Ari’s Tweet Got Everyone Reflecting

On Friday afternoon, Ari came through with a word for the people. In a tweet, she wrote, “Regret is the [worst] feeling. Wishing you would’ve made a different decision will literally eat you up inside. Be careful.” While she didn’t name names or share details, her post gave major “lesson learned” energy. Fans immediately began speculating about what could’ve had her feeling this way, with some saying Ari’s been in her growth era lately, choosing peace and self-awareness over the chaos she used to entertain. Whatever it is, one thing’s for sure—Ari’s message had the timeline in full reflection mode right along with her.

Regret is the worse feeling. Wishing you would’ve made a different decision will literally eat you up inside. Be careful.

Everybody Felt This One, Sis

As soon as Ari dropped her post, fans flooded her X comments to sound off. Some couldn’t help but bring up her past with G Herbo, hinting that the message might’ve been inspired by him. Others said her words hit deep and came at the right time, while a few chimed in, reminding everyone that life’s too short to live with regrets.

No seriously. I regret not making a better decision with the father I chose for my son.

Life only moves forward when making a decision especially life changing decision take your time weigh all the options and whatever decision you make and the one you don’t be willing to live with your decision wrong or right that helps with having regret later

Big Bling, Bigger Regrets

On Thursday, October 9, Ari hopped on X to clown her old jewelry era, tweeting, “Why was I walking around with that big a* jewelry on. I’m so embarrassed. Okay new money we see you boo.”

And, over on Instagram Stories, she doubled down by posting a throwback photo of herself rocking oversized black shades, stacked rings, chunky bracelets, and a massive “KYLE” Cuban chain that screamed new money energy. Fans couldn’t help but laugh along, with many praising her for being able to look back and laugh at herself—because if there’s one thing Ari’s gonna do, it’s evolve and keep it real while doing it.

Jennifer Lopez has mixed feelings on kids leaving for college

Jennifer Lopez has mixed feelings about her children leaving home.

Jennifer Lopez’s twins are preparing for college

The 56-year-old singer-and-actress is currently promoting her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman and during her downtime, she’s been touring colleges with 17-year-old twins Max and Emme – who she has with ex-husband Marc Anthony – and while she’s sad at the idea of being alone, she is also excited for the “adventure” her offspring have in store.

Speaking on Live with Kelly and Mark, she said: “I mean, it’s crazy. We’re visiting colleges today, between doing this [press] and the premiere, we’re visiting a college today.

“It’s happening — they’re leaving, they’re going, and it’s crazy.

“I’m happy because I feel like, I remember how exciting that time in my life was like, ‘Oh, I’m figuring out what I want to do with my life.’

“And it’s an exciting adventure, I want that for them. But I also think like, ‘Oh! I’m going to be by myself.” “

When co-host Kelly Ripa told Jennifer she was going to love the new stage of her life, the Hustlers actress admitted she has an “inkling” she might enjoy some of it but she’s hopeful her kids will still want to come back to her.

She added: “But also always making a home that they want to come back to, right? That was the goal for me since they were born,” the “On the Floor.

“Whatever this is, whatever we create, the three of us together, it’s going to be something that they always are like, ‘When I go home, it feels good. It smells like home, it tastes like home.’ All of it.’ And I always concentrated on that with them. And I feel like we’ve created that.”

Jennifer noted she was in a “brutal” phase a few years ago with the twins but now they get along in a “really beautiful” way.

She said: “Now they’re 17, they’ll be 18 in February. They’re graduating this June from high school and I feel like, we’re close. We’re a close-knit three now. A lot has happened with us.

“We had to bond together, you know what I mean? That kind of changed things and made it really beautiful for us.”

Louis C.K. Had “Mixed Feelings” Before Riyadh Comedy Festival Gig

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Louis C.K. is the latest comedian to address his decision to perform at Saudi Arabia‘s inaugural Riyadh Comedy Festival.

As the comedian appeared Friday on Real Time, he explained he had “mixed feelings” about participating in the controversial festival, but has come to see it as “a positive thing,” despite backlash from many of his comedy peers.

“I’ve been talking to them, the comedians who’ve been there, and they’ve been really surprised by what’s going on,” he told host Bill Maher. “There’s a woman who’s a lesbian and Jewish, who did a show there, and she got a standing ovation. So, there’s stuff going on that’s unexpected in this thing.”

C.K. continued, “People have been playing Saudi Arabia for years. Comedians have been going and playing Arab countries, there was a film festival there recently, it’s kind of opened up. But I’ve always said no to Arab countries. I do shows everywhere … and when this came up, they said there’s only two restrictions; their religion and their government, and I don’t have jokes about those two things. It used to be when I got offers from places like that, there would be a long list, and I’d just say, ‘No, I don’t need that.’ But when I heard it’s opening, I thought, that’s awfully interesting. That just feels like a good opportunity. And I just feel like comedy is a great way to get in and start talking.”

Noting he plans to go to a comedy club his first night in Saudi Arabia and meet local comedians, C.K. said, “I love stand-up comedy, and I love comedians. So, the fact that that’s starting to open up and starting to bud, I wanna see it, I wanna be part of it. I think that’s a positive thing.”

Later in the interview, C.K. added, “I think the whole discussion is worthy. I’m glad these guys brought this stuff up, I’m glad that people are challenging this thing, because you shouldn’t just pretend it’s something it’s not.”

“I had mixed feelings about it too. I struggled about going once I heard what everybody was saying,” he confessed. “There’s some good in it, maybe some bad in it. But for me, I think it cuts toward going. That’s my decision, and I know where it’s coming from, because I can see right inside myself.”

Other comedians have recently called out their peers who have agreed to perform, noting Saudi officials’ roles in 9/11 and the 2018 assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, as well as the human rights abuses committed by Saudi minister of entertainment, Turki Al-Sheikh, who is behind the festival.

Human Rights Watch researcher Joey Shea explained to CBS News, “The Saudi government has invested billions into high profile entertainment events like these in a deliberate effort to whitewash the country’s human rights record and deflect from the egregious abuses that continue to happen inside of the country.

“These investments are a part of the broader strategy to… have people thinking about a comedy event, for example, rather than the soaring number of executions that are happening inside of the country,” added Shea.

Since Deadline exclusively announced the initial lineup in July, the Riyadh Comedy Festival has grown to include Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings, Pete Davidson, Hannibal Buress, Jack Whitehall, Zarna Garg, Gabriel Iglesias, Jim Jefferies, Jo Koy, Bobby Lee, Jeff Ross, Andrew Santino, Tom Segura, Chris Tucker and more.

David Duchovny uses poetry to try and nail down ‘mystery’ of his feelings

David Duchovny uses poetry to try and nail down the ‘mystery’ of his feelings

The 65-year-old actor is best known for playing Fox Mulder in The X-Files, but has published seven books since 2015, including novels such as Truly Like Lightning and Miss Subways – and his latest tome, About Time, marks his first foray into published poems.

David told People about the motivation behind the project: “I’m just trying to ponder from my particular point of view at that moment, and get to the heart of something.

“That’s what a poem is to me: I’ve got this feeling, it’s around this thing, or this event, or this person, and now I want to put that in a form that makes sense in some way, you know, deal with this mystery of this feeling.”

Acclaimed poet and memoirist Mary Karr has described David’s debut poetry collection as “a helluva book of poems”.

David added the project grew slowly as he revisited his notebooks and drawers filled with earlier work.

He said: “It was interesting to go back through all the drawers and notebooks and files and find poems that I’d forgotten I’d written, some of them made it in (to the book) and some of them should never have been written.”

David also explained he views poetry as an honest attempt to capture fleeting emotions.

He added: “You do the best that you can in the moment that you’re doing it. And that’s both great and horrible, because you don’t have the long perspective, so you just have what you’re immersed in, and there’s a certain kind of joy in that, in that blindness. A certain kind of honesty.”

The collection features poems ranging from single-line fragments to longer ruminations.

David said he hoped readers would approach the book as they might a gallery visit.

He went on: “It’s like when I go to any great museum. I can’t see all the paintings, you know? Even though I might want to, because I don’t know when I’ll be back, it’s like diminishing returns after a while.

“You just get kind of overwhelmed and overstimulated, so I think poems are like that, because they’re dense like painting.”

Comparing poetry to other forms of writing, he said: “Novels are a more straightforward journey: there’s a beginning, a middle and an end.

“But poems are more about interrogating a feeling.

“Scripts are more like poems than you would think, because they’re less like novels, because there’s not a lot of descriptive writing.

“There’s some descriptive writing, but not pretty descriptive writing. It can be more like writing poetry than not.”

KPOPPED first reviews: Fans have mixed feelings about the K-pop x West crossover; ‘karaoke night with pyrotechnics’

KPOPPED first reviews: Fans have mixed feelings about the K-pop x West crossover; ‘karaoke night with pyrotechnics’

by jummy84 August 31, 2025
written by jummy84

Just when you thought the K-pop crossover wave couldn’t get any wilder, in comes KPOPPED — Apple TV+’s latest musical experiment that feels part remix battle, part fever dream. Produced by Lionel Richie, the show pairs K-pop groups like Itzy, Kep1er, Ateez, Billlie, STAYC, JO1, Kiss of Life, and Blackswan with Western icons including Megan Thee Stallion, Patti LaBelle, Kylie Minogue, Kesha, TLC, Vanilla Ice, Boyz II Men, and two-fifths of the Spice Girls.

KPOPPED

The trailer had fans hyped, with Megan Thee Stallion delivering a K-pop remix of Savage against a backdrop of pyrotechnics. If those 109 seconds were anything to go by, the series looked like a five-star extravaganza. But now that all eight episodes are out, early reactions are a little more mixed.

The format sees each Korean group split into halves, each partnered with a different Western star to reimagine one of their hits. The audience then votes on which performance was “kpopped” the best — essentially, the most high-energy reinterpretation. Hosted by comedian Soojeong Son with Psy and Stallion as mentors, the show is a full-scale spectacle, but not everyone is impressed.

Netizen reactions range from “low-budget” to “love it”

“It felt very cheap and low budget lol,” one viewer admitted. Another added, “A lot of it sounded like a night out with karaoke.” Others were disappointed that the show leaned too heavily into reality-TV tropes: “I feel like KPOPPED would be a more captivating/compelling show if it was less American-reality-TV, because those interviews in between rehearsals where they speak in present tense about events that clearly already happened ruin the flow and immersion.”

That said, plenty of fans are still having fun with it. “While I honestly loved these performances, what I really felt was missing from KPOPPED was some more heart-to-hearts on how they make music, their artistry, their mindset, convos on the music industry in general,” one person wrote. Another praised the idols’ energy: “I’m working my way through the episodes and Nvee from Blackswan was insane vocally. It’s so fun to see so many idols having fun and trying new spins on old songs.”

Some were quick to call out standouts: “Watching that KPOPPED episode I have praise for Ateez and Kylie alone. You can see who was fully immersed and interested in doing this and who wasn’t.” But the biggest complaint across the board? The length. “The most criminal thing about KPOPPED is how short these episodes are, I need 2 hours of footage MINIMUM,” one fan demanded. Another echoed the sentiment: “Do not tell me they advertised and hyped up KPOPPED for months now only for the episodes to be 30 mins.”

So, is KPOPPED a hit? Depends on who you ask. It’s flashy, chaotic, and packed with unlikely collabs — exactly the kind of pop-cultural chaos the internet loves. But if you were expecting something deeper, you might just be left wanting more.
