EXCLUSIVE: Rakhi Sawant Recalls Casting Couch Encounters, Makers Saying ‘Aao Palang Garam Karo’

by jummy84 November 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Rakhi Sawant candidly opened up about her experiences with casting couch incidents in Bollywood. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, she recalled how women were often lured with false promises to become heroines. Rakhi shared that she was unaware of such manipulations at the time. She emphasised how societal awareness has improved, but also highlighted that women still face harassment today. Scroll down to read what she said.

Rakhi Sawant Recalls Casting Couch Encounters

When asked if she faced any casting couch incidents in Bollywood, Rakhi Sawant admitted, “Bahut hua casting couch ka zamaana, aisa hota tha ki raat ko bola jaata tha, ‘Aao, palang garam karo, subah heroine ban jao.’ Main boli, ‘Aisa kaun si heroine banti hai bhai?’ Main toh bachchi thi, mujhe toh maloom hi nahi tha ki palang kya hota hai, palang garam kya hota hai! Main toh sochti thi, shayad niche sagdi-vagdi rakhni hoti hogi palang ke neeche, tab garam hota hoga! Mujhe kya maloom tha yeh sab? Abh toh mujhe sab maloom hai, ab toh main mature ho gayi hoon, badi ho gayi hoon, mujhe maloom hai, what is the meaning of ‘palang garam’. Us time mujhe samajh hi nahi aata tha.”

Rakhi Recalls Her Mother’s Strict Role

She continued, “Main apni maa ko bolti thi, aur meri maa kehti thi, ‘Nahi jaane ka, tu ek acche khandaan ki beti hai. Aise jagah pe nahi jaane ka.’ Meri maa mujhe raat ke 8 baje ke baad kahin nahi bhejti thi. Woh kehti thi, ‘Jo karna hai, subah jaldi uth ke kar. Gym ja, yoga kar, horse riding kar, saare classes kar, acting class, dance class, kung fu, karate, taaki director bole, yeh aata hai, woh aata hai! Acting aati hai, tragedy aati hai, Meena Kumari aati hai! Bas palang garam karna aata hai? —Nahi aata!’ You understand what I’m saying? Yeh sachchai hai bilkul.”

Cocnluding, she said, “Offers toh itne aate the, bhar-bhar ke aate the, bhai. Jab kisi ka aage peeche koi nahi hota, koi godfather nahi hota, toh kuch luchche gande log aise offers karte the. Us time pe na unhe khauf tha, na social media ka darr. Agar us time pe aaj jaise social media hota, main kehti, ‘Haan bhai, bol kya chahiye? Palang garam karna hai? Bol jaldi bol!’ Poore world mein uski zindagi bhar ki badnami ho jaati. Log uski chittha jala dete. Uska palang aisa garam hota, aisa garam, ke uske pant ke andar koyle garam ho jaate! Samajh rahe ho na aap? Aaj koi ladki ko galat nahi bol sakta. Phir bhi r*pe hote hai, phir bhi ladkiyon ko mara jaata hai. Main kehti hoon, main ladkiyon ki strength hoon.”

Rakhi On Casting Couch Encounters In Bollywood

Rakhi Sawant has publicly acknowledged that she faced the casting couch as a struggler in the film industry. But she emphasised that she was able to succeed without compromising her integrity, thanks to her talent and ability to say no. She shared that, although she was a victim early in her career, not every producer or director was guilty, and she managed to carve her path through skill and perseverance.

Jeffrey Epstein Survivor, Lisa Phillips, Tell-All: "I'd Never Speak Out If He Were Still Alive"

Lisa Phillips, Survivor Tells All (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

On this episode of ‘Stepping Into The Shade Room,’ Lisa Phillips, a former model, survivor, and now advocate, sits down to detail her experience with Jeffrey Epstein and his global trafficking network. Phillips explains it all — from how she was introduced to Epstein, to his infamous island, the public figures attached to him, and how she’s healing from the trauma she endured. Scroll below to watch as Lisa Phillips exposes it all while speaking with host Thembi.

Lisa Phillips, Jeffrey Epstein Survivor, Tells All: Explains How They Met

According to Phillips, she met Jeffrey Epstein in 2000, back when she was working as a model. A fellow model reportedly informed her that she had a friend who owned an island. What initially appeared as an innocent evening turned into her and her friend being summoned to massage Epstein. Per Phillips, that night, Epstein physically and sexually abused her and her friend.

“Jeffrey had a way of abusing girls. It was a massage that turned into abuse, and he liked to use objects and things,” Phillips explained to Thembi.

In the time that followed, Phillips says she was consistently contacted by Epstein’s cohorts and “reeled” back into his proximity. This, reportedly because of the famous figures she had spotted on the island. Furthermore, Phillips explained that Epstein even helped forward her modeling career, even landing her a deal with Katie Ford of Ford Models.

“Naively, I thought, ‘Yeah, you did something bad to me. [Now,] you’re doing something nice for me. Thank you,’ and that was going to be the end of it — stupidly thinking that way. [But] when you get involved with somebody like that, they don’t let you out of the circle… I know this now. I didn’t know this then,” Phillips explained.

More On What The Woman Shared

Scroll above to watch as Lisa Phillips details the abuse she experienced at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein. Additionally, she explains whether or not she believes he committed suicide, and more.

Akriti Negi REACTS To Dhanashree Verma Using Divorce As Sympathy Card In Rise And Fall
Bollywood

EXCLUSIVE: Akriti Negi REACTS To Dhanashree Verma Using Divorce As A Sympathy Card

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Akriti Negi shared her candid thoughts on Dhanashree Verma’s comments about her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal on Rise and Fall. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, addressing the sensitive topic, Akriti expressed that dragging Yuzi’s name repeatedly isn’t fair, especially since he represents India on an international platform. She further added that such personal matters should be handled with caution on public shows. Akriti stated that one-sided perspectives can appear biased and ultimately lead to unfair judgment of both individuals. Scroll down to read more and watch the full interview.

Akriti Negi REACTS To Dhanashree Verma Using Divorce As Sympathy

When asked about Dhanashree Verma using divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal for sympathy on Rise and Fall, Akriti Negi said, “Pehli baat, Yuzi…kya bolun? To Yuzi Chahal Bhaiya — Yuzi Chahal ji. Yuzi Bhaiya mujhe aisa lagta hai ki woh India ko represent karte hain, unke liye khel rahe hain. Toh mujhe lagta hai unka naam har jagah drag karna it’s not a good thing. Definitely, abhi itna bada case hua hai, jo bhi hua aur aapko pata hai ki aapka naam uss cheez se connected hai, aur aap ek bahut bade show mein aa rahe ho jahan personal cheezein nikaali jaayengi.”

She continued, “Toh mujhe lagta hai aapko thoda alert hokar chalna chahiye, taaki aap apne muh se koi galat baat na bol dein. Kyunki yahaan sirf aapko nahi, aapki ex-partner ko bhi judge kiya jaayega. Mujhe pehle laga tha ki Dhanashree apni personal life ke baare mein kuch bhi baat nahi kar rahi hai. But after the show jab maine dekha, toh mujhe laga ki unhone sirf ussi topic par baat ki, jo ki galat hai. Kyunki wahan par sirf unka perspective dikhaya gaya, doosre person ka nahi. Aur woh cheez unfair ho jaati hai.”

About Dhanashree’s Divorce

On Rise and Fall, Aahana Kumra accused Dhanashree Verma of using her divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal as a “victim card.” Verma discussed her divorce, prompting Kumra to say Verma sought an unfair advantage by referencing personal struggles. Verma defended herself, stating her talent helped her despite personal issues, and she felt the need to address her past. Kumra argued Verma focused on her personal life and used it for sympathy. The clash ended with Verma in tears, sparking viewer debate over the incident.

Trial 2 Actor Pamela Bhutoria Singh: Vidya Balan & Kajol Embody Qualities of Shakti Devi | Exclusive

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Actress Pamela Bhutoria Singh has carved a space for herself across Bengali cinema, Bollywood, and the OTT landscape. She was most recently seen in the second season of The Trial, where she shared the screen with Kajol. In conversation with Filmfare, Pamela reflected on her first day on the set with Kajol, the warmth and power of working alongside women like Vidya Balan (in Kahani) and Kajol, the pressures of navigating today’s social media-driven acting world, and the kind of stories that continue to draw her in.
You shared the screen with Kajol in The Trial 2. What was your first day with her like? How was her energy?

I remember being so nervous and excited on my first day. My very first shot was with her, and as I walked into the set and saw her, I was completely fangirling. She walked past me, and we exchanged looks. I think she wasn’t sure yet that I was the one playing Chitrangada. We finally met during the shot, and my director had to remind me, “You are this sassy, confident, and very smart individual who holds her own.” But there I was, acting like a little girl in awe.

What I’ll always remember about Kajol is her spirit. She’s so young at heart, full of life, and incredibly energetic. She laughs loudly, she’s kind, funny, and has this wonderfully high-spirited personality.

In the show, I played the “other woman”. The one who had a relationship with the man she liked. Off-screen, our chemistry was absolutely normal. Kajol was very nice and polite to me on set. There were no negative exchanges or emotions between us in the show, but her character was naturally a bit alarmed that someone else had entered Vishal’s life.
You have been a part of other good films as well. What’s your most vivid memory from that set with Vidya Balan?

Both Vidya Balan and Kajol are absolute powerhouses. Incredibly strong female leads. What they have in common is their kindness. They’re both very accommodating, aware of their power and position, and they use it beautifully. At the same time, they’re simple, grounded women — brilliant actors, accomplished individuals, and wonderful daughters. They embody all the qualities of Shakti Devi; powerful, enterprising, beautiful, and strong.

You’ve transitioned between Bengali cinema, Bollywood and OTT. What one digital-era skill do you think every actor now must master?

pamela
In today’s digital era, one skill every actor should master is self-promotion on social media. I personally lack the knack for editing videos, shooting the right content, or knowing exactly what to post. But unfortunately, it has become a necessary part of our profession now. I still believe that an actor’s talent should be judged by their performance — how well they deliver dialogues, embody a character, and act. Earlier, actors needed to know how to ride horses, perform action, sing, and dance — but now, sadly, mastering social media has become just as important.

How do you now choose roles that push beyond surface appeal into character depth?

I choose my roles based on the character — whether I resonate with it, and if I feel any emotion or empathy toward the person I’m portraying.

When you’re not acting, what kind of digital content do you personally love and consume?

When I’m not acting or working, I try to disconnect from digital content and go back to reading books, because I often find myself scrolling too much — something I absolutely dislike. I also listen to a lot of podcasts, especially on topics like health, body anatomy, and psychology.

What’s one performance of yours that you wish had gotten more attention?

Bobby Moynihan, Ely Henry Play Older Woody and Phil (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Bobby Moynihan and Ely Henry will play older versions of their NCIS: Origins characters, Woody and Phil, in the NCIS half of the crossover.
  • The crossover event begins on Origins with a naval officer’s death and continues on NCIS with a prison break that reopens the case, featuring Woody and Phil providing pivotal evidence.
  • Executive producers from both shows explain why Woody and Phil are the characters who are crossing over in this way.

Yes, NCIS and NCIS: Origins may take place 30 years apart, but the upcoming crossover will still feature some of the same characters in both hours (including Vera, played by Diany Rodriguez and Roma Maffia) — and actors as well!

TV Insider has learned exclusively that Bobby Moynihan and Ely Henry will be playing older versions of their Origins characters, forensic analyst Woody and chemist Phil, on the mothership. We also have exclusive photos offering a first look at the two alongside Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). See them above and below.

For the crossover, the two shows swap timeslots, so that the action begins on Origins, with a death of a naval officer in a small town. Then, on NCIS, a prison break leads to the present-day team reopening the case.

The executive producers across the two shows — David J. North and Gina Lucita Monreal on Origins and Steven D. Binder on NCIS — all agree that Moynihan and Henry are hilarious.

CBS

“We just adore them, and we knew it would be a treat to see them later on,” North tells us. “Also for us on Origins, Gina and I have a plan for certain of our characters and in some, we don’t want to give away whether they’re still around or alive in 33 years because we want to stick with the plan that we have. But you get breaking news here, Woody and Phil survive NCIS: Origins, no matter how many seasons it lasts.”

As for what brings them in on NCIS, “they’re going to have a piece of evidence that’s pivotal to the case,” says Binder. “They’re hysterical. I was on set while they were shooting and the writer [Marco Schnabel] was laughing hysterically with it. I walked out, and he was laughing hysterically with his headphones on, and I said, ‘It’s bad form to laugh at your own work like that.’ And he goes, ‘They’re just off in their own world right now. They’re doing their own thing.’”

He echoes what North pointed out, that this shows that Woody and Phil survive Origins and beyond. (We already knew Vera would, since Maffia previously appeared on the mothership.)

“Here’s the danger in doing an episode like this. These are cop shows. People have gotten killed over the years. We lost Jenny Shepard [Lauren Holly]. We lost Mike Franks [Muse Watson]. We lost Ziva’s father [Michael Nouri]. Vance [Rocky Carroll] lost his wife [Paula Newsome]. We lose a lot of people. I think that lessens the drama a little bit, knowing that there aren’t any real stakes. There’s real stakes to these shows,” Binder explains.

He continues, “And if somebody appears 30 years in the future, well, they become a superhero on NCIS: Origins. Any situation they go into, you will never really feel that they’re in jeopardy because you’ve seen them alive. So, what characters did David and Gina want to bestow that superhero power to? That sort of drove a lot of it, was if we show them 30 years from now, then they can never be in mortal danger again. And Woody and Phil just seemed like the right people to not want to ever play that card with because they’re a different sort of ingredient on that show. And also you could bring the two of them together, the two peas in a pod. They’re sort of like a little unit, and we are a humor-based show, and those guys are funny.”

What are you hoping to see when Bobby Moynihan and Ely Henry’s Woody and Phil cross over? Let us know in the comments section below.

Will ‘The Lowdown’ Return for Season 2? Ethan Hawke Breaks Down the Finale Episode (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • The Lowdown star Ethan Hawke discusses the show’s season finale episode, “The Sensitive Kind.”
  • The actor teases what could happen next after the ending.
  • Plus, get an exclusive peek at an intimate conversation between Hawke and costar Kyle MacLachlan.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for The Lowdown Season 1 Episode 8, “The Sensitive Kind.”]

The debut season of FX‘s ragtag noir The Lowdown, from creator Sterlin Harjo, came to an explosive ending as the mystery behind Dale Washberg’s (Tim Blake Nelson) death was unraveled by Tulsa’s resident “trusthstorian,” Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke).

The episode, “The Sensitive Kind,” opened up where the previous episode left off, moments after Lee had chased Akron businessman Frank (Tracy Letts) into the One Well Church helmed by Mark Russell (Paul Sparks). As Lee realized he’d stepped into some real potential danger amidst the neo Nazis, Marty (Keith David) entered the space and claimed he was undercover and taking Lee into custody.

The ruse lasted only seconds for the men to get out the door and into Lee’s van, but they didn’t get away unscathed as Marty got grazed by a stray bullet when the One Well group charged after them, guns ablaze. While the men ultimately got away, Lee faced the consequences of his actions when artist Chutto (Mato Wayuhi) broke his shop window in retaliation for his grandfather Arthur’s (Graham Greene) death, which was unknowingly put in motion when he called Betty Jo (Jeanne Tripplehorn) and she sent Frank in search of Dale’s lost will.

While Lee told Chutto the land Dale had wanted to gift Arthur belonged to him, the young man didn’t want it, and that left the reporter to rethink his next move. As he tried to piece his latest story together, Lee faced his relationship with his daughter, Francis (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), who read a poem about his breakup with ex-wife Sam (Kaniehtiio Horn), which also forced Lee to reconcile his role as a father.

Shane Brown / FX

After he left Dale’s letters to his daughter Pearl (Ken Pomeroy), Betty Jo called Lee up, enraged and wanting answers, but that was exactly what Lee hoped for. The pair met in a neutral spot, and while Lee couldn’t say if the letters revealed that Donald (Kyle MacLachlan) was Pearl’s biological father, the conversation revealed that she had knowledge of Dale’s true death.

Lee took that and went off to write his story, but he recruited Marty to get Donald to a neutral location at Cyrus’s (Killer Mike) office to allow the political candidate an opportunity to read it first and offer a statement. Lee explained that Dale had been shot accidentally and was originally meant to be scared into selling his land. When Lee relayed to Donald that he had an opportunity to do something good with Dale’s legacy, he decided to gift the land to the Osage and cut ties with the wealthy power players in the area.

The episode concluded with Lee attending Sam’s wedding to Johnny (Rafael Casal), where he wished the newlyweds well, and set a boundary with his daughter, putting her best interest ahead of his own by telling her to stay full-time with her mother and stepfather. It was both a buttoned-up and open ending in a way that leaves us satisfied and hungry for more.

Below, star Ethan Hawke breaks down the finale’s highlights on community, filming alongside a star-studded ensemble, and the importance of story. (Plus, get an exclusive look at an intimate conversation between Hawke and MacLachlan in the video below).

I loved that book shop moment from the beginning, where Lee interacts with Dale, and later in the episode, when Donald asks if they ever met, Lee says he never did. Was he lying, or did he just not remember meeting Dale?

Ethan Hawke: It’s kind of wonderfully mysterious, isn’t it? In my imagination, Lee didn’t remember that he’d met him until right then, all of a sudden. Sometimes that happens to you. You’re like, “Oh, wait, I remember something I hadn’t remembered before.” But he doesn’t have the confidence to verbalize it. Or maybe he always remembered, I don’t know. But it kind of gets at the wonderful nuance of truth-telling and how we all shade and hide the truth for when it makes sense to us and when we want to. And that’s how a lot of accidents happen.

That confrontation at One Well Church when Marty has to step in and save Lee is tense. How was it filming that sequence?

It was such a strange day of shooting to have all these unbelievably talented people there. I mean, Tracy Letts is one of the great American playwrights, and there he is acting with us, and Tom McCarthy is a brilliant filmmaker himself, and he’s there. Keith’s so genuine, a bona fide legend. I’ve loved Paul Sparks’ acting forever; he is one of my favorite actors. And so it was a great group of people. One of the fun things about playing Lee is that he’s just always thinking on his feet. He doesn’t really have a plan, and sometimes he’s really brave but in a stupid way. None of it’s thought out, and I don’t think he thinks through that moment. He’s just chasing [Frank] into that church, not really thinking about what he’s going to do, and then he’s just a cat trying to stay alive.

Keith David and Ethan Hawke in 'The Lowdown'

Shane Brown / FX

Speaking of Lee not thinking things through, he ultimately got Arthur killed in the previous episode because he spoke too openly in front of Betty Jo, and Lee is on the receiving end of Chutto’s anger because of it. Was that a learning moment for him? Will he be more careful moving forward?

I think it’s what pushes the show into the deep end of the pool. It’s that sometimes all these characters — Lee and everybody — they’re breaking hearts and doing good and bad things simultaneously, and that’s the complexity and nuance of real life. Good guys don’t wear white hats and bad guys don’t wear black hats. I do think that scene that you mentioned with Chutto is the first real smack of humility that Lee gets. He sees himself as a caped crusader, and he’s forced to stare in the mirror and see that he’s not clean. And the great thing about that is if you can absorb humility the right way, it can lead to compassion. It’s what makes him able to make the necessary compromises to put aside the article he wants to write and write a different article that actually could serve a good purpose, and also helps him to be a good enough man and father to show up for his daughter at his ex-wife’s wedding.

Lee and Donald’s conversation in Cyrus’s office reveals that he didn’t know Betty Jo had gotten Dale killed. How important is it for Lee and Donald to share that moment of connection that leads to Donald handing over Dale’s land to the Osage?

Whether he’s doing that just to get out of trouble or whether he is doing it to be a good person, we don’t really know, but it doesn’t really matter. He’s doing the right thing. My favorite part of the show is when the season starts with Lee comparing Donald Washburg to Adolf Hitler, which is what we do when we want to demonize somebody today. The left wing calls people Adolf Hitler, the right wing calls people Nazis… And of course, at the end of the show, he realizes, this is a human being trying to play the cards he’s dealt. He thinks he’s a good person. He didn’t know that his brother was murdered; he wasn’t a part of it. He did look the other way when it was to his best interest, which is exactly what Lee’s done.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kaniehtiio Horn, Rafael Casal, and Ethan Hawke in 'The Lowdown' finale

Shane Brown / FX

Did you know how Dale’s death really unfolded throughout filming, or did you learn when filming the finale episode? How did that process unfold?

The process was so mysterious. It really started with Sterlin having this idea for a show, and I don’t think he really knew exactly where it was going. He knew how it was going to end, and he knew what the feeling was. How we got there was mysterious to all of us. In a lot of ways, the show’s really about community, and the mystery is in service of the characters, which is why I love it.

In one of our first conversations about it, we talked through the wedding scene with the daughter and knew that was what it had to drive towards. It’s Lee’s journey about what it means to be a good man and how we can view our sensitivities as strengths and not weaknesses. The whole murder mystery part of it had some movement as we told the story. I used to make up stories for my kids when they would fall asleep, and sometimes, when you just let your subconscious roll, great stuff happens. They would fall asleep [and I’d be like] I’ve got to go write that down, but then I could never remember it.

Where do you think Lee and Francis stand after he tells her to live with her mother full-time? Is there a sense of rejection there?

It’s wonderfully nuanced because for the first time, he’s really trying to see what is in her best interest, and he sees that she has a good stepfather and that they have a good thing going, and that might be a great resource and value to her. He’s not seeing her life as a reflection of him, but as her own life. And so, in a way, it’s a mark of wisdom, and in another way, it’s really disappointing to her. She wants to be loved wholly and completely and blindly. And I think the feeling I get from that last scene is that they’re going to find their way, but I would love to do a second season just because her character’s getting to be a really interesting age and her problems are going to get more complicated. It’d be wonderful to see Lee try to parent a teenage daughter.

The full-circle nature of Lee gifting Samantha the painting he stole in the premiere episode is so satisfying. Is there more to uncover in terms of their history?

I think so, definitely. I mean, Tiio and Rafael are such great actors, and I would love to see the ongoing dynamics between all three of them. I would love to see future parent-teacher conferences where they all sit there and pick her.

Have there been any discussions about where the show might go if it’s picked up for Season 2?

Of course, we can’t help but daydream, but the truth is, I feel really proud of Episode 8. I love the way the show resolves, and I’m excited for audiences to see it. And the TV gods have to decide whether or not there’s an audience for it.

Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim Break Down Matt and Serena’s Season 2 Relationship Status (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • St. Denis Medical stars Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim, and Wendi McLendon-Covey break down the Season 2 premiere.
  • Leeper and Kim discuss the latest development in the relationship between their characters, Matt and Serena.
  • McLendon-Covey discusses Joyce’s progress with the hospital’s birthing unit.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the St. Denis Medical Season 2 Episodes 1 & 2, “Aloha, Everyone” &”Mama Bear Activated.”]

St. Denis Medical is back, and there’s been a major development on the Matt (Mekki Leeper) and Serena (Kahyun Kim) relationship front, as Season 2 kicked off with the episode “Aloha, Everyone.”

In the installment, viewers discover that while Serena requested to be stationed in a different zone from Matt, after learning he’d had a crush on her, she was shocked to discover he’d asked the same thing. In their time spent apart within the hospital, it also seems as though Matt’s gotten over his crush, which gives Serena a lot to think about.

“They just met in Season 1, so there’s plenty of time for them to learn about each other without Matt being in crush mode,” Leeper tells TV Insider about the revelation. “Also, he has kind of bigger fish to fry, like learning how to do his job.” When Serena learns about Matt’s request from Alex (Allison Tolman), she attempts to get him to admit he put in the request and is notably offended.

Justin Lubin / NBC

But is the offense more about his seemingly disappeared crush or him lying about getting some space? “Well, I don’t think she deals well with it. Nobody likes somebody not liking them back,” Kim tells TV Insider.

“There’s a lot of ups and downs, a lot of give and take,” she teases of their Season 2 dynamic. “And it’s very exciting. When I read the scripts with Matt and Serena, it makes me, like a fan, kind of [get] butterflies. So, I’m sure the audience will feel the same way,” Kim adds.

Ultimately, the duo agreed that they were friends and promised they wouldn’t force themselves to work in different zones going forward, but the door appears to be open regarding romantic potential. Meanwhile, Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) was busy putting some unique touches on her birth center at the hospital, built with the funding she received last season.

“Not to say that this is all gonna go smoothly or that she got all the permits that she needed or that all the construction was done right, but she did put a lot of effort into those themed rooms,” McLendon-Covey notes.  While her vision may not be the final outcome for the hospital, she has the support of her staff, who rally in the face of emergencies, both medical and non-medical.

What will happen next? Stay tuned as St. Denis Medical Season 2 carries on, and let us know whether you’re rooting for Matt and Serena or not in the comments section below.

When asked if films like Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2 hurt women if replicated in real life and if she thinks such films shouldn’t be made, Parul Gulati said, “I think it’s about how you tell the story. Comedy has always exaggerated situations to entertain. As long as the humour doesn’t come from putting women down, it’s fine. The world needs laughter, but also awareness.”

As seen in the promotional material released till now, the film sees Kapil Sharma’s character romancing four partners played by Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati, Ayesha Khan and Hira Warina.

On being asked her thoughts on people – both men and women – having multiple partners and hiding relationships, the actress replied, “It’s just not right in my opinion, one should have clarity if they want a committed relationship or just an open relationship (which I truly don’t understand why people sign up for it). But in my opinion, being loyal and committed to one person is so sexy.”
