President Trump Bashes Congresswomen Jasmine Crockett And Ilhan Omar

President Donald Trump took aim at Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) in remarks from the Oval Office. While speaking to the press on Thursday (Sept. 25), POTUS reacted to Crockett’s name being mentioned as a reporter attempted to ask him a question.

“Jasmine Crockett?” questioned the 79-year-old as he cut off the journalist. “Remember what I say: Is she a relation to the late, great Davy Crockett? I don’t think so. Let me tell you before you even ask: She’s a very low-IQ person.”

“I mean, if we ever have to pass an aptitude test, that’s the one who should take one because she shouldn’t even be,” he continued. “So I have no idea what you’re gonna—but I don’t even think we should waste our time. This is a low-IQ person who I can’t even believe is a congressperson,” the president exclaimed.

“Between her and Ill-man Omar and the group,” he continued, mispronouncing Omar’s name and suggesting she also did not belong in Congress. “You know, I met the head of Somalia. Did you know that? And I suggested that maybe he’d like to take her back. He said ‘I don’t want her.’”

His remarks come at about the 29:58-minute mark of the live-streamed press conference.

The journalist continued to inform Trump that Crockett compared U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids to slave patrols.

“I want to ask you if you think there should be consequences for members of Congress who make these kinds of comparisons?” the reporter pressed.

“Well, I think she’s gone over the line,” answered Trump. “The Democrats have become radical left lunatics. They have policies that nobody’s going to buy.”

In Crockett’s full remarks, she explained, “As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols.”

“If you know the history of policing in this country, then you understand that they were born out of slave patrols. And now with the Supreme Court saying this, it’s almost like you can just go grab them up. That is what they’re saying, and that is a problem. We all should have a problem with that. But when you don’t want to teach American history that includes Black history, then you lose out on the benefit of understanding that we have been down this road before. And it was not good, and we fixed it once, and it is a shame that we are relitigating this, and we are going to have to fix it again.”

Jasmine Crockett Targeted In Racist Social Media Rant By Laura Loomer

Rep. Jasmine Crockett was once again on the receiving end of harsh words by Laura Loomer. The far-right political activist shared her controversial remarks while reacting to a video of the Texas congresswoman criticizing a House resolution honoring Charlie Kirk.

In the CNN clip, Crockett voiced she was admittedly “hurt” by knowing only two white House representatives voted against a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk. Loomer quoted the clip on X and wrote, “It hurts my heart that we have ghetto black b**ches who hate America serving in Congress.” The post immediately gained traction and garnered backlash and also support from fellow far-right conservatives.

Journalist Jemele Hill sarcastically reacted to Loomer’s words by writing, “I’m sure this was totally taken out of context,” to which the Trump ally doubled down with, “I meant every word, actually.” Hill warned her to keep the same energy IRL by replying, “Oh I know you did. Let’s see if you can keep that same energy if you see the Congresswoman in person.”

Crockett has been the subject of countless conservatives spewing racist remarks this year alone. Last month, Blaze TV host Sara Gonzales was escorted out of a town hall by security for yelling out, “Jasmine, the people of Dallas deserve better than a fake ghetto hoodrat! Do they know you’re a spoiled rich kid from Missouri?” Newsmax contributor Todd Starnes also previously claimed she is “cosplaying a gangsta,” attempting to undermine her upbringing.

In her initial sentiments on CNN’s State of the Union, Crockett was expressing her disappointment about a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk that was passed by the House.

“The rhetoric that Charlie Kirk continuously put out there was rhetoric that specifically targeted people of color. It is unfortunate that even our colleagues could not see how harmful his rhetoric was, specifically to [people of color],” she expressed.

Charley Crockett on Why Outlaw Country Is Bigger Than Pop Country

Charley Crockett has seen his name in a lot of headlines over the past week, thanks not only to his funky new album Dollar a Day, but for an online feud with the country singer Gavin Adcock. After Crockett posted his thoughts about authenticity in country music on Instagram, Adcock accused the Texas songwriter of being a “cosplay cowboy.”

In a new interview with Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast, Crockett shares more of his take on what constitutes country music, and disputes the notion that “outlaw country” is a subgenre of today’s country. He says it’s the other way around.

“They call the outlaw movement a subgenre of commercial country, but today there’s no doubt in my mind, that what they’re calling pop country is most certainly a subgenre of outlaw,” Crockett says on Nashville Now, adding that he thinks the pop-country industry is mostly vacuous.

“I don’t think they stand for anything. They stand for Auto-Tune and songs written by a committee,” he says. “Outlaw was about standing up for your rights against a very rigid music business system. In a game where you throw money at a young artist, and if it doesn’t work out, no problem, because there’s 1,000 standing behind you, well, a controversial figure is unlikely to ever rise.”

Crockett and Adcock have gone back and forth for over a week now, with Crockett mostly refraining from answering Adcock’s salvos. But in a Sunday Instagram post almost certainly directed at his foil, Crockett wrote: “Black music made me. I will not apologize. Raised by a single mama. I am not ashamed. Many men have tried to destroy me. I will not lose.”
