EXCLUSIVE: Anuj Saxena REACTS To Possibility Of Kkusum Comeback With Ekta Kapoor; Says, “Haven’t Met Her For Years”

Television actor Anuj Saxena recently opened up about the possibility of returning to his hit TV show Kkusum, which was one of the most popular dramas of the early 2000s. He also mentioned that he hasn’t met Ekta Kapoor in years but remains open to collaborating again if the opportunity feels right. His comments have sparked excitement among fans hoping for a revival of the early 2000s television classic.

Anuj Saxena REACTS To Kkusum Comeback

Anuj was asked what his response would be if producer Ekta Kapoor called him to bring back the show. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Anuj said, “It’s difficult to say right now, it depends on the circumstances. I would say, yes, it’s an exciting thought for now.” His answer has left fans hopeful about a potential reunion or reboot of the much-loved serial.

When asked if he had met Ekta Kapoor recently, the actor revealed that it had been quite a long time since their last meeting. He shared, “I haven’t met Ekta for years. She has been busy in her own world. Agar kal kahi mulakat hoti hai, kuch hota hai toh, and if it’s interesting and I’ll be able to give my time and energy, I will change.” His words suggest that while he hasn’t ruled out the possibility, any comeback would depend on the right timing and opportunity.

About Kkusum

Kkusum was one of the most successful shows produced by Balaji Telefilms, running from 2001 to 2005. The series starred Nausheen Ali Sardar as Kkusum and Anuj Saxena as Abhay, capturing audiences with its emotional storylines and family drama. The show explored the ups and downs in Kkusum’s life, her struggles, and her relationships, making it a household favourite during its run.

Fans continue to remember Kkusum fondly, and the idea of its revival has sparked excitement. Whether or not Anuj Saxena returns to the small screen as Abhay remains to be seen, but his openness to the idea has certainly delighted longtime viewers.

Exclusive: Sonja Weißer Reveals What to Expect From Maxton Hall Season 2, Teases Season 3

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

After the breakout success of the first season, the elite boarding school drama Maxton Hall: The World Between Us is returning with its much-anticipated second season. Ahead of its release, we caught up with Sonja Weißer, who plays Lydia Beaufort, the ambitious twin sister of the lead character, James Beaufort (Damian Hardung). This season, Lydia continues to navigate personal struggles while chasing her ambitions and fighting to be taken seriously in a world that often dismisses her dreams.
Played with quiet strength, Sonja’s Lydia emerged in Season 1 as more than a side character, ending the season in turmoil after her affair with teacher Mr Sutton and an unexpected pregnancy came to light. As season 2 expands her storyline, we asked Sonja whether she drew on any personal experience to portray Lydia’s evolution.

She answers, “I can relate to it as a woman in this society. I can see myself in Lydia in moments where she has to adapt to patriarchal structures and has to try to break out of them. I can identify with that, and I think almost every woman can. She’s evolving, she’s getting braver, she’s trying to have her own way and to break out of the structures that she was brought up in.”

The German show is based on the 2018 novel titled Save Me by Mona Kasten and follows the collision between Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten), a hardworking scholarship student with dreams of getting into Oxford, and James Beaufort, the arrogant heir to a wealthy family empire. When Ruby accidentally uncovers Lydia’s affair with their teacher Graham Sutton, she is thrust into the ruthless world of privilege, secrets, and manipulation.

Sonja continues, “Lydia is a great character, she is a great woman. I’m very pleased to play her because I think she has a lot of nuances to her. She has such a fierce personality, but at the same time, she’s very loyal and also passionate and creative. What I’m also excited about is the friendship that she’s building up with Ruby, Lin (Andrea Guo) and Ember (Runa Greiner). And that was very fun to play as well because we haven’t seen her with any friends yet. And she was always quite alone or with her brother. So, to explore this new formation for Lydia was very exciting, and I’m very pleased for everybody to see that.”

Sonja

Talking about some of her memorable moments from the sets, she continues, “A great day we had was when we shot a scene with the girls where he released sky lanterns. That was Harriet’s birthday as well. We were outside on a summer day, and there was a great energy. I loved filming with those girls because before I was just filming with boys, which was fine too. But that was a nice energy we had together.”

As the new season builds toward bigger emotional stakes and deeper character arcs, Lydia finds herself at the centre of key turning points that will shape what comes next.

When asked about the possibility of a third season, she answers, “I wish I could tell you, but I think you will be satisfied with watching the whole of season two and everything that’s coming up with it. And for season three, we can say that it’s going to happen. When it’s going to happen, I sadly cannot tell. I don’t know, but I can be excited for it.”
She also told the audience what to expect from season 2. “You can expect a lot of dark emotions, a lot of drama, a lot of trust that is getting broken, grieving, but new friendships, new spotlight on other characters, and just exploring the conflicts and the different protagonists even deeper.”

Maxton Hall season 2 will return on Prime Video starting November 7.

Exclusive| Me Before You and Lazarus actor Sam Claflin on his global fandom: I don’t want to harbour…

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Sam Claflin became a globally renowned name with films like Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Me Before You (2016) and The Hunger Games series. As he gears up for the release of his mystery thriller series Lazarus, the British actor talks about the impact of this global fandom.

Sam Claflin

“I don’t think about it too much because that puts more pressure on things. I have a tendency to put everything into the world that’s in front of me on my mind. I feel lucky that there are people that watch the things that I’ve done. I try my best to sort of honour them as much as myself, but I feel the best way of honouring them is by honouring myself,” he says, adding, “I don’t want to harbour the responsibility of making other people happy anymore, but equally, I’m so grateful for everyone who’s got me to where I am and supported me through some really rough years. The better years are yet to come and I feel really lucky to be in this position.”

Watch the full video interview with Sam Claflin here:

Sharing his experience of working with legends like actor Bill Nighy and author-creator Harlan Coben, Sam Claflin calls it a “dream come true”. He adds, “I’ve been fortunate enough to have actually worked with Bill before, but we didn’t have many scenes together. So, having the opportunity to really go head-to-head with him during filming this was like a gift for an actor. He’s a very generous, giving and also a challenging actor to work with in a way that he just pushes you. He really forced me to be professional. As for Harlan, he is obviously an incredibly gifted writer. I’ve been a huge fan of the books and the adaptations that he has previously done. So it was a real no-brainer for me to get involved with this.”

His character Joel Lazarus goes through some intense situations in the series, and Sam admits that it did take a toll on him: “I had my own mini breakdown after filming. Without realizing it, the weight of the mental strain of playing Joe Lazarus, I did sort of carry over into my own life. I was just physically, emotionally and mentally tortured through the process of filming, but not in a bad way. I was also coming off the back of shooting something else, which again was very demanding. So, I put everything into it, everything that I had left in the tank anyway. It was an incredibly demanding and challenging role, but one that I was so eager to do and to do well. I was fortunately blessed with an incredible support network of great actors, filmmakers, and producers. I felt looked after but it definitely broke me in a great way.”

Glad about the love he receives from his Indian fans, Sam shares he hopes to visit the country soon. “I’ve never been to India and it’s on my list of places I’ve always been desperate to go. As an actor, I’ve been so blessed and fortunate to visit a few different places. And my hope is that India is going to be on that list one day and that there’s a project that will take me out there. But if not, I definitely have to go because I even have a friend who lives in Goa. So it’s on the list,” he ends.

Mujhe acha lagta hai, kyunki matlab this season thoda confusing hai, kyunki mere abhi tak koi favourite nahi bana hai. So I’m a little like, why haven’t I got a favourite yet? Exclusive! Taapsee Pannu on her Denmark home: There’s a lot of history involved

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Taapsee Pannu who has been dividing her time between Mumbai and Denmark since she started dating and now post marriage to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, says they are in the process of finishing the interiors of their vintage home. Opening up on her new home for the first time, she says, “It is a huge house that was built around 1907. There’s a lot of history involved and we wanted to restore as much as possible, there’s vintage furniture that’s been there for decades, which I did not want to get rid of. We requested the previous owners to let us keep it. Labour is extremely expensive in Denmark and transportation, storing things in warehouses costs a bomb so people prefer to sell their stuff. We were lucky to inherit all the vintage lamps, furniture, paintings and chandeliers, it goes with the vintage theme of the house, classic Danish designs.” She adds that the new elements include paintings by Indian artistes, collections from their travels, a new staircase and additional bathrooms.

Taapsee’s house in Denmark

Taapsee says having help from Mathias’s father who was a former architect goes a long way, since the couple is doing the decor themselves. “What is strange for Danes but normal for us Indians is that Mathias’s parents live with us, they have their own space on the ground floor, their bedroom, living room, dining and lounge area. It’s the most Indian thing I brought into the house and it took us a while to convince them because it’s not so common to live with grownup kids in Danish culture. Since we keep travelling we wanted someone to come home to, and it’s a beautiful feeling, it truly feels like home, ” says the actor.

Speaking about their taste in interiors Taapsee says, “Mathias and I have some common tastes but in some matters we agree to disagree, However he’s left most of the interiors to me and his parents, who were also kind to let me decide. However, I discuss with everybody before making any decision.” She adds that while Denmark is “poster perfect” the language barrier is a challenge. “I didn’t feel the need to learn the language until the past few years when we bought the house and had to interact with the locals, read documents so I thought it’s a good idea to know Danish, I can understand and construct basic sentences.”

Taapsee in Denmark
Taapsee in Denmark

Speaking about how she divides her time between both countries she says, “It depends on work. We are lucky that most shoots happen in winter as that’s the best season to shoot in India. Very rarely do we have shoots in the summer and rainy season, which is when it is summer in Denmark. We end up spending time in Denmark during peak summer and return to India when the rains subside.”

Sharing her love for Denmark as well as India she says, “In Denmark, the air feels so good and so does the water. There’s a certain dopamine in the air, it gives you a high breathing that air and living that life, which can be addictive. I look forward to turning my life upside down when there, you need to do everything yourself, cooking, cleaning, from buying a milk carton to bread and butter. We cycle at 6am to get groceries. If you need to fix something, you have to hammer the nail yourself. In India it’s easy to get support for your smallest of needs, unlike Denmark but in Denmark it’ the DIY life.”

The actress reveals when she’s back in India, desi food is all she needs on her platter, she says, “I try and have Indian for all meals, right from breakfast of chila and upma, to khichdis. I enjoy food in Denmark, which is different and nice but in India my menu from morning to night is desi food. I love the festive period here, full of dance and music constantly running in the background. I love putting up diyas, drawing rangoli, which I have been doing since I was a child. These rituals are not of tangible consequence but make me feel at home.”

Exclusive: I Was Lucky to Have Aryan Khan Direct Me- Neville Bharucha on The Ba***ds of Bollywood

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

When comedian, actor and improv trainer Neville Bharucha first received a call to audition for Aryan Khan’s show The Ba***ds of Bollywood, he almost turned it down. At that time, he was working as a school teacher and wasn’t confident about doing a Hindi web series, but after some convincing, he agreed. And what followed was one of the best auditions he had done, eventually landing him the role of DJ Adam. Though he had a brief screen time, Neville’s performance left a lasting impact. Filmfare caught up with him for a candid chat where he reflected on his journey with the series, from his first encounter with Aryan Khan and working alongside veterans like Manoj Pahwa, to the surreal experience of meeting Shah Rukh Khan.

How did you land an opportunity of working in The Bads Of Bollywood?

I remember getting the call while I was sitting at Bangalore Airport. I initially refused because I was a school teacher at the time, and my Hindi isn’t great, so a web series didn’t seem like the best idea. But the lady on the phone convinced me to go for the audition. I went, and it turned out to be one of the best auditions I’ve ever done. I remember walking out, calling my wife, and telling her, “I think I’m going to get this part.” And sure enough, a month later, I got a call from the same guy who took the audition, who, by the way, did a fantastic job, too.

How was your first meeting with Aryan? The first time I met Aryan was when I had gone to the Red Chillies office for a table read. I entered the building and I rushed toward the elevator, pressed the button, and someone stopped me from getting in until I heard a voice from inside say, “No, no, let him in.” I stepped in, and there he was, Aryan Khan. He greeted me very warmly as if we had known each other for years, exchanged pleasantries, and I was surprised that he already knew quite a bit about me. He’d clearly done his research, and that was the start of something wonderful.
Can you recall any significant moment from the first table read?

The first feeling I had at the table read was, wow, this is probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever been a part of. That table read was truly fascinating. Watching everyone bring their characters to life was incredible. I remember looking down at my script, hearing the others read, and thinking, Oh my god, the talent these guys have. I honestly couldn’t wait to see how it would all translate on screen, and it turned out outstanding. It was such a wonderful feeling, something I’d never experienced before, and honestly, it was just next level.

What kind of brief did you get for your character from Aryan?
The brief for the character was fantastic. Aryan gave me a clear vision and was super open to my interpretation. He described someone irreverent, fun, deeply focused on his music, confident, and a little out there, and I feel I embodied that well. Everyone seemed to respond positively to the role. It was a super fun character to play. In some ways, it was a bit close to me, but also completely different. I would never wear the clothes DJ Adam wore! Still, it was a blast, and they made me look super cool.
What’s the best compliment you have received for your performance?

All compliments are the best. There isn’t one that’s better than another; it’s just really lovely to have people reach out. Friends from school and college, a couple of teachers, even people I’ve only had fleeting interactions with, have messaged to congratulate me. The most annoyingly sweet part, though, is when people click on my Instagram ads for improv classes just to say, “Hey, I don’t want to take your class, just wanted to say congrats on the show.” It’s very kind, but I pay for every click! So essentially, I’m paying Meta for compliments. Appreciate the love but just DM me, ya! Or better yet, sign up for the class. It’s a fun one.

Tell us about your onscreen and off-screen dynamic with Manoj Pahwa, since most of your scenes were with him.

On-screen and off-screen, it was exactly the same fun, full of masti, and just pure chemistry. From day one, the relationship we’ve shared has had so many unspoken moments that come through beautifully on screen. I’ve had the best time shooting with him. He’s such a brilliant actor, there’s so much depth even in the things he doesn’t say. It was truly my absolute pleasure, and honestly, a privilege to work with a veteran like him.

Was there any scene where you broke character or improvised?
For me, comedy comes naturally, so luckily, this wasn’t a very serious character. There was never a moment when I broke character; it all flowed together. A lot of my reactions to the dialogues came instinctively and were probably improvised. Some moments here and there were definitely added on the spot. But that’s the beauty of it, even I, as the actor, can’t always tell what was improvised and what was scripted. It’s all merged seamlessly into one for me.

What kind of a director was Aryan?

Aryan was an incredible director; he has the best facial expressions, so he can always communicate exactly what’s going on in his mind. He’s very open to your interpretation, too, so we’d often try multiple variations of the same scene, which made the process so exciting. He’s always encouraging, always present with his thoughts, and so sharp and thorough that it genuinely inspires you to give your best. Calling him calm would be an understatement; he’s one of the most chilled-out people I’ve worked with. You hear stories about high-pressure sets, but Aryan made everything feel effortless. I was genuinely lucky to have someone like him direct me; I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Did you get to interact with SRK on or off set?

We’ve met a couple of times, and it’s always been surreal. You see, this man is probably the most loved person in the entire world, and yet, when he talks to you, it feels like you’re the only person that matters in that moment. First time at Mannat; it was late, we were about to leave, and he just came up to us and started chatting. When it was time to go, he personally came and saw each of us out and said goodbye individually. He’s the warmest gentleman around, a true testament to what good values and genuine kindness look like. It’s no wonder the entire world loves him. Even when he met my wife at the screening, he was an absolute delight. She was over the moon. Her exact words to me after meeting him were, “Our marriage has finally paid off.”

Neville Bharucha
Tell us something special about the premiere night…

The premiere night was surreal, the kind of thing people dream about. You hear about it, you see it, but when it actually happens to you, it’s a blur. Walking the carpet, meeting all the people you’ve shared the most wonderful times with, seeing your work on the big screen, going on stage, meeting everyone, it was something else entirely. Afterwards, everyone was so gracious and happy to be together; the whole gang was buzzing with joy. As much as it felt like a culmination, it was really just the beginning. The world hadn’t seen the show yet. In short, it was the perfect start to the rollercoaster of the past few weeks.

What’s the one most significant moment or memory that you would take away from the show?

What I really enjoyed was the time on set when everyone was together, me, Lakshya, Raghav (Juyal), Manoj sir, and Anya (Singh). We’d all have lunch together, and it was such a nice hour to decompress, chat, and just hang out. Those moments, where we really got to know each other, are some of the nicest memories I’ve ever had.

Just a lot of improv teaching, tons of kids’ creative writing classes, improv classes, and doing improv shows. We have shows almost every week or every alternate week at The Habitat, which is always amazing because I love performing live and making people laugh. Those shows are a blast. On top of that, I teach weekend improv classes that I run, and just soaking in everything the work has to offer. That’s about it.

‘High Potential’ Exclusive Sneak Peek Gives Morgan and Ava Update After Fight About Roman

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Can Elliot (Matthew Lamb) get his mom Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) and sister Ava (Amirah J) talking after their fight about Roman on High Potential? Well, he’s starting to plant the seeds for just that in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, October 21, episode.

In the clip, Elliot wakes Morgan up to show off his Halloween costume. “A sassy friar?” she guesses. “A science friar?” After he explains who he is, he notices the backpack on the bed and asks about it. “Let’s just say it’s the reason your sister and I aren’t exactly talking right now,” Morgan says. “What’s she doing? Is she still up, too?”

Elliot tells her, “She’s barely come out of her room since you grounded her. I think you should talk to her.” Though Morgan, at first, declines to take that advice, she does eventually cave, but she also has to be happy when work calls so she can continue to put that off. Watch the full video above for more from Morgan and Elliot — and a “special guest” offering an opinion.

In this episode, aptly titled “Chasing Ghosts,” as Halloween approaches, the team investigates a spooky case where a wealthy lawyer is found dead in his haunted Victorian mansion. Captain Wagner (Steve Howey) surprises everyone with his skills. Plus, Elliot plays mediator between Morgan and Ava.

The backpack in question in our clip above belonged to Ava’s father, Roman, whom Morgan has been trying to track down. Ava had convinced Roman’s friend, Arthur (Mekhi Phifer), to give them the bag so Morgan can look through it and see if it can help. Morgan wasn’t happy about Ava following her to her meeting with Arthur, but her daughter argued that Morgan’s the same way. Morgan then told her she’d decide how much she’d involve Ava in the stuff with her dad until she could trust her again. It was after Ava walked off that Morgan found Roman’s bag on her front step.

What’s your theory about Roman? Let us know in the comments section below.

His favourite game(s) to play with family or friends, or Diwali- “Of course, cards. I’m very big on that. I’m a Delhi kid, so I’ve played Teen Patti all my life, and I’m pretty good at it too. So, of course, this is a no-brainer. I play Teen Patti, which is a card game, on Diwali.”

His favourite spot to visit to see crackers being lit- “I don’t know any spots where I can see firecrackers burning in Mumbai. Like I said, not so big on firecrackers anymore. But as we speak right now, I can hear the firecrackers being burst outside my house in my society. The kids are pretty big on that. So that is the best side because I love the society kids, and they are my good friends. And just to see them enjoying makes me feel happy. So I would say my society.”
