Kendrick Lamar and “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone aren’t ready to unveil their mysterious live-action comedy just yet. Paramount has removed the trio’s upcoming feature from its March 20 release date, delaying the theatrical release indefinitely as the project continues to be tinkered.

““It’s true – we’re moving (again). We’re working hard at finishing the movie,” reads a joint statement from Paramount, attributed to Stone and Parker’s production banner Park County and Lamar’s company PGLang.

‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ has been delayed again

by jummy84 November 6, 2025

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed again, developers Rockstar Games have confirmed.

Originally Grand Theft Auto 6 was due to launch in late 2025 but in May it was announced that the long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s GTA 5 would be delayed until May 26, 2026.

“The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team,” Rockstar said in a statement. “With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and GTA 6 is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve,”

Tonight, Rockstar Games confirmed that they’re pushing the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 back even further. “We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realise has been a long wait” they explained in a short statement. “But these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”

Grand Theft Auto 6 will now release November 19, 2026.

Hi everyone,

Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and… pic.twitter.com/yLX9KIiDzX

Back in August, Strauss Zelnick (boss of GTA publishers Take Two) said he was convinced that the game wouldn’t be delayed again. “My level of conviction is very, very high.” In a new interview with IGN, Zelnick said he was “highly confident” Grand Theft Auto 6 will actually be released next year. “There have been limited circumstances where more time was required to polish a title and make sure that it was spectacular and that time has been well-spent,” he added. “When our competitors go to market before something was ready, bad things happen.”

Fans had been hoping the third Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer would be released this month. Some were also tricked by a fake movie adaptation announcement that went viral on social media.

Rockstar hasn’t revealed much about Grand Theft Auto 6 beyond a number of screenshots and location descriptions, but a fan-led mapping campaign has revealed the game will be much larger than GTA 5.

In other news, Football Manager fans aren’t impressed with the “unbelievably bad” Football Manager 26 which launched earlier this week after being delayed by a year.

Justice Delayed? Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Challenges CBI’s Closure Report, Seeks Answers! | Glamsham.com

After over four years of probe, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has found that there is no evidence of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput having been illegally detained, intimidated, or incited to kill himself by Rhea Chakraborty or anyone else. The agency’s closure report, seen by Hindustan Times, also found no evidence of financial misappropriation or diversion of Sushant’s property by Rhea or her family.

The CBI noted that even Sushant had addressed Rhea as “family” when they were together, according to officials privy to the report. The report mentioned, “None of the accused persons had lived or stayed with him between June 8, 2020, and June 14, 2020—the day he was found hanging in his Bandra flat.” The report added further that though Sushant was in contact with Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty on WhatsApp on June 10, he did not have any contact with Rhea at that time. His sister Meetu Singh was with him from June 8 to June 12, two days prior to his passing.

The report rejects charges of wrongful confinement, coercion, or financial exploitation. The report also makes it clear that Rhea and Showik walked out of Sushant’s house on June 8 with just personal items—an Apple laptop and a watch presented by Sushant. The report categorically mentions, “No evidence has emerged of any property dishonestly taken out of Sushant’s possession.”

The CBI probe included two concurrent cases — one by Sushant’s father, K.K. Singh, in Patna against abetment and financial irregularities, and another filed by Rhea against Sushant’s sisters in Mumbai. The investigators concluded that Sushant’s affairs were taken care of by his chartered accountant and attorney, who had complete control of his accounts. The report further added that cost incurred for Rhea, including the 2019 European tour of the couple, was within rules and done willingly by Sushant.

But Sushant’s family has disputed the CBI findings, terming the report as incomplete and misleading. Their attorney, Advocate Varun Singh, remarked, “This is nothing but an eyewash. If CBI really wanted to come out with the truth, it would have submitted all supporting case documents including chats, technical records, statements, and medical reports.” He further said that the family will seek a protest petition against what they term as a “shoddy investigation.

The case, which had sparked nationwide outrage and political debates between Bihar and Maharashtra, will next be heard on December 20, when a Patna court reviews the CBI’s closure report. Despite the agency’s conclusion, Sushant’s family insists they will continue their fight for what they believe is long-overdue justice.

Rajkumar Hirani’s Biopic With Ranbir Kapoor Delayed; Aamir Khan’s Next in Focus

by jummy84 October 5, 2025
written by jummy84

After Sanju (2018) showcased the creative energy between Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor, fans were eagerly waiting for their next collaboration. The duo had reportedly been developing a biopic based on the life of an athlete, but fresh reports suggest that the project has now been postponed. The film, which was initially expected to go on floors soon, has been deferred until 2027.
According to reports, the decision came after the team realised the script needed more time to evolve. Hirani and Ranbir were said to be deeply invested in the project, having spent months brainstorming and fine-tuning the idea. However, with Ranbir’s schedule packed for the next couple of years, the director decided to put the film on hold rather than rush it. The idea is to revisit the project when both are creatively and logistically aligned, ensuring the same magic they delivered with Sanju.

In the meantime, Rajkumar Hirani is shifting his attention to another ambitious project, a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, with Aamir Khan in the lead role. Reportedly, the film is set to begin production in early 2026, with Aamir already preparing for the role. The actor is said to be growing out his look and will begin workshops by December this year. This marks Aamir’s first time portraying a real-life personality on screen, and Hirani reportedly aims to bring grand scale and authenticity to the period drama.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has a packed slate ahead. He will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, followed by Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, where he plays Lord Ram. Post these commitments, Ranbir is expected to choose between two major projects, Dhoom 4 and Animal Park, both currently in advanced stages of development.

Tom Holland’s injury update: What happened on Spider-Man set? Will release be delayed?

by jummy84 September 27, 2025

New details have surfaced about Tom Holland’s on-set injury that halted filming of the latest Spider Man movie.

The 29-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital after a stunt went wrong at the UK’s Leavesden Studios, according to The Sun. Holland struck his head on the floor, leading to what doctors described as a mild concussion.

“The accident wasn’t as bad as people think,” an insider told the outlet.

The source explained that “a line snapped on a pull ring, and he got a bump on his [head]. Filming was supposed to start again in London on Thursday, but for now the production team have been told to stand down for two weeks.”

Tom Holland has been “taking it easy” during recovery

Another insider said Holland has been “taking it easy” during recovery and emphasized there is no rush for his return. “No one wants to push him back to set too quickly,” the source noted.

Even with the delay, Spider-Man: Brand New Day remains scheduled for a July 2026 release. It will be Holland’s fourth appearance as Peter Parker.

Tom Holland was in public over the weekend

Though not filming, Holland was in public over the weekend. On September 20, he joined his parents, Dominic and Nikki, his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy, and Zendaya at the annual Brother’s Trust Gala in London, according to Parade report.

The charity, founded in 2017 by Dominic and Nikki, aims to “help charities who struggle to be heard in the noisy not-for-profit sector.”

Holland previously shared his excitement for reprising the role in a Sony video when filming began in Glasgow last month. “It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man. It’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow,” he said.

He added, “It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them. We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure.”

Jessica Chastain Series 'The Savant' Delayed After Charlie Kirk Death

Jessica Chastain Series ‘The Savant’ Delayed After Charlie Kirk Death

by jummy84 September 24, 2025
written by jummy84

The anxiety around the political and cultural reaction to the killing of Charlie Kirk is so high that we could see more media companies on edge about how audiences react to their content. “The Savant,” a limited series starring Jessica Chastain originally set to premiere this Friday on Apple TV+, will be postponed, a rep for Apple TV+ told IndieWire.

While no specific reason was given, nor was any new release date announced, it’s believed that current events contributed to the delay.

“After careful consideration, we have made the decision to postpone ‘The Savant.’ We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series at a future date,” Apple TV+ said in a statement.

Protestors outside 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' following ABC's indefinite suspension of the program at Hollywood Blvd on September 18, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.

“The Savant” stars Chastain as a woman who infiltrates online extremist groups in an attempt to discover mass shootings and extremist acts of terrorism before they happen. The series was created by Melissa James Gibson and was inspired by a 2019 article in Cosmopolitan, “Is It Possible to Stop a Mass Shooting Before It Happens?”

The first trailer for the series, which you can watch below, shows her engaging online with extremists, attempting to think like them and expose their actions before reporting them to the authorities. It shows a series of “snipers, bombings, ambushes” — with Chastain specifically trying to bring down someone who wants to make an imprint on history with the type of event people refer to “with a month and a date.” It’s also a show that grapples with Chastain’s moral dilemma of wondering if it’s right to be engaging with such people, even if it’s in the name of a greater good.

“The Savant” would not be the first time a show or an episode was delayed in order to provide some breathing room from real-life tragedies. But the fervor over “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” being pre-empted last week (it comes back on air tonight) is likely just the first example of media companies in this very moment looking closely at what’s being said and represented on their screens as showrunners reach for the headlines with politically relevant commentary and entertainment.

‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ season two has been delayed indefinitely

‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ season two has been delayed indefinitely

by jummy84 September 15, 2025
written by jummy84

The second season of Mr & Mrs Smith has been delayed indefinitely, according to new reports.

As shared by Deadline, the production of season two of the Prime Video series has been pushed back, and the future of the show remains uncertain.

The serialised adaptation of the 2005 movie – which starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – was created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane.

In season one, which arrived in February 2024, Glover and Maya Erskine starred as John and Jane Smith; aliases under which they pretended to be spouses and took on high-risk espionage missions, before developing feelings for one another.

That season ended on a cliffhanger, with the two getting involved in a gunfight, and it being left uncertain who survived. It was then confirmed that Anora‘s Mark Eydelshteyn and Yellowjackets‘ Sophie Thatcher had been cast for the second season, and it was widely rumoured that they would be taking on brand new Jane and John roles rather than replacing Glover and Erskine, with the show taking an anthology approach and bringing in new leads each season.

Now though, it looks like it will still be a while to wait until season two arrives, and Deadline has reported that the delay is due to issues with the cast.

Earlier this year, there were rumours that Francesca Scorsese, Lily-Rose Depp, Gael Garcia Bernal and more would be having guest slots in the series, however, these have seemingly been put on ice too as a spokesperson told the outlet that deals have not closed for the new season.

The spokesperson also said that while the crew were looking to start production this autumn, this has been put on an indefinite hiatus. Sources then told the outlet that New Regency – which co-produces the show with Amazon MGM – are hoping to begin pre-production at the end of this year and start shooting in 2026.

Showrunner Francesca Sloane has moved to HBO amid the delay, as reported by Empire, and will be writing the opening episode of Big Little Lies season three.

Mr & Mrs Smith’s first season received a three-star review from NME, with David Renshaw writing: “Though they lack the red-hot chemistry of Pitt and Jolie, the relationship between Glover and Erskine feels genuine. An episode midway through finds them free of their murderous day job and able to just hang out.

“It almost feels like a shame when the covert missions come back into play. And therein lies the problem with the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith; fans of both Atlanta and Pen15 have seen this couple do much more personal, unique and intriguing work elsewhere. In comparison, this all feels a little cold-blooded.”

Vince Neil Says He Had a Stroke That Delayed Motley Crue’s Residency

by jummy84 September 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Motley Crue began a residency in Las Vegas Friday night that was supposed to commence last March, and singer Vince Neil has now revealed the reason for the six-month delay: He suffered a debilitating stroke last Christmas and has subsequently had to learn how to walk again, let alone rock again.

In an interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist John Katsilometes published Friday, Neil said that he had the stroke in his sleep on Christmas night 2024 and awoke the next morning realizing that “my whole left side went out.” Since then, the 64-year-old singer said, “I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough. The doctors said they didn’t think I’d be able to go back on stage again. I go, ‘No, no, I’m gonna do it. Watch and see.’”

Motley Crue kicked off what will now be a 10-show residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Friday night, with concerts set to continue there through Oct. 3.

When the residency opened was first announced as being postponed in the spring, the reason given was more vague — that Neil had to undergo “a required medical procedure.” And even in recent interviews given to promote the residency’s resumption, other band members were cagey about exactly what went down, before Neil himself let the cat out of the bag.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times published Thursday, bassist Nikki Sixx talked about Neil’s health issues and concerns that fans had raised after seeing the singer return to the stage with a solo show at the beginning of August. Sixx did not specify that Neil had had a stroke but was clear that it was a serious issue.

“He needed time to heal, and he’s been working really hard,” Sixx told the Times. “You can tell he’s working up the stamina, and a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, man, he’s not kicking ass like he used to,’ but it takes a lot of courage to have a doctor tell you you will probably never go onstage again and to fight through that. If he’s got some imperfect moments here and there, they’re getting erased as the days go with rehearsal.”

Neil told the Las Vegas newspaper about doing physical therapy with the help of his girlfriend on his 30-acre ranch for many months this year.

“I went from people carrying me to the bathroom, because I couldn’t walk myself, finally to a wheelchair,” the singer said. “I graduated to a walker, and then I had a cane. Now I don’t need anything. But it’s like a full-time job getting back to where you feel good again.. …. It takes a while to get your brain to start moving your legs, for them to do what your brain wants to do. You try to walk but it doesn’t come out right.”

Neil said that he was “90-95% back to where I was before, and it’s going to be great.”

Both of the aforementioned interviews — Neil’s with the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Sixx’s with the Los Angeles Times — also have their subjects addressing the band’s split with former guitarist Mick Mars in 2022 and the sore feelings and lawsuits that have come out of that. Among Mars’ contentions when he went public about being fired was that the band had relied on recordings in concerts for years.

“No, we never did that, ever,” said Neil in his interview, contending that Mars “was the only one on tape, because he kept fucking stuff up, so we had him on tape. … When he started going off on some weird tangent, our sound guy just turned him off and turned the tape on.”

writes that when Neil returned to the stage with his solo band in Boston on Aug. 2, some of the singer’s fans “applauded Neil’s long-awaited return,” while others in the Crue fandom “were concerned over his comparatively sluggish appearance in videos from the show.” A subsequent solo gig was canceled. With these factors all in mind, clips from the Vegas opening are obviously being heavily scrutinized in Motley Crue fan forums.

“I am going to push through the best I can,” Neil told the Las Vegas paper of the residency.

The group has a new compilation out, “From the Beginning,” that includes material from their 1981 debut album on up through a recent duet with Dolly Parton on the venerable “Home Sweet Home.”
