Lilli Reinhart reveals endometriosis diagnosis after ‘multiple urologists and gynecologists’ dismissed her symptoms

Actor Lilli Reinhart has shared her diagnosis of endometriosis – a chronic disease whose symptoms include severe pain during menstruation and heavy menstrual bleeding – which was officially confirmed last week following laparoscopic surgery. Lilli Reinhart announced her endometriosis diagnosis, confirmed by laparoscopic surgery, and shared a candid Instagram post detailing her journey. (Instagram/ Lilli Reinhart)

In a candid Instagram post on December 11, the Riverdale actor shared hospital photos and detailed her frustrating and protracted journey to receive an accurate diagnosis, highlighting the importance of self-advocacy.

‘I was told there was no cure’

Lilli’s health struggles began earlier, when she was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis (IC) last year after consulting a urogynecologist. She was told there was ‘no cure for her symptoms’, a period that involved three hospital visits and consultations with multiple urologists and gynecologists.

“Last week, I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis following laparoscopic surgery. Last year, I saw a urogynecologist and was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I was told there was no cure — and no lasting relief — for my symptoms. Three hospital visits. Multiple urologists and gynecologists. And not one of them seriously considered endometriosis as the underlying cause of what I was experiencing,” Lilli wrote in her Instagram caption, shedding light on the common diagnostic challenges faced by those with the condition.

Actor’s path to diagnosis

The key turning point in her health journey came through working with pelvic floor therapists. Lilli said that it was through their guidance that ‘the word endometriosis was even mentioned to her as a possible source of her pain’. Her self-advocacy led her to pursue an MRI on her own, which revealed a diagnosis of adenomyosis, a condition where endometrial tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus. This, in turn, prompted her to meet with an endometriosis specialist who recommended laparoscopic surgery.

Highlighting the persistent challenge of medical dismissal, Lilli wrote, “It wasn’t until I worked with two different pelvic floor therapists that the word endometriosis was even mentioned to me as a possible source of my pain. I pushed for an MRI on my own, which led to a diagnosis of adenomyosis. From there, I met with an endometriosis specialist who helped me decide that laparoscopic surgery was the next step I wanted to take — while, at the same time, another gynecologist told me I ‘probably didn’t have endo’ and should just go on the pill.”

Raising awareness for a misunderstood disease

Lilli expressed relief in trusting her instincts and stressed the necessity of others doing the same. “I’m glad I trusted my body and listened to my gut and will continue advocating for others to do so,” she said.

Lilli used her platform to raise awareness about the scale and severity of the disease. The actor shared that endometriosis is “an extremely misunderstood disease, leaving often a 4-11 year gap between symptoms and a definitive surgical diagnosis.” The World Health Organisation estimates that 1 in 10 people with uteruses have endo, she added.

Her announcement is expected to bring greater visibility to the chronic condition, which involves tissue similar to the lining of the uterus growing outside of the uterus, causing significant pain and other health complications.

Justin Baldoni’s $400M lawsuit against Blake Lively officially dismissed – National

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

A final judgment was entered in Justin Baldoni’s US$400-million defamation and extortion countersuit against It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds after Baldoni missed the deadline to file an amended complaint.

On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Liman signed an order stating that Baldoni, 41, and his production company Wayfarer Studios had let the deadline lapse after the court dismissed the case in June.

Liman said he’d contacted all parties on Oct. 17 to let them know he’d be entering a final judgment to conclude the case.

Lively, 38, was the only one to respond, asking the judge to finalize the dismissal and to keep her request for legal fees open, which the judge agreed to, according to People.

Baldoni may still appeal the dismissal after the court decides Lively’s pending motion for legal fees, according to E! News.

Liman previously dismissed Baldoni and production company Wayfarer Studios’ lawsuit on June 9, but allowed him and his legal team to amend the complaint to change the “allegations relevant to the claims of tortious interference with contract and breach of implied covenant.”

Liman also ruled that Baldoni’s claims that Lively stole creative control of the film didn’t count as extortion under California law.

“The Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her CRD complaint, which are privileged,” Liman wrote in the opinion and order filing. “The Wayfarer Parties have alleged that Reynolds and (publicist Leslie) Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the Times made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign.

“But the Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the Times would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.

“The Wayfarer Parties’ additional claims also fail. Accordingly, the Amended Complaint must be dismissed in its entirety.”

The judge also dismissed Baldoni’s defamation lawsuit against the New York Times, which had reported on Lively’s sexual harassment allegations.

Lively’s lawyers previously called the dismissal “a total victory and complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times.”

“As we have said from day one, this ‘$400 million’ lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys’ fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation,” Lively’s lawyers said in a statement.

Baldoni’s suit was seeking at least $400 million for damages that included lost future income. The lawsuit from Baldoni and production company Wayfarer Studios, which also named Sloane as a defendant, came about two weeks after Lively sued Baldoni and several others tied to the film, alleging harassment and a co-ordinated campaign to attack her reputation for coming forward about her treatment on the set.

In late March, Lively asked a judge to dismiss Baldoni’s countersuit, calling his claims “vengeful and rambling,” after she filed the lawsuit against him for sexual harassment and retaliation.

Lively’s lawyers, Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, wrote in papers filed in Manhattan federal court that Baldoni and his production company’s claims that they were defamed were a “profound abuse of the legal process.”

“The law prohibits weaponizing defamation lawsuits, like this one, to retaliate against individuals who have filed legal claims or have publicly spoken out about sexual harassment and retaliation,” the lawyers said.

“The right to seek legal redress and the right of the press to report on it are sacred principles that are protected by multiple privileges, including the litigation and fair report privileges, which are absolute.”

Lively’s legal team also referred to Baldoni’s lawsuit as part of a “sinister campaign to bury and destroy” her for speaking out about sexual harassment against him.

Lively sought unspecified damages when she sued Baldoni in late December 2024 for alleged sexual harassment and retaliation. The trial is currently set to take place in March 2026.

Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker recently opened up about asking for work without any hesitation. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Swara revealed that she had once texted filmmaker Aditya Chopra, requesting a role opposite Salman Khan in one of his films. However, the filmmaker politely turned her down.

Aditya Chopra rejected Swara Bhasker for Salman Khan’s Sultan.

Swara Bhasker on Aditya Chopra rejecting her

Swara revealed asking for role in Sultan and recalled, “I said, ‘I think, sir, aapko mujhe cast karna chahiye, main bahut acchi pehelwan banungi.’ He replied, ‘Nahi, mujhe aisa nahi lagta, Swara ( I said ‘I think, sir, you should cast me; I would make a very good wrestler.’ He said, No, I don’t think so, Swara.’) I said, ‘Okay, theek hai.’ (Okay, that’s fine).’ Look, if we maintain too much lihaaz-vihaj (formality and restraint), we won’t get work. We are outsiders, right? I didn’t have anyone who could call and recommend me. Maine jo bhi kiya hai, maine cheen-cheen ke liya hai, ya apne dum pe — jaise bhi mila mujhe (Whatever I’ve achieved, I’ve taken it by fighting for it or earned it on my own — however it came my way).”

Swara further added, “I’m very polite in every other aspect of my life, but kaam maangne mein mujhe kabhi sharam nahi aayi kisi se (I’ve never felt ashamed to ask anyone for work). I think that’s completely fine — I should ask for it. I may not enjoy doing it, but I still do, because I believe one shouldn’t have that hesitation. I always say, ‘I’d love to work with you. Please cast me, consider kar lijiye.’ (Please consider me) But ever since I became pregnant, I haven’t asked anyone for work.”

While Swara didn’t work with Salman in Sultan, she essayed the role of her sister in 2015 film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.

About Sultan

The 2016 sports drama film, written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, starred Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, alongside Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in pivotal parts.

The story follows Sultan Ali Khan, a pehlwani wrestler and former world champion whose professional success strains his personal life. The film was a massive box office hit, collecting ₹607.84 crore worldwide against a budget of ₹80 crore.

It’s a Celebration! Karlie Redd’s Burglary Case Dismissed on the Same Day She Honors Domestic Abuse Survivors at Her First Annual Courageous Awards!

Reality TV star and serial entrepreneur Karlie Redd celebrates a major legal victory as the burglary charges against her are dismissed, maintaining her innocence.

Her attorney Steve Sadow confirmed the news on Oct. 22, sharing the DeKalb County order stating the case would not be prosecuted. “The bogus case against my client, Karlie Redd (Lewis), one of the stars of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, has been dismissed!” Sadow wrote.

Redd, whose legal name is Karlie Lewis, was arrested in April 2025 for allegedly entering the home of her estranged husband Teleau Belton without permission and taking personal items before posting bond. The order, signed by Judge LaTisha Dear Jackson, stated: “While probable cause exists, the State is unable to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The dismissal marks a win for Redd after an intense divorce battle–Early this year, Redd’s ex-husband was charged in Fulton County with family violence battery against her, to which her lawyer, Sadow said in a previous disclosure that he “was very confident that Karlie’s case will be resolved favorably.”

Karlie shared an official statement to The Jasmine Brand:

“I was never guilty of the allegations made against me. These claims were untrue, and I was unfairly targeted by false statements made by my ex-husband. The dismissal of all charges confirms the truth. I’m thankful for my legal team, my family, my supporters, and everyone who stood by me. My focus now is on continuing my work, advocating for survivors, and moving forward with strength and grace.”

On the same day her case was dismissed, Karlie and Yandy Smith hosted The First Annual Courageous Awards at Atlanta City Hall — honoring domestic abuse survivors. ? Presented by Karlie Redd’s Big Heart Foundation with partners TLJ Agency, Tierra’s Butterflies, Think About It Inc., Yelle Skin Care & Sheen Magazine, the event celebrated resilience and advocacy. Among the honorees, Maxine Mitchell received a $10K scholarship from Tiara’s Butterflies Foundation for her courage and empowerment.

Josh O’Connor dismissed as altar boy for ‘smiling too much’

by jummy84 October 23, 2025

23 October 2025

Josh O’Connor got “kicked” out of being an altar boy for “smiling too much”.

Josh O’Connor smiled too much in church

The Crown actor served as a young assistant to the priest at his local church when he was growing up but was relieved of his duties because it was deemed he wasn’t taking them too seriously, which he suggested was an “early sign” of his future profession.

He told Vogue.co.uk: “I grew up Catholic and was an altar boy for a bit. Then I got kicked off for smiling too much.

“I’d like to think that you’d accept that I was smiling in the presence of the lord, but I think the reality was that I was p****** myself.

“I was in this ridiculous outfit, my brothers were watching me, I was waving at them and probably not being gracious enough in that moment. That was probably those early signs of theatricality.”

The 35-year-old star recently had “the time of [his] life” starring opposite Emily Blunt on Steven Spielberg’s next movie and he would be “thrilled” if he continues to retain the same passion for working as the legendary director.

He said of the movie: “I’m sworn to secrecy. All I can say is that it is finished. It was bliss. I got to work with one of the legends and I had the time of my life.

“He cares so much about his actors and the story. He’s made so many movies and he’s still an excited child.

“Even now, when he sees something that moves him, he’s in tears. And then he’ll see something he loves, and he’s like a puppy.

“So, my lesson is, if I can be like that, I’ll be thrilled. I feel very fortunate to have been in his orbit for a bit.”

Josh also felt fortunate to be part of the cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

He said: “I had a great time. I shot Knives Out just before The Mastermind. I’d met Daniel [Craig] briefly before and loved him – we have a very funny dynamic together – and I’ve been a big fan of [director] Rian [Johnson] for a long time.

“It was a totally different kind of film for me. I’d never made anything of that size and budget in the studio system, but I really enjoyed it.

“Mila Kunis is a great laugh; Glenn Close is kind, warm, a great mentor and guide; Andrew Scott, who is already a friend of mine, is just hilarious.

“They were all terrific and it was just the perfect job for that summer. It also gave me the opportunity to be at home for a bit, too, which is important.”

Drake’s ‘Not Like Us’ defamation lawsuit against UMG dismissed by judge

Drake’s ‘Not Like Us’ defamation lawsuit against UMG dismissed by judge

by jummy84 October 10, 2025
written by jummy84

A United States federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit that Drake brought against Universal Music Group (UMG), accusing the record company of defamation over its distribution and promotion of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, Not Like Us.

District Judge Jeannette Vargas dismissed the suit after she said Lamar’s Not Like Us was a “nonactionable opinion” that is not considered defamatory.

The feud between two of hip-hop’s biggest stars erupted in the spring of 2024, with the pair trading a series of tracks that culminated in Lamar landing the “metaphorical killing blow” with his megahit that May, Vargas said in her written opinion Thursday.

“The fact that the Recording was made in the midst of a rap battle is essential to assessing its impact on a reasonable listener,” Vargas wrote. “Even apparent statements of fact may assume the character of statements of opinion … when made in public debate, heated labor dispute, or other circumstances in which an audience may anticipate the use of epithets, fiery rhetoric or hyperbole.”

While the track’s lyrics explicitly branded Drake as a pedophile, Vargas said, a reasonable listener could not have concluded that Not Like Us was conveying objective facts about the Canadian superstar.

“Although the accusation that Plaintiff is a pedophile is certainly a serious one, the broader context of a heated rap battle, with incendiary language and offensive accusations hurled by both participants, would not incline the reasonable listener to believe that Not Like Us imparts verifiable facts about Plaintiff,” Vargas wrote.

Recapping “perhaps the most infamous rap battle in the genre’s history,” Vargas noted that before Not Like Us, Drake mocked Lamar’s height and shoe size and questioned his success in an April 2024 track called Push Ups, while Lamar insulted Drake’s fashion sense that same month in Euphoria.

From there, Vargas wrote, the insults escalated, becoming “vicious, personal.”

The judge said she considered the forum in which the insults occurred and concluded that the average listener does not think a diss track “is the product of a thoughtful or disinterested investigation, conveying to the public factchecked verifiable content.”

After the ruling, a spokesperson for UMG told Variety that, “From the outset, this suit was an affront to all artists and their creative expression and never should have seen the light of day. We’re pleased with the court’s dismissal and look forward to continuing our work successfully promoting Drake’s music and investing in his career.”

Drake’s representatives told the outlet that they intend to appeal Thursday’s ruling, “and we look forward to the Court of Appeals reviewing it.”

Not Like Us — described by Vargas as having a “catchy beat and propulsive bassline” — was one of 2024’s biggest songs.

It won record of the year and song of the year at the Grammys and helped make this year’s Super Bowl halftime show the most watched ever, as fans speculated on whether Lamar would actually perform it. (He did, but with altered lyrics.)

In January, Drake filed the defamation lawsuit against UMG, the record label he and rival Lamar are both signed to.

The Toronto rapper referred to the release of Lamar’s diss track as an example of “corporate greed over the safety and well-being of its artists,” according to the New York Times.

In his filing, Drake’s team said the diss track aimed at the Canadian rapper spreads the “false and malicious narrative” that he is a pedophile. The filing stated that Drake is “not a pedophile” and has “never engaged in any acts that would require him to be ‘placed on neighborhood watch.’”

“Drake has never engaged in sexual relations with a minor. Drake has never been charged with, or convicted of, any criminal acts whatsoever,” the suit read.

The lawsuit went on to detail a shooting at Drake’s home a few days after the song was released, resulting in a security guard being seriously injured.

“During the nearly 30 minutes it took for the ambulance to arrive, Drake and others laboured to keep the man alive by applying pressure to the gunshot wound with towels. Blood was everywhere,” the filing read.

According to the suit, nothing like that had happened to Drake or his family during the two decades that he had been working in the music industry.

The lawsuit also stated that the multiple break-in attempts on his home that happened following the release of the song were caused by UMG’s actions.

“With the palpable physical threat to Drake’s safety and the bombardment of online harassment, Drake fears for the safety and security of himself, his family, and his friends,” according to the suit.

Story continues below advertisement

Drake’s team made it known that the lawsuit was not directed at Lamar and clearly placed the blame on Universal for releasing, distributing and promoting the song.

“This lawsuit is not about the artist who created Not Like Us,” the suit read. “It is, instead, entirely about UMG, the music company that decided to publish, promote, exploit, and monetize allegations that it understood were not only false, but dangerous.”

The feud between Drake and Lamar is among the biggest in hip-hop in recent years, with two of the genre’s biggest stars at its centre.

The two were occasional collaborators more than a decade ago, but Lamar began taking public jabs at Drake starting in 2013. The fight escalated steeply earlier last year.

bitchy | A federal judge dismissed Drake’s lawsuit against UMG, a rap battle isn’t ‘against the law’

by jummy84 October 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Last year, Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s years-long simmering beef came to a boil. First it was Kendrick’s verse on Future & Metro’s “Like That.” Then Drake spent weeks trying to goad Kendrick into a rap battle. Kendrick finally responded, dropping four songs in less than a week. The last two songs, “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us” came out within 24 hours, and they were perfectly executed disses. “Not Like Us” became the song of the year (literally, it won the Grammy for SOTY) and Kendrick even performed “Not Like Us” and “Euphoria” during the Super Bowl Halftime. Drake has not been the same since. Instead of just licking his wounds, taking the L like a man and going away for a year, Drake decided to make a horse’s ass out of himself in like twenty different ways. Notably, Drake sued UMG – his label, and the label which has a licensing deal with Kendrick’s pgLang. In his lawsuit, Drake claimed that UMG *wanted* Kendrick to beat him in the rap battle, and UMG helped Kendrick in some way which Drake could never prove. Well, long story short, a judge just threw out Drake’s lawsuit. Hahahaha LOSER.

A federal judge on Thursday (Oct. 9) dismissed Drake’s defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” ruling that a “war of words” during a “heated rap battle” did not violate the law.

Drake’s case, filed earlier this year, claimed that UMG defamed him by releasing Lamar’s scathing diss track, which tarred his arch-rival as a “certified pedophile.” He believed that millions of people took that lyric literally, severely harming his reputation. But just ten months later, Judge Jeannette Vargas granted UMG’s motion to dismiss the case at the outset – ruling that Kendrick’s insulting lyrics were the kind of “hyperbole” that cannot be defamatory because listeners would not think they were statements of fact.

“The artists’ seven-track rap battle was a ‘war of words’ that was the subject of substantial media scrutiny and online discourse,” the judge wrote. “Although the accusation that plaintiff is a pedophile is certainly a serious one, the broader context of a heated rap battle, with incendiary language and offensive accusations hurled by both participants, would not incline the reasonable listener to believe that ‘Not Like Us’ imparts verifiable facts about plaintiff.”

The ruling marks an abrupt end to a legal battle that stunned the music industry. Few expected a rapper to respond to a diss track with a lawsuit – a move that drew ridicule in the hip hop world and condemnation from legal scholars. Fewer still expected him to file it against UMG, his longtime record label and the biggest music company in the world.

Drake’s attorneys can appeal the ruling to a federal appeals court. His attorneys did not immediately return a request for comment. A spokesman for UMG also did not immediately return a request for comment.

[From Billboard]

While I didn’t follow the minute details of this lawsuit, I saw enough to say that UMG actually took the right position at the start of the beef. UMG’s management basically chose to sit on the sidelines and let the rap battle play out. They didn’t choose sides – they just didn’t “help” Drake, which is why he sued them. He’s spent the past decade getting high from his own supply, and he thought his label would tip the scale in his favor. All of the things he accused UMG of – without evidence, mind you – was projection, I believe. Drake thought UMG was doing all of that against him, because he was used to UMG propping him up.

Here’s the “Not Like Us” video again. It has over 403 million views. The YT video of just the song (with Megan’s Law markers over Drake’s house) has over 258 million views.

There is no controversy.’ At the same time, Govinda told the paparazzi, ‘There is no special blessing from this. The leprosy goes away, the obstacles go away. Together with the society, we pray that we all stay together. Our prayers should be with us.’
