Briana Adams Eliminated in Episode 5 and Channing Wilson Wins the Night

by jummy84 November 17, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • The November 16 episode of The Road featured the group two hitting the stage in Oklahoma City.
  • The five artists each performed an original song and a cover song before being rated by the audience.
  • At the end of the night, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban chose one contestant to eliminate from the bottom two.

The second group of the Top 9 artists hit the stage in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on the Sunday, November 16, episode of The Road. This week, five singers performed a cover song and an original song while opening up for Keith Urban, with his audiences rating the performances on their phones afterwards.

At the end of the night, Urban and Blake Shelton revealed the top-rated performer, and then they decided who would be going home out of the bottom two. One singer took a big risk by singing a powerful cover song, but it ended up coming back to haunt her.

Scroll down for a recap of the performances and to find out who went home.

Channing Wilson

After being in the Top 3 in Week 1 and finishing at the top of his group in Week 2, Channing Wilson knew he had to keep the momentum going. He performed “The Weatherman” as his cover, and Urban noted, “He’s so relatable. As soon as he starts talking, I like him immediately.”

CBS

For his original song, he sang “Gettin’ Out of My Mind,” which he described as a “honkey tonk and boot-stompin’ kind of song.” Urban said it was a “great choice” and that Channing “played to the room perfectly. Shelton added, “I want him to keep going!”

Shelton also noted that this show could finally be Channing’s big break, at which point, Urban pointed out, “If Jelly Roll can win Best New Artist at 39…”

Billie Jo Jones

Billie Jo Jones’ confidence was at an all-time low after her last performance in Dallas, Texas. This week, she was still fighting the illness that’s been plaguing her throughout the competition.

Billie Jo Jones

CBS

Still, she came to the stage with a powerhouse vocal cover, singing Martina McBride‘s “Broken Wing.” Her original song was called “Whose Tequila Are You Drinkin’?” Shelton said, “I thought she did good. My only critique would be that she followed Channing, and that’s a tough task.”

Briana Adams

Briana Adams’ cover song choice of “I Will Always Love You” by Dolly Parton was “concerning” for tour manager Gretchen Wilson, who admitted that she wasn’t sure it was a risk that would pay off.

Briana Adams

CBS

However, Urban said he “liked” the performance, although he later noted, “I wouldn’t choose it as my cover in a rowdy bar.” Shelton admitted, “I sit here a million times and say, ‘Why don’t they do a song that everybody knows,’ and of course everybody knows ‘I Will Always Love You,’ but just … something about that felt like … she overshot it a little.”

Briana’s original song was called “Belle of the Beer Bash,” which had the crowd holding their drinks up in the air. “She was pretty good,” Urban said. “I don’t know what she could’ve done differently.”

Adam Sanders

Adam Sanders sang “Heads Carolina, Tails California” for his cover, which Urban said was a “good choice.” Wilson pointed out that Adam has “a lot of confidence, as far as stage presence, vocal ability, song writing ability,” but added that he’s “only showing us one kind of side” with his performances.

Adam Sanders

CBS

He changed it up a bit with his cover, singing a power ballad called “Burning Roses” instead of a more up-tempo song. “That was a good combination,” Urban confirmed. “His voice was suited to the original. That’s his spot right there. The cover didn’t suit him vocally, but it was a good choice. The crowd loved it. He can work a crowd.”

Shelton agreed, adding, “That guy … he should be a politician.”

Britnee Kellogg

Closing out the show was Britnee Kellogg, who began her set with a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”

Britnee Kellogg

CBS

“Britnee’s one of those vocalists where you don’t realize how powerful she can really be because she’s sort of soft spoken, then all of a sudden she hits these notes when she gets up there that are really incredible,” Shelton raved.

Britnee’s original was a personal tune called “She’s Come a Long Way,” and Urban said, “Britnee did great. That’s a really hard cover, and then her original connected to that audience.”

Who went home on The Road Episode 5?

After the show, Urban revealed that Channing once again received the highest rating of the night. Unfortunately, Billie Jo and Briana were in the bottom two. The guys ultimately decided to eliminated Briana.

“You both sounded really incredible,” Shelton confirmed. “For us, we feel like from the connection that was had here tonight on stage, Billie Jo was the one we’re going to move forward to next week.”

Briana admitted that she “figured as much” and acknowledged that her cover song choice was a “gamble.” Although she got emotional, she added, “Thank you so much for this opportunity. I got to come here and be unapologetically myself.”

Adam, Channing, Billie Jo, and Britnee will be joining Cassidy Daniels, Jenny Tolman, and Cody Hibbard in the next city: Tulsa, Oklahoma!

Jon Wood Is Eliminated in Episode 3 as Cassidy Daniels Shines

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Episode 3 of The Road featured five artists hitting the stage as Keith Urban’s openers in Dallas, Teaxs.
  • They each sang one original song and one cover song, with the audience rating their performances.
  • Urban and Blake Shelton eliminated one contestant from the bottom two at the end of the episode.

After six artists took the stage in Dallas, Texas, on last week’s episode of The Road, it was time for the remaining five to have their turn on the Sunday, November 2, installment of the show. They all opened for Keith Urban with one original song and one cover song.

The audience rated the performances, leaving Urban and Blake Shelton tasked with making another elimination from the bottom two. Scroll down for a recap of the night and to find out who went home.

Jon Wood

Jon Wood performed “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” by Toby Keith for his cover, which Urban said was a “smart choice.” Meanwhile, Shelton noted, “I love when he gets into his Ronnie Dunn sound.”

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

His original song, “Go Out Like That,” was dedicated to his late grandfather who died from COVID-19. Urban said he picked the right cover song, but Shelton was worried that his vocal on the original wasn’t strong enough.

“I couldn’t tell if he was just emotional or if that wasn’t the right key,” he admitted. “I didn’t feel like he had a grip on it.” Urban agreed that it “felt like an unstable pitch through nerves.” Gretchen Wilson also noticed Jon’s nerves and pointed out that he doesn’t “seem to have the confidence that some of the others do.”

Cassidy Daniels

After she landed in Week 1’s Top 3, Cassidy Daniels knew she had a lot to prove in order to stay on top. Her cover song choice was “Angel From Montgomery,” since her dad had a dream that she performed that song on the show.

Cassidy Daniels

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“At least in country, I can’t think of anyone to compare her to,” Shelton said, with Urban adding, in agreement, “Not with that thick, creamy tone like that.”

Cassidy’s original was a song called “Heart Shaped Necklace,” which she wrote after an ex gave her a heart shaped necklace on their third Valentine’s Day together and she realized he didn’t know her at all.

“I love her. I swear, there is nobody like her,” Shelton raved. “She writes melodies that she knows she can dig into vocally.” Urban said that Cassidy is the “one to watch right now.”

Forrest McCurren

On the opposite side of that spectrum was Forrest McCurren, who was in the bottom three during Week 1. Since he’s used to performing original songs, Forrest struggled a bit while rehearsing his cover of Jim Croce’s “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.”

Forrest McCurren

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

He proved he knew how to work the audience from the very beginning of his set, but Urban noted, “He’s pretty good. As a singer, he has a limited voice. He’s a storyteller, he’s not a singer.”

Wilson said that Forrest would really have to “rely on his wittiness and personality” to win people over, and he did just that. Before performing “Get Lucky Tonight,” he threw out some jokes that had the crowd, as well as Urban and Shelton, cracking up.

“I’d be shocked if he’s in the bottom tonight,” Shelton said, with Urban adding, “Yeah, he’s just so likable.”

Briana Adams

Briana Adams was admittedly a bit out of her league in front of Urban’s crowd, as she’s used to performing acoustically to smaller audiences. Urban and Shelton were a bit perplexed by her decision to sing “Goodbye Time” by Conway Twitty for her cover.

Briana Adams

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“I’m always fascinated by how people choose a cover,” Urban admitted. “Some people choose them, like, ‘Oh, this is the kind of music I’m going to play,’ but for me, I’d be like, ‘This is how I can get the audience on my side, so then I can do my own song.”

After Briana sang her original song, “Honky Tonk Romance,” the guys were a bit underwhelmed. “The audience knows if you’re not giving it your all,” Urban pointed out. “It’s the approach of, ‘I do this in other bars and they seem to like it…’”

Shelton agreed. “Maybe that’s what it was,” he said. “‘I do this a lot and I sound good on it,’ or whatever, but it’s not always about that, you know?” On the other hand, Wilson thought Briana was “great.”

Billie Jo Jones

Billie Jo Jones was the final performer of the night, but she was still feeling a bit under the weather. It was an emotional night for her, too, as her grandparents, who raised her, were in the audience.

Billie Jo Jones

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

After performing her cover, “Why Haven’t I Heard From You” by Reba McEntire, Billie Jo introduced her grandparents to the crowd and explained that they raised her because her mom is a drug addict who she’s only seen twice in her life. She dedicated her original song, “She Did,” to the duo who stepped up when her own mother didn’t.

“I like the emotion of the second one,” Urban said. Shelton admitted, “I think her original song went over better than her cover. I just think she struggled a bit to get to some of those notes.”

Urban also noticed the hoarseness, but said, “She knows how to lift those choruses up. I think it’s really good.” Billie Jo got emotional after getting off stage and said it was “one of [her] worst vocal performances,” but she got some love from her grandparents, who met her backstage after the set.

Who was eliminated on The Road Episode 3?

After the show, Shelton and Urban told the singers that Cassidy once again got the highest rating from the audience. “You just continue to blow people away with your connection to the audience,” he assured her.

Jon and Forrest were the bottom two. “I think you both had really good moments,” Urban told them. “As far as getting that crowd going, it was hard for you, Jon, because you were the first out of the gate, but I think you held your own. Forrest, I think you’re such a good storyteller. Your original tonight, particularly, with the opening lyrics … any crowd is going to be in.”

In the end, Urban said he felt like Forrest “had the edge” in Dallas, so Jon was eliminated. He kept his head held high, telling Urban and Shelton, “I don’t feel like I necessarily lost at all. I had a good time out here.”

Now, just nine artists are left, and their next stop on the road is Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Taylor Swift’s Ex Backup Dancer Jan Ravnik Eliminated on ‘DWTS’

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Jan Ravnik’s reputation as Taylor Swift‘s backup dancer precedes him, but unfortunately, her song wasn’t the good-luck charm he might’ve hoped for on Dancing With the Stars.

The dancer and his celebrity partner, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Jen Affleck, were eliminated on the show’s Tuesday (Oct. 28) episode after performing a contemporary number set to the pop superstar’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Look What You Made Me Do.” Honoring the night’s Halloween theme, Ravnik channeled a rugged vampire while Affleck wore a spooky blood-red outfit.

After spinning, flipping and twirling their hearts out, the pair received a score of 34 from the judges. Later in the episode, they were eliminated.

“I got all the love from this show,” Ravnik said in a post-show interview with Entertainment Tonight, noting that he was “proud” of Affleck, regardless of the results.

The episode comes shortly after the Slovenian performer drew criticism from former DWTS pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, who called Ravnik’s casting on the show into question on a recent episode of the latter’s The Penthouse With Peta podcast. “Jan has absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing With the Stars,” Chmerkovskiy said at the time.

“There’s zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership,” he continued, while Murgatroyd added, “Hiring a non-ballroom dancer to teach ballroom dancing to a celebrity as a job is outrageous.”

But while speaking to ET, Ravnik responded to the criticism by saying, “the people who’s trying to stay relevant, spreading the hate, this is not a way to do it.”

Ravnik was a fan favorite on Swift’s global Eras Tour, during which he supported the 14-time Grammy winner for nearly two years on the road. The dancer has continued working with Swift even after the trek wrapped in December 2024, appearing in her recent music video for Hot 100-topping The Life of a Showgirl single, “The Fate of Ophelia.”

Scott Hoying Eliminated on Wicked Night

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

One couple was changed for good during “Dancing With the Stars” Wicked Night.

The Oct. 21 episode welcomed director John M. Chu as the guest judge as pairs danced to hit songs from “Wicked” — with some taking on Elphaba and some taking Glinda.

This week’s scores were combined with last week’s dedication night. Last week, Carrie Ann Inaba recieved a bit of backlash for her criticism on certain pairs, but this week, she gave the first 10 of the season. The score came for Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas’ quickstep. The other judges, with the exception of Derek Hough who went with a 9, agreed with Inaba. At the end of the night, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sousa also received three 10s and one nine — Hough is saving his 10 paddle — for their stunning rumba.

Hough pointed out after Andy Richter and Emma Slater’s jazz routine that it’s the last week, “so we’ll see,” and ultimately gave him a 6. The other judges, however, were more impressed, with the rest giving him 7s.

Last week, Inaba told Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov that their dances were starting to look the same. This week, she applauded Fishel’s courage and said this was her breakthrough dance. Bruno Tonioli said it was “the most difficult song to choregraph” and Hough complimented the difficulty of the routine, calling it “magnificent.” The scores of four 9s gave them a huge boost on the leaderboard.

But it was Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten’s contemporary routine to “Defying Gravity” that left everyone (including Bersten) in tears and on their feet. “I am 54, I am injured and I just did that,” she said after the dance through tears. She landed four 9s for the powerful routine.

After all the dances and the scores combined from the last two weeks, Richter remained on the bottom of the leaderboard, with Leavitt returning to the top. Once the votes were added in — the show hit 100 million votes over the last two weeks — Scott Hoying was sent home.

Here’s a full list of scores from Wicked Night:

Blaine Bailey Is Eliminated and 3 Singers Stand Out

by jummy84 October 20, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers from the premiere of The Road.]

The Road has officially begun! The new show from Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan premiered on Sunday, October 19, with 12 artists opening for Keith Urban at a special performance in Fort Worth, Texas.

Each of the contestants got to sing one original song for the crowd, who then got to rate them on a scale of 1 to 10. At the end of the episode, Shelton and Urban decided who would be eliminated from the audience’s bottom three.

Scroll down for a recap of all the performances and to find out who Shelton and Urban sent home.

Adam Sanders

The first artist to take the stage was Adam Sanders. Shelton has actually known Sanders’ uncle, Scotty Sanders, a session musician in Nashville, since he was just 19 years old.

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

After years of touring and being labeled as “just the songwriter,” Adam is ready to prove he’s so much more. He performed his most-streamed song, “What If I’m Right,” which came out in 2021.

Urban said that Sanders “came out and killed it” and “took charge” of the stage, while Shelton added, “He made you listen to it.”

Britnee Kellogg

Britnee Kellogg, a mom who has not been able to pursue her dream of relocating to Nashville because of her parenting plan with her first husband, performed her song “Hey Mama.” She wrote the song while struggling with postpartum depression after giving birth to her daughter.

Britnee Kellogg

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“I saw a lot of girls relate to that song. Look at her, she’s wiping away tears right there,” Shelton pointed out. Urban said he “likes” Britnee’s voice a lot and that she “just looks like a star.”

Shelton also added, “I got a lot of respect for Britnee. She’s a mother of three, and to balance that with chasing your dream is a lot of work. I don’t know that we have a better female vocalist in the competition.”

Cody Hibbard

South Korea native Cody Hibbard was adopted when she was 13 months old. He attended the Naval Academy, but then struggled with a pill addiction after leaving. He performed his song “Looking Back Now,” which he described as “heartbreak song about growing.”

Cody Hibbard

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“Obviously, he’s limited as a vocalist,” Shelton admitted. “His vocal stays right in that spot. But I don’t know how much that matters, either. He had the audience.” Urban agreed that Cody is “super likable.”

Jenny Tolman

Being on The Road was a big deal for Jenny Tolman, as it was the first time she was touring away from her husband and 2-year-old son. She sang her track “I Know Some Cowboys,” which she said is “always a crowd pleaser.”

Jenny Tolman

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“Jenny’s an artist that’s been able to make it work,” Shelton shared. “Touring, getting out on the road, getting out of Nashville … it’s a super competitive town. She’s done a great job of it.”

Urban admitted that he wanted to see Jenny “work the audience a bit more” and “change it up” a bit throughout the performance. “She’s fun, but we’ve had some really good singers so far. Vocally, she’s going to have to step it up.”

Forrest McCurren

After 10 years of writing songs, Forrest McCurren is ready for life on the road. Even before he performed, Urban noted that Forrest was “super likable,” with Shelton adding, “Forrest walked into the audition for us producers and had us wrapped around his finger in literally five minutes.”

Forrest McCurren

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

However, Shelton also noted that Forrest is “more of a singer/songwriter,” and he wasn’t sure how that was going to play out in front of Urban’s rowdy crowd. Forrest performed his song “Small Prayers, Big Blessings.”

“The crowds later in the tour, they might not be as forgiving,” Urban said. “If he was at the Bluebird Cafe, he’d be great. You’d hear all the lyrics, the storytelling.”

Billie Jo Jones

Billie Jo Jones, a mom of four kids, has been traveling with her band for more than a decade, and admittedly “doesn’t like being told no,” despite the negative responses she’s gotten from industry heads over the years.

Billie Jo Jones

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

Unfortunately, she woke up not feeling great on the day of the performance, and her voice was only at about 80% when she took the stage to perform “Some Girls Don’t Cry.”

It didn’t seem to affect her, though. “She’s not lacking any confidence,” Urban noted. Shelton said, “It’s almost like she wasn’t singing live. Her pitch was that solid. She has that raspy voice, but has that control over it.”

Briana Adams

Briana Adams came to the show from a super small Texas town. She performed a song called “You Only Know the Name.”

Briana Adams

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“I love Briana’s story,” Shelton admitted. “When she walked into the audition, you could tell you’re talking to somebody from a very small town. She writes about what she knows and what she’s experienced and I just have a ton of respect for her.”

Urban said Briana needs to “learn some things with leaning in and backing off, working the mic a bit more,” while Shelton pointed out, “She did get them engaged, though, it seemed like.”

Channing Wilson

Channing Wilson, a cowriter on Luke Combs‘ “She’s Got the Best of Me,” has been touring for 25 years, so he already knows what life is like on the road.

Channing Wilson

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

After Channing’s performance of “Blues Comin’ On,” Urban said, “That song played to every part of his voice,” and Shelton noted, “He’s literally like some country legend we already know somehow. He had them from the first note.”

Blaine Bailey

At 23 years old, Blaine Bailey is the youngest in the competition. He said he enjoys singing about some of the issues he faces as a Native American.

“I was really intrigued by Blaine,” Shelton shared. “You don’t see a lot of Native Americans pursuing mainstream music. The fact that he’s able to take his heritage and plug that into what he does musically gives him an edge that no one else in this competition has, but maybe also no one in country music has, period, that I can think of.”

Unfortunately, his performance of his song “T-Shirt” was a bit underwhelming. “He lost the room,” Urban admitted. Shelton added, “I picked that guy to be on the show. It’s not even about reading the room. You got that message you want to deliver, but you’re also here to win this competition.”

Olivia Harms

Olivia Harms is no stranger to the music industry because her mom, Joni Harms, was a musician in the ’90s. In fact, Olivia’s performance song “Ain’t My First Rodeo” was written after she had writer’s block and then called up her mom for a chat.

Olivia Harms

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

“I’m a big fan of what Olivia does,” Shelton said. “She truly is a cowgirl. How is that going to play out here on the road? I have no idea. It could be huge and it may not work for her. But I do think she’s an important artist to have on this show.”

Urban thought Olivia’s performance “might have been a bit too reserved for this rowdy Texas crowd” and noted that the audience was “getting harder to impress” as the night went on. “They’re like, ‘OK, we heard a lot of good stuff, what do you got?’ Even now, you can’t just say, ‘Texas,’ and get them to cheer. Everyone’s done that. What else you got?”

Jon Wood

Jon Wood said he was basically raise to pursue music. He showed his country roots with a performance of his song called “Too Country,” which is about “not being sorry that [he’s] a little redneck.”

Jon Wood

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

Shelton said that Jon’s voice is “the country voice that truly is like a honky tonk sound” and gushed, “I love that guy. I love his voice.” Urban agreed, but admitted, “I would’ve done the song a little bit higher. So much of it is in this lower point, when he got up higher, it’s like, ‘Oh, good.’”

Cassidy Daniels

After growing up as an Army brat and moving 15 different times, Cassidy Daniels knows she has what it takes for life on the road. Her performance of her song “Crazy Love” also proved that she can back it up.

Cassidy Daniels

Lauren “Lo” Smith/CBS

Urban and Shelton both gave Cassidy a standing ovation. “Now that’s how you end it right there!” Urban gushed. “She’s loose and carefree.” Shelton said his heart was “still racing” after the performance, too.

Who was eliminated on The Road premiere?

After the audience’s votes, Shelton told the group that the three artists who were “absolutely saved” were Cassidy, Cody, and Adam. “You guys just came out swinging tonight,” Urban told them.

The bottom three, though, were Olivia, Forrest, and Blaine. “It sucks, but it’s just about how you connected here in this place tonight with this particular audience that came out to see Keith,” Shelton told the trio.

It was then up to Shelton and Urban to decide who would be sent home, and they opted to eliminate Blaine. “Forrest, you bring such a unique take on performing. The thing you got to figure out how to do is take that guy and connect with people. Olivia, we’re in Fort Worth, Texas. A lot of these people are cowboys that have come into town for the weekend, maybe that particular song wasn’t enough to rile them up.”

He concluded, “Blaine, I think Keith said it best earlier … whatever it is you give them, is kind of what you can expect to get back from them. We felt like maybe you had the least amount of connection with the audience tonight, and for that reason, we’re going to have to send you home.”

The other 11 artists will move onto the next city and open for Urban once again in next week’s episode.

[This story contains spoilers from episode five of Dancing With the Stars season 34.]

It was an emotional night in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom for Dedication Night, and to make the night even sweeter, no one was eliminated from the competition at the end of the episode.

Each celebrity performed a special tribute dance to honor of someone in their life, delivering 10 emotional routines in honor of the cast’s parents, siblings, former co-stars, romantic partners and children. (Read who the professional dancers would dedicate their own number to here.)

Former professional dancer Kym Herjavec also returned to the ballroom, notably serving as the first official guest judge of the season.

Finishing out the fifth week of season 34, the cast is notably dwindling down. Hilaria Baldwin was eliminated at the end of last week’s Disney Night, making her the fourth contestant to exit the competition. No one was eliminated at the end of Dedication Night, meaning the remaining cast comprised of 10 couples all moved onto the sixth week of competition.

The remaining celebrities include Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, Olympian Jordan Chiles, social media star Alix Earle, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efron’s brother) Dylan Efron, actresses Danielle Fishel and Elaine Hendrix, Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin and comedian-actor Andy Richter.

Richter kicked off the night with an adorable salsa alongside his daughter. One of the most highly anticipated numbers of Dedication Night was Irwin’s contemporary to Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart,” which he devoted to his mother, Terri Irwin. And it proved to be a memorable one, as he earned his first three nines of the season, ending with a total score of 35/40 (after sending the entire ballroom into tears).

Fishel dedicated her jive set to the Boy Meets World theme song to her former co-star, William Daniels, also known as Mr. Feeny on the series. The performance landed the actress her first eight of the competition.

Leavitt emerged as an early frontrunner during the first half of the competition, placing as the top scoring couple for four consecutive episodes. Disney Night was the first time she and Mark Ballas pulled ahead as the only couple to place at the top of the leaderboard, and they notably earned the season’s first nine.

However, Efron ended her top-scoring streak on Dedication Night, becoming the first celebrity to earn four nines from each of the judges. The Traitors winner performed his dance in honor of his little sister set to the tune of his elder brother, Zac, and Zendaya’s song “Rewrite the Stars.” Trailing close behind Efron were Irwin and Earle, who both respectively scored 35/40 points.

At the end of (most) nights of the competition, the couple with the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes is eliminated. Live voting takes place during the East coast airing of each show, and ends shortly after the final dance is completed.

See the full list of scores for week five of DWTS season 34 (aka Dedication Night) below.

Andy Richter and Emma Slater: 24/40
Robert Irwin and Witney Carson: 35/40
Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten: 30/40
Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas: 33/40
Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik: 29/40
Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach: 36/40
Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa: 32/40
Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold: 30/40
Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov: 29/40
Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy: 35/40

Season 34 of DWTS airs and streams simultaneously on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays, with new episodes available to stream on Wednesdays on Hulu.

Tuesday kicked off TikTok night on Dancing with the Stars, and luckily enough, there were quite a few social media stars in the ballroom.

Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from the competition at the end of the night. When asked how she was feeling about the results, the Fifth Harmony star replied, “Pissed.”

Last week, couples danced to one-hit wonders, resulting in a four-way tie for the top of the leaderboard, comprised of celebrities Jordan Chiles, Jen Affleck, Robert Irwin and Whitney Leavitt. At the end of the third episode, Corey Feldman and Baron Davis were simultaneously sent home in a double elimination.

Having a night’s worth of competition solely devoted to TikTok paired perfectly with the cast of season 34, which notably includes social media stars Affleck, Leavitt and Alix Earle. Not to mention, a large majority of the competitors have large presences online, including Irwin (with over 8 million Instagram followers), Olympic gymnast Chiles, author-influencer Hilaria Baldwin, season three winner of The Traitors Dylan Efron, Fifth Harmony’s Jauregui, actress Danielle Fishel and Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying.

With growing online showings thanks to DWTS, Elaine Hendrix and Andy Richter round out the cast list.

Jauregui notably danced to Fifth Harmony’s “Work from Home,” with her fellow members of the girl group in the audience there to cheer her on. Chiles took an early lead on TikTok night with her tango to Doechii’s “Anxiety,” which was scored a 24/30, marking the first time three consecutive eights were handed out in season 34.

However, Leavitt swiftly tied the Olympian’s score, earning a 24/30 for her samba to “Shake Ya Ass” by Mystikal. Following close behind was Earle and Efron, who both scored a 23/30.

Aside from the celebrities, the slate of professional dancers are also social media stars in their own right. When reflecting on the newfound virality of DWTS, Rylee Arnold told The Hollywood Reporter she believes her tendency to post online during her first season as a pro in season 32 is where social media began to majorly change the show.

“I feel like that really picked up and resonated with the rest of the pros, with the show, with people online, and we got together a younger demographic of people, and the people who go on TikTok every day, they [saw] the Dancing with the Stars content,” she said. “It only brought more young people to the show. And then the next season, Ezra [Sosa] came on [as a pro dancer] and did the same thing. He really got so engaged, and I think really just kind of showed that people love it. People love when we share stuff online.”

During one-hit wonders night, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli all took to the judges panel for the first time during season 34 after Inaba missed the premiere due to an illness.

Lauren Jauregui Is Eliminated and Her Reaction Is Defended by Fans

[WARNING: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from Dancing With the Stars, Season 34, Week 3.]

Just three weeks into the competition, Dancing With the Stars Season 34 has already had a shocking elimination. Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong were the couple eliminated during Week 3 of the competition.

Jauregui tied with Andy Richter at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 18/30 (they both danced the foxtrot this week). The judges were hard on Jauregui, noting that she needed to add more “pop” and “power” to her performances. Still, tying with Richter, who has done his best, but struggled with the dances so far, was quite a shock.

At the end of the day, Jauregui received less viewer votes than the comedian, and she was sent home. It came down to her, Richter, and Elaine Hendrix as the last three to learn their fate (although Richter and Hendrix were not necessarily in the bottom three, as the results are not called in order).

When host Julianne Hough asked Jauregui how she was feeling afterwards, she had a one-word response: “Pissed.” It was extremely candid, and fans praised her for not holding back. “Lauren Jauregui could not be more right AND SHE SHOULD SAY THAT 👏🏽😤#DWTS,” one person wrote on X.

Someone else said, “And one thing about Lauren Jauregui is she will tell NO LIES. You could feel how upset she was just watching #DWTS #DWTS34.” Other fans expressed their frustrations at Jauregui being eliminated so early, with many noting that they felt Richter should have been the one to go home instead.

“lauren jauregui eliminated week THREE. Andy is STILL IN THE COMPETITION,” someone tweeted. “this is just as rigged as runext idc idc idc wtf was that #dwts.” Another fan wrote, “SERIOUSLY I’M DEVASTATED SHE DIDN’T DESERVE THIS THESE PEOPLE DON’T DESERVE YOU LAUREN JAUREGUI #LaurenOnDWTS,” and someone else said, “Im so devastated & so heartbroken that Lauren Jauregui got eliminated! I’m so pissed! Brandon Armstrong didn’t deserve this! I’m furious that Lauren was horribly robbed! Andy Richter should have went home instead of her! Hilaria Baldwin should not have been saved again! 💔 #DWTS.”

Despite her blunt and candid reaction to the elimination, Jauregui also made sure to gush over working with Armstrong. Meanwhile, the cameras also cut to Jauregui’s fellow Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, and Dinah Jane in the audience, and their reactions also looked disappointed and frustrated.

Who left The Great British Bake Off 2025? All eliminated season 16 contestants

The Great British Bake Off returned to Channel 4 tonight, marking 15 years since the cooking programme made its debut on screens.

This week saw the bakers settle into cakes, as they all had their first opportunity to impress the judges and battle it out for Star Baker.

Up first was the Signature, where the bakers were challenged to produce a perfect Swiss roll that needed an inlay design. Next was the first Technical as the bakers had to produce fondant fancies – and things were particularly difficult as they had to figure out the flavours and recipe themselves.

Finally, it was time for the Showstopper, and the bakers were tasked with baking a landscape cake.

But for one baker, their time was up. Scroll on to find out who left The Great British Bake Off 2025.

Who left The Great British Bake Off 2025?

Hassan – Week 1

Hassan. Channel 4 / Love Productions

Hassan became the first baker to leave the Bake Off tent, with host Alison Hammond having the difficult job of delivering the news he’d be leaving the tent.

After learning his time was up on the show, Hassan said: “I think I am a bit upset, but I did expect it. Everyone is such a phenomenal baker, they are all such lovely people. And even though it’s been a short-lived experience I have enjoyed it. Hopefully I can reflect on some things and then maybe get back to baking when I get a chance.”

Reflecting on the challenges, Hassan admitted he felt the Swiss roll was his worst moment in the tent as “it didn’t come out as planned” and also affected his baking after that.

Hassan added: “Honestly for my first ever bake in the tent to come out looking like that was appalling to say the least, for all the practice and work put into it. On the positive side, it tasted better than it looked, I guess?”

The Great British Bake Off continues on Channel 4 on Tuesday 9th September at 8pm.
