He has been detained in the UAE since September 2024. Celina’s new note came soon after the court directed the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to help facilitate communication between her and Vikrant. The court’s order instructs the MEA to appoint a nodal officer to coordinate with authorities in the UAE and to use any available channel, including the TAMM app or other means, to establish contact between Celina and her brother.

Sunjay Kapur’s mother tells Delhi HC Priya Kapur made every move to take control of his assets instead of mourning death

Sunjay Kapur’s mother’s statement arrives amid the ongoing legal dispute over his will. He died in June this year.

Priya Sachdev Kapur, Sunjay Kapur’s widow, is involved in a legal dispute over his multimillion-dollar estate. The trouble began when his children, with his former wife and actor Karisma Kapoor, approached the Delhi High Court, claiming Priya forged Sunjay’s will. On Monday, Sunjay Kapur’s mother told the Delhi High Court that instead of grieving his death, Priya Kapur made every move to take control of his assets. Amid a row over his inheritance, Sunjay Kapur’s mother (middle) also made submissions to the court. (LinkedIn/Sunjay Kapur)

What Sunjay’s mother claimed

As per the latest update shared by news agency PTI, the Delhi High Court on Monday heard allegations from Rani S Kapur. She said she was never told about her son’s will. The submissions were made before Justice Jyoti Singh during the hearing of a suit of Karisma Kapoor’s children. The court listed the matter for further arguments on December 3.

More details

Meanwhile, senior advocate Vaibhav Gaggar, representing Rani, said that marital discord between Sunjay and Priya started in May 2023 and there were constant fights. The plea read that it was “highly unlikely and improbable that Sunjay would make Priya the sole beneficiary of his personal estate”. It went on to add that her late son shared “a deep bond and equal affection with all his children, his mother and other members of the Kapur family”. Furthermore, Gaggar claimed that instead of grieving Sunjay’s death, Priya made every possible move to take control of his assets, and alleged that the daughter-in-law concealed massive assets belonging to him.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto parts manufacturer. He died in June in London while playing a polo match. Sunjay was married to Karisma from 2003 to 2016, and they had two children together. He married Priya in 2017.

AIIMS Delhi neurologist warns ‘clean your air purifiers’; shares tips to protect your lungs amid rising air pollution

With pollution levels rising in Delhi and Gurgaon, neurologist Dr Priyanka Sehrawat shares essential tips on air purifier care, masks, hydration, and diet.

With the winter season settling in, Delhi and Gurgaon are once again witnessing a surge in air pollution, with AQI levels frequently climbing into the “very unhealthy” range. Smoggy mornings, thick haze, and rising cases of respiratory issues have made it difficult for residents to breathe easy. Many people are turning to air purifiers at home and masks while stepping outside, but not everyone is aware of the correct precautions to take. Dr Priyanka Sehrawat, a neurologist and general physician, AIIMS Delhi, shares key advice in her November 28 Instagram post for residents relying on air purifiers and masks during this high-pollution season.

How often should you change your air purifier filter

“This video is for people in Delhi and Gurgaon. If you are using air purifiers at home, many people do, but you need to pay attention. Our lungs filter pollutants like PM 2.5, and the filter in the purifier gets blocked. So it’s necessary to change the air purifier filter once every 2–3 weeks,” Dr Sehrawat said.

She added, “If pollution levels are very high, say above 500 AQI, you might even need to change it every 10 days. Also, if you’re going outside frequently, make sure to wear an N95 mask. Cloth masks or the regular blue surgical masks will not protect you from pollutants.”

What other precautions can help protect your health

Alongside air purification, Dr Sehrawat stressed the importance of staying hydrated and maintaining a nutritious diet. “Cases of flu are also increasing, so drink enough water, eat vitamin C-rich foods, and maintain a high-protein diet. Take care of yourself,” she advised.

Following these simple yet vital precautions can help residents navigate the worsening air quality while protecting their respiratory and overall health.

Shefali Shah Thanks ‘Delhi Crime 3’ Viewers On Instagram, Says, ‘I Was Terrified…’, Here’s What She Said!

by jummy84 November 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Shefali Shah, star of ‘Delhi Crime 3’, recently thanked millions of viewers on Instagram for the immense love they gave her character and admitted she was initially terrified before the show was released. Since premiering on November 13, 2025, the third season has been trending globally on Netflix. Although the entire cast delivered excellent performances, Shefali’s portrayal of DIG Vartika Chaturvedi, fondly called ‘Madam Sir’, especially won hearts. Following the show’s overwhelming response, she expressed heartfelt gratitude on her official Instagram, appreciating fans and viewers for the remarkable support and affection they extended to Delhi Crime season three from across audiences.

What Did Shefali Shah Share in Her Instagram Post?

Shefali Shah is deeply grateful for the love her fans have shown toward her portrayal of ‘DIG Vartika Chaturvedi’. She expressed her appreciation to her 1.1 million Instagram followers by sharing a heartfelt note on November 21, 2025. In her message, she wrote: “I was terrified is the understatement of the century before ‘Delhi Crime 3’ dropped. I played a different side of ‘Vartika’ this time. She felt the pain and anger with equal and more intensity, but instead of showing it, she channelled it into finding the girls. All situations require one aspect that is more prevalent than others…”

Delhi Crime 3

Shefali Shah shared that for her character, DIG Vartika Chaturvedi, the journey was never about heroism but about steadfast perseverance and an unbreakable resolve to find the missing girls. She said Vartika is someone who lives to safeguard, protect, and deliver justice to those who need it most. What surprised many fans was Shefali’s revelation that, despite her experience and talent, she was unsure whether audiences would connect with her portrayal of Vartika in the third season. She expressed this vulnerability as she wrote, hoping that her honesty would resonate deeply with viewers and offer insight into her creative process:

“I didn’t know if this side of ‘Vartika’, without her baravado, would land. But when the show dropped and I read the reviews, I was overjoyed and weeping with relief. But then started the outpour of your love…You didn’t just watch her go through every moment, you all lived it with her and me.”

Netflix series Delhi Crime 3

She shared that her experience in Delhi Crime 3 taught her two significant lessons: first, that many actors and industry professionals often underestimate the audience’s intelligence and sensitivity; and second, that she is incredibly fortunate to receive such immense love from her fans. She said the support has left her overwhelmed and deeply grateful. Along with her gratitude, she added that the show has humbled her in ways she can hardly put into words. “And it’s too small a word for all that I feel for you all, but just THANK YOU. I am truly blessed to have your love and blessings,” the 52-year-old added.

What Shefali Shah Said About Portraying ‘DIG Vartika Chaturvedi’

Shefali Shah’s performance in the latest Netflix show has been truly remarkable. This could only happen because of the thought and care she took in portraying her character. During a conversation with iDiva, Shefali also opened up about the responsibility that comes with playing a character like ‘DIG Vartika Chaturvedi’. She stated:

Shefali Shah

“I think first and foremost, any material which is either inspired or based on true incidents, comes with great responsibility and sensitivity to begin with. Secondly, I can answer as an actor, but the germ of it started when the script was being written. And this particular team, and the entire show, in fact, is very realistic and raw. There was nobody who was larger than life.”

Opening for Linkin Park in Bengaluru is a full-circle moment for Delhi metal band Bloodywood: ‘Lit a fire within us’

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Delhi-based folk-metal band, Bloodywood has described opening for Linkin Park as ‘a full-circle moment,’ after it was announed that they will be the supporting act for the American band’s Bengaluru concert on January 23, next year.

Bloodywood will be opening for Linkin Park in Bengaluru next year

“This is a full circle moment for all of us in Bloodywood. We all have looked up to Linkin Park at certain points in our lives and are big fans of the band. Their sound really defined the nu metal sound in the 2000s and just they kept going ahead with full force,” said the band’s frontman Jayant Bhadula explaining why the opportunity felt deeply personal for the band.

“They lit a fire within all of us that made us create this band and try to walk the same steps as them,” he said. Adding that the announcement was “a very big moment” for the trio, he also said that much of Bloodywood’s identity can be traced back to the band they will now open for .

“Honestly, we are heading into these shows with a lot of love and passion. And the same fire that Linkin Park lit in our hearts back in the day. Yes, not just as musicians, but also as human beings. Also as people who would have posters of Linkin Park in their rooms and would just listen to each and every track of theirs. It’s a very big moment for all of us. It’s a very wholesome one,” he added.

The show in Bengaluru comes just two days before Linkin Park headlines Lollapalooza India in Mumbai, marking the band’s first-ever live performances in the country.

For Bloodywood, the slot adds another major milestone to their international rise, placing them on a platform alongside the artists who shaped their earliest musical ambitions. Known for blending heavy metal with Indian folk elements, the band has been consistently touring globally, building a loyal audience across Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

As they prepare to step on stage before one of their biggest influences, Jayant summed up the mood simply: “We’re just very, very excited to share the stage with them.”
