The Jonas Brothers — Kevin, Joe, and Nick — are set to bring holiday cheer to fans with their upcoming film A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. Disney+ released the official trailer on Monday, offering a glimpse into the heartwarming and humorous story that explores family, fame, and festive spirit. Written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, and directed by Jessica Yu, the film will premiere on November 14 on Disney+ and Hulu.

The trailer opens with the trio wrapping up a concert in London before planning to fly home to New York for Christmas. While Nick and Kevin chat with their wives, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas, in sweet cameo appearances over video calls, Joe decides to unwind at a local bar. There, he confides in a stranger, admitting, “As the Jonas Brothers, we’re great. But as brothers, whatever magic was there is just… dead.” Their holiday plans take a chaotic turn when they discover their private jet has been destroyed, leaving them stranded and forced to spend Christmas together in unexpected circumstances.

Alongside the brothers’ heartwarming journey of reconnection, the film also explores Joe’s budding romance with Lucy, played by Chloe Bennet. Their charming date scenes show Joe telling his brothers, “We had a connection,” only for Kevin to tease, “How many connections have you had this month?” and Nick to add, “Joe can’t count that high.”

The star-studded cast also includes Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, and Justin Tranter.

With music, mischief, and brotherly love, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie is shaping up to be this year’s must-watch holiday treat.

Ananya Panday Left Farah Khan’s Set In Tears; Director Says, “Whichever Heroine I Make Cry…”

Ananya Panday celebrated her 27th birthday on October 30, 2025, surrounded by laughter, memories, and a few emotional moments. Over the years, the Gehraiyaan actress has made a mark for herself in Bollywood with performances in films like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Kesari Chapter 2.

Farah Khan’s Birthday Banter With Ananya Panday Steals The Show

Her birthday took an amusing turn during a recent appearance on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s upcoming talk show, where filmmaker Farah Khan shared a funny yet heartwarming moment with her. While chatting about her early career days, Ananya recalled, “I was fully confident… but then I left the set in tears,” remembering how nervous she once felt as a newcomer. Farah quickly added with her signature wit, “Whichever heroine I make cry ends up becoming a big star!” — leaving everyone, including Ananya, in splits.

The conversation reminded Farah of another incident from Deepika Padukone’s debut film Om Shanti Om (2007). Farah revealed that she had once scolded Deepika on set, which made her cry, but added that it came from a place of belief. “I knew she had it in her. I wanted her to give her best,” Farah said, praising Deepika’s growth since then.

As Ananya steps into another year, her career continues to flourish. After her recent role in Kesari Chapter 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, she is set to reunite with Kartik Aaryan in Tu Meri Main Tera and also star in Chand Mera Dil. With exciting projects ahead, Bollywood’s Gen-Z star seems all set for another big year.

Hole and Smashing Pumpkins legend Melissa Auf der Maur announces memoir ‘Even the Good Girls Will Cry’

Former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur has announced her memoir, Even The Good Girls Will Cry.

It will be Auf Der Maur’s first book and is described as a “part coming-of-age autobiography, part travel diary, part psychedelic scrapbook” and will also feature rare photos from throughout her career.

The memoir will be released via Da Capo on March 17, 2026 and you can pre-order/pre-save your copy here.

Auf Der Maur is seen as a pivotal figure in ’90s US alternative rock, and her career began as she was studying at university in Montreal when she formed the alternative rock band Tinker. She was recruited by Hole in 1994 and played on several records, including the 1998 classic ‘Celebrity Skin’. After leaving in 1999, she briefly joined The Smashing Pumpkins as touring member, and launched her solo career in 2004 with ‘Auf Der Maur’.

Auf Der Maur has said: “This book is about the decade that defined me and my generation, 1991-2001, and my life in the rock bands which allowed me to have a front row seat to an incredibly visceral and unforgettable moment in the counterculture.”

“It’s a love letter to the power of music and one-of-a-kind voices that make the world a cooler place; it’s also an ode to the analog, and what magic has been lost. Sharing what our generation witnessed, and what the world once was, in my hope of building a more livable future together.”

An official description of the book reads: “Even the Good Girls Will Cry begins with Auf der Maur’s bohemian upbringing in Montreal, where her early, deep connection to art and music gave her entry to the colorful and thriving local creative scene. Working as a cassette DJ and ticket girl, she would see (and sometimes meet) the luminaries who’d pass through town – Nirvana, Jane’s Addiction, Pavement, Sonic Youth.”

“Thanks to a thrown beer bottle and a long-shot fan letter to a PO Box, her band Tinker scored a life-changing opening slot for The Smashing Pumpkins and, sensing her natural talent on bass, Billy Corgan recommended her to Courtney Love, just one of the many uncanny threads that weaves destiny throughout this riveting memoir.”

“Whisked from her local scene and thrust into the eye of a hurricane of grief on a global stage, Melissa joined Hole for the band’s 1994 ‘Live Through This’ world tour just after the deaths of Kurt Cobain and Hole’s prior bassist, Kristen Pfaff, with Courtney Love at the center of it all. It was a tour of passionate intensity, as a chaotic yet stunningly powerful band constantly threatened to spin out of control. Melissa brings the reader with raging intimacy into the action, offering a heroic portrait of the unforgettable Courtney Love as she howled into the darkness as if to keep grief at bay.”

This summer, Auf Der Maur reunited with Corgan at a show in Montreal for ‘The Everlasting Gaze’, with the bassist also taking the moment to address her hometown crowd in French.

She also got back in the studio with Courtney Love last year for the first time in over two decades, and the two joined forces in an appearance on 070 Shake’s cover of Tim Buckley’s ‘Song To The Siren’.

Love and Auf der Maur also appeared on stage together in October 2018 in Hudson, New York, playing Hole songs ‘Doll Parts’, ‘Miss World’ and ‘Softer Softest’.

Auf Der Maur also dated Dave Grohl between 1999 and 2001, and in 2023 she reflected on the relationship, saying: “We had this beautiful compatible couple of years where, I mean, we were madly in love.”

Cyndi Lauper Says This Gracie Abrams Song Made Her Cry

by jummy84 October 17, 2025
written by jummy84

Girls just wanna have fun, but sometimes they just wanna cry, too. Luckily, Gracie Abrams has the perfect song for Cyndi Lauper to do just that.

The two women were paired up for Rolling Stone’s musicians on musicians series, and their conversation was published Friday (Oct. 17). Right off the bat, both ladies praised each other’s work, with Lauper revealing which track in Abrams’ discography made her emotional upon first listen.

“When I was listening to ‘I Know It Won’t Work,’ I started crying,” the 1980s icon revealed.

“What?” an astonished Abrams replied. “Don’t say that to me. I can’t believe you listened to any of the music.”

“I listened to all of it,” Lauper corrected.

The fandom certainly goes both ways, with the Gen Z pop star gushing that she listened to Lauper constantly growing up. Abrams also noted how much she was inspired by Lauper taking such creative control over her career early on.

“I feel so grateful, as a young person,” Abrams told her. “It’s so radically different now, but as I am growing up, I look at everything you’ve ever touched … I’ve adored it before I understood what you meant. Do you know what I mean? The more you grow into being a woman, the more you understand the significance of it.”

“I Know It Won’t Work” appears on Abrams’ debut album, Good Riddance. It’s one of several songs Lauper says she admires, showcasing Abrams’ “rhythm of what you’re doing in your songs, like the rapid speech.”

The two women’s conversation comes just after Abrams wrapped up years of touring in support of breakthrough sophomore album, The Secret of Us, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. She’s now back in the studio working on her next record, though she told Lauper she isn’t sure where her next era is taking her.

“Now that the album cycle is over, the next album isn’t made,” Abrams said. “I don’t know what I want to say yet.”

But, as Lauper pointed out from experience, inspiration will come. “You got your whole life now,” she told Abrams. “It’s going to be really great. You’re going to make it. You are going to write the book.”

The emotive song will appear on Uchis’ Sincerely: P.S. deluxe album

Kali Uchis has shared a new single, “Cry About It!” featuring Ravyn Lenae. The track heralds Uchis’ upcoming Sincerely: P.S. deluxe album, out Sept. 26 via Capitol Records.

The doo-wop-inspired ballad sees Uchis crooning, “Too bad, so sad, you should cry about it/ Llora, llora, hasta que ya te deje de doler/ Too bad, so sad, go cry about it.” Lenae adds her vocals to the chorus. The duo appeared on The Tonight Show to showcase the single live shortly before dropping the track.

Sincerely: P.S. is a follow-up to Uchis’ most recent LP, Sincerely, which dropped in May. The singer announced Sincerely in March with a witchy video she dropped on social media as well as letter she e-mailed to her fans.

In the letter she explained that she would now be signed to Capitol Records following their merger with Interscope. She added that she is still working with the same team behind her last two albums, Red Moon in Venus and Orquídeas. “Thank you all for the well-intentioned wishes on this journey, and thank you to my team,” she said in the letter. “I have boundless gratitude for my silent ascent throughout the years and am very much looking forward to what’s next.”

Uchis recently kicked off her first headlining arena tour. The tour marks Uchis’ biggest to date, traversing 24 cities and stopping at major venues like the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and Madison Square Garden in New York. It is set to wrap up in late September in in Los Angeles.
