clear she misses her daughter.

CHUNG I imagine they’ve spoken. They’re close enough that Belly’s probably given her updates. If it were up to me, I would have been there (laughs). But in terms of the story, Belly needed this time to discover who she is and to explore this Parisian version of herself, and really come into her own. I think it was important for her to be on her own without her mom voicing some opinions in her ear.

Lola Tung in season three.

Prime Video

I have to ask your thoughts, Jackie, on fans saying Belly got a Laurel bob in the finale?

CHUNG I did not hear that (laughs). No way! She looked so cute, but she could have any haircut and look so cute. She’s so beautiful. Laurel would be like, “Twinsies!” And then Belly would be like, “Ugh. I’m going to change it.”

Rachel, since Susannah has only been seen in flashbacks since season one, was it hard playing this character that is essentially still the glue that brings everyone together, but now as a memory?

BLANCHARD I knew it was going to be like that because it’s based on the books. But it wasn’t hard. It was just really fun. For a while I was just doing dying scenes and those got sad and are pretty heavy. So even though I really enjoyed doing it, they were interesting scenes to do. I also really loved doing the scene at the bar [in season one.]

Do you think it was wrong for Susannah to push for Belly to be with one of her sons? Especially since viewers learn in the finale that this has been an internal fear for Belly.

BLANCHARD I don’t know if Susannah knew they were interpreting it as pressure. If she had known that, she would have maybe expressed it differently. She probably saw something in both of them, and I think it was a bit of fantasy for her. But if she knew the chaos that would ensue and the hurt, she would have said it differently, I think. But I also think she’d be happy they ended up together, but only if they both really wanted it. She didn’t want it at all costs.

Gavin Casalegno, Lola Tung and Christopher Briney in season three.

Prime Video

In episode 10, fans started to panic when Belly’s dad, John, had some heartburn, leading them to theorize that he may have a heart attack in the series finale as a reason for Belly to come home. Did you all see those theories, and if so, what did you make of them?

CHUNG We did see and hear about those. It never crossed my mind at all. I think it’s so amazing that fans are so invested and also that they want to know so badly what’s gonna happen in the story that they’re just so open to creating theories, but that was a very unexpected one.

In the finale, it seems like Laurel is on good terms with John and Adam. Since she’s now an empty nester, what do you see next for Laurel? Maybe she’ll actually go on that singles cruise Adam suggested?

CHUNG I don’t know if Laura would go on that singles cruise (Laughs), but I think she is open to exploring different relationships and building probably new friendships, not just romantic relationships, and hopefully more professional goals for herself. She has so much room to grow even at this age and stage of her life. And the three of them, they’ve been in a family already for decades, so they will always be family. They do fight and bicker and they know the annoying things that each of the other one does, but there is always going to be a closeness between the three, and I think they can have a good time together sometimes.

Maybe the Summer I Turned Pretty movie should just follow them on this singles cruise.

CHUNG I actually would love to see a movie of the singles cruise.

BLANCHARD Yes! That would be really funny.

With this newly announced movie to wrap up the story, what do you know about that so far?

BLANCHARD I don’t know anything about it, but we’re excited about it.

CHUNG Yeah, we just know that it’s happening, but we don’t know any other details.

Did you know about the movie going into filming for season three?

BLANCHARD I’d heard rumors, but you can never put stock in rumors because there are so many all the time. So yesterday was the first time that I officially heard.

CHUNG Yeah, that it was happening for sure.

Do you think fans can expect to see Belly reunited with Laurel and her family since we didn’t get that in the season three finale?

CHUNG I would love to see Belly reunited with her family. I know we saw Laurel and Jeremiah make up and connect, but I’d love to see more of them too. I feel like everyone thinks Laurel skews more Conrad, but she really does feel close to both of them.

BLANCHARD And I’m so curious to see what happens in the wake of everything, but then it would also be fun to see, like in season one when we were all together in flashbacks, what brought them to where they are, but some of the fun stuff.

CHUNG A full family dynamic would be lovely to see.

Lola Tung.

Eddy Chen/Amazon Content Services

Jackie, with Laurel knowing everything Belly has gone through with love, what do you think her reaction was to learning she and Conrad got back together?

CHUNG She would be half surprised and half knowing. But still holding firm to her belief that Belly should take her time. She should see if this is indeed the right relationship. She should pursue her studies and her career, and then see how it plays out.

What are your thoughts on a prequel series with your characters that I know fans have suggested? And who would you want to play your younger selves?

BLANCHARD I think it would be really fun to see when they first met, so I’d love to see a prequel. I thought Maddie Ziegler and then someone also mentioned Elle Fanning.

CHUNG And I recently saw Maybe Happy Ending, so I was thinking maybe Helen J. Shen from that [Broadway] show. I think she’s pretty brilliant.

What would you hope to see explored with your younger characters in a potential prequel?

CHUNG I think it’d be interesting to see how Laurel decided to become a writer. Obviously, how she met everyone in her life, all these important relationships. There’s mention of John and the basement wedding (Laughs). I would love to see that.

BLANCHARD I’d love to see where [Susannah] was with her art and the decision to let that go for a little while, and really the beginning of our friendship.

CHUNG That and the styles. I’d like to see the wardrobe.

Organisers of the Great Yorkshire Show can reveal that the Showground in Harrogate features in the highly anticipated third Downton Abbey movie.

Hundreds of cast, crew and extras were based on the Showground where filming took place for some scenes in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.

The film was released globally with a cast that includes Hugh Bonneville (Robert Crawley) and Elizabeth McGovern (Cora Crawley).

Actor Jim Carter who plays Mr Carson told ITV This Morning that he was born in Harrogate and even learned to ride his bike at the Showground.

Scenes shot at the Showground were based on the Yorkshire County Show, set in 1930, using both permanent and temporary structures on site.

The collecting ring used by riders warming up to compete at the Great Yorkshire Show, was also used as part of the film.

The Showground’s events team who manage the venues and outdoor space throughout the year as The Great Yorkshire Events Centre, worked with the production crew to ensure it was seamless.

Allister Nixon CEO of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity which owns the Showground said: “Our events team from the Great Yorkshire Events Centre had multiple meetings with producers to ensure we found the right location for them including access to power and co-ordinating hire of structures and signage as well as areas to store props and equipment, catering and dressing room trailers.

“Our events team here are used to dealing with film and TV crews who hire our indoor and outdoor spaces and it was a real privilege for us to host such a prestigious production.

“We are proud to be flexible and diverse to meet the requirements of film crews whether it’s within our buildings and event spaces or at any part of our 250 acre grounds. We very much look forward to seeing the film!”

All profits raised from space hired or events held on the Showground which operates the Great Yorkshire Events Centre throughout the year, goes back to the registered charity YAS to support the farming industry.

The Summer I Turned Pretty: Gavin Casalegno Finale Interview

by jummy84 September 19, 2025
written by jummy84

[This story contains major spoilers from Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty series finale.]

During the final episode of Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty, viewers saw Conrad Fisher visit Isabel “Belly” Conklin in Paris ahead of her birthday, with the pair finally confessing their love and getting back together. However despite the great secrecy surrounding the series and how it would truly end, eagle-eyed fans began posting videos of the cast filming in Paris online with one in particular making everyone second guess the show’s ending.

Despite the show leaving viewers’ to guess whether Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah would prevail, even though (spoiler!) in the books Belly ends up with Conrad, Gavin Casalegno was spotted filming with Lola Tung in Paris, making viewers wonder if Belly would perhaps end up with his character Jeremiah instead. But the filming ended up being a decoy to trick fans.

“They just told me to get on a plane and show up and they handed me sides that were blank and then I just went out there and ran,” Casalegno tells The Hollywood Reporter of filming in Paris. “It was super fun. It was a free trip to Paris, can’t complain. I had some great coffee. I got to meet a lot of the French crews as well and the French are so amazing.”

He then quipped, “I don’t know. I just work here!”

Despite a Conrad endgame in the finale, throughout the show’s three seasons, viewers had followed the ups and downs of Belly’s relationship with Jeremiah from watching their surprising love confessions to a four-year-long relationship, engagement, almost wedding and breakup. When asked about telling a separate love story within a focus on an inevitable Conrad and Belly reunion, the actor said he didn’t feel “overwhelmed” by it and focused on trying to portray someone who would be himself. “I just wanted people to love him for him. Even after the series ended there are still people that are team Jeremiah,” he said.

Even if fans of the original book trilogy were committed to Team Conrad, Casalengo says he still thinks Jeremiah and Belly could’ve worked. “I think it still could have worked without Christmas. Christmas was when she [Belly] started loving him [Conrad] again… But I think without that and with a lot of healthy boundaries, I feel like we probably would have seen a wedding go through.”

Following the premiere of the finale, Casalegno spoke to THR about the upcoming TSITP film, Jeremiah’s growth (and criticism) and Jeremiah’s blossoming bond with Denise in the finale.

***

For starters, we have learned that this season was not the actual ending and there will be a movie. What can you tease?

Honestly, we have no clue! We’ve heard whispers about it but we’re really just in the dark as much as you are. I guess keep reading fan theories.

Ahead of the final season there were viral clips online of you filming in Paris with Lola Tung. What’s the backstory there? Was that just to throw everyone off with the ending?

I think so! Honestly, I don’t know. They just told me to get on a plane and show up and they handed me sides that were blank and then I just went out there and ran. It was super fun. It was a free trip to Paris can’t complain. I had some great coffee. I got to meet a lot of the French crews as well and the French are so amazing. But I don’t know. I just work here!

The Summer I Turned Pretty season three.

It’s safe to say that Jeremiah has gotten probably the most criticism this season and a common argument is that he only pursued Belly as a way to win her over Conrad due to a possible jealousy or competitiveness with Conrad. Can you address the criticism of Jeremiah’s intentions with pursuing things with Belly?

This is Jenny’s world, Jenny’s creation. I just kind of wanted to collaborate with her on her vision, but I was like, “Jenny they’re closer in age, and I think it would be really cool to play this Jeremiah as someone who’s loved her for a long time.” It was best friends, and there’s always this chemistry between them. You obviously you don’t date when you’re six years old and so now that they’re teenagers, they’re like, “Oh, wow, this could be something.” And so I was under the impression that Jeremiah actually had a thing with her growing up, and that’s what I did. And it was funny, all the criticism and stuff.

I had a conversation with someone yesterday at a jazz bar at like 2 a.m. and they were like, “So are you actually a Team Jeremiah?” And I was like, “Yeah, of course.” And they were like, even after all this other stuff?” And I was like, “I’m sorry. Are you perfect? Have you ever made a mistake?” And she’s like, “Yeah, I’ve made mistakes.” And I was like, “Are you still team you?” And she’s like, “Yes.” There you go! We all make mistakes. Some big, some small, but at the end of the day, we’re all growing and learning and I think that’s the most important thing that you learn from your mistakes. And Jeremiah really did. I think he’s grown a lot in the series.

Regardless of what team people were on, the reality was that Jeremiah and Belly were in a four-year long relationship and we spend a lot of season two and season three following their relationship. What was it like trying to build this love story with Jeremiah and Belly while navigating the Conrad endgame that existed in the books? Did you feel like it was overshadowed or difficult to try to convince people that they too had a genuine love story? Did Jeremiah get a fair chance?

I have a lot of thoughts for this one. The bottom line is, I want to see people love Jeremiah for who he is and love him as a person and be able to see themselves with someone who would sacrifice and do anything for their loved one. I think the nice guy is always overshadowed. People will say it’s predictable and they want that danger, but I think ultimately you end up marrying your best friend. You don’t end up marrying someone who you never know their feelings or anything like that. As far as feeling overwhelmed with the teams, not really. I just wanted people to love him for him. Even after the series ended, there are still people that are team Jeremiah.

Tung and Casalegno in The Summer I Turned Pretty season three.

Prime Video

We also see Jeremiah having this fear of losing Belly again and seemingly knowing that Conrad was always going to be in the picture. Do you feel that even if the Christmas reunion hadn’t happened between Belly and Conrad and Belly and Jeremiah hadn’t gotten engaged, do you think Jeremiah’s fears was always going to break their relationship or do you feel like they could’ve been the endgame and still worked?

I think it still could have worked without Christmas. Christmas was when she started loving him again. That was a moment where boundaries weren’t set for either of them and they were able to emotionally connect in a way they hadn’t for four years because Belly was always with Jeremiah. I think that separation between them, where she essentially had a getaway with Conrad, was pivotal to her feelings and things being stirred up again, where she’s like, “I love him” and reawakened those feelings. But without that and with a lot of healthy boundaries, I feel like we probably would have seen a wedding go through.

Despite the heartbreak, we do see Jeremiah finding his way and him and Denise developing something. Do you think they’re going to pursue things and how will that work, especially given she’s headed to California with Stephen and Taylor?

Yeah, I don’t know. I genuinely just want him to be happy. When is too soon after leaving the altar basically? I don’t know when is too soon to be getting with someone. Probably not within a year, I would imagine, but I just want him to be happy. Denise has gotten to see different sides of Jeremiah and who he is and I hope for the best for them.

Dynamic Duos’ Winners Speak Out About Dramatic Finale & What’s Next

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The below contains spoilers from the MasterChef Season 15 finale ]

MasterChef has crowned its first-ever Dynamic Duos winners. Wednesday’s (September 17) finale all came down to married couple Rachel Sanchez and Julio Figueredo, long-time partners Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald and the aunt-niece combination of Tina Duong and Aivan Tran. The top 3 twosomes were tasked by judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Tiffany Derry to create the three-course meal of their lives. An appetizer, main course and dessert stood between one team and $250,000, trophy and title of MasterChef.

Bosworth and Rosenwald’s love letter to New England ultimately stood out above the rest. The couple of almost a decade came together to serve up a menu headlined by pork belly, braised short rib and dark chocolate ganache tart. The road to victory wasn’t easy for the Bostonians, right from fighting to even get an apron through the second chance auditions to receive their aprons. Here the champs open up about their time on the show and future.

Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald (FOX)

What does it mean to you to win MasterChef?

Jesse Rosenwald: This was possibly the best outcome we could have had. Not winning the apron the first go around was shocking. It hurt. We thought we were losers and were going to go home. Then when they told us they were doing a second chance, we looked at each other saying, ‘we’re not looking back. Every single day we’re going to live and breathe food and just crush every cook going forward.

Jessica Bosworth: It lit a fire in us. There was no turning back after that. We just fully immersed ourselves in the experience.

In the finale the Brussels sprouts were burning. There were issues with the short rib cooking. What was going through your mind when all that was happening?

Jesse: I would say all the cooks leading into the finale helped us work around those issues. I put the brussels sprouts in the oven without thinking about how high the temperature was and wanted to just keep them warm and crispy. When we open that oven we were like, ‘oh my God! We just burnt the Brussels sprouts.” Having it happen at the time of plating was terrible, but I remember we had a couple of other brussels sprouts hanging around somewhere and the cooker was still on. I was like Jess, you go to plating and I’m going to be behind you chopping these up. Thank god we got them done in time.

Jess: That was part of the experience. There are so many circumstances with all the cooks where you have to pivot. You expect things to go one way and you just have to think in a snap when they don’t. You have to just go with it.

Take me through the experience of working together as a couple.

Jessica: I think it absolutely benefited being together constantly. When we weren’t in the kitchen, we were researching and practicing. We were troubleshooting and coming up with concepts. We just lived and breathed the experience. We really did. It was amazing to do it with my partner.

Jesse: Absolutely. We took all the time here in our tiny, tiny kitchen and used it. That made the experience a little easier for us because we had more space when we were there and the pantry was amazing, so we had all those options to choose from. Like Jess said, when we went back after a shoot day, we’d talk about what went well, what didn’t go well, and how we could work together better. Whether it’s communication or what, we already danced well together because we were bartenders together before. We understood that tight-space movement and knowing where that other person was going to be at the same time. Every cook we got stronger. Every time we were in the kitchen we got stronger, memorizing where things were at the station and pantry. There is the confidence of being a Top 3 dish or winning as captains. The confidence helped us go further and further.

How was it getting to know the judges and taking in their critiques?

Jessica: It was surreal. Every time they would come over and give us a tidbit of advice and you take that and put it in your pocket. All of them had something to say where you think, “I never thought about doing it like that way.” You take all of what they say and run with it.

Jesse: As people who watch a lot of culinary shows and look at techniques, we were given new ways of doing things. Even the negative critiques, you think about that for the next cook. The one negative you may hold on to for the next time.

MasterChef

Kelly Gardner / FOX. © 2025 FOXMEDIA LLC.

What are you going to do with the money?

Jesse: We’re working on a side business called 10 Inches South Shore Bar Pizza. The idea is to sell them frozen to start and then at grocery stores and locally to build customers who want them and eventually get into brick and mortar. We have a lot of ideas out there. You can follow us on our Instagram for more updates.

Jessica: The pizza is something near and dear to our hearts. We both grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and that is where the pizza comes from. It’s something we began practicing together during COVID. It started as a passion project, and now we want to see it come to fruition.

Jesse: We want to open up an Italian provision shop with an artisanal sandwich shop inside of it. Also, maybe sell those frozen pizzas and maybe some fresh ones as well with sauces and other. We want it to be all-encompassing of food.

Are we getting an engagement? Will there be a ring? What’s the relationship status ?

Jessica: You knew that question was coming.

Jesse: You know we’ll see what’s going on with that.

Maybe Gordon can serve as officiant.

Jesse: Yes! Yes, exactly.

What are you taking from this experience?

Jesse: I would say meeting the other contestants was one of the best things that happened out of this. We still talk to this day. We have a huge WhatsApp group that people are active in every day. We have about 13 members coming for our watch party. That was one of the big things to take.

Jessica: That was a huge part of the experience. Being surrounded by fellow people who are equally as passionate as you are about food. It was incredible and inspiring to be around people like that.

Jesse: The big takeaway, working through imposter syndrome. We always knew our food was good and that we could make good products. But we always thought if it was good enough. Doing this with other people, and sharing the same sentiment and seeing it come to fruition, it really helped our confidence level.

How would you say life has changed for you since the show aired?

Jesse: It has been great. We’ve had so many people we’ve never met just reach out to say they were watching us from day one and that we have been their favorite to watch and that we hope we win. That’s what matters. The money is great, the title is nice and the trophy is awesome, but having people think this. Our dream is to cook for people and have people make our recipes. When we do a reel on Instagram or TikTok, we’re super excited to see people tell us they made it and it was delicious. That is a part of it.

Jessica: Food has always been love to us, so for us to spread that joy and have others follow along, it has been surreal.

If they ever do another duos, what do you say to someone interested in doing this?

Jesse: Absolutely, do it. This will change your life. Grab someone you trust, that could take heat every now and then because it can get spicy in there no matter what your relationship is. Do it. It was an amazing experience you don’t know until you do it. You don’t get the full scope of it just watching it on TV.

And if you survive this you can make it through anything. Perhaps a good couples test.

Jesse: Absolutely!

The Great British Sewing Bee 2025 winner finally confirmed in season 11 finale

by jummy84 September 17, 2025

After a final set of challenges that saw them each make a bias cut slip dress, transform sheer garments into a finale outfit, and produce a winning Trompe l’oeil outfit, it was Caz who ultimately came out on top as the Great British Sewing Bee winner of 2025.

The 60-year-old from the West Midlands saw off competition from fellow finalists Orla and Yasmin to take the crown and expressed an element of shock at being named winner.

‘Thank you so much. I have gone and won something, I never win anything!” she said. “I didn’t think I would be able to do it. I remember after that very first catwalk I rang my husband saying I am literally in awe of these people.”

She added: “When I was a child I loved sewing and you have no fear as a child and you just sew anything. I think it’s really important to get that fun back. That’s why most of us sew, we sew for the sheer joy and the love of it. And I have got a lot of love for it. It’s truly truly brilliant.”

Speaking about the decision to select her as the series winner, Grant praised her “courage,” “flair” and “beautiful technique”, saying that she “pulled it out of the bag in spectacular fashion.”

Meanwhile, Young added that she was “really pleased for Caz”, saying that she “loved her final garment”.

Caz also spoke about her very personal inspiration for the final challenge, basing it on the open heart surgery she’d had done four years ago and calling her dress a thank you to the NHS and Stoke University Hospital.

“I did put my heart and soul into it, but what made it so special for me is that my daughter Florence was my model and carried it off so well in her own special style,” she said. “I was so proud.”

Throughout her time on the show, Caz won Garment of the Week three times – in Design Icons Week, Korea Week, and Kids Week – but speaking after her win she revealed that it was only while watching it back on TV that she “actually realised that I might have done quite well!”

She continued: “My fellow Bees at the Final, Orla and Yasmin – well I thought at the time that any one of us could have won it. It was a joy to be with them and we all supported each other, they were there for me and I was there for them. In my mind we were all winners.”

Since it launched back in 2013, The Great British Sewing Bee has been a consistent hit for the BBC, following a similar challenge-based format to The Great British Bake Off that sees amateur sewers complete a number of tasks in the hope of being crowned the nation’s best sewer.

It was revealed last week that Alma’s Not Normal star Sophie Willan was set to replace current host Sara Pascoe beginning from the Christmas Celebrity Special later this year.

“We are delighted to welcome Sophie Willan to The Great British Sewing Bee,” BBC commissioning editor Cal Turner said of the news. “With her boundless enthusiasm and energy, Sophie will bring her own unique spark to the sewing room alongside Patrick and Esme.

“We’d also like to thank Sara Pascoe for three brilliant series – her humour and charm have been a joy for viewers and stitchers alike.”

The Great British Sewing Bee is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale ending explained: what happens to Mary?

After 15 years across the big and small screen, Downton Abbey takes its final bow with Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.

Directed by Simon Curtis, who helmed the last big screen outing Downton Abbey: The New Era, the concluding chapter follows the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s amid a public scandal involving Mary (Michelle Dockery).

It is the third film in the Downton Abbey franchise, which originally began as a TV show in 2010. The series spanned six seasons and concluded in December 2015.

Along with Dockery, Hugh Bonneville, Jim Carter, Paul Giamatti, Elizabeth McGovern, Laura Carmichael, Joanne Froggatt and others reprise their roles. Newcomers to the cast include Joey Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale and Arty Froushan.

After Mary (Michelle Dockery) manages to rehabilitate her reputation following the divorce outcry, Robert (Hugh Bonneville) entrusts her to manage Downton Abbey. Robert decides to move into the Dower house previously occupied by his mother Violet (Maggie Smith), who died in the previous film Downton Abbey: The New Era.

This leaves Mary, the granddaughter of Violet, to take the reins at Downton Abbey and steer its future. In an emotional closing scene, she parts ways with the rest of the Crawley family, including her maid Anna (Joanne Froggatt) and sister Edith (Laura Carmichael).

What happens in the final scene?

In the final scene, Mary looks around Downton Abbey and sees visions of characters who have died over the years. This includes her late husband Matthew (Dan Stevens), her late grandmother Violet (Maggie Smith), and her late sister Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay).

As she wells up with emotion, Mary walks away and the camera rests on the portrait of her late grandmother Violet, in tribute to the late Maggie Smith.

Speaking about the scene to USA Today, creator Julian Fellowes said: “Maggie haunts the film in many ways. Cora says to Robert, ‘We’ll be sharing it with your mother’s ghost,’ and he says, ‘She’s part of our story. It’s all part of our story.’

“I wanted to make the point that we are all the result of many things that have happened; many people that have come into our lives and some of them left it. Somehow, you have to find a place for all of that.”

Is there a post-credit scene?

There is a mid-credits scene which shows various couples enjoying their new life together, including Thomas (Rob James-Collier) and Guy Dexter (Dominic West), and Charlie Carson (Jim Carter) and Elsie Hughes (Phyllis Hogan).

Apple TV+ has renewed the sci-fi epic “Foundation” for Season 4, Variety has learned.

News of the renewal comes one day ahead of the third season finale, which drops on Apple TV+ on Sept. 12. The logline for the finale states, “Gaal and the Second Foundation take the flight to the Mule as the Emperor’s legacy suffers a catastrophic blow.”

“There is no series quite like ‘Foundation’ and we feel lucky and honored to be carrying the torch forward as co-showrunners into season four,” said co-showrunners and executive producers Ian Goldberg and David Kob. “We look forward to continuing the epic, emotional, storytelling that defined the first three seasons of the show, and to be working alongside some of the most talented, passionate creative partners in the business.”

“Foundation” is based on Isaac Asmiov’s stories of the same name. The show originally debuted in 2021. The Season 3 cast includes Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur, Pilou Asbæk, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King.

“It’s been fantastic to watch ‘Foundation’ become such a global phenomenon, with fans tuning in from every corner of the world,” said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. “With each new season, the excitement around this trailblazing sci-fi epic just keeps building due to the bold storytelling and collective artistry of this extraordinarily talented cast and creative team. We’re excited to keep exploring this universe together in season four.”

“Foundation” is produced for Apple by Paramount Television Studios. Ian Goldberg and David Kob serve as co-showrunners and executive producers for season four alongside Bill Bost, Pace, Michael Satrazemis, Robyn Asimov and David S. Goyer.

Strange New Worlds’ and ‘Doctor Who’ Crossover? Watch Finale Sneak Peek (Exclusive)

by jummy84 September 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Just how close are we going to get to that Star Trek and Doctor Who crossover we’ve been dreaming of on Strange New Worlds?! Well, in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, September 11, Season 3 finale, Lanthanite Pelia (Carol Kane) mentions a certain character…

Marie’s (Melanie Scrofano) back on the Enterprise, and it sounds like it’s just in time, too. She was gone for a week, “and Chris hardly knew what to do with himself,” M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) remarks to her. Ortegas (Melissa Navia) chimes in with, “He actually jumped back into test pilot drills voluntarily,” and La’an (Christina Chong) adds, “I heard him mutter something about yoga the other day?”

Pike (Anson Mount) interjects: “Laugh all you want, but yoga will take down the best of men.”

Marie is doing better; she started the season off battling a Gorn infection, but, as she points out, the Enterprise crew saved her with an experimental treatment.

Scotty (Martin Quinn) enters all dressed up for his first captain’s table. “I thought you said this was a formal affair,” he protests.

The Enterprise is giving Marie a ride back to Earth, so they can attend her promotion ceremony and, as Spock (Ethan Peck) points out, run much-needed ship-wide diagnostics. “The Enterprise has had a challenging few months,” he says.

Watch the full clip above to see what Pelia has to say about a certain time-traveling doctor.

This isn’t the first Doctor Who reference this season. In Season 3 Episode 6, “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail,” a TARDIS — the Time Lord’s ship in which he travels through time and space — is spotted in the background.

In the Season 3 finale, “New Life and New Civilizations,” Paramount+ teases, “When an ancient, evil alien force re-emerges, Pike must make one of the hardest decisions of his life to stop the evil from spreading.”

What’s your theory about Pelia and the Doctor? Let us know in the comments section below.
