AIIMS gastroenterologist shares hack ‘to turn eggs into an anti-inflammatory powerhouse’: Check his full recipe

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Eggs are one of nature’s protein-packed gifts: they’re delicious, cheap, and versatile. If you love eggs, then there are a few things that could be better than a perfectly cooked egg, making them a healthy option for breakfast and beyond. But do you usually eat eggs plain, or do you try adding anti-inflammatory ingredients? Also read | AIIMS gastroenterologist ranks popular breakfasts for gut health on a scale of 1 to 10: Upma, overnight oats, granola

Incorporate anti-inflammatory ingredients into eggs to make them healthier. Here’s what Dr Saurabh Sethi suggested. (Freepik)

Gut-friendly, anti-inflammatory eggs recipe

In a September 28 Instagram post, Dr Saurabh Sethi, a gastroenterologist trained at AIIMS, Harvard, and Stanford Universities, said, “Most people think eggs are just protein. But as a gastroenterologist, here is how I turned them into a gut-friendly, anti-inflammatory powerhouse in 5 steps.” He added, “Save this recipe, try it out, and don’t forget to share with your family and friends.”

Here’s what he recommends:

Step 1

Dr Sethi said, “First, crack in two whole eggs. For most people, up to two yolks a day is perfectly fine. The cholesterol scare around eggs is outdated science.”

Step 2

“Add a pinch of turmeric for anti-inflammatory power and black pepper to activate it. That combo is my secret gut-friendly hack,” Dr Sethi said.

Step 3

He added: “Don’t forget salt, but keep it light.”

Step 4

“Load your eggs with veggies. Tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and even olives. (0:41) This adds fibre, antioxidants, and healthy fats that your gut microbes love,” Dr Sethi said.

Step 5

He concluded, “Cook them gently. Scrambled, omelette, however you like. Avoid drowning them in oil. Let the ingredients shine.”

What happened to Riley Brennan?? Does anyone know anything?? Neon has quietly revealed a sneaky viral website for the horror thriller film titled Shelby Oaks, made by former YouTube critic turned filmmaker Chris Stuckmann as his feature directorial debut. The film premiered at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival last year, and also played at FrightFest – opening in theaters in early October coming up (watch the trailer). Shelby Oaks follows a woman’s desperate search for her long-lost sister falls into obsession upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real. As Mia uncovers new & disturbing leads related to Riley’s disappearance, she uncovers evidence of a hidden supernatural evil dating all the way back to her and Riley’s childhood. This stars Michael Beach, Keith David, Sarah Durn, Brendan Sexton III, Camille Sullivan. This viral website is eerie and strangely empty and doesn’t contain anything (for now) aside from a one-minute video featuring various clips of security footage. It’s a reminder that perhaps hidden somewhere in this footage might be more clues as to what happened to Riley Brennan and where she went/is now. Maybe there’s even more hidden around this site somewhere? Click around & do some digging.

The password to access the website below is lookingforpara7. Click to visit & watch the mysterious video:

Shelby Oaks Viral Website

Shelby Oaks Viral Website

You can rewatch the first official trailer for Chris Stuckmann’s Shelby Oaks right here to view more footage.

From Fantasia: “Who took Riley Brennan? That’s the question asked by millions of devoted, even obsessed fans of the popular YouTube series Paranormal Paranoids, which ceased production when Brennan and her three co-hosts disappeared near the deserted town of Shelby Oaks, Ohio in 2008. Conspiracy theories have run rampant over the years, but none are more determined to get to the truth than Riley’s sister, Mia (Camille Sullivan), who has finally agreed to telling Riley’s story to a documentary film crew (Emily Bennett and Rob Grant) in the hopes of finding closure. Closure, however, refuses to be found as a series of shocking events opens the door to a deeper mystery surrounding Riley, one that leads Mia to follow her ghost-hunting sister’s footsteps down a path to confront demons of the past for answers that can only be found somewhere within the darkness of Shelby Oaks… Stuckmann is finally here and ready to scare the pants off audiences…”

Shelby Oaks is written and directed by indie filmmaker Chris Stuckmann, making his feature directorial debut after making many short films and running a very popular YouTube movie review channel. From a story by Chris Stuckmann and Sam Liz. Produced by Cameron Burns, Aaron B. Koontz, Ashleigh Snead. This initially premiered at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival last year. Neon will debut Stuckmann’s Shelby Oaks horror film in select US theaters starting on October 3rd, 2025 this fall. Want to watch? Looking scary?

Have Mercy & Check Out These 25 Secrets About Full House

by jummy84 September 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Lest you think Coulier came up with his “Cut. It. Out” catchphrase by himself, or had it written for him in the Full House writer’s room, the comedian has admitted that he lifted it wholesale from a pal.

During his time as a comedy duo with friend Mark Cendrowski prior to the show, it was Cendrowski who, while playing a suave character, would tell women in the audience, “You’re in love with me, now cut. It. Out.”

As Coulier revealed to Buzzfeed back in 2014, “I told him, ‘I’m going to steal that. I’m going to use that someday.’ And he said, ‘Ah, you can’t steal that.’ So I starred on a show on Nickelodeon called Out of Control and it became my hook on the show. And when Full House started, I just brought it over and it stuck.”

‘Not a Check Large Enough’

by jummy84 September 11, 2025
written by jummy84

BEST DRAMA SERIES

I’m not a Severance fan. I find it curiously cool, in the Marshall McLuhan sense — I don’t care about the people, and I’m kind of old-school in my William Goldman-like belief that I should. The Diplomat is a nice show, but it doesn’t deserve to be a nominee. Paradise has an unbelievably great concept, but once that was revealed, it felt soapy. The Last of Us, which I voted for the last time it was nominated, was not the same show this season. To be honest, it was a slog to get to the end. I was interested in Pedro Pascal, not in Bella Ramsey. The White Lotus I absolutely loved — the moment between the two brothers may be the moment of the year, and I’m so glad that Mike White reminded us what it’s like to have everyone watch a show on Sunday and then talk about it on Monday. Pretty much every year I could vote for Slow Horses; there’s nothing about that show that I don’t love. But this year, for me, it was between The Pitt and Andor, which was the toughest call on the entire ballot. From the first episode of The Pitt, I was in. For anybody to say it’s not a reboot of ER is hilarious — I’d like to have a piece of Mrs. Crichton’s lawsuit — but structuring it like 24, over one long night at the hospital, was brilliant, as was the casting, which did not miss on a single person. I’m happy Katherine LaNasa was nominated; I loved the nepo babies — Brad Dourif’s kid [Fiona Dourif] and Bryan Cranston’s kid [Taylor Dearden] — and I was blown away by Noah Wyle. I’ve watched other things he was in and never realized he had this depth. I can’t wait for the second season of The Pitt. But I didn’t vote for it because I’ve probably never enjoyed a show as much as I’ve enjoyed Andor. Tony Gilroy is a genius. I’ve loved everything that he’s done since Michael Clayton, but to do a story about how a rebellion against authoritarianism is born, and what it takes for someone to be willing to risk it all to fight authoritarianism, is pretty fucking current, and it was presented in an incredibly entertaining way, leading perfectly right up to Rogue One. If you get to the end of Andor and then don’t go and immediately watch Rogue One, you’re out of your mind because Rogue One is like season three of Andor. The casting is also unbelievable, and it blows my mind that voters overlooked Diego Luna and Genevieve O’Reilly. The whole industry should take a look at what Gilroy did: He took existing IP and made something wholly unique and watchable with it.

MY VOTE Andor (Disney+)

BEST COMEDY SERIES

The Bear is brilliant, but it’s not a comedy. Only Murders in the Building is the same show every year. Shrinking wasn’t as good as it was last season. Hacks was better this season than last — the late night stuff was really good, and they went back to the two of them [Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder’s characters] feuding, which was what was missing. Nobody Wants This was really cute — there’s some stereotypical stuff that felt a little cliché on both the Jewish and gentile sides, but the casting was perfect, especially Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons in the supporting parts. What We Do in the Shadows is absolutely hilarious and makes me laugh every week. I love Abbott Elementary, and every part of me would love to vote for a network comedy — I’ve voted for it in the past — because I think it’s good for our business if the networks survive. But I voted for The Studio. I know it’s inside baseball, but they nailed our business. Every one of those meetings that they were satirizing, I’ve been in. And the last two episodes, with Bryan Cranston? Classic.

MY VOTE The Studio (Apple TV+)

BEST LIMITED OR ANTHOLOGY SERIES

I love Michelle Williams, but I didn’t care for Dying for Sex. Black Mirror was hit-or-miss based on the episode; the Rashida Jones one was the standout for me this season. I don’t generally like Ryan Murphy shows, but Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story was good. The Penguin was really well done — Cristin Milioti, for me, was the reason to watch. But this was the easiest vote of my entire life: Adolescence may be the best television show I’ve ever seen. It’s certainly in the top three. It is, by every possible metric, perfect television. It so upset me and so stayed with me. And it’s rare for me to do a very deep dive into how something was made because I make TV and I can usually figure it out, but I spent hours watching stuff about how they made it, why they made it, the backstory and Stephen Graham talking about his process. I was a huge Stephen Graham fan before this, but he’d almost always played a villain. Not in this one. He was remarkable. That last episode, where he goes into his kid’s room and apologizes to the pillow, and then to the mother? My God. And the kid [Owen Cooper] was a total find. Anyway, the difference between this show and every other show in the category is the difference between hamburgers at The Apple Pan and hamburgers at White Castle. And any parent that watches this show and isn’t rocked to their core is not paying attention.

MY VOTE Adolescence (Netflix)

BEST TALK SERIES

I only watch The Daily Show on Mondays [when Jon Stewart hosts]. If Jon was on every night, it might be a different conversation. I watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s Jimmy Kimmel and The Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert every night. I love Kimmel and so admire the cojones he has to take on the Trump administration — he goes right after them — and he’s a terrific interviewer, the one that reminds me the most of Carson. I would’ve voted for him, but I’m voting for The Late Show because of what Paramount did to Colbert, just so he can get up and give a speech, and because it would be an absolute “fuck-you” to Trump. You saw that he Truth Social-ed the next day and took credit for Colbert getting fired? Fuck him.

MY VOTE The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS)

BEST SCRIPTED VARIETY SERIES

It’s ridiculous that there are only two nominees. I did not love the 50th season of Saturday Night Live and was disappointed by the reunion show, to be honest — Eddie Murphy was hilarious, but everything else was kind of weak. Last Week Tonight is so smart every week, and John Oliver is not afraid of any subject, including taking on the people that write his paycheck. I guess he has such a following and enough power that he, at least so far, gets away with it. I hope, God willing, that continues. This season’s pièce de résistance was when he convinced the owner of a minor league baseball team to rebrand it. He’s done these shticky things every season, but this was one of the best. A Nathan Fielder moment.

MY VOTE Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (HBO)

BEST TELEVISION MOVIE

I did not see Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy — I do have Peacock, but only so I can watch Dateline — and there is not a check you could write that would be large enough to get me to watch that. I don’t understand how Nonnas got nominated — it has a great cast of senior citizen ladies, but it’s so slight, and there are better movies on Lifetime. The Gorge is a great concept with weak execution. Mountainhead was hugely disappointing: Succession creator/writer Jesse Armstrong obviously had something to say about tech bros, but somehow he forgot to actually have a story or a character that we care about. Rebel Ridge I absolutely loved. It was one of the best movies of the year, period.

MY VOTE Rebel Ridge (Netflix)

Just Sit Right There & Check In On the Fresh Prince Cast Today

In the years since, Peacock’s reimagined series Bel-Air has given fans a dramatic take on the iconic sitcom with Jabari Banks taking on Smith’s role as Will (Jones, Smith and Medina all serve as producers).

And as a gift to fans, producers have definitely been up to some good, enlisting Tatyana Ali (who starred as Ashley Banks), Vernee Watson-Johnson (who appeared as Will’s mom Vy), Daphne Maxwell Reid (the second actress to play Aunt Viv) and Joseph Marcell (beloved butler Geoffrey) to make cameos in the new series.

The cast as a whole has been good about staying in touch, Ali told E! News in 2023, revealing, “We all have a text chain.”

And while we couldn’t get the story all about how they relive their years together, she told E!, “It’s a real blessing that anything that you make or are a part of making could mean that much to people.”

So we’d like to take a minute—just sit right there—and check in with her and the rest of the original Fresh Prince cast to see what they’ve been up to since they said goodbye to the Banks residence.

The Bengal Files Vs The Tashkent Files: Vivek Agnihotri’s Film Wins The Box Office Battle On Day 3, Check The Numbers | Glamsham.com

Vivek Agnihotri’s latest political drama, The Bengal Files, has outperformed his 2019 film The Tashkent Files at the box office but still lags significantly behind the phenomenal success of The Kashmir Files (2022).

Modest Opening Weekend for The Bengal Files

The Bengal Files earned ₹2.75 crore on Sunday, following ₹2.15 crore on Saturday and ₹1.75 crore on Friday. According to Sacnilk, the film’s total opening weekend collection in India stands at ₹6.65 crore. While this is nearly three times the ₹2.20 crore that The Tashkent Files earned during its opening weekend, it is only about one-fourth of the ₹27.15 crore that The Kashmir Files raked in.

Comparing Agnihotri’s Political Trilogy

The Tashkent Files, a pre-pandemic outing on the death of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri under mysterious circumstances, featured Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, and Pankaj Tripathi. At the other end, The Kashmir Files, based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, was a box office hit, with a ₹3.55 crore opening and rising to ₹15 crore by day three.

Comparatively, The Bengal Files also had a subdued beginning despite the impressive cast that boasts of Mithun Chakraborty, Namashi Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Pallavi Joshi. The movie deals with the Direct Action Day of 1946, Noakhali Massacre, and the “Great Bengal Killing” and compares them to contemporary problems in Bengal and Bangladesh.

Heavy Investment and Stiff Competition

Agnihotri has disclosed that he invested the returns of The Kashmir Files into The Bengal Files, in addition to borrowed money. In the meantime, his last release, The Vaccine War, launched on ₹3.50 crore and concluded on ₹10.33 crore.

The movie also encountered stiff competition this weekend from Baaghi 4 featuring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, which debuted at a record ₹31.25 crore.

Bollywood legend Kareena Kapoor Khan remains a heartthrob off-screen and on-screen. The actress recently surprised her Instagram fans with a sparkling “summer selfie dump,” highlighting her carefree charm, sun-kissed beauty, and lovable family moments imbued with tradition.

Sun-Kissed Selfies and Fashionable Snaps

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress’s Instagram post was a colorful blend of hot summer looks and fashion-forward moments. Ranging from sunshine naps in the garden to posing her signature pout in front of bold backdrops, Kareena’s selfies were straight-out-glam. The photo shoot also featured beach snaps, selfie clicks in front of mirrors, and stylish car poses, all showcasing Kareena’s signature sass and sophistication.

Fans and fellow stars couldn’t help but gush over the post. Actress Neha Dhupia left four fire emojis below the post, reflecting sentiments of Bebo’s fan base, who were awed by her effortless beauty and perfect sense of style.

A Heartwarming Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

Aside from the glamour, Kareena also treated the fans to a peek at her life by posting a poignant moment from her family’s Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The highlight of the picture post was an image of her younger son, Jeh Ali Khan, proudly making a Ganpati idol from clay. The homemade idol, carefully placed over a cardboard base with “Jeh” written at the bottom, embodied innocence and piety.

In her emotional caption, Kareena looked back at the festive culture of the Kapoor family:
“I remember, as a kid, the RK family Ganpati was always special, as we used to celebrate all festivals… Now, my kids eagerly await it too… Ganpati Bappa Morya! Shower us all with love and peace forever from all of us.”

Exciting New Project: ‘Daayra’

Professional wise, Kareena is soon going to feature in Meghna Gulzar’s next film Daayra. Completing 25 years in the industry, the actress was excited about working with the critically acclaimed director and sharing screen space with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran for the very first time.

“Daayra will be a film experience that provokes and inspires,” Kareena explained. “To be directed by Meghna and to collaborate on a story so bold and so thought-provoking is special.”

With her social media following, down-to-earth family upbringing, and strong screen decisions, Kareena inspires millions both as an actress and a mom.
