The trailer for Dining with the Kapoors is finally here, offering a warm, nostalgic look into one of India’s most iconic film families. The one-hour special drops on November 21 and promises viewers a seat at the lunch table where laughter, legacy, and never-before-seen moments unfold.
For almost a hundred years, the Kapoors have shaped Indian cinema, not just through their films, but through a cultural imprint that spans generations. This special brings the entire clan together to honour the legendary Raj Kapoor on his 100th birth anniversary, blending emotion, humour, and the unmistakable Kapoor charm.

Created by Armaan Jain and directed by Smriti Mundhra (Indian Matchmaking, The Romantics, Never Have I Ever), it takes a fly-on-the-wall documentary approach. Shot with an intimate, unfiltered gaze, it captures everything from playful teasing to heartfelt memories, all tied together by the family’s shared love for food, stories, and togetherness.
The gathering features Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Rima Jain, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Aadar Jain, and more, a rare coming-together of Bollywood royalty under one roof.

Dining with the Kapoors premieres on November 21 on Netflix, inviting audiences to feast their eyes, and hearts, on food, family, and a celebration that honours a century of cinematic heritage.


Director Smriti Mundhra shares, “I’ve been lucky to work with Netflix a few times before—on Indian Matchmaking, Never Have I Ever and The Romantics—so coming back to do this project is like a homecoming in more ways than one. Telling a story about the importance of family and the value of legacy in this time when the pace of life is taking us away from those things feels very special.”

She adds, “The Kapoors are not just a Bollywood dynasty, but the type of family we all want to be a part of: extremely tight, fun loving, and absolutely obsessed with food. What I wanted to capture wasn’t just their story on the surface, but that feeling of being right there at the table with them—hearing the stories, the laughter, the unfiltered moments that happen when the performance drops away. Foxhills Club & Resort, the award-winning hotel and country club in Surrey, is proud to announce the appointment of Achal Aggarwal as new Head Chef of its two AA Rosette restaurant, The Fox dining rooms.

An alumnus of some of the world’s finest kitchens, Chef Achal brings a distinctive culinary style shaped by Asian roots, Japanese discipline and global finesse. His arrival marks a bold new chapter for the resort’s dining identity, with a refined fusion menu set to evolve fully in early 2026.

Having trained in Tokyo and New York, and worked in acclaimed properties including The Leela, Hyatt and multiple Oberoi Hotels, Achal also played a pivotal role in the launch of the celebrated ‘Wasabi’ restaurant in Delhi.

In his role at Foxhills, Achal will lead the restaurant’s transition to a fine dining concept that blends modern British cuisine with subtle yet expressive Indian and Asian influences. Think butter chicken reimagined, delicate hints of spice layered through seasonal ingredients and culinary techniques rooted in his Japanese training.

Guests can already sample Achal’s creative flair with signature dishes such as lamb rogan josh, soft shell crab tempura sushi roll, Singapore chicken rice, black truffle ravioli, mango seabass and seafood udon noodles, all presented elegantly and with flair.

In addition to refreshing the à la carte menu, Achal has introduced a series of monthly five‑course tasting events celebrating global cuisines. The inaugural ‘Odyssey’ Japanese night launched in June, followed by a sold-out Indian night giving Foxhills members and guests a glimpse of what’s to come.
