20 Best Dances To Mark 20th Anniversary

written by jummy84

The pros of Dancing With the Stars never let up when it comes to creating show-stopping numbers, but there are a select few numbers that will forever remain in the hearts and minds of fringe lovers everywhere.

In no particular order, here are 20 of the most memorable performances from the last 20 years.

1. Season 33 Argentine Tango with Derek Hough and Mark Ballas

In 2024, the veteran pros performed a same-sex Argentine tango into the November 26 finale that was a historic moment for the franchise: For the first time, two men performed hand in hand under the mirror ball.

2. Season 10 Quickstep featuring Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger

Season 10 champs Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger proved early on that the Mirror Ball Trophy was theirs to lose after performing a spirited quickstep to “Anything Goes.”

3. Season 19 Freestyle Featuring Mark Ballas and Sadie Robertson

Always the clever choreographer, Mark Ballas dressed up as Super Mario while Sadie Robertson donned a father-approved flush frock in this Season 19 freestyle version of a video game.

4. Season 30 Freestyle Featuring Iman Shumpert and Danielle Karagach

Iman Shumpert became the first NBA player to earn a perfect score of 40 for his ingenious freestyle with Danielle Karagach to “I Got 5 On It” in Season 30. The duo overcame their absolutely ridiculous difference in height and went on to win the Mirror Ball Trophy.

5. Season 17 Freestyle Featuring Derek Hough and Amber Riley

Season 17 winners Derek Hough and Amber Riley made hand towels sexy in this unforgettable freestyle from 2013.

6. Season 18 Contemporary Featuring Derek Hough and Amy Purdy

Season 18’s Amy Purdy was the first double amputee to ever appear on Dancing with the Stars. Lucky for her, she was paired with the five-time winner and got to perform gorgeous routines like this emotional contemporary to “Human.”

7. Season 5 Paso Doble Featuring Mel B and Maks Chermkovskiy

In Season 5, Mel B was a perfect match for ballroom bad boy Maks Chermkovskiy in this impeccable Paso Doble that notched perfect scores.

8. Season 20 Contemporary Featuring Sharna Burgess and Noah Galloway

Sharna Burgess hit a career high in Season 20 by choreographing a stirring contemporary to “American Soldier” for her and Noah Galloway, a double amputee combat veteran.

9. Season 2 Freestyle Featuring Cheryl Burke and Drew Lachey

Yee-haw to Season 2 champs Cheryl Burke and Drew Lachey, who had us wanting to “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy” during this knee-slapping freestyle.

10. Season 33 Contemporary Featuring Danny Amendola and Witney Carson

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson went crazy viral for their next-to-impossible leg lift during their Dedication Night contemporary in Season 33.

11. Season 19 Jazz Featuring Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson

It was inevitable — but no less appreciated — when Season 19 winner Alfonso Ribeiro trotted out his classic Carlton for a jazz dance with Witney Carson.

12. Season 22 Freestyle Featuring Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd

Deaf celebrity Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd solidified their standing as Season 22’s winning couple after performing this stunning freestyle to “The Sound of Silence” in the finals.

13. Season 16 Argentine Tango Featuring Zendaya and Val Chermkovskiy

Look, we get why Zendaya still feels wronged from her time on Dancing With the Stars at the tender age of 16. After watching her near-perfect Argentine tango with partner Val Chermkovskiy, we must ask yet again: Why didn’t she win in 2013?

14. Season 30 Argentine Tango Featuring Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson

Jojo Siwa became the latest DWTS trailblazer in Season 30 when she and Jenna Johnson were paired as the first same-sex duo. Among their perfect moves: this slick Argentine tango that helped them finish second for the season.

15. Season 33 Jazz Featuring Mark Ballas and Charli D’Amelio

Kudos once again to Mark Ballas, who hit pay-dirt in Season 33 when he was paired with the talented Charli D’Amelio. Among their master moves: this week 4 jazz routine to the theme from The Simpsons.

16. Season 23 Argentine Tango Featuring Gleb Savchenko and Jana Kramer

Gleb Savchenko and Jana Kramer pushed the envelope in Season 23 with this extremely sexy Argentine tango that started on black silk sheets in bed.

17. Season 31 Samba Featuring Gabby Windey and Val Chermkovskiy

This Season 31 samba between Gabby Windey and Val Chermkovskiy is as much a testament to the pro’s choreographing skills as it is to executive producer Conrad Green, who oversaw the eye-popping backdrop.

18. Season 9 Paso Doble Featuring Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa

A very young Derek Hough had fun with dark lighting and glow-in-the-dark costumes in this innovative Paso Doble from Season 9 with Joanna Krupa.

19. “Moon River” Tribute Dance For The Late Len Goodman

Current and former pros paid tribute to the late Len Goodman in 2023 by waltzing perfectly to “Moon River.” It ended with the troupe gesturing to an empty middle chair on the judges’ dais.

20. Season 12 Argentine Tango Featuring Kym Johnson and Hines Ward

Kym Johnson gave just about everybody a huge scare in Season 12 when she fell on her neck while rehearsing her Argentine tango with Hines Ward. Despite an initial fear over losing feeling in her limbs, Johnson and Ward went on to perform the number without a hitch and ended up winning the season.

Gauahar didn’t hold back in her response and said, “Why shouldn’t I??? Do you have a rule book??? Please live your life by your own rules. I live by my own rules.” Her confident reply struck a chord with many followers, who immediately came to her defense.

Shirley Ballas “emotional” as Strictly star dances a “perfect” rumba

by jummy84 October 19, 2025
written by jummy84

Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirely Ballas was left emotional following Alex Kington’s rumba during tonight’s episode (Saturday 18th October) of the show.

Alongside her professional partner Johannes Radebe, the Doctor Who star took to the dance floor to perform a moving rumba to Fast Car by Tracy Chapman.

The routine was showered with praise by the Strictly judges, with Ballas rising from her chair to hug Kingston.

She said: “I’m going to get emotional. In all my time on Strictly, I have never seen a pair of legs work like that. Every close in place. Every forward walk turning.”

She added: “Just an absolute perfect routine for me. The choreography was stunning. The way the temperature was between you was portrayed beautifully.”

Alex Kingston.. BBC/Ray Burmiston

Anton Du Beke also then rose to give Alex a handshake, before Craig said in his feedback: “I would have liked to see you exaggerate the top line ever so slightly. The legs, the balance, the tone. You are becoming quite a dancer. You really are.”

Motsi Mabuse was also full of praise, saying: “This was on a whole different level. And the breathing in the dancing. And just the partnership, the dancing… the both of you.”

Alex and Johannes went on to score 36 out of a possible 40, with Ballas awarding her first 10 of the series. (It’s never to early, after all!)

Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman ahead of her scores being revealed, Alex said of her routine: “The thing is, I have such an amazing connection with Johannes, and it’s all about connection, and it’s, sort of, not being embarrassed about being connected.”

Later in the broadcast, Shirley professed that she was having another “emotional moment”, as Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola closed the show with a joyous performance of Golden from K-Pop Demon Hunters.

SRK Fans United shared a video of Shah Rukh with dancers on the Filmfare Awards stage, apparently dancing during rehearsals. The second part of the video shows a huge crowd gathered outside the venue, even though it is dark. The caption claims that fans crowded outside the stadium at 3 am where Filmfare Awards 2025 will be held, just to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan. “King Khan rehearsing for Filmfare award with crowd gathering outside the stadium at 3 am,” read the caption.

Reginae Carter Leaves Her Siblings In Stitches With TikTok Dances

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Reginae Carter is never one to shy away from a moment — and this time, she brought some of her siblings along for the fun. During a recent Lil Wayne ‘Tha Carter VI’ tour stop, the vibe was high, the cameras were rolling, and Reginae? She was deep in her TikTok bag. But, it wasn’t just her energy that stole the show — it was her brothers’ reactions that had everybody cracking up.

Reginae Carter Said, “The VIP Section Is The Real Show”

In a clip posted to her TikTok, Reginae is seen standing in what appears to be the VIP section, confidently rapping along to a viral audio. She’s fully in character, delivering every bar like she wrote it herself — puffing her chest, hitting expressions, and owning her moment like only she can. But in the background, her little brothers Kameron and Neal are just chillin’, posted up like they’ve seen it all before.

The two exchange amused glances and smirks, clearly entertained but also giving major “Our big sis is crazy” energy. The contrast between Reginae’s over-the-top confidence and her brothers’ deadpan reactions had fans in stitches, with many calling it a classic sibling moment. One thing’s for sure — the Carter kids know how to steal the spotlight, even when they’re just watching from the sidelines.

The TL Is In Shambles!

Social media wasted no time running to The Shade Room comment section to sound off on the Carter crew. Fans couldn’t get over how Kameron, Neal, and Reginae all look like Lil Wayne — just in their own unique ways. Many agreed Reginae might be the shortest of the bunch, but she’s clearly got the biggest personality, and honestly? She’s giving coolest big sis ever!

One Instagram user @youngfiree_s said, “Wayne, Wayne jr & Waynette“

And, Instagram user @blvckmonalisa added, “Wayne standing there in 3 different forms 😂”

Meanwhile, Instagram user @daniellebreyon commented, “She dont play about her brothers or her daddy.“

While, Instagram user @shameless_sherrice shared, “She is too cute! I love seeing how she interacts with her siblings ❤️”

Instagram user @saymisskim wrote, “They so cute back there laughing at big sis ❤️”

Finally, Instagram user @theekimpeccable said, “Girl try being a mom of three and the tiniest person in the house 😩😂😂”

The Carter Genes Are Strong

To top it all off, Reginae took to Instagram to bless the timeline with an up-close photo of her and her brothers — and the Carter genes are definitely strong. Reginae looked so cute rocking her shades, a crisp white tee with a matching purse, grey jeans, and of course, that all-access VIP backstage pass. Kam, Lil Wayne’s son with Lauren London, stood tall — literally towering over his siblings — with his curly fro and a Nipsey Hussle chain that paid tribute to his roots and his swag. And then there’s Neal, Wayne’s son with Nivea, who had folks doing double takes — because baby boy is copy and paste 2004 Lil Wayne. From the face to the pose to the entire vibe, Neal looked like he just stepped out of a vintage ‘Go DJ’ video.

Vicky Jain And Samarth Jurel Dances To Popular Track of ‘Hera Pheri 2’ After Vicky Getting 45 Stitches On His Hand

Vicky Jain and Samarth Jurel, known for their camaraderie on reality shows like “Laughter Chefs” and “Bigg Boss,” once again grabbed attention with their playful bond. The duo, who share a brother-like relationship, were recently seen celebrating actress Ayesha Khan’s birthday, where a hilarious video from the party has been making waves on Instagram. In the clip, Vicky and Samarth are seen dancing in a quirky “handicapped” style to a popular track from Hera Pheri 2, leaving fans in splits.

Viewers couldn’t stop laughing as both rolled on the floor with uncontrollable energy, while Samarth received most of the credit for the fun. The laughter came despite Vicky’s recent mishap. He had suffered a serious accident that left him with 45 stitches on his right hand after pieces of glass pierced his skin. Vicky was hospitalized for treatment, and updates about his condition were first shared by Samarth Jurel and later confirmed by a close friend of Vicky’s wife, actress Ankita Lokhande.

Thankfully, Vicky has now recovered enough to return home. Without wasting time, he joined his friends to celebrate Ayesha’s birthday and even posted cheerful videos of the evening on his Instagram story. The video starts with glimpses of Reem Sheikh and Aparna Dixit before shifting to a playful “boys versus girls” theme. The reel humorously compares how a girl is pampered after an accident, while a boy continues to enjoy life carefree. To add to the comic effect, Samarth tucked one arm inside his shirt to create the illusion of missing a hand, letting the sleeve dangle loosely.

Meanwhile, Vicky matched his friend’s energy by dancing with his injured hand wrapped in the same style. Their antics carried a caption that read, “Find happiness in every situation,” perfectly capturing the spirit of the moment. Several celebrities, including Reshu Jain, Garvita Sadhwani, Naira Banerjee, Anjali Arora, and Kanika Mann, reacted with laughing emojis and praised the video’s lighthearted vibe. Fans, too, flooded the comments section, applauding Samarth’s creativity and the duo’s infectious sense of humor.

Demi Lovato Dances the Heartbreak Away in ‘Here All Night’ Music Video

by jummy84 September 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Demi Lovato has dropped an infectious new single, “Here All Night.” The dance-ready track was produced by Zhone, and arrives alongside a music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis.

“Begging for the bass ’til it’s hitting me right/ Sweatin’ on the dance floor under the lights,” Lovato howls on the soaring pop track. “To get over you/ I’ll be here all night.”

“’Here All Night’ is a breakup song I wrote by channeling a character, and it was so freeing to step into someone else’s story,” Lovato shared in a statement. “From the moment we finished the song, I knew it needed to be a dance video. It’s about dancing through heartbreak. It’s raw and empowering, with a playful, voyeuristic point of view.”

“Here All Night” will appear on Lovato’s forthcoming ninth album alongside her recent single “Fast.” Lovato tapped Zhone — the music maker behind “Someone for Me” by Kylie Minogue, “Rush” by Troye Sivan, and “Joyride” by Kesha — to executive-produce the project.

“It’s been so inspiring working with Demi and experiencing her journey of continued leveling up,” Zhone told Rolling Stone about their work together. “She is such a master in the studio. This album is about letting inhibitions go, and we had so much fun making this music! It really comes across throughout.”

Trending Stories

Earlier this week, Lovato discussed her new era of music during an appearance on the Just Trish podcast. “Where I’m at today, my music is a huge reflection of where I’m at,” Lovato explained on the podcast. “I’m feeling more confident in my skin. I am in a really great place in my life. I’m happy, I’m in love, and that was part of the reason why I started making this music. The last album I made was Holy Fvck, and it was rock. It was very emotionally charged. It was, you know, there was anger and there was angst and sadness, and I’m just not in that place anymore.”

She added that despite finishing her ninth LP, she has already started recording more songs. “[This] was a big year for me, but I’m so inspired creatively right now that I’m already back in the studio,” the singer said. “I’m not taking a break. I’m so inspired and hungry for more music, because I feel like I tapped into something that feels really good and I want to chase that. I was in the studio yesterday, and I’m in the studio again on Friday and I’m just going to continue to work. I’m not stopping.”

Graham Greene, ‘Dances With Wolves’ actor and Oscar nominee, dead at 73

by jummy84 September 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Oscar-nominated Canadian actor Graham Greene, who broke through with memorable roles across several genres at a time when the entertainment industry shunned Indigenous talent, has died at age 73.

Greene’s management team said he died on Monday in Stratford, Ont., after a long illness.

The actor, who was born in Ohsweken, Ont., and is from the Six Nations Reserve, starred in a steady stream of film, television and theatre projects from the late 1970s onward.

He earned an Oscar nomination for the supporting role of “Kicking Bird” in the 1990 film Dances With Wolves, an American western co-starring and directed by Kevin Costner that won best picture.

Last year, he won a Canadian Screen Award for playing a version of himself in the comedy thriller Seeds, directed by Kaniehtiio Horn.

Horn, who was born in Ottawa and raised on a Mohawk reserve, says she first encountered Greene’s work when her family would rent the 1991 film Clearcut from their local video store.

“He was playing this playful, badass character,” Horn told The Canadian Press on Sunday night. “He was one of the first roles that I think we saw where we could actually cheer for the Indigenous character as he enacted some revenge.”

“It was really cathartic to watch for a lot of Indigenous people, especially after the Oka Crisis in the early ’90s,” she said.

That performance remained one to watch for Horn as she later became an actor.

“You can tell he’s having fun as an actor. That is just the best thing to watch, because he really made it his own,” Horn said.

Horn and Greene would end up working together on the Syfy series Defiance as well as the FX hit Reservation Dogs. By the time she had cast him in her directorial debut Seeds they had built up what she described as a “niece-uncle” rapport. Horn said crews shot Greene’s scenes over the course of one day and said she loved riffing back-and-forth on set together.

“Getting him to play and improvise…it was a little bit surreal, but he made it easy for me. I feel like he just wanted me to do good, and he would tell me that. He would tell me that he’s proud of me,” she said.

Horn said Greene’s death marks the loss of “one of the old guard,” likening him to other seasoned Indigenous actors such as Gary Farmer and Wes Studi.

She added Greene was an inspiration for not allowing himself to be pigeonholed into one type of role.

“As much as they probably wanted to stereotype him … he never let that happen. And even then, the ‘natives on the horse’ roles that he got, he stood out and made those roles his own and just interesting to watch.”

Lou Diamond Phillips, Greene’s co-star on the short-lived TV show Wolf Lake, said he was “terribly saddened” to hear of Greene’s passing on social media.

Greene was awarded the Governor General’s award for lifetime artistic achievement in June, and received the Order of Canada in 2015.
