Despite the internet chatter, love is still in the air for #ArianaGrande and #EthanSlater.

Insiders told TMZ that the #Wicked co-stars are still “absolutely together romantically.” Breakup speculation ramped up after the U.K. premiere of Wicked: For Good on Monday night (Nov. 10), where the pair posed on opposite sides during press photos. While media reports and fans pushed the idea of a split, the duo reportedly maintained affection behind the scenes; witnesses say they were seen “holding hands and being affectionate backstage.”

Their relationship has remained under scrutiny, with many questioning the timing of their romance and the status of their previous relationships. Ariana had recently finalized her divorce when things turned romantic, while Ethan was still married to #LillyJay. Public criticism intensified after Lilly addressed the alleged affair, saying, “[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage.”

“Maybe Merv could stay in my room tonight?” “Ohh, no, sadly he’s just fallen asleep.” 🐶 Prime Video has revealed the first official trailer for a fun romantic comedy movie called Merv, arriving to watch streaming in December. This is skipping theaters entirely and will be on Prime Video starting on December 10th – one month from now. Though it looks cute enough to get people to theaters! “There’s nothing more complicated than a breakup. Except when you’re sharing a dog.” A recently separated couple take their shared dog on a holiday trip to cheer him up, but end up reconnecting romantically. The dog’s name is Merv, hence the name of the film being Merv. This almost seems like a spiritual sequel to 500 Days of Summer, also borrowing the Forgetting Sarah Marshall concept of running into each other, but with a super adorable dog being at the center of it all. Starring Zooey Deschanel as Anna and Charlie Cox as Russ, with Chris Redd, Patricia Heaton, & Ellyn Jameson. This looks fun enough for a nice holiday watch under a warm blanket. Enjoy.

🐶 “A different breed of romantic comedy.” When their beloved dog Merv loses his spark after their split, Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) are forced into the world’s most awkward co-parenting arrangement. Hoping to shake Merv out of his funk, Russ takes him to Florida for a much-needed getaway—only for Anna to show up unexpectedly. As Merv slowly gets his groove back, turns out fixing their dog’s broken heart may lead to a few sparks of their own. Merv is directed by British writer / filmmaker Jessica Swale, director of the film Summerland previously and eps of the series “Ten Percent” most recently, plus other short films. The screenplay is written by Dane Clark & Linsey Stewart. Produced by Matthew Baer, Roma Downey. This hasn’t premiered at any fests or elsewhere, as far as we know. Amazon debuts Swale’s Merv comedy streaming on Prime Video starting December 10th, 2025 coming up. Who wants to watch?

Unfortunately, a little more than four years later, it looks like the couple is calling it quits. So, here is our timeline of the (rather drawn-out) Lily Allen and David Harbour separation, starting with most recent events.

October 28, 2025: The New York City townhouse referenced in West End Girl, and which became famous after Allen and Harbour’s 2023 Architectural Digest tour, is listed for sale, per NME.

October 25, 2025: The real identity of “Madeline” is revealed. In the song, “Madeline,” Allen accuses Harbour of having an affair with a woman called Madeline, which broke their agreement for the terms of the open marriage. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Natalie Tippett, a costume designer on Stranger Things, confirmed that she is the real Madeline.

October 24, 2025: Allen surprise drops her first album in seven years, West End Girl, and it is full of intimate details from her marriage and breakup. In the lyrics, Allen describes the couple’s open relationship and her feelings about it, as well as her sense of betrayal when Harbour (allegedly) broke the rules they had set for their relationship together. In one of the album’s most revealing tracks, “Pussy Palace,” she describes finding a plastic bag of sex toys, lube, and condoms under Harbour’s bed. “Duane Reade bag with the handles tied/Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside/Hundreds of Trojans, you’re so fucking broken,” she sings.

Allen told Interview, “I wrote this record in 10 days in December and I feel very differently about the whole situation now. We all go through breakups and it’s always fucking brutal.”

February 4, 2025: People reports that multiple sources have confirmed that Allen and Harbour split. “Her marriage has been crumbling and they have split,” the source claimed. However, neither Allen nor Harbour has given a statement directly. Another source tells People Allen is “devastated and not in a good place.”

January 9, 2025: Allen alludes to going through difficult times on an episode of her podcast, Miss Me? “I’m finding it hard to be interested in anything. I’m really not in a good place,” she says. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiraling and spiraling. It’s got out of control. I’ve tried.” Amid the divorce rumors already swirling, this was seen as further evidence that there was a split on the horizon.

January 2023: First Date Nerves

In August 2023, Kelsea posted footage of the beginning of their relationship, sharing a throwback clip on TikTok of herself preparing for their first official date on Jan. 7, 2023. 

“Happy weekend,” she captioned the post, “heres a video i sent to my best friend before my first date with chase.”

Set to her song “How Do I Do This,” which is about going on a first date after many years, Kelsea modeled her outfit in the video.

“Here’s the look, with the boots” Kelsea said while checking herself out in a full-length mirror.

Turning around to showcase her half-up, half-down hairstyle, she added, “We’ve got the hair clip, because we’re trying to be a cool girl.”

She continued speaking to an unnamed friend, explaining, “He’s picking me up and we’re going to a sushi place and I’ll call you tomorrow and for a full update.”

Taking a deep breath and raising one arm and finger in the air, she finally said, “I can do this. I can do this.”

And, after doing a little dance, she proclaimed, “It’s just a date. You just go and you just eat food and you talk about things that you do, OK?”

That same day, she previewed a new track on her Instagram page while rapping and dancing in front of her luxury cars and house, amping up fans who are ready for some new heat.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were apparently prepared for their divorce last year. After breaking the news of their split to the world on Good Morning America, the Golden Bachelor couple revealed they had signed a prenuptial agreement when they got married. The pair have had conflicting statements about their split, and with Gerry’s upcoming book, The Golden Years, about to come out, Bachelor Nation fans are wondering what led to their divorce.

Why Did Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Break Up?

On April 12, 2024, the pair explained that distance was the reason behind their separation. Since Gerry lives in Indiana and Theresa is from New Jersey, they couldn’t figure out how to move in together.

“We looked at home after home, but we never got to the point where we made that decision,” Theresa explained on GMA. Gerry also noted that the “thing that strikes me the most in our conversations, it’s been how dedicated both of us are to our families. So, we look at these conversation and we both think it’s best for the happiness of each of us to live apart.”

Gerry started out the announcement by pointing out that he and Theresa had many “heart-to-heart conversations” about their situation.

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and we’ve come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Gerry said, before Theresa added,  “We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched The Golden Bachelor, and I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope. We want none of that to change for anybody.”

Ahead of their split Theresa admitted that her job and staying in New Jersey, while Gerry was in Indiana, was a “hurdle” on an episode of the “Dear Shandy” podcast in March. “I still work, so that’s the hurdle,” she said, via Daily Mail. “So kind of stuck with me, even though my intent, I’m not going to work until I’m 80, but I am still working. So, right now, it’s a long distance relationship essentially.”

Gerry also admitted that he was looking forward to a life of “fun and adventure” post-retirement in the podcast. “I wanted fun, adventure. I wanted to go do,” he said. “So that is the crux of it, right now, is when does that start? I think the living arrangement is really secondary to the freedom of being able to go and enjoy life and do.”

Did Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist Have a Prenup?

After the breakup announcement aired, GMA‘s Juju Chang pointed out that Gerry and Theresa had signed a prenup, which is something they “highly recommend” to people.

The terms and conditions in their prenup have not been disclosed to the public. However, Gerry and Theresa are making sure to protect their assets, as he is a restauranteur and she is financier.

When Did Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Get Divorced?

According to Us Weekly, Gerry formally filed for divorce from Theresa the same day they announced their separation. The outlet reported that he cited the reason of their marriage as “irretrievably breakdown.”

Days continue to go by for Keith Urban.

And some of those days find him preparing for a return to the stage. The country star made his first public appearance since Nicole Kidman filed for divorce Sept. 30, stepping out in Hersey, Pa.

In pictures of the Oct. 2 outing, Keith deboarded a private jet, hours before his concert at Giant Center for his High and Alive World Tour. He kept his travel outfit low key, sporting a gray jacket, black T-shirt and black baseball cap. He was also notably not wearing his wedding ring as he carried a leather duffle bag.

As for Nicole, who shares Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with Keith, she spent the day after her divorce filing taking in some sister time in Nashville, going on a hike with sister Antonia Kidman.

While Keith returns to the stage after a four-day break from his tour, he previously raised eyebrows at a recent concert by making a noteworthy lyric change. Last month, he updated the lyrics to his song “The Fighter,” which was inspired by his romance with the Big Little Lies actress, when performing on stage.

While their relationship seemed like practical magic, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are going their separate ways.

The news is surprising for many fans, who looked to the now estranged couple’s almost 20-year marriage as a pillar of romance. Plus, Nicole and Keith looked still the happy couple during their last public outing together just three months ago.

Indeed, the Big Little Lies star and country star were all smiles as they took in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group D match between Los Angeles Football Club and Esperance de Tunis in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 20.

Then, just five days later, Nicole took to Instagram to celebrate her 19th wedding anniversary with Keith in the form of a sweet photo of the pair, Nicole’s arms wrapped around Keith’s shoulders as he held her close. She captioned the June 25 homage, alongside a red heart, “Happy Anniversary Baby.”

But despite the pair’s appearances, E! News confirmed on Sept. 29 that the couple—parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—had broken up, and that the pair had been living apart “since the beginning of the summer.”
