Myke Towers’ ‘Tengo Celos’ Tops Three Latin Charts Simultaneously

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Myke Towers achieves a triple victory with his latest single, “Tengo Celos,” which dominates Billboard’s Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay, and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts (each dated Nov. 15). This marks his second triple-chart win in 2025, following a similar accomplishment on the Aug. 9-dated rankings. It jumps 10-1 on Latin Airplay, 2-1 on Latin Pop Airplay and 4-1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay.

“Seeing my name at No. 1 on all the radio charts in the United States and Puerto Rico is something that still amazes me, because behind every achievement like this there’s much more than numbers: there are sleepless nights, sacrifices, tough decisions, and above all, a real connection with the people,” Towers tells Billboard.

“Tengo Celos” was released July 17, as part of Towers’ album Island Boyz, via OneWorld International/Warner/Warner Latina. While the set reached No. 8 high on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart then, the song skyrockets 10-1 on the overall Latin Airplay chart after a 43% gain in audience impressions, to 8.1 million, earned in the United States on the week ending Nov. 6, according to Luminate.

The latest victory secures Towers his 16th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart. It follows “Soleao,” with Quevedo, which became the first track from Island Boyz to reach the top spot in August. As a solo artist without collaborations, “Tengo Celos” becomes Towers’ fourth chart-topper on the overall Latin radio tally, joining “Lala” (2023) as well as “La Falda” and “La Capi,” both in 2024.

“This No. 1 is for my team, for those who believe, for the radio stations that support me, and for the audience that always stands by me,” Towers adds. “Representing my island and seeing how Latin music continues to grow around the world is a blessing that I never take for granted. We keep working with the same hunger and the same faith as on the first day.”

As “Tengo Celos” secures a triple coronation across the Latin Airplay, Latin Rhythm Airplay, and Latin Pop Airplay charts, it becomes the fourth song to accomplish this feat in 2025. Towers previously hit the same milestone in August with his Quevedo collab, “Soleao.” Earlier this year, Danny Ocean and Kapo’s “Imagínate” topped all three charts (April). Most recently, Maluma joined the list of triple-achievers with “Bronceador” in October.

written by jummy84

Our Billboard chart experts break down whether Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love),” Kid Cudi’s “Maui Wowie” or Tame Impala’s “Dracula” make moves on the Billboard charts.

Jerah Milligan

‘The Life of a Show Girl,’ “Golden” and “Ordinary” still may be dominating our top 10, but who’s in the mix on the hot 100 this week? Could the resurfacing of Kid Cudi’s classic bring this old song to the charts? Is Olivia Dean stealing people’s hearts and staying on repeat, or will Tame Impala’s new music be a  moment? We’re giving you the rundown on some of the contenders on This Week’s Hot 100 this “Maui Wowie” trend is taking over the internet. Will the song make its debut on the charts 17 years after it first was released?

Treavor Anderson

Kid Cudi’s “Maui Wowie,” which debuts this week in the 70s, really blowing up on TikTok. This is a song from 2008 by the way. So it’s our first time actually seeing Kid Cudion the Hot 100 in a lead role since 2020 so welcome back to the chart, Cudi. But this trend is going crazy. This song is blowing up, so that’s something to watch out for as the streams keep going up, that song could really be a big hit for him.

Jerah Milligan

It’s so easy to fall in love with Olivia Dean that we may see her climb,

Delisa Shannon

Based off of my streams alone, that one is going to have an uptick on the charts. Everyone is excited about Olivia Dean’s ‘The Art of Loving.’ She has this ability with the way that she arranges, her melodies, her vocals. Everyone is excited, myself included.

Across her career, Swift has accumulated 70 weeks on top of the national albums survey, according to ARIA, an accomplishment that has origins dating back in 2010 with Speak Now, which spent one week at the top.

The top new release on the latest ARIA Albums Chart, published Friday, Oct. 17, is Pete Murray’s independently-released Longing (CMI), at No. 5. Longing is the Queensland singer and songwriter’s seventh full-length studio album and first in eight years, three of which reached No. 1 (Feeler in 2003, See The Sun in 2005, Summer At Eureka in 2008).

Another artist from the Sunshine State, Gold Coast singer, songwriter and producer Lyric, bags a debut top 10 with her second EP, The Art Of Falling First (G.Y.R.O.). It’s new at No. 9, and is one of eight homegrown titles on the survey.

Beloved Indigenous rapper, singer and dancer Baker Boy bags a top 20 appearance with his sophomore album, DJANDJAY, new at No. 13. The winner of six ARIA Awards and the recipient of the Young Australian of the Year in 2019, Baker Boy (real name: Danzal Baker) dropped his debut album Gela in 2021, for a No. 3 best.

Meanwhile, former Noiseworks and INXS frontman Jon Stevens snags a top 40 debut with his 11th solo album, Shimmer (Island/Universal). It’s new at No. 30. With Stevens on the mic, Noiseworks scored four top 10 albums, topping the tally in 1991 with Love Versus Money.

Sheppard founding member Amy Sheppard drops in at No. 45 with her debut full-length album, Born To Be Country (EOS/MGM). The Brisbane artist enjoyed a No. 16 peak with her 2022 EP Nothing But Wild, and landed four top 10 albums with Sheppard, including a No. 1 with 2018’s Watching The Sky.

Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, the highest new entry belongs to BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and former One Direction singer Zayn, as their collaboration “Eyes Closed” (Warner) opens at No. 47. No Australian titles appear in the top 50.

Halsey’s ‘BADLANDS’ Top 10 on Five Album Charts After Reissue

by jummy84 September 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Halsey’s full-length debut album BADLANDS is back in the top 10 on multiple Billboard album charts following its 10th anniversary reissue. The 2015 set was reissued on Aug. 29 in multiple deluxe formats and reenters the top 10 on Top Album Sales (No. 5), Top Alternative Albums (No. 6), Vinyl Albums (No. 4), Catalog Albums (No. 9) and debuts in the top 10 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums (No. 7).

All versions of the album, old and new, are combined for tracking and charting purposes.

In the tracking week ending Sept. 4, BADLANDS earned 17,000 equivalent album units in the United States, of which nearly 12,000 are in traditional album sales (about 9,000 in vinyl purchases).

BADLANDS is one of three reentries in the top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, joined by Sabrina Carpenter’s emails i can’t send (No. 6) and Charli xcx’s how i’m feeling now (No. 8). Meanwhile, the only debut in the region is Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend at No. 1.

Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales. The chart’s history dates back to May 25, 1991, the first week Billboard began tabulating charts with electronically monitored piece count information from SoundScan, now Luminate. Pure album sales were the sole measurement utilized by the Billboard 200 albums chart through the list dated Dec. 6, 2014, after which that chart switched to a methodology that blends album sales with track equivalent album (TEA) units and streaming equivalent album (SEA) units.

At No. 1 on Top Album Sales, Man’s Best Friend arrives with 224,000 sold in its first week (the third-largest sales week of 2025 and Carpenter’s best sales week ever). Stray Kids’ KARMA falls to No. 2 (with 53,000, down 82%) after debuting atop the list a week ago. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack climbs 5-3 (15,000, down 19%), Deftones’ private music dips 3-4 in its second week (13,000, down 80%) and emails i can’t send reenters at No. 6 (11,000, up 1,766% after a new vinyl variant was released).

Laufey’s A Matter of Time falls 2-7 in its second week (11,000, down 84%), Charli xcx’s how i’m feeling now reenters at No. 8 (9,500, up 2,613% following the release of a fifth anniversary color vinyl variant), KATSEYE’s Beautiful Chaos surges 20-9 (9,000, up 81% following a restock of certain editions of the album at retail) and Carpenter’s chart-topping Short n’ Sweet jumps 30-10 (9,000, up 115% in the wake of Man’s Best Friend’s arrival).

Going by IMDb’s real-time popularity charts of August 20, actioner Baaghi 4 helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala has turned out to be the most-awaited Indian film of 2025. Tiger Shroff’s film tops the charts with a whopping 24.5% audience interest, securing the number one position among the slew of upcoming Indian releases. With the franchise’s success and the recent release of a teaser, the film has created buzz buzz before its September 5 release. Its top position on the charts indicates the lasting popularity of mass-action films in India.

Strong Lineup of Big Releases

Following in second position is Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG, capturing 13.8% of audience interest. The movie, directed by Sujeeth, features Kalyan in a dashing gangster avatar and will be released on September 25. Coming in at third position is romantic comedy Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, garnering 12.4% interest. It releases in cinemas on August 29.

Comedy-drama Jolly LLB 3, featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, is at number four with 9.9% before its release on September 19, showing that courtroom comedy is still a crowd-pleaser.

A Mix of Genres Outside the Top Four

Positions five to ten consist of a diverse range of genres and languages. Anime-inspired Mirai (9.5%) ranks fifth, followed by fantasy movie Lokah Chapter One: Chandra (8.7%) and political drama The Bengal Files (6.9%).

Period drama Raghu Dakat (5.3%) and sequel Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 (5.2%) follow the franchise storytelling trend. Last on the list is Kaantha (3.9%).
