N.Hoolywood Test Product Exchange Service Fall 2025 Menswear Collection

There’s a lot of play-acting in fashion, and it extends beyond “types” into materiality. This is especially true in menswear, where over the past few years work- and activewear have become trendy. Translating purposeful garments into fashionable ones often means stripping them of their original functionality; an office worker, for example, is unlikely to need the protection offered by a steel cap in a boot, but he might be all-in for the aesthetic.

Daisuke Obana’s N.Hoolywood Test Product Exchange Service occupies a middle ground between function and fashion. The very purpose of this line is to reinterpret military gear for urban use; at the same time, the idea, according to press materials, is that TPES be “recognized as an authentic military line,” which seems like a big ask. Expertise is the difference between this offering and others with a similar aesthetic. Obana is deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, working with his team to understand the history, setting, purpose of the vintage garments they find. For fall, the team focused on the British Special Forces; the result is a plethora of jackets and pants with plenty of zippers and utility pockets in a somber palette of khaki, olive drab, navy, and black, many of which look sturdy or warm. A number of pieces seem incredibly light in their make. Via email, Obana explained that many of the textiles used work new synthetic fibers into active fabrics.

In keeping with TPES’s style, this season’s “scenography” has a documentary feel. Photographed, Obana said, in “a training facility unofficially used by members of Japan’s Self-Defense Forces special units, [that] is also famous as a kind of holy ground for people who play serious survival games,” the models look like soldiers. This August marked 80 years since the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, following “the war meant to end all wars,” World War I.  Global peace remains elusive. Given the incessant reporting on the activities of ICE, the fact that some of the models wear face-hiding masks is triggering. (It’s difficult to pedal back and remember that these accessories have an actual protective function—warmth.) Having shared this reaction with the designer, he replied: “In Japan, images like these are shown in the media so routinely that people’s awareness has weakened. What begins with masks can easily extend to how we see war and crisis on the news—treated as if it were just part of everyday life. Through this visual, I wanted viewers to pause and reflect, to resist that sense of normalcy, and to hope for this global situation to end soon….” He continued, “Beyond politics, I believe it’s important for each of us to raise awareness so things can move toward resolution. Some may see my visuals as amplifying unease, but the reality is that people are risking their lives on battlefields. By confronting feelings of fear, urgency, or compassion, I hope we can take even a small step forward.”

Elsa Hosk is known for her coveted style, which includes her collection of gorgeous handbags. On that note, Hosk partnered with resale brand REKLAIM earlier this year as the founding member of the brand’s ambassador initiative, Conscious Collective. With an initial focus on providing pre-owned luxury handbags and watches to retailers like Nordstrom by sourcing via its proprietary AI platform, REKLAIM launched its direct-to-consumer business this year. And Hosk partnered with REKLAIM again to provide even more inspiration to online shoppers. That’s right. Hosk just launched a capsule collection featuring a handpicked selection of her favorite bags and watches.

Here you’ll find Hosk’s 70-piece capsule collection with a preview of just a few of the gorgeous handbag styles included in the offering below. You’ll find everything from a stunning pre-owned Chloé bag to a Louis Vuitton stunner. Keep scrolling for more.

Madewell’s Fall Collection Has New Jeans & Suede Bags

Madewell’s denim game remains unmatched, and the new Cleo Straight Jean style is top tier. From the retro front-pocket detail to the true-blue wash that gives ‘70s nautical energy, these are a style I’ll for sure be wearing on repeat. While the full-length silhouette was too long for my 5’3” frame, the brand offers petite jeans online that are ideal for me, with the petite Curvy jeans being my ultimate pick. They cinch my waist without back gapping and hit at my ankles (praise!), looking just as good with a casual cardigan as they do with a blouse for all the fall activities, from pumpkin picking to brewery hopping.

As brand loyalists know, Madewell’s top selection is always strong. But this season, I found myself especially drawn to the striped short-sleeve polos and easy sweaters designed for layering. I’m also a big fan of the denim vest (I own a similar Madewell style from last fall, which remains a staple in my wardrobe) because it feels just as relevant heading into this season.

And don’t sleep on the brand’s accessories. The red suede shoulder bag is a statement-maker, but could easily work with dozens of fall outfits. Boat shoes and ballet flats are still having a moment, too — if you don’t already own a pair of each, now’s the time to cart up the brand’s classic styles.

Stand Studio Copenhagen Spring 2026 Collection

Stand Studio Copenhagen Spring 2026 Collection

For Stand Studio, Nellie Kamras designed a spring collection with flair and flare by introducing A-line shapes and flounces to the offering. The result, she said on a call, was a “a more flirty vibe than we have had before,” and one that “suits the moment…it’s quite playful, but moderate, playful.”

One would imagine that for a company working mainly with faux fur and leather (real and alternative), creating pieces for “long city days and warm summer nights” would be more challenging than bringing color and warmth to chilly days; but this Stand Studio collection is convincingly vacation-ready. Reacting to the season, Stand has even added some cotton twill separates into the mix, but the standout material is supple suede, like that used on a tobacco-brown shirt and pant set, which has a raw-cut finish to make it as light as possible. The animal-print pieces are made using a summer fur so light it seems, Kamras said, “imaginary.” Also dreamy is a computer bag in the shape of a ruffle-edge pillow.

Cult Gaia Fall 2025 Ready-to-Wear Collection

by jummy84 August 20, 2025

As a certified LA It girl, Cult Gaia’s Jasmin Larian Hekmat knows what young women want in their clothes—they want to feel sexy and cool. They flock to her label because the designer is so good at finding the balance between force and femininity in her collections.

Every season, Hekmat goes to Paris for market. As she walked around the city taking in all the art and especially the sculptures, her fall collection began to come to life. She noticed that “the female sculptures are always stopped in movement,” and decided to “dig into that concept.” Bags like her “boob” clutch look like they’re chiseled out of stone, while the hero print of the season, a rich brown and yellow floral print named “Alice,” looks like it’s blurred in movement.

But the collection’s standouts were its simplest pieces, where Hekmat’s keen eye for detail becomes evident; like the leather jacket with built-in magnets at the collar so that it can be adapted from a classic zip-up to a biker style. “You know I grew up in a world of unboxing,” she said. “I want my customers to always be unpacking the products. I want my girl to always feel like every time she wears my stuff, she experiences that joy.”

Tibi Resort 2026 Collection | Vogue

It’s back to the classics for Tibi’s latest collection. “Resort is one of those seasons where we lean into all of the things that we really really love,” said Amy Smilovic at her lower Manhattan showroom. “We wanted to tap into a really strong sense of color; there’s something really fresh about having a solid group of neutrals with some stronger, brighter colors that aren’t preppy or even overly sporty, but are optimistic.” On the racks, an ocean of multiple shades of brown—or “ring 2” on the brand’s color wheel—with only Kelly green and red at the ready to liven things up. “It’s our go-to. And then everything else is built from there,” Smilovic added. It was in textures instead where the designer and her team indulged: acid-wash denim, leather, double-faced cashmere, quilted satins, alpaca wool, metallic mesh, and a classic black-on-white polka-dot alive with the motion of a paintbrush mark.

There was a general sportswear influence throughout: a sleek long-sleeve dress with a racer-back cutout, fully-functional tear-away pants, V-neck sweaters worn over sporty zippered dickies, and a ski-inspired jumpsuit which Smilovic declared she’d like to wear “by itself with a little tank underneath,” but the highlight was certainly the re-imagined tailoring done up in Italian sporty nylon—like a jacket with a cinched waist and a built-in layered zip-up hoodie in a lighter nylon material. Elsewhere, light-as-air crinkly silver pieces were reminiscent of the space blankets used by runners post-race. “It’s not a palate cleanse, but it’s just establishing the foundation for some of the things that you’ll see coming down the pike for a spring and fall.” On your marks….
