Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made Diwali extra special for their fans. After months of keeping their daughter away from public eye and requesting fans and media to refrain from clicking and sharing her pictures, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ couple have finally introduced their daughter, Dua, to the world. That’s right! In their celebratory Diwali post, Ranveer and Deepika shared the first pictures of their baby girl. Scroll below to check out all the pictures they shared and fans reactions to it.

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh Introduce Dua To The World On Diwali

Taking to their Instagram handles last night, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared a joint post wishing fans and online friends on the occasion of Diwali. Sharing cute family pictures – featuring baby Dua for the first time, they wrote in Devnagiri script, “Deepawali ki hardik shubhkaamnaayein.”

Taking about the picture-perfect images shared, it featured, Deepika and her little on one twinning in red ethnic outfits, while Ranveer complemented them perfectly in a cream kurta and jacket. Dua looked super adorable in her ethnic ensemble complete with two ponytails and a bright smile.

In one of the five pictures, Dua is seen playfully biting her fingers and pointing into the air as her parents lovingly watch her. The last picture in the carousel captures Deepika and Dua participating in Diwali puja, radiating with warmth and love.

Friends & Fans React

In the 13 hours since being uploaded, the couple’s joint post had garnered around 6.5 million likes and over 87 thousand comments. The actor’s Bajirao Mastani co-star, Priyanka Chopra commented on the post by simply writing “God Bless” and a kissing heart emoji. Actress Preity Zinta too took to the comments section and wrote, “So cute” along with a fire and two heart emojis. Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajikummar Rao also commented on the post by writing “Such a perfect mix” and “So Cute. God Bless you guys” respectively.

Shilpa Shetty dropped in some hearts and nazar emojis while Bhumi Pednekar and Neha Dhupia showered love with red hearts. Dia Mirza also joined in the happiness by writing, “Happy Diwali Dua All our love and blessings “ Thousands of fans also took to the comments section and showered love and blessing on the trio through their words and emojis.

Baby Dua was born on September 8, 2024. In November, nearly two months post her birth, the couple announced her name to world – Dua. Deepika and Ranveer shared that the name was inspired by the their mutual love for poetry and music, symbolising gratitude and hope

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have finally shared photos of their daughter Dua on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The little one was born to the couple on September 8, 2024. They have always been private about their daughter and even requested the paparazzi not to click and circulate photos of their little one. However, today, the Jawan actress took to social media to share a couple of family photos featuring her, Ranveer and Dua.

The mother-daughter duo twinned in red outfits while the Gully Boy actor looked handsome in a white ensemble.  He paired a kurta with trousers and a Nehru jacket and completed his look with a golden neckpiece. Deepika was dressed in a red suit with golden patterns, and her daughter wore a similar outfit. In the pictures, the actress can be seen carrying her baby girl in her arms while Ranveer holds them from the other side. Dua smiled adorably for the pictures. In one of the photos, she can be seen sitting on her mother’s lap while she performs a puja. Captioning the post, Deepika wrote in Hindi, “‪Heartiest wishes of Diwali”

Indeed, the Kardashians star made waves with her 2025 Academy Museum Gala look Oct. 18, attending the event in a Maison Margiela couture nude look—complete with a mask that covered her entire face. 

However, Kim revealed that despite her technically faceless look, she was still in full glam beneath.

“You know, I love Margiela,” Kim told Variety on the red carpet. “Honestly, I flew in my favorite makeup artist Mario [Dedivanovic] from New York, and this is kind of a last-minute thing, so I’m sure he’s not so happy with it.”

As for how Kim—who noted that she would likely unveil her look once inside—planned to eat throughout the evening? “You don’t,” she explained. “You just don’t. I ate before to make sure I was okay.”

This particular opaque ensemble, as the SKIMS designer shared, caught her on eye as soon as she saw it on the runway.

In her latest campaign with Bobbie, an organic infant formula and supplements company, Cardi B says, “Black and Brown moms are three times more likely to d!e from pregnancy causes…and if you don’t believe me, you can look it up. Every mother deserves to have a healthy and safe delivery.”

As part of the initiative, fans can dial 732-QQ-CARDI to share their personal experiences, which will be forwarded to lawmakers via #Bobbie for Change, Bobbie’s advocacy organization. Eight participants will receive three months of paid leave, reflecting the Family Act’s proposed benefit of $580 per month, totaling $1,740. Bobbie for Change is also donating a total of $75,000 to Paid Leave for All, BirthFUND and 4Kira4Moms.

Listening to music makes the day easier, whether it is a long commute, working at your desk or sweating it out at the gym. But this also means wearing earbuds for long hours. The most commonly known dangers extend to auditory issues. But did you know your skin, too, gets affected?

Dr Rinky Kapoor, celebrity dermatologist, co-founder and director of The Esthetic Clinics, shared with HT Lifestyle one of the lesser-known issues: earbud-related breakouts, irritations and infections.

Why you may get acne from earbuds?

The dermatologist highlighted that using earbuds for extended periods creates an unfavourable environment around the region.

Explaining more about this, she said, “Wearing earbuds for long stretches creates a closed environment of heat, sweat, and pressure on the skin. This makes pores more likely to clog and get inflamed, often leading to what we call acne mechanica. In some people, the issue may not be acne at all — it can be irritation from the earbud material (like silicone or metal), or even small infections in the hair follicles from bacteria transferred through the device.”

Moreover, the skin-related issues from earbud usage appear differently. Dr Kapoor added, “Acne tends to show up as blocked pores or bumps, allergies cause more redness and itching, while infections appear as tender pustules.”

How to prevent?

Dr Kapoor shared these prevention tips:

  1. Clean earbuds regularly with alcohol wipes and avoid sharing them.
  2. Give your skin breaks by taking them off every hour or two, or use over-ear headphones for longer calls.
  3. Don’t scrub the area harshly; a mild cleanser and, if needed, a light non-comedogenic moisturiser are enough to protect the skin barrier.

She recommended using over-the-counter treatments like benzoyl peroxide or azelaic acid when you see the first signs of irritation or breakouts. However, Dr Kapoor warned that if the pimples keep coming back or leave dark scars, it’s important to see a dermatologist. It is important not to dismiss them just as earbud acne, as they may need medical creams or allergy testing.
