by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

The trailer has debuted for Marta Bergman’s drama “L’enfant bélier” (The Silent Run) before it world premieres in International Competition at Cairo Film Festival.

The film centers on Sara and Adam who, with their two-year-old daughter, have entered Belgium illegally and are now trying to reach England. Crammed with other migrants in the back of a van, fear starts to overtake hope. Redouane, a police officer for 20 years, spends his nights chasing smugglers on Belgium’s busy motorway network. That night, as his team attempts to stop a van suspected of transporting migrants, everything changes.

The cast of the film, shot in French and Arabic, includes with Salim Kechiouche, Zbeida Belhajamor, Clara Toros and Abda Razak Alsweha.

The writers are Bergman, Camille Mol, Ely Chevillot and Sacha Ferbus.

The producers are Cassandre Warnauts and Jean-Yves Roubin for Frakas Productions, and Geneviève Lavoie and Richard Angers for Productions des Années Lumière.

International sales are being handled by B-Rated Intl. International distributors so far attached include Cineclub Internazionale (Italy), Destiny (France), O’Brother (Benelux) and Axia (Canada).

Born in Bucharest, Bergman first worked as a freelance journalist for print and television, before turning to documentary filmmaking. Her documentaires, which explore Romania and the Roma communities, include “Clejani Stories, Histoires, Povesti …,” “Happy Stay,” “One Day My Prince Will Come,” “Bucharest, Anonymous Faces,” and “The Ballad of the Snake, A Gypsy Story.”

In 2018, she directed her first fiction feature “Alone at My Wedding,” produced by Frakas Productions and shot between Belgium and Romania. It was selected at ACID in Cannes. “The Silent Run” is her second feature film.

Kylie Jenner Debuts New Kitten After Dog’s Death

Kylie Jenner has a new furry friend.

The Kardashians star shared a series of videos featuring an adorable white kitten on social media, days after announcing the death of her beloved dog Norman.

In one video posted on her Instagram Stories Nov. 7, Kylie, 28, showed the cat meowing as it walked around her home. She subsequently shared a close-up look at the feline licking its paws while staring into the camera.

While Kylie—who is mom to daughter Stormi Webster, 7, and son Aire Webster, 3, with ex Travis Scott—didn’t share the name of the cute critter or whether it’s officially part of her household, she recently said goodbye to another beloved animal as she marked the loss of her Italian Greyhound.

“I had never loved anything so much,” Kylie shared in a heartfelt Instagram post in October, accompanied by a photo carousel documenting the canine’s life. “I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one. Then, right after I turned 17, I got you for Christmas, and it was the best gift I could have ever received.”

Tame Impala Deliver 'Deadbeat' Debuts At Tour Opener

Tame Impala Deliver ‘Deadbeat’ Debuts At Tour Opener

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

Tame Impala made up for lost time Monday (Oct. 27) at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center, as the Kevin Parker-led Australian band debuted nine songs from their new album, Deadbeat, at their first proper show since March 2023.

Performing in the round for the first time, Tame Impala was at times nearly drowned out by the screams of a younger female demographic — some of whom perhaps only discovered the band in recent years through Parker’s collaborations with artists such as Dua Lipa and Justice. Parker also professed to be suffering from some kind of illness (he was drinking Throat Coat tea throughout), but his voice rarely sounded strained throughout the two-plus hour, 24-song set.

During the first portion, Tame Impala alternated older favorites such as “Breathe Deeper,” “Elephant” and “Gossip” with more electronic- and dance-driven new tracks such as “Dracula,” “Afterthought” and “My Old Ways,” the latter of which benefited from a heavy, psychedelic breakdown during its midsection.

“So, as you might know, this is the first night of the world tour,” Parker said. “So that means it’s a pretty epic night, and there’s nowhere more epic than to kick this shit off than New York City. It also means anything can happen, and by that I mean for the better, but also, anything can fall apart at any moment, just so you know. But it’s all very exciting and electric.”

After “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” the band ran through an instrumental snippet of the new “No Reply” as the camera followed Parker off the stage, through a tunnel and then into a bathroom. Thankfully, the cameraman panned down to Parker’s shoes as the artist relieved himself. When he walked back into the arena, he sat down on a smaller platform at the back of the floor, which was encircled by lamps and synthesizers. Parker proceeded to play and sing the new songs “Ethereal Connection” and “Not My World” while at times laying flat on his back.

With the aid of confetti cannons and state-of-the-art lasers, the set revved back into rock’n’roll action with “Let It Happen” and “Alter Ego,” the lone song lifted from the band’s 2010 debut, Innerspeaker. To begin the encore, Tame Impala played Parker’s Grammy-winning Justice collaboration, “Neverender,” for the first time, then closed things out with the hit “The Less I Know the Better” and the seven-minute Deadbeat finale “End of Summer.”

Deadbeat is the follow-up to 2020’s The Slow Rush and debuted last week at No. 4 the Billboard 200. After Tame Impala’s fall shows conclude Nov. 17 in Los Angeles, the group will be back in action with a spring tour of Europe and the U.K., beginning April 4 in Porto, Portugal. Parker will also be on the DJ decks for three early December shows in Australia opening for Justice.

Last night, Vogue World 2025 took over the famed Paramount lot to explore the expansive relationship between fashion and film. Dakota Johnson took the moment to debut her Valentino partnership, and pay tribute to her own longheld creative collaboration with designer Alessandro Michele.

Johnson wore look 40 from Michele’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection: a long pink gown that clings close to the body, with fanning, crystal floral appliqués, and a tulle-ruffled neckline. It hit all of the marks of a Dakota Johnson look, with exquisite detailing and sheer elements.

While the night’s look was ever-so-slightly parred back, Johnson just recently defended her love of a naked dress in an interview with Vogue Germany: “I really don’t care,” she said about her penchant for sheerness. “I’ve been able to wear some of the most beautiful dresses, and I feel beautiful in them, so I wear them.”

Johnson wore her trademark bangs and her brunette hair long and straight, accessorizing with simple drop earrings and a rectangular, black Valentino clutch bag.

  • Boyle, who rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and has since achieved major musical success.
  • She has reconnected with fans on Instagram, sharing updates about her stroke recovery, her return to the recording studio, and exciting new projects in development.

Susan Boyle has traded in her brunette locks for a brand new look.

The former Britain’s Got Talent contestant surprised fans by debuting a blonde bob hairstyle at the Pride Of Britain Awards 2025 in London on Monday, October 20. Boyle showed off her look in a black-and-white floral-patterned dress, accessorized with a black fur shawl, a matching clutch, and a pearl necklace.

“What a wonderful evening at the Pride of Britain Awards! 💖 It was such an honour to celebrate so many truly inspiring people,” Boyle captioned Instagram pics of herself at the event on Tuesday, October 21. “Everyone looked absolutely fabulous, and it was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces, including the brilliant Anne Hegerty (I’m a huge fan of The Chase)! A night full of pride, joy and admiration for some incredible heroes. 🌟.”

Fans flooded the post’s comments section with compliments. “Looking absolutely gorgeous..and such a beautiful outfit.✨️🌹,” one person wrote, while another added, “You look beautiful and your hair looks fab too ❤️❤️.”

“You look beautiful Susan, I ❤️your hair it really suits you xx,” a different user gushed. Someone else shared, “Miss, your bob is FIRE 🔥.”

Boyle rose to fame on Season 3 of BGT in 2009, as her audition performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables went viral. Though she finished second in the competition, she has gone on to achieve major success in the music industry, releasing seven studio albums and earning two Grammy nominations.

Boyle returned to the BGT stage in June 2023 to sing “I Dreamed a Dream” with the U.K. cast of Les Misérables. The performance was a meaningful one, as she revealed that she had suffered a stroke the year prior.

“For the past year I have worked so hard to get my speech and singing back, with the sole aim of being able to sing on stage again & tonight my hard work & perseverance paid off, singing the song that started it all, ‘I Dreamed A Dream,’” she wrote via Instagram at the time.

Boyle returned to Instagram for the first time since 2023 earlier this year to give fans an exciting career update. “Today’s a special day — it’s my birthday! But I’ve got something exciting to share… I’m back and working on some wonderful new projects that I can’t wait for you to hear about! ✨,” she captioned the April 1 post. “More news will be coming very soon, but I just wanted to say how much I’ve missed you all. Your support means the world to me and I’m more determined and excited than ever.”

One month later, Boyle celebrated returning to the recording studio for the first time in six years. “[It was] something I was told I might never achieve again. But here we are, in my happy place!” she captioned a May 19 Instagram post. “I want to thank my manager, Geraldine, for being my absolute rock through everything and for helping me get back to where I belong. A million thanks.”

Mikey Madison Debuts Freshly Chopped Hair for Her Next Role

by jummy84 October 19, 2025
written by jummy84

“For this look, I wanted something that felt softly sculpted, natural, timeless, and romantic,” Calhoun shares with Vogue. “We were going for effortless yet refined, something classic, but with a modern touch. We started the day with a big haircut and transformation for an upcoming role, which really set the tone for the rest of the styling. I wanted the hair to move beautifully and feel touchable.”

Schwarzkopf Professional products were Calhoun’s go-to for the entire process. After the cut, Calhoun prepped Madison’s hair with the Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Upload Bodyfying Cream, applying it from roots to ends on damp hair to add body, bounce, and control. Using a round brush, she blow-dried the hair smooth, all while keeping lift at the roots to maintain natural volume and movement. Once it was dry, Calhoun used a 1¼-inch curling iron to curl the hair in the same direction throughout, creating a uniform wave pattern. After curling, she pinned each section to cool and set the shape, which Calhoun says helps keep the waves in their hold, and a smooth finish. When the curls had fully cooled, she brushed through the hair to soften the texture and blend the pattern. Using setting clips, Calhoun shaped the waves together, refining the “S” shape, and allowing them to set for a few minutes.

Once the waves were defined, she misted the Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Texture Craft Spray through the mid-lengths and ends to build a bit of texture and movement. To finish, she applied Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Freeze for long-lasting, locked-in hold, and using her fingers, brushed a small amount of Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Glow gently at the roots to tame flyaways. “The products really make the difference,” stresses Calhoun.

The rest of Madison’s glam was kept similarly classic; Melissa Hernandez was on-hand for a poreless base and ever-so-delicate, grapefruit-toned blush on the apples of her cheeks, a sweep of liquid eyeliner, and a flutter of ’60s-style lashes, with a rosy pink lip to finish.

Hair and makeup matched the romantic custom Dior gown, inspired by Look 71 from Jonathan Anderson’s spring 2026 collection and womenswear debut for the French house. The dress featured billowing sleeves cuffed just above the wrists to create a retro silhouette, with a deep scoopneck, bow-tied waist, and flowing skirt, all in a sheer, embroidered silver fabric. With its bouncing, three-dimensional hemline, the dress reflected the movement of her sleek, free-flowing hair. As Mikey Madison and Rena Calhoun show, the story starts with seriously good glam.

Perform While Suni Lee Debuts

Four members of the K-pop girl group TWICE — Nayeon, Jihyo, Tzuyu and Momo — hit the runway for Wednesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and they were joined by another superstar on the catwalk.

The quartet kicked things off with “This Is For,” the title track from their fourth full-length album that came out in July. The lyrics were a perfect fit for the fashion show that celebrates women, with lines like “This is for all my ladies who don’t get hyped enough” and “I wanna go where the baddest girls are from” (we think they found them on Wednesday night). Next up was their December single “Strategy,” from their EP of the same name.

For both songs, the TWICE women wore their Victoria’s Secret PINK best, including fuzzy knee-high boots and the PINK brand emblazoned in silver rhinestones. The group was also flanked by backup dancers as well as models dressed in a full range of looks from the more youthful and casual PINK brand, including hoodies and sweatpants, striped gym socks, cotton bras and undies, beanies and furry cardigans.

One of those PINK models: Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Sunisa “Suni” Lee, making her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut.

TWICE stopped by to chat during the pink-carpet pre-show, with Tzuyu telling the interviewer, “We love the fun and free feeling of the PINK.” Via a translator, Jihyo added: “We are used to doing the performances with nine members, but this time we are able to do only four of us, so I hope you guys enjoy this new performance of us.”

Also performing on Wednesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show: KAROL G, Madison Beer and Missy Elliott.

Next up for TWICE: The nonet announced dates for their This Is For 2026 world tour, with plans to hit North America, Europe and the U.K.

Mia Goth Debuts Jonathan Anderson’s Provocative Dior Dress

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Just five days after Jonathan Anderson’s debut Dior runway show, one of his most provocative pieces traveled over 5000 miles from Paris to Los Angeles. The occasion? The premiere of Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated new movie, Frankenstein. The lucky wearer? None other than Mia Goth, Who What Wear’s October cover star. She joins Jacob Elordi in the monster movie everyone will be talking about for the remainder of 2025 (and beyond).

Goth was announced as one of Dior’s newest ambassadors less than two weeks ago, so a red carpet moment was inevitable. The question of which runway look she’d choose to debut, however, remained a talking point among fashion editors in recent days. Well, now we know the answer—and it was certainly worth the wait. Styled by Jamie Mizrahi, Goth wore Anderson’s sheer black lace dress, a.k.a. look 41. On the runway, it was styled with a statement hat and beige undergarments, but Goth decided to ditch the topper and go for black bikini-cut underwear. She also wore Tiffany & Co. earrings and two Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. rings. Scroll down to see her newest red carpet look.
