David Attenborough Becomes Oldest Daytime Emmys Winner Ever at 99

by jummy84 October 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Dick Van Dyke‘s record as oldest performer to win a Daytime Emmy didn’t last long. At this year’s ceremony, legendary British broadcaster, writer and naturalist Sir David Attenborough has made history, winning the 2024 Daytime Emmy award for outstanding daytime personality – Non-Daily — for Netflix’s “Secret Lives of Orangutans” at the age of 99. (He turns 100 next May.)

That makes him a hair older than Van Dyke, who previously set the record last year at 98 when won the guest performer in a daytime drama series Daytime Emmy last year via his spot on Peacock’s “Days of Our Lives.”

Attenborough’s win was one of three for Netflix’s “Secret Lives of Orangutans,” which also won directing team for a single camera daytime non-fiction program.

Attenborough won over Brad Bestelink, “Living with Leopards” (Netflix); Andi Sweeney Blanco, Courtney Dober, Rob North & Kirin Stone, “The Fixers” (BYUtv); Anthony Mackie, “Shark Beach with Anthony Mackie: Gulf Coast” (National Geographic); and Martha Stewart, “Martha Gardens” (Roku).

Attenborough is known as one of the world’s most famous natural sciences broadcasters, starting with 1954’s “Zoo Quest.” As a narrator, his more recent successes include include “Planet Earth” and its sequels, “Blue Planet” and its sequels, “The Green Planet,” “Wild Isles,” “Dinosaurs: The Final Day With David Attenborough,” “Life In Colour,” “Frozen Planet” and more.

Here’s the logline for “Secret Lives of Orangtutans”: “Orangutans are not just one of our closest relatives, they’re perhaps more relatable to us than any other great ape. Narrated by David Attenborough, this film follows a remarkable group of orangutans in the pristine jungles of Sumatra. At the centre of this story is 8 year old Eden, who’s about to embark on the most challenging moment of her life.”

The 52nt annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Daytime Emmys Winners 2025

by jummy84 October 18, 2025
written by jummy84

UPDATED with latest winners: The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmys, otherwise known as the daytime soaps’ biggest night, are underway Friday in Pasadena, CA.

Among this year’s nominations leaders to look for during tonight’s ceremony emceed by Mario Lopez at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium are CBS’ The Young and the Restless with 19, ABC’s General Hospital with 16, Peacock’s Days of Our Lives with 13, The Drew Barrymore Show (syndicated) with nine and The Kelly Clarkson Show (syndicated) with eight.

So far, early winners include Drew Barrymore, who won for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host. Later, her show faces off in the Daytime Talk Series category against last year’s winner Kelly Clarkson, The Jennifer Hudson Show, Live with Kelly and Mark and The View.

Also tonight, Apple TV’s The Secret Lives of Animals has taken three Emmys including for Outstanding Science and Nature Program, and Netflix’s Black Barbie, which won for Outstanding Arts and Popular Culture Program and for writing.

Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless‘ Susan Walters and General Hospital‘s Jonathan Jackson have already won their respective supporting categories.

Only three daytime dramas will vie for the top prize for Outstanding Drama: General Hospital (last year’s winner), Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences says the default target is five, but guidelines state that “in any category where there are fewer than ten (10) submissions, no more than 50% of submitted entries may be nominated. This is a longstanding rule that the National Awards Committee is enforcing across all competitions to ensure the integrity of NATAS competitions and maintain the reputation of excellence for nominees.”

Sadly, a new player in the sudser world won’t be competing this year. CBS’ Beyond the Gates just bowed in February of this year; the eligibility window for this year’s Daytime Emmy nominees ended on December 31, 2024. Beyond the Gates, which has been renewed for a second season, will be eligible next year.

Titans’ Season 2, Emmys Recognition

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet debuted the first season of their drag competition series The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula in 2016. Now, fast forward nearly a decade later, the main series is gearing up for its seventh season while the second reiteration of their all-star spinoff, Dragula: Titans, is currently airing.

“I think when we first came up with the concept of the show, we knew where we wanted it to go,” Dracmorda tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I think it’s just literally a force of will that kept it going,” Swanthula adds.

The Boulet Brothers‘ Dragula is a perfect blend of horror and competitive reality TV, differing greatly from fellow juggernaut RuPaul’s Drag Race. The show recently earned its second wave of Emmy nominations, with the Boulet Brothers predicting it’s only a matter of time before Dragula earns the coveted outstanding reality competition program.

“I would love to see us snag an Emmy,” says Dracmorda. “I think it would be important for what we do, but also it would be important for queer people in general, right? That a project that is so itself and unapologetically queer is recognized and respected, I think says a lot to society as a whole.”

In a chat with THR, the co-hosts tease how season two of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans will differ from season one, explain how the show differs from Drag Race, what they see in the franchise’s future and which horror film franchise they’d want to join.

***

This is the second season of Titans, which features a cast of former Dragula competitors. Looking back to the first season of Dragula to now, what has it been like to see what the show has evolved into?

DRACMORDA It’s been exciting, but I’m not gonna say it wasn’t expected. It sounds arrogant to say, but I think when we first came up with the concept of the show, we knew where we wanted it to go. It was our first foray into TV, so we just believed it would happen (Laughs). You know, our dreams hadn’t been crushed a hundred times. So I can’t say that it’s not something we imagined.

SWANTHULA When we were younger and wilder and crazy enough to start our own TV project, people were telling us that it wasn’t going to succeed, and you had to do it this way and you had to do it that way. But I think it’s just literally a force of will that kept it going, and now it’s evolved. And I feel grateful that a lot of the spirit we created way in season one has remained in the show. Somehow we have maintained a level of control where we don’t water our concepts down, and the audience sees a true vision of what we want to create.

Dragula is a spooky show, and we are deadset in the middle of spooky season. Where does both of your love for horror come from?

DRACMORDA Horror is just a part of who I am. From as early as I can remember, I really loved the world of Halloween and horror movies. I [was] literally four or five years old watching Dracula by myself at my grandparents house while everybody’s asleep at night. I don’t know what it is about horror [that] just made me feel comfortable and a place that I wanted to exist in.

SWANTHULA I was heavily involved in the theater. I love the drama and the theatrics of a haunted house, Halloween and horror, and in my world, it sort of all connected. It’s like this dark fantasy, which I have always kind of felt connected to. Even in some of our other projects, there’s always been kind of like this dark element, ever since I was a child.

DRACMORDA And your mom said, “You can’t just walk around wearing a black cape and black lipstick.” And you were like, “You know what?”

SWANTHULA Yes, I can (Laughs).

Why do you both think queer people specifically resonate with the horror genre so much?

DRACMORDA Oh, this is a big one. I think queerness and horror go hand in hand. If you look back to the origins of horror and film, look at James Whale, who directed some of the most famous universal monsters that we still talk about to this day. You know, queer people relate to the monster because you feel other in your life, so it’s a very familiar feeling. And I think that queer people connect with those monstrous, misunderstood figures. Not to mention how many characters were the killer or the scary person in horror movies, and they happen to be trans or in drag or whatever. You think of Psycho, Dressed to Kill…

SWANTHULA Rocky Horror Picture Show. I mean, there’s a gigantic list of [films with] cross dressers as the scariest thing on earth.

DRACMORDA The list goes on and on. I think queer people connect with horror in a big way. I don’t think the two are separable.

This past Emmys cycle was the second time Dragula was nominated. What has it felt like to receive this recognition for the second time from the Emmys?

SWANTHULA It’s wildly surreal, honestly. But at the same time, when we’re in the room, I don’t feel like we’re out of place. Looking around, it’s some of the most prominent creators in TV, and some of those people are just as intrepid, I think, into new territories as we are. So we kind of feel at home. At the same time, it felt like, Oh, my God, pinch me. Is this happening?

How long do you think it will be until Dragula receives that outstanding reality TV program nom?

SWANTHULA It should have already happened (Laughs).

DRACMORDA No, honestly. If it was based on quality, it absolutely should have already happened. I think we’ve learned a lot about awards and how the TV industry works. And, you know, there’s a machine there, right? There’s game play, and it’s not necessarily friendly to newcomers. It’s something you have to kind of figure out. So if it was purely based on the quality of the product, I think it should have been nominated already.

Is Emmys recognition a goal with Dragula, or is that just a perk that comes along with the show’s growth?

DRACMORDA It’s something that I didn’t expect, but now that it’s happened, I really appreciate it and I value it. I would love to see us snag an Emmy. I think it would be important for what we do, but also it would be important for queer people in general, right? That a project that is so itself and unapologetically queer is recognized and respected, I think says a lot to society as a whole.

SWANTHULA Yeah, I think that goes for the fans, the competitors and even the crew. And to get that recognition, I think they would kind of be filled with just as much pride as maybe we would.

For Emmys voters [and the general public’s] wider knowledge of drag competition shows, that brings up RuPaul’s Drag Race. If a fan of Drag Race who had never seen Dragula came to you and said, “How does Dragula differ from Drag Race?” What would you say to them?

DRACMORDA Well, before we answer that, I want to throw some respect out to them. Because I do believe that if it wasn’t for Drag Race, I don’t know that we would be at the Emmys. I think they were really masterful at working the system and having the TV industry look at them as serious contenders versus camp or unserious creators. So I want to give them some respect, first of all.

And as far as what’s different between Dragula and Drag Race, I think Drag Race is more of a “TV program.” I think our show is more raw and gritty. It’s a little more Fear Factor. Drag Race is sort of produced for mass appeal. Our show is not, and I think that’s the big difference.

Dragula casts a wide array of drag artists. [Dragula features] trans artists, “traditional” assigned male at birth [queens], AFAB queens [and more]. Why is it important to cast a broad spectrum of drag artists that are not represented in wide stream reality shows?

SWANTHULA Well, part of it is because they aren’t represented, right? And they can be, but it’s a choice that they’re not. And for us, AFAB performers and trans performers, that’s part of the real world. If you go into a green room or back room at a drag show, you’re going to see across the board a huge variety of people, and all of them are worthy of a spot and a chance to shine in the light and not in the shadow. And we take that opportunity because we can.

DRACMORDA Yeah, and again, Drag Race is trying to market to the broadest person and I think they thought, It would confuse people if we put on a drag king or an AFAB performer. And that’s where we differ, because we don’t care. Like, this is what it actually is like in the drag community to perform, and this is what we’re going to present unapologetically. And I think that’s the difference, right there.

You both have highlighted how reality TV can be damaging for those who go on these shows. Why is it important for you both to bring light to that issue, whereas some reality TV shows don’t shed light on that issue?

DRACMORDA I think that by saying that, if you’re a production company or a network, you’re sort of admitting that you’re part of the problem. And I don’t think people are comfortable with doing that. You know, we create reality TV: we control the edit, we ask the questions, we’re producing the show, so there’s a certain amount of responsibility I think some people maybe feel uncomfortable with. We’re not, because we don’t manipulate people’s stories. I mean, it’s kind of that simple. Do we want there to be juicy moments? Yes, but most the time when people display bad behavior, that’s what they do at home. I mean, if you’re not that kind of person, you’re not going to be that kind of person on camera, no matter what we do.

SWANTHULA And it’s just like the conscientious thing to do, right? I remember learning those difficult lessons having been on television [for] only one or two years, and just how assaulting it can be to have your persona out there in the public eye and have anybody with a keyboard and the will to do it be commenting on you, attacking you, criticizing you, and it’s a hard lesson to learn. So, yes, we want to make juicy TV. But we don’t want these oftentimes young artists to come out traumatized by television. So we do everything we can to kind of prepare them for that.

DRACMORDA And at the same time, it’s the real world we live in. I mean, society is so polarizing now. You’re either left or right, you’re bad or you’re good — there’s no in between. There’s no space for people to make mistakes or to be shades of grey. You’re either black or white, and that’s it. And I feel like that’s really dangerous, and unfortunately, that’s what politics are like now. That’s what being in the entertainment industry is like now, and it just comes with the territory.

Dragula is about to head into its seventh season and you’re now in the second season of Titans. Do you have any ideas for more potential spinoffs? Where do you see the future of this growing franchise going?

DRACMORDA I think the limit is within Shudder and AMCs hands, because we have a million ideas. It’s just how much Dragula do they want on their network a year? And maybe the fans can encourage them and influence them on their decision (Laughs).

SWANTHULA I think as long as the appetite is there, as long as the fans are as passionate and as excited about Dragula as they have been, we have so many ideas. Drac and I, I like to say this, we’ve been in a creative conversation for 20 years, and we have lists upon lists about ways to tweak the experience and make it more interesting. But we really also are excited about potentially getting into the scripted world. We have a lot of ideas about what a Boulet Brothers horror movie would look like, and hopefully that is in the pipeline soon.

What else can you tease about the rest of Dragula: Titans season two? How is it going to differ from the first season?

DRACMORDA Oh my god, it’s so different. It’s like night and day. I think the first iteration of Titans was almost like us sticking our toes in the water to explore what an All Stars format would feel like. And we learned a lot from it, partially from how vocal the fans were. You know, it’s weird. The fans never say, “Hey, we love the cold opens,” or, “We love the exterminations.” But when they’re not there, they certainly let you know. But it’s weird because I don’t know what they’re attached to. Like, the whole [tradition of] dumping a bucket of blood on the winner — I didn’t know that they cared about that until the first season of Titans and they were like, “That has to be there!” Like, okay, message received.

SWANTHULA We literally got death threats because we didn’t dump blood on Victoria [Elizabeth Black, the winner of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans season one].

We did learn a lot from the first season of Titans. And this year, we looked at each other and said to ourselves, “We are going to deliver in spades everything that people love about the show.” The best extermination challenges, the Fright Feats, the Ghostly Gallows, twists and turns, betrayals — like we loaded it, and I can’t wait for people to see it.

What is next for Dragula and The Boulet Brothers?

DRACMORDA We’re really excited about hosting Knott’s Scary Farms. We’re in love with that place, and there’s been such an illustrious line of horror hosts there before us, with Elvira, Wolfman Jack and Sinister Seymour. We’re very proud of that. We’re focusing on that and looking forward to the development of a full show there next year. Definitely scripted projects from us. We’re working on a holiday horror anthology special that’s coming out around Christmas, so you’ll see some scripted stuff from us that is more aligned with the work we would create that people probably wouldn’t expect. As far as Dragula the brand, Dragula is a monster with its own willpower and its own luck factors. So I think you’re going to be seeing a lot more of Dragula in the future.

If both of you had to enter a horror film franchise, what film would you want to be in?

SWANTHULA Hellraiser.

DRACMORDA Halloween. For me, 100 percent, and that’s exactly what should happen, because I know how to pull it all together. I have a master plan.

SWANTHULA I don’t doubt Drac’s power, but I just love the darkness. I love the creativity of Clive Barker, I love the twisted world, the pain and pleasure. Like, it’s Hellraiser for me.

Eric Dane Reveals Why He Missed Emmy’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Reunion

by jummy84 October 3, 2025
written by jummy84

While Eric Dane missed a recent planned Grey’s Anatomy reunion, he made a hospital visit on Emmys night last month.

Following his ALS diagnosis, the actor revealed he was “getting stitches put in my head” after losing balance and falling in his kitchen, shortly before he was scheduled to present with fellow cast alum Jesse Williams at the 77th annual awards show.

“ALS is a nasty disease. I missed an opportunity I was really looking forward to,” Dane told the Washington Post. “It would have been great to see Jesse and get reunited with some of my peers, and to be able to present in front of my colleagues, I thought would have been a special moment. So I was really upset about it, but you know, there was nothing I could do about it.”

After the Emmy producers revealed the planned reunion for America’s longest-running primetime medical drama, in which Dane played Dr. Mark ‘McSteamy’ Sloan, Deadline reported that Dane pulled out of the appearance at the last minute, and Williams presented solo.

The Euphoria star previously revealed his diagnosis to People in April. “I have been diagnosed with ALS,” he said in a statement at the time.

“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week,” added Dane. “I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.”

The Mayo Clinic describes ALS as “a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord,” causing a “loss of muscle control. The disease gets worse over time.”

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody’s 2025 Emmys Prep Was Full of Laugh Attacks, Tunes, and Skincare

Everybody wants this glow-up! Leighton Meester and Adam Brody turned heads at the 2025 Emmy Awards at Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sept. 14, but before the couple hit the red carpet, they indulged in pre-show rituals that set the tone for the night.

Celebrity makeup artist Bethany McCarty and groomer Kim Verbeck shared all the behind-the-scenes details on the pair’s prep with ET, which was equal parts fun and equal parts glam.

Before the actor and actress slipped into their coordinating Prada ensembles, with Brody in a pale blue suit and Meester in a baby pink gown, the beauty pros perfected radiant looks for the duo.

“With Leighton, we used the Bubble cleanser, layered serums, cream, and eye cream for a fresh, dewy base,” McCarty explains. …If we have time, I’ll do some light lymphatic drainage massage while applying cream to de-puff and wake up circulation. If not, I keep the application gentle but intentional.”

For Brody, the approach was just as thoughtful. “I always like to start with the cleanest skin possible and then move into the most moisturized,” Verbeck shares. “After applying the Enhanse Super Moisture, I use a couple massage techniques to get rid of tension and add some lymphatic drainage.”

Their meticulous pre-show routines ensured both stars shined on and off camera.

“Good skin prep is everything. It keeps makeup seamless, fresh, and youthful without any heaviness or creasing,” McCarty says. “The better the skin looks, the less makeup you need.”

Verbeck adds, “The entire grooming process is usually around 30-40 minutes and ultimately, I get the skin to a matte finish for the event.”

Once their luminous skin was set, the Gossip Girl went on to fully embrace a retro prom aesthetic.

“Leighton’s ’60s inspired gown alongside Adam’s tux led us to a classic cat eye, rosy cheeks, a matte lip, a hint of shimmer to echo her dress, and a soft nod to Brigitte Bardot with her hair,” McCarty shares.

And the energy in the room was just as vibrant as their get-ups.

“It’s always a fun vibe with our whole crew,” Verbeck dishes. “There’s always music playing and we’re all making each other laugh and having good conversation.”

McCarty continues, “It honestly feels like playing dress-up with a friend. We have at least one major laughing attack, catch up about life and our kids, and just have fun.”

What Did John Oliver, Hannah Einbinder Say When Bleeped at Emmys 2025

What Did John Oliver, Hannah Einbinder Say When Bleeped at Emmys 2025

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

For an awards show hosted by clean comedian Nate Bargatze, who avoids using foul language in his stand-up sets, the 2025 Emmys featured a surprisingly high number of f-bombs.

The CBS telecast of Sunday night’s awards ceremony had its sound cut out multiple times for home viewers as a number of winners peppered their acceptance speeches with curse words.

At one point, Bargatze even joked, he was going to start a swear jar.

So what did those bleeped winners say? Read on to find out.

Hannah Einbinder

The Hacks star won best supporting actress in a comedy, her first Emmy for her work in the fourth season of the Max series, and ended her speech with some pointed political remarks. While her “free Palestine” cry is getting attention, prior to that she also declared “Fuck ICE,” calling out the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency that’s been particularly active during Donald Trump’s second term, as the president has pushed for massive deportations of suspected illegal immigrants.

John Oliver

The Last Week Tonight host continued his Emmys winning streak, nabbing his third consecutive trophy in the scripted variety series category after his HBO show was recategorized. When he took the stage to accept his award, Oliver spoke fast, seemingly in an attempt to get his full speech within the allotted time, after Bargatze had declared that long speeches would deduct money from a charitable donation to the Boys and Girls Club.

“Fuck you, Nate Bargatze, that is a lot of money for you!” Oliver said, as he neared the end of his remarks. “And you can add a ‘fuck’ to the swear jar as well.”

Erin Doherty

The Adolescence actress, who won for best supporting actress in a limited series, praised her award-winning colleagues Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham and her family members before thanking the Television Academy, saying to the awards organization, “you’re all fucking stunning.”

Seth Rogen

Rogen won multiple awards on Sunday night, but it was when he won his final prize of best comedy series for The Studio that he colorfully expressed his regret for taking so much money away from Bargatze’s donation (not to worry, the host announced at the end of the show that the organization would receive a $350,000 donation after all).

After sharing his gratitude for all of the love shown to The Studio, Rogen joked, “If anyone else wants to say something, we’re already in debt. We fucked over the Boys and Girls, so.”

Margot Robbie is one of Hollywood’s most popular names. Long before starring in the 2023 box office giant Barbie, the Australia native made a name for herself as an actress and producer. It’s been two years since she graced the big screen, and she’s been busy raising her child, whom she welcomed with husband Tom Ackerley in late 2024. So, why do people think she attended the 2025 Emmys? Find out what we know here.

How to Watch the 2025 Emmys Now

The 2025 Emmy Awards are currently streaming on Paramount+ for those who missed the live broadcast.

Was Margot Robbie Nominated for an Emmy in 2025?

No, Margot was not nominated for an Emmy Award because she did not star in nor produce any of the Emmy-nominated TV series. Her latest television show, Sirens, premiered in May 2025, and could potentially be nominated for an Emmy at next year’s awards ceremony.

Was Margot Robbie at the 2025 Emmys?

No, despite some confusion among fans, Margot did not attend the 2025 Emmy Awards. Two days before the ceremony took place in Los Angeles, the Aussie was in London to promote her new film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. The UK premiere was held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, and she visited BBC Radio One to discuss the new movie. Margot was spotted walking into the radio show in a Chanel outfit.

Why Do People Think Margot Robbie Was at the Emmys?

It’s unclear why quite a few on the internet thought that Margot attended the 2025 Emmys, but since she’s one of the world’s most renowned actors, people likely hoped to get another glamorous sighting of the Barbie star.

After all, Margot made quite the fashion statement on the red carpet at the London premiere of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. She wore a completely sheer beaded dress.

Has Margot Robbie Ever Won an Emmy?

No — though Margot is one of the most lauded actors in the film business, she has not won an Emmy Award yet. The I, Tonya, star is mostly known for her performances in feature-length films. However, she got her start on the small screen in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing the role of Donna Freedman. She then appeared in Pan Am as Laura Cameron.

Kristen Bell Wore All Armani to the Emmys

Kristen Bell Wore All Armani to the Emmys

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Last night at the Emmys, Kristen Bell was nominated for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her role as Joanne in the romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This. Her character’s unlikely romance with Rabbi Noah, played by Adam Brody, captured the hearts of thousands. I’ll be the first to admit I rewatched their first kiss scene more times then I’d care to admit. Almost everyone else who I know who watched it did the same. But can you blame us? The show felt like the feel-good story everyone really needed right now. And it proved that the art of the rom-com isn’t just limited to the movies.

For the big night, Bell wore all Armani, down to the beauty. Her makeup artist, Courtney Hart, told me her inspiration for Bell’s look was drawn from the gown itself. She also admitted Bell’s already beautiful skin helped. “With Armani being so timeless, I wanted to focus on that signature luminous skin. The first thing that stood out to me was that black strapping detail on the dress, so I mirrored that with a very delicate black wing using the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil and a touch of black Eye Tint to add intensity and depth,” she said.

“I kept everything skin focused with the Luminous Silk Foundation for that iconic Armani glow, she added. “On the cheeks, I brought in a hint of those soft, pinkish tones you see in the dress’s shimmer using the Luminous Silk Cheek Tints and a light dusting of powder blush. The whole look is classic yet modern and lets Kristen shine in a way that feels effortless, current, and chic.”

As for the look itself, Bell told me how it all came together, below.

Did you have a vision for what you wanted to wear to the Emmys? Was there a specific look or aesthetic you were inspired by?

Kristen Bell: I honestly didn’t have a specific vision! We had such a wonderful experience with Armani at the SAG Awards that we knew we wanted to collaborate with them again. The couture collection showed in July, and Nicole requested our top looks day of the show, then we secured current options as well as one option from Prive FW 2024. We had our fitting in August and narrowed it down to 3. We knew it was the one immediately!

Can you tell me about the look? How did you decide on it and what do you love most about it?

KB: I love the architectural black beaded bodice, the sheer embroidered skirt is delicate and feminine. The detail on the skirt is insane, the sequins catch the light in the most beautiful way! It’s modern, sculptural, and romantic all at once —— it’s rare to find a gown that feels both powerful and delicate at the same time!

What is your approach to red carpet dressing? Does it feel in line with how you dress in your day to day or different?
