‘Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’ Star Jen Shah Gets Early Prison Release Date After Serving 33 Months

Jen Shah is getting out of prison earlier than expected after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum got her sentence reduced again.

The former Bravo star was sentenced to 78 months in prison after being found guilty of her involvement in a telemarketing fraud scheme that conned people (mostly elders) out of their money.

Shah’s release date had been altered numerous times since her imprisonment, and the latest date, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, was set for August 30, 2026. However, People is now reporting that the BOP has approved a December 10 departure for the former RHOSLC star.

By the time Shah is released from prison, she will have served 33 months behind bars — 45 months less than her sentence.

Before surrendering to prison in February 2023, Shah posted a statement on social media: “I am surrendering to serve a sentence in a federal prison today. It is the price I must pay for the bad decisions I made. People got hurt because of my decisions. While incarcerated, I will work to make amends and reconcile with the victims of my crime.”

Shah’s trouble with the law was chronicled on Bravo’s RHOSLC as cameras captured the moment the reality star was notified that authorities were looking for her. Law enforcement arrived at the filming location, but Shah left the scene and later that day surrendered to authorities. Shah was arrested and indicted on wire fraud and money laundering charges in connection with a telemarketing scheme in which she found herself involved.

Wicked For Good hits theatres this week; here’s how you can catch an early screening

Universal’s second chapter of the Wicked movie musical, titled Wicked: For Good, is headed to theaters on November 21, but the question already doing rounds among fans is how long will it take to appear on a streaming platform. As of now, the studio has not provided an official date yet, leaving people to look at last year’s release cycle for clues.

What is Wicked: For Good about?

The first film, released in November 2024, enjoyed a massive global box office, with collections of more than $756 million, according to Billboard. It is the highest-grossing Broadway adaptation of all time. Wicked also won two Academy Awards out of the 10 nominations it received.

Director Jon Chu said the sequel picks up within minutes of the first film’s ending, with Elphaba rising into the air after “Defying Gravity.” From there, the tone shifts. Chu told Entertainment Weekly that Part Two deals with “consequences,” making this chapter heavier than the setup that came before it.

His line, “If Part 1 is about choices, (Part 2) is about consequences,” has become the shorthand for what to expect.

Does Wicked: For Good have new songs?

Two new songs appear this time: “No Place Like Home” (Cynthia Erivo) and “The Girl in the Bubble” (Ariana Grande), confirmed by composer Stephen Schwartz.

When will Wicked: For Good release online?

There’s no official streaming window for Wicked: For Good. No platform has been named either. But the first Wicked film premiered on Peacock roughly four months after its theatrical rollout. If Universal sticks to that pattern, the sequel would land online around early 2026, as per Florida Today.

Earlier this year, the first movie became free to stream on Amazon Prime Video with a subscription. It remains available for paid purchase on Apple TV+, YouTube, Fandango At Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox and Microsoft Movies & TV.

Early screenings and release plans for Wicked: For Good

Before the wide debut on November 21, a set of advanced showings is taking place:

Ariana Grande is back as Glinda, while Cynthia Erivo returns as Elphaba. The full cast list includes Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Keala Settle, Marissa Bode, Bronwyn James, Aaron Teoh and Colin Michael Carmichael.

Tickets are already on sale through individual theater websites. Universal has not confirmed whether premium formats will have extended screenings beyond opening week.

For now, the only confirmed rollout stays tied to theaters, with the sequel positioned as the heavier and more consequential half of the two-part adaptation.

Sharon Osbourne Protests Release of Black Sabbath’s Early Demos

Sharon Osbourne has shared her disapproval of the impending release of a batch of early Black Sabbath demos recorded while the band was known as Earth. 

In June, just weeks before Black Sabbath’s End of the Beginning concert and Ozzy Osbourne’s death, the band’s first manager Jim Simpson revealed plans to officially release recordings that Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward recorded at Zella Studios in Birmingham, England, in 1969, just months before the foursome changed their name from Earth to Black Sabbath.

The Legendary Lost 1969 Tapes were originally due out in July but have not yet been released, apparently — as Sharon Osbourne revealed on social media Saturday — due to legal wrangling between Simpson’s Big Bear Music and the band themselves, including who actually owns the demo recordings and whether they are out of copyright in the U.S.

In a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, Sharon criticized the plan to release the Earth recordings as well as questioned Simpson’s motives, with Simpson then issuing a lengthy statement responding to Sharon’s claims (via Blabbermouth).

The back-and-forth continued this weekend as Sharon took to social media to once again warn Simpson about the Earth tapes, as well as share emails she sent to Simpson urging him not to release the recordings.

“As you know, the Band do not want these tapes released, not least as they haven’t heard them despite you saying you would provide copies long ago,” Sharon wrote to Simpson in July. “You know that, as a band, Black Sabbath don’t take things lying down and you can be assured that if you go ahead with this against the Band’s wishes we will take any action we an where their rights are infringed, both here and in America.”

Sharon previously accused Simpson of keeping the Earth recordings “quiet for all these years because they’re now out of copyright, which is 50 years.” In addition to protesting the release of the Earth tapes themselves, Sharon took additional exception to The Legendary Lost 1969 Tapes being distributed by Big Bear Records and Trapeze Music. “We would never have allowed any Black Sabbath product to be released” through those labels, Sharon wrote.

The legal threats have ultimately pushed back the release of The Legendary Lost 1969 Tapes, as various online vendors have the album now arriving on varying dates ranging from December 2025 to February 2026, if at all.

Squeeze Revisit Early Unheard Songs On ‘Trixies’

Long before their reign as one of the most erudite bands in rock, Squeeze founding members Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook wrote a bunch of early songs as 1970s teenagers that have never seen the light of day. That will change on March 6, when BMG releases Trixies, the group’s first new album in eight years. The first taste of the music, “Trixies Part One,” is out now.

In 1974, Difford was 19 and Tilbrook 16 as they began writing tracks such as “Don’t Go Out in the Dark,” “You Get the Feeling” and “The Place We Call Mars,” which were set in a fictional club named Trixies. “We fully committed ourselves to songwriting, but this was three or four years before we even got to make our first record,” says Difford. “Long story short, these were songs that we just didn’t have enough musical experience to record properly.”

The “Pulling Mussels From the Shell”/”Tempted” hitmakers revisited the material with its latter-day touring band, including former Roots bassist Owen Biddle, who produced. “The songs that we wrote then astound me. I’m proud of them now, and I’m particularly proud that it was young us that did that. These are very much the same songs that we wrote then,” Tilbrook offers. “The only difference is that now I can teach the songs to the rest of the band. Back then, I didn’t even know what the names of the chords were!”

What’s more, an album of entirely new Squeeze material was tracked alongside Trixies and will be released at some point in the future. To cap the year, Squeeze are touring with Madness in the U.K. through a Dec. 20 show at the O2 Arena in London.

“The act of revisiting the Trixies songs had me in tears, partly because they’re so good, but also because I’m aware of all the stuff that I’ve still yet to hear and write,” Tilbrook says. Adds Difford, “It really fills me with joy that at my age we can discover that we wrote such great songs when we were teenagers. I’m very proud of that.”
