Diddy Ordered To Hand Over Infamous Freak-Off Tapes, Cash & Devices To Federal Agents Following Prost*tution Sentencing

Diddy’s wild past has officially come back to haunt him.

According to AllHipHop, the hip-hop mogul has been ordered to surrender a trove of “freak-off” tapes, cash, and digital devices to federal agents as part of his sentence in a prost*tution case that damaged his decades-long career in music and entertainment.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, the confiscated materials include hard drives, iPads, iPhones, and computers—along with $9,000 in cash seized from Diddy’s Manhattan hotel suite.

Among the most notable items are the infamous “Ibiza Tapes,” filmed on a Sony DVCAM in 1996 and allegedly capturing dr*g-fueled s*x parties Diddy hosted with male escorts.

Prosecutors said the recordings were “property used or intended to be used” in connection with the prost*tution charges that led to his conviction.

Diddy was sentenced to roughly four years in prison and is appealing the verdict to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

What are your thoughts in the feds seizing these tapes?

The couple got married during an extravagant ceremony on the sets of Pati Patni Aur Panga. While the wedding itself has already occurred, the special episode featuring the event is yet to air. In a hilarious twist, Hina Khan and Isha Malviya decide to play a prank by taking Milind’s shoes and running off with them. The groom’s confusion is evident as he asks, “Hey, where are the shoes?” to which Avika laughs in shock. The playful banter doesn’t stop there. Hina Khan, with a mischievous grin, demands a hefty price for the shoes, telling Milind, “Brother-in-law, you will only get the shoes if you give us 1,11,000 rupees.” Milind, in a lighthearted tone, responds, “No, just 1,100,” but the two actresses hold firm, insisting that not a single rupee less would do.

The scene gets even funnier when Milind’s father joins in, suggesting that whoever has a 1 rupee note will be awarded the full 1,11,000 rupees. In an amusing turn of events, Hina snatches the note from his hand. Milind, now caught in the playful negotiation, makes a humorous declaration on national television: “I want to say on national television that I will give Hina and Isha 1,11,000 rupees.” The hilarious exchange culminates with a witty piece of advice from guest Krushna Abhishek, who humorously warns Milind, “Brother, don’t give so much money for just one shoe.

Deep Cut Friday: ‘Cash Car Star’ by the Smashing Pumpkins

by jummy84 October 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Each week, SPIN digs into the catalogs of great artists and highlights songs you might not know for our Deep Cut Friday series.

The last few years of the Smashing Pumpkins’ ’90s run were a little chaotic. Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin was fired and then rehired, and bassist D’arcy Wretzky permanently left the band. Frontman Billy Corgan envisioned another epic double album as a grand farewell record. But Virgin Records, stung by low sales for 1998’s Adore, only agreed to release a single-disc version of Machina/The Machines of God in February 2000.

As the year wound down, Corgan decided to go out with a bang, assembling the extra music Virgin declined to release as Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. Corgan had 25 vinyl copies pressed up and given away to friends and fans with instructions to share the music on the internet, and the album existed for decades only as a beloved bootleg. Machina II opens with a couple of uptempo rockers including “Cash Car Star,” featuring lyrics that seemed pointedly disillusioned with show business.

The band reunited in 2006 and have released many new albums since then, but for many years a proper release of Machina II remained elusive. And then this month Smashing Pumpkins released Machina – Aranea Alba Edition, a massive 80-song box set featuring an expanded version of both albums. The Machina II songs “Speed Kills,” “Let Me Give the World To You,” and “Real Love” have appeared on reissues and compilations over the years. But the new box set offers the first retail release of most of the songs on the album, albeit in a very expensive limited edition package ($395), including “Cash Car Star,” which the band performed on television multiple times.

“Cash Car Star” made its live debut in October 1998, when Smashing Pumpkins opened for Kiss at Dodger Stadium for a Halloween special broadcast on the Fox network.

Two years later, in between the black market release of Machina II and the band’s farewell shows in Chicago, the band made one last television appearance, playing “Cash Car Star” on The Tonight Show. Host Jay Leno walked over to banter with Corgan afterwards, asking why the band was breaking up. “Comedy doesn’t pay, Jay,” Corgan deadpanned. “You’ll be back, you guys will be back,” said Leno, who’d later have his own struggles with gracefully leaving the spotlight.

Three more essential Smashing Pumpkins deep album cuts:

“Hummer”

Siamese Dream is more purely a guitar album than the Smashing Pumpkins records that would follow it. But the “Hummer” intro is one of the album’s more unusual moments, a distorted loop of Corgan playing sitar that producer Butch Vig chopped up on the same Akai S 1000 sampler that he’d go on to use for many of Garbage’s early songs.

“Starla”

1994’s Pisces Iscariot is one of the most impressive rarities compilations in the alternative rock canon, full of great songs that somehow didn’t make the cut for the band’s early albums. The 11-minute “Starla,” originally released on the B-side of the “I Am One” single, climaxes with arguably Corgan’s most transcendent guitar solo.

“Here is No Why”

The tuneful Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness highlight “Here is No Why” is sandwiched between the band’s heaviest hits, “Zero” and “Bullet With Butterfly Wings.”

Cash Cobain Says Jay-Z Told Him He’s ‘Not Dropping an Album’

When Jay-Z calls, you pick up the phone. Cash Cobain revealed on Wednesday (Sept. 10) that he received a call from Hov to straighten out the narrative regarding rumors of a new project from the rap mogul being on the horizon, which Cash pushed during his appearance on Billboard Unfiltered Live Sept. 3.

“When I was on the phone with Hov he said that he is absolutely not dropping an album,” Cash wrote to X, along with six laughing-crying emojis. “that messed me up tho.”

Jay is very aware of what’s being said about him in the culture, and the “This is Hov” text message meme came to life for the Bronx rapper.

It all came about after Cash joined Billboard Unfiltered Live alongside Zeddy Will, during which he named Jay-Z as the king of New York, but teased that he heard that the Roc Nation boss was gearing up to release a new project.

“I heard Jay-Z about to drop some s—t. That’s what I heard,” he said at the time. “That’s about to shake the world.”

It’s been eight years since Jay’s last solo album, 4:44, dropped. Primarily produced by No I.D., the set debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 262,000 album units earned in the first week.

There has been fan speculation about a new Jay-Z project being made somewhere in the world, as 2026 would be 30 years since his Reasonable Doubt debut, and the 55-year-old popped out at a handful of dates on wife Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour.

Drake Shares New Songs Featuring Yeat and Cash Cobain

by jummy84 September 5, 2025
written by jummy84

As promised, the third installment of Drake‘s Iceman series, which has been streamed live on YouTube, premiered tonight, offering more hints about his upcoming album, Iceman. The stream follows the first two in the series, where Drake unveiled singles “What Did I Miss?” and “Which One.” Tonight, he shared “Somebody Eats Me,” featuring Cash Cobain, who famously contributed to For All The Dogs on “Calling For You.” This new song finds Drake in his Slizzy bag, and Cobain, who recently contributed to Justin Bieber’s album Swag, in prime form, sampling “Somebody Who Loves Me,” from Drake and PartyNextDoor’s collaborative project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. Drake also premiered a new song with Yeat featuring the singer Julia Wolf.

During the stream, which opened with audio of the Italian easy listening song “Parole Parole” by Mina (almost certainly a cryptic easter egg as the song’s chorus is all about “empty words”), Drizzy saunters through an ominous-looking Italian locale before picking up the phone to call Yeat, who appears in a split frame. Yeat then joins him in another room, handing over what appears to be a file or document. Drake then heads outside into a car where he begins playing a snippet of a new song. The track finds Drake in a familiar register, still clearly fuming over the past year’s beef. “All those summers of slappers you owe me,” he raps before a sped-up beat switch finds him musing on how “they been talkin since 2008.” From the car, Drake then plays a second track that appears to be a freestyle featuring a moody, lo-fi jerk-inspired beat, where we hear him lament how he “aint even know how bad they wanna see me go.”

The stream transitions to an instrumental, where “Parole Parole” is sampled in quintessential Drake fashion, featuring stuttering drums and glittery hi-hats before it’s silent, and we’re in an Italian restaurant, watching a man and woman eat dinner. Four Pinocchio characters enter the room — continuing a motif from Episode 1, where Drake was being chased by Pinocchio — and take their seats at an adjacent table as the instrumental plays louder. A server comes in and places a cube of ice on each of their plates. A tray of red paint is left at the edge of the table, and one of the Pinnochios writes the word “Legacy” on the white tablecloth, before they each toss their ice cubes onto the table and leave their seats, and the server comes in and dumps a whole bucket of ice on the scrawled letters.

Editor’s picks

In the next scene, a young woman appears in a room and gives Drake a hug, before he launches into snippets of new upbeat, club-ready songs, before returning to the car and playing his new song featuring Cash Cobain. Drake was infamously slated to perform at Cash Cobain’s Slizzy Fest in New York last year, before overwhelming crowds caused the show to get shut down. Speaking to Rolling Stone about his collaboration with Bieber, Cobain said he had “some shit that was going to pop out” for the festival and that he “never got over that.” So, it’s good to see him back in tune with The Boy for this new single.

After the Cash Cobain snippet, we see Drake in what appears to be an Italian courtroom, surrounded by spectators, before a Pinocchio figure appears. Drake quickly scrambles out of the room and heads to the club, where new songs featuring Yeat and pop singer Julia Wolf are playing. At the end of the stream, Drake confronts three Pinocchio figures before the screen cuts to the title page with an inscripted tribute to the late designer Giorgio Armani, who passed away earlier today.

The stream caps off a week where Drake returned to podcast host Bobbi Althoff’s new show Not This Again, where he offered little in terms of details about new music but, as some fans pointed out online, might have alluded to episode 3 of Iceman.

Trending Stories

Iceman is set to be Drake’s first solo release since his widely publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar (as well as a sizeable portion of the mainstream rap world) that culminated with Lamar’s now infamous diss track “Not Like Us,” which, among other things, alleges that Drake “Likes them young” and is a “certified pedophile.” The track is at the center of Drake’s current lawsuit against UMG, in which he claims the label heavily promoted the track despite knowing it contained defamatory material. The lawsuit is currently in the discovery phase, with the possibility of a trial in summer 2026 in the event that both sides can’t reach a settlement.
