Jyoti has strongly denied the allegations that she demanded ₹30 crore in alimony, calling the claim completely baseless and defamatory. However, Jyoti has now clarified her stance, saying she has never made any such demand and that a malicious conspiracy is being spread to defame her reputation. “There is a court process which involves maintenance, but this is not a fixed amount. I have never demanded ₹30 crore. If someone can prove this, I am ready to face any punishment,” she explained. In her emotional statement, Jyoti Singh emphasized that despite their differences, she still considers herself Pawan Singh’s wife and has no desire to part ways.

Jyoti said, “Until I am divorced from Pawan Singh, I prefer to be called his wife and remain his wife. I am an Indian woman, and for me, marriage is sacred.
