Yungblud cancels all remaining 2025 dates on doctor’s orders: “My heart is broken”

Yungblud has been forced to cancel all of his remaining 2025 shows on doctor’s orders, a decision he has described as heartbreaking.

The singer has been on the road for much of the year as part of his ‘Idols’ world tour and he recently wrapped up a run of shows in North America and Europe. He was due to play a final few shows in the US and South America, but those have now been cancelled.

Tickets for gigs in Philadelphia, Cleveland and Washington DC will be refunded, as will shows in Mexico City and Latin America. Yungblud has also promised “a gift” to fans who had bought tickets for the affected shows.

Writing on Instagram Stories today (November 16), Yungblud has said: “This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns.”

I hope you get well soon. Love you, Dom 🖤 @yungblud #yungblud pic.twitter.com/ymv4b334RB

“It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a fuck about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and I can’t fuck around.”

“My heart is broken,” he added. “I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”

Yungblud is due to play a run of UK and Ireland arena dates in April, a tour that he recently extended due to outstanding demand. You can see the complete list of dates here and find any remaining tickets here.

Before that, he also has a string of Australian shows booked for January, and will play at Lollapalooza India on January 24.

Yungblud released the first part of his latest album ‘Idols’ in June, and it hit Number One in the UK. He told NME of the album days before the first part’s release: “Part one is about the reclamation of yourself: ‘All you are is a self-fulfilling prophecy / A product of your own temptation.’

“Part two is the dark and downward spiral to the inevitable realisation that I’m not going to be here forever – who do I want to spend my life with? Mortality. Part two plummets you back down to earth, and it’s a little bit more cynical.”

‘Idols’ has now been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album, while ‘Zombie’ is up for Best Rock Song. The live version of ‘Changes’ that he performed at Black Sabbath’s farewell ‘Back To The Beginning’ show is also nominated for Best Rock Performance.

Yungblud is also set to soundtrack ‘Trans Is Human’, a new trans-focused photography exhibition at Outernet in London tomorrow (November 17).

His EP with Aerosmith, ‘One More Time’, is also set to come out on Friday (November 21). They released a single from the EP, ‘My Only Angel’, on September 19, marking the hard rock icons’ first original release in over 12 years. The two acts worked together earlier that month to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV VMAs.

Tennessee heart transplant surgeon shares ‘1 vital sign doctors never measure but your phone does every day’

Taking a walk while enjoying your favourite music or podcast can be a great experience, but can it really improve your health? The truth is, even small lifestyle changes, such as walking a little more each day, have the potential to have a big impact on your health. In fact, your daily step count is a vital sign of overall health. Also read | Walking 10,000 steps every day?Fitness expert says avoid these 10 common walking mistakes that limit its benefits

Dr Dmitry Yaranov, a cardiologist from Tennessee, US, who is known as ‘Heart transplant Doc’ on Instagram, highlighted this in an October 22 Instagram post and said, “We measure pulse, breathing, temperature, and blood pressure — but the most powerful signal of all might be hiding in your phone.”

Your daily step count is ‘an X-ray of your heart’

In his post titled ‘The vital sign your doctor never measures but your phone does every day’, Dr Yaranov spoke about the importance of daily step count as a vital sign, stating it’s an indicator of overall health, reflecting heart, brain, nerves, joints, and motivation.

He said: “Your daily step count isn’t just about fitness. It’s an X-ray of your heart, brain, nerves, joints, and motivation — all working together. When your steps drop, it’s rarely random. It’s your body whispering that something’s off.”

‘Movement is medicine’

Dr Yaranov suggested that a drop in step count can be an early warning sign of underlying issues like frailty, depression, or vascular disease. He added that step count could be considered the fifth vital sign, and that movement is medicine. Body vital signs are basic measurements of the body’s essential functions, including temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.

“Frailty, depression, vascular disease — they all leave footprints in your step data. It’s the only ‘vital sign’ that reflects both biology and willpower. Maybe it’s time to admit: movement is medicine. And your step count might just be your fifth vital sign,” he said.

Increasing your daily step count may seem overwhelming or time-consuming, but with a few simple lifestyle changes and modifications, you can reach your fitness goals easily. Click here to check out some tips to increase your step counts.

Back in March, Mötley Crüe postponed their Las Vegas residency under mysterious circumstances, revealing only that their frontman Vince Neil had to “undergo a medical procedure.” Now, Neil is opening up about what happened: He shared with the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he suffered a stroke during his sleep on Christmas and was forced to learn to walk again and underwent months of physical therapy.

He recalled in the interview, “My whole left side went out. I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough. The doctors said they didn’t think I’d be able to go back on stage again. I go, ‘No, no, I’m gonna do it. Watch and see.’”

25-year-old man misdiagnosed by doctors for months reveals ChatGPT solved his case in minutes: ‘Crazy they missed it’ | Health

ChatGPT, the AI (artificial intelligence) chatbot, has become a go-to for many seeking answers to their problems, be it personal or professional. However, recently, it has been piloted to draft responses to patient questions, too, but their credibility is still up for debate.

However, in a unique case, a patient, who was being misdiagnosed by medical professionals, got his life back on track after ChatGPT helped him know the real cause behind his ailments.

Misdiagnosed by doctors, ChatGPT helps a Reddit user

In a post shared on June 14, 2025, on the subreddit r/HPylori – titled ‘Misdiagnosed by doctors for months, ChatGPT solved it in minutes’ –, a user revealed how the AI chatbot helped him recover from H. Pylori, or Helicobacter pylori, a type of bacteria that infects the stomach.

Sharing their predicament, the Reddit user revealed that they had stomach problems for over a year, feeling full too quickly after a meal, and sometimes had chest pressure, bloating, and mild pain after eating. “I did an endoscopy and even a barium x-ray. One doctor said it might be gastroparesis. Another thought it was achalasia. But none of them tested for H. pylori. They all said it didn’t seem necessary,” the user added.

However, when there seemed to be no end to their ailments, they eventually turned to ChatGPT out of desperation. “It suggested H. pylori could still be involved. I decided to get tested privately. The result came back positive. (Positive 220),” the Reddit user wrote.

Once the problem was diagnosed, the Reddit user started triple therapy, and “I already feel better than I have in months. It’s crazy that something so basic was missed. I feel like I finally have a shot at getting my life back.”

How did the internet react?

Reddit users were flabbergasted by the lack of knowledge of the doctors who were doing the treatment. One user commented, “It’s so crazy to me that some doctors are so stupid they miss maybe the most common infection on that planet that up to 50 percent of people across the globe will get.”

Someone wrote, “They are not stupid; they have to follow health insurance requirements. You have to tell all the symptoms possible with h pylori. The doctor I know said that without stomach pain, they will not do the H. pylori test.”

Another commented under the post, “It’s not that they are stupid. Their ego is so big that they don’t care to have curiosity about their patients; they look at you and believe that they already know your problems and solutions.”

What is H. Pylori?

Per the Johns Hopkins Medicine organisation, H. Pylori can damage the tissue in your stomach and the first part of your small intestine (the duodenum), causing pain and inflammation. Per the Cleveland Clinic, the bacteria can also cause peptic ulcers and gastritis.

Jennie Garth was ‘furious’ after doctor’s pregnancy mistake in front of her mother

27 August 2025

Jennie Garth was mistakenly told she was pregnant as teenager in front of her mother.

Jennie Garth recalls awkward pregnancy scare

The 53-year-old star has recalled an awkward visit to a clinic with her mother Carolyn Garth when the doctor got some results mixed up.

Speaking to her ex-husband Peter Facinelli’s daughter Fiona, 18, on her I Choose Me podcast, Jennie said: “My mom went in there and it was to go on birth control.

“I had a boyfriend and I just wanted to be safe. I didn’t want to have a baby without being ready for it.”

The What I Like About You star – who confirmed the partner at the time wasn’t her Twilight actor ex – explained her mother didn’t know she was having sex at the time, so she claimed she wanted to “explore birth control options” to help with an irregular period.

She added: “I took a urine test. We’re sitting in this clinician’s office and they come in the room.

“My mom and I are just waiting for what she’s gonna say, and she says, ‘Well, you’re pregnant.’

“I was like, ‘What?’ All of a sudden, the cat was out of the bag. I was instantly just red all over. I was hot, sweaty.

“I didn’t know what to do because I had, in that moment, to be honest with my mom in the most uncomfortable situation about the fact that I had already had sex and that I had been lying to her about it.”

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star revealed the doctor soon realised they’d accidentally read the results from “someone else’s urine test”, but it was too late.

She said: “Cut to me and my mom having this emotional breakdown… Then she came back in, ‘Oh, oops! That was not your pee, that was someone else’s pee.’ “

Jennie was “furious” over the mixup, but it prompted a conversation with her mother that she’d been dreading.

She added: “That was a lot more traumatic and dramatic than if I had just gone to her and talked to her about it.

“But I, too, was really scared to talk to my mom about it, to the point where I actually lied and hid the truth from her.”
