“Taking a break because we’re TIRED, PERIOD”

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has shed light on the band’s decision to take a hiatus, dismissing any rumours it is to do with controversy surrounding them.

Last week, the metal frontman took to social media to announce that the band would be going on a break after concluding their 25th anniversary ‘The Sickness’ tour.

Draiman wrote: “Not sure when we will be headed back out. We all need a nice long break. Hope to see you when we do.”

The update came amid controversy surrounding him and his pro-Israel stance – which led to the band reportedly having a show in Belgium cancelled, clashing with protesters in Glasgow, butting heads with Kneecap, and disagreeing with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello.

Given the headlines surrounding the band, some assumed that the hiatus may be related to the singer’s political stance – however, Draiman has now dismissed the rumours and said that it is simply because the members are “tired”.

Taking to X/Twitter, he wrote: “For the Record: 1. Taking a break because we’re TIRED, PERIOD. 2. Any spin by the media is just that…spin. We’re all doing great, and are on great terms. 3. The European tour was the biggest of our career. We played to packed arenas every night. Let’s do it again sometime.”

— David Draiman 🟦🎗️🇺🇸🇮🇱✡️☮️ (@davidmdraiman) November 5, 2025

Draiman has been vocal in his support for Israel for years now. Back in 2019, he hit out at Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and slammed the musician and his “Nazi comrades” for calling others to boycott Israel. In 2022 doubled-down on his stance and said that he “doesn’t give a shit” if he alienated people with his pro-Israel views.

In 2023, he sang the Israeli national anthem at one of Disturbed’s Tel Aviv concerts, and the following year he called Waters a “monster” and “anti-Semitic to his rotten core“.

Also in 2024, the singer divided fans when he was pictured signing artillery shells belonging to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) with messages including “Fuck Hamas”.

Those actions saw Draiman receive criticism from Irish hip-hop trio, Kneecap, who made an X post calling him a “straight up c**t”.

“We don’t care what religion anyone is… or if they’ve one at all. We love all sound c**ts. Smiling and signing bombs to murder kids and other people’s families just makes you a straight up c**t. Simple as. Free Palestine,” they wrote.

We don’t care what religion anyone is…or if they’ve one at all.

We love all sound cunts.

Smiling and signing bombs dropped to murder kids and other people’s families just makes you a straight up cunt.

Simple as.

Free Palestine 🇵🇸 https://t.co/QF72cP3PC5 pic.twitter.com/6Hvus2WB7m

— KNEECAP (@KNEECAPCEOL) July 13, 2025

Draiman swiftly responded to Kneecap, telling them to enjoy their “five minutes” in the spotlight and accused them of spreading “hatred”.

The ‘Down With The Sickness’ singer also hit out at Tom Morello for his support of Kneecap, calling his actions “shameful”. The Rage Against The Machine guitarist had described Kneecap as “clearly the Rage Against The Machine of now”, and praised them for “speaking truth to power” in their outspoken support for the people of Palestine and criticism of the Israeli government.

Controversy around Draiman was evident in some of Disturbed’s live shows too. His support for Israel reportedly caused the band’s concert in Belgium in mid-October to be cancelled due to safety risks, and at the end of the month the singer clashed with some people in Glasgow after a protest was held outside their gig there.

A group of people appeared outside the OVO Hydro to protest against Draiman, and even held a free punk show outside the doors (as per Glasgow Times). Before then, pro-Palestine groups called for the Disturbed show to be axed due to the frontman’s actions and comments.

In response to one person who tagged him in a post on Twitter, saying: “Here’s what the real Glasgow thinks of your psychotic genocidal Zionism”, Draiman responded and hit back.

“The ‘real Glasgow’ showed up to the tune of 12,000 strong at OVO,” he wrote. “Hope your Jew hatred kept you guys warm lol. Still praying for peace each and every day. What are you praying for?”

Earlier in the summer, Draiman faced backlash elsewhere in the UK. As he took to the stage to perform at Ozzy Osbourne’s and Black Sabbath’s final live outing, there were a noticeable number of boos heard from the audience.

“Yes, there were a few boos when I walked out, but I came to pay homage to my teachers, my idols, the mighty Black Sabbath, and I wasn’t about to let a few Jew hating morons deter that,” the singer said after the gig.

“I am STILL UNAPOLOGETICALLY A FIERCELY PRO ISRAEL JEW. I will ALWAYS stand up for my people, and I won’t be deterred, intimidated, or shamed out of rocking the asses of the masses. Put that in your pipes and smoke it,” he added.

Taking a Break Because We’re TIRED, PERIOD.

by jummy84 November 5, 2025

David Draiman is shooting down any notions that his recently announced “nice long break” for Disturbed has anything to do with any controversy surrounding the band. Instead, he insists that the band members are simply “tired.”

Last week, Draiman revealed that Disturbed would be taking an extended break following an extensive tour in support of the 25th anniversary of their multiplatinum debut album, The Sickness.

After the tour’s final show in Glasgow, Scotland, he tweeted, “Headed home!!! Thanks so much to EVERYONE that made #TheSickness25 a tour to truly remember! Crew, Management, Agent, Promoters, and ESPECIALLY my brothers in @Disturbed. Not sure when we will be headed back out. We all need a nice long break. Hope to see you when we do.”

Draiman and the band made headlines throughout the year due to the singer’s pro-Israel stance, leading one local mayor to cancel the band’s show in Brussels over safety concerns. However, the frontman says the media is reading too much into the rock act’s “nice long break,” and that there’s no tension within the band.

On Wednesday, he tweeted, “For the Record: 1. Taking a break because we’re TIRED, PERIOD. 2. Any spin by the media is just that…spin. We’re all doing great, and are on great terms. 3. The European tour was the biggest of our career. We played to packed arenas every night. Let’s do it again sometime.”

As it was, 2025 turned out to be a whirlwind year for Draiman and Disturbed. In March, the band’s pyro display at the United Center damaged the Chicago Bulls’ championship banners, and in May, Draiman proposed to his girlfriend Sarah Uli onstage in Sacramento. Moreover, the singer engaged in a war of words with pro-Palestinian UK hip-hop act Kneecap.

See David Draiman’s clarification in the tweet below.

For the record;

1. Taking a break because we’re TIRED, PERIOD.
2. Any spin by the media is just that…spin. We’re all doing great, and are on great terms.
3. The European tour was the biggest of our career 🙏🏻🤘🏻. We played to packed arenas every night. Let’s do it again…

Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim Break Down Matt and Serena’s Season 2 Relationship Status (Exclusive)

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • St. Denis Medical stars Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim, and Wendi McLendon-Covey break down the Season 2 premiere.
  • Leeper and Kim discuss the latest development in the relationship between their characters, Matt and Serena.
  • McLendon-Covey discusses Joyce’s progress with the hospital’s birthing unit.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the St. Denis Medical Season 2 Episodes 1 & 2, “Aloha, Everyone” &”Mama Bear Activated.”]

St. Denis Medical is back, and there’s been a major development on the Matt (Mekki Leeper) and Serena (Kahyun Kim) relationship front, as Season 2 kicked off with the episode “Aloha, Everyone.”

In the installment, viewers discover that while Serena requested to be stationed in a different zone from Matt, after learning he’d had a crush on her, she was shocked to discover he’d asked the same thing. In their time spent apart within the hospital, it also seems as though Matt’s gotten over his crush, which gives Serena a lot to think about.

“They just met in Season 1, so there’s plenty of time for them to learn about each other without Matt being in crush mode,” Leeper tells TV Insider about the revelation. “Also, he has kind of bigger fish to fry, like learning how to do his job.” When Serena learns about Matt’s request from Alex (Allison Tolman), she attempts to get him to admit he put in the request and is notably offended.

Justin Lubin / NBC

But is the offense more about his seemingly disappeared crush or him lying about getting some space? “Well, I don’t think she deals well with it. Nobody likes somebody not liking them back,” Kim tells TV Insider.

“There’s a lot of ups and downs, a lot of give and take,” she teases of their Season 2 dynamic. “And it’s very exciting. When I read the scripts with Matt and Serena, it makes me, like a fan, kind of [get] butterflies. So, I’m sure the audience will feel the same way,” Kim adds.

Ultimately, the duo agreed that they were friends and promised they wouldn’t force themselves to work in different zones going forward, but the door appears to be open regarding romantic potential. Meanwhile, Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) was busy putting some unique touches on her birth center at the hospital, built with the funding she received last season.

“Not to say that this is all gonna go smoothly or that she got all the permits that she needed or that all the construction was done right, but she did put a lot of effort into those themed rooms,” McLendon-Covey notes.  While her vision may not be the final outcome for the hospital, she has the support of her staff, who rally in the face of emergencies, both medical and non-medical.

What will happen next? Stay tuned as St. Denis Medical Season 2 carries on, and let us know whether you’re rooting for Matt and Serena or not in the comments section below.

David Draiman Says Disturbed Will Take “Long Break”

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

With Disturbed having wrapped up the UK/European leg of “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour” last week, singer David Draiman informed fans that the band is set to take a “long break.” He also celebrated the end of the tour by getting “high school high.”

The outing’s final show took place October 28th in Glasgow, Scotland, and Draiman took to X/Twitter the next morning to post a selfie of himself and address fans: “Headed home!!!

The day after that, Draiman posted another selfie of himself, this time looking a bit under the influence, and writing, “Feeling high school high after not burning (except Amsterdam…that doesn’t count) for the last three months in preparation for #TheSickness25. Reflecting on the beautiful madness of it all. Looking forward to being with family and friends. Taking a nice long break.”

Disturbed’s tour celebrating The Sickness made some big headlines over the past year. Back in March, the band’s pyro display at the United Center damaged the championship banners of the Chicago Bulls. In a happier moment in May, Draiman proposed to his girlfriend Sarah Uli onstage in Sacramento, and the two became engaged.

However, the singer’s staunch support of Israel led to a verbal dispute with UK hip-hop act Kneecap over the summer, and a 2024 social media post of him signing an IDF missile with the words “Fuck Hamas” led to a local mayor canceling Disturbed’s show in Belgium earlier this month over safety risks.

Draiman addressed the cancellation during a show on October 14th in Amsterdam, telling the audience, “It doesn’t matter whether you are Israeli or Palestinian. Everyone is welcome in our house every fucking time we take the stage.”

Now, it seems like Draiman and Disturbed will be off the road for quite some time. See the singer’s aforementioned tweets below.

“Only normal people with normal feelings & normal problems. Ahh I love this film!! Janus Films debuted the first US trailer for an Icelandic dark comedy film titled The Love That Remains, a sly break up movie from Hlynur Pálmason. This premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year & was one of the best films of the fest – it also recently played at NYFF. Anna, an artist, and Magnús, a fisherman, live with their three children & charismatic sheepdog in the quiet grandeur of the Icelandic countryside. As fractures in their marriage come to the surface, the couple try to hold onto the afterimages of a life together and make sense of a deep & lingering devotion. Filmmaker Hlynur Pálmason (also of the immaculate Godland) brings surprising humor and emotional weight to this gorgeous, intimate, and brilliantly expansive scenes from a marriage, amidst the majestic backdrop of the changing seasons. Starring Saga Garðarsdóttir, Sverrir Guðnason, Ída, Mekkín Hlynsdóttir, Grímur Hlynsson, Þorgils Hlynsson, Ingvar Sigurðsson, Anders Mossling. And Panda the doggie. I’m lucky to be quoted in this trailer and on the poster! It’s also Iceland’s official selection for Best International Feature Film for this year’s Oscars. What a brilliant trailer.

Here’s the first US trailer (+ poster) for Hlynur Pálmason’s film The Love That Remains, from YouTube:

Jessica Alba’s Beachside Break Amid Dating Rumors

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Jessica Alba is back in the spotlight, and this time it’s not for a movie premiere or a red-carpet appearance. The Honey and Fantastic Four star made waves this week after posting a series of sun-soaked photos from Australia’s beaches. Dressed in a minimalist bikini, a Dodgers cap, and oversized black sunglasses, she radiated the kind of calm confidence that only comes when someone is fully in control of their next chapter.

The images immediately sparked speculation. Alba, who finalized her divorce from Cash Warren earlier this year, has been keeping a low profile, but her latest posts have everyone talking. Was this a solo recharge trip, or something more? Adding fuel to the fire, she’s been spotted several times with actor Danny Ramirez, with whom she recently attended the Mill Valley Film Festival. Their undeniable chemistry had social media buzzing, even though neither has confirmed anything.

Beyond the dating rumors, Alba’s trip has a deeper purpose. She’s currently producing and starring in an upcoming action thriller through her production company, Lady Metalmark Entertainment. Insiders describe the project as a story about reinvention and resilience, two themes that align perfectly with her personal evolution. Her posts, filled with self-love messages and poetic captions, feel like a quiet declaration of independence—a soft rebrand for one of Hollywood’s favorite faces.

Fans have been quick to praise her for showing a more relaxed, authentic side. Gone is the polished image of a business mogul balancing it all; in its place stands a woman reconnecting with herself, embracing change, and setting new boundaries. Whether the romance rumors are true or not, Alba’s glow is undeniable, and her presence feels stronger than ever.

One thing’s certain: Jessica Alba’s story isn’t about a breakup or a new fling—it’s about rebirth. With her new project on the horizon and her energy at an all-time high, she’s reminding everyone why she remains one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons.

Jason Clarke in Murdagh Death in the Family

Jason Clarke’s Body Could Use a Break

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Jason Clarke is having a moment. Within a two-week span, he’ll star in Apple TV thriller series The Last Frontier (premiered Oct. 10), Hulu drama Murdaugh: Death in the Family (Oct. 15) and reunite with his Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow for her big Netflix film, A House of Dynamite, which hit select theaters on Oct. 10 and will debut on Netflix on Oct. 24.

What does this packed streaming schedule mean for Clarke? Mainly, he has to do a shitload of press — sorry Bo, add The Hollywood Reporter to that list.

It is the Murdaugh drama, the one in which the “Bo” term of endearment is used liberally, for which Clarke is doing most of these interviews. The Erin Lee Carr/Michael D. Fuller-created scripted series is a prestige-TV awards play, and Clarke — and his body — have earned your consideration. Clarke put on 40 pounds the hard way to play disbarred South Carolina attorney and convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh.

“I remember going to dinners with him when we were in prep, and he just was just housing everything,” Fuller told The Hollywood Reporter. “He’s like, “Order some more of that,” or “Order some more of that,” you know? And like, “Does anybody want dessert?”

“I wore tracksuit pants for six months,” Clarke told THR. “Nothing else fit.”

The tracksuits masked (some of) the weight but not the fatigue, poor circulation and back pain. It was “unbearable,” Clarke said. “Your body can’t deal with it. You just kind of panic.”

It was all so uncomfortable, Clarke didn’t want to go out in public. The dyed-red eyebrows didn’t help.

“To watch Jason put on that hair every day, to do the makeup and the skin and everything — you look at the man and he’s almost, to me, unrecognizable,” Carr said. “So there would be some days where I was like, ‘My days are really hard.’ And then I look at him, and I was like, ‘Wooo! Alright, [at least] I’m not having to eat banana splits four times a day.’ Because you think you like it [until the second one].”

Clarke says he has since lost about 38 of those pounds — by the time this story publishes, perhaps more — by, primarily, “not eating much.” Like pretty much every weight loss journey, diet and exercise go hand in hand. That’s true here too, though Clarke says his doctor still doesn’t want him doing much cardio. The weight comes off before the cholesterol comes down.

“You destroy your metabolism,” Clarke said. “I’d finished The Last Frontier and I was in great shape. I had to destroy it. It was horrible.”

You’d need to be in great shape to do The Last Frontier, which is basically Con Air set in the Alaskan wilderness. And maybe a little crazy.

“Jason’s a lunatic!” the series’ co-creator Jon Bokenkamp told THR. “Riding horses, crashing snowmobiles, driving dogsleds on the side of a mountain … the guy’s a trooper and up for anything.”

It was a different kind of beating on the body.

“He took plenty of bruises during the action scenes but never once complained,” fellow co-creator Richard D’Ovidio told THR.

Well maybe he did a little bit when we spoke.

“Of course there’s injuries, dude!” Clarke said when I asked. “The shit hurts.”

Jason Clarke in The Last Frontier.

Apple TV+

The shit’s also appreciated by his fellow producers. (Oh yeah: Clarke also produces The Last Frontier and executive produces Murdaugh.)

“When he’s not throwing himself into the physical side of the job, he’s just a damned good actor and an incredible partner,” Bokenkamp added. “Jason wants everyone to succeed, which means there’s no room for drama. If we have an issue, we confront it head on, in scripts, on set, behind the scenes. That kind of no-nonsense mentality cuts right through all the nonsense and puts the focus on the work. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.”

Jon, Richard is right there.

“Jason reminds me of those powerhouse actors from the 70s — guys like James Caan, Robert Duvall and Gene Hackman,” D’Ovidio said. “It was hard to find a note to give him, not because he wouldn’t take it, but because from the moment he stepped on set, he was Frank Remnick.”

‘Prison Break’ Reboot Gets Hulu Series Order

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Hulu is heading into — and then out of, presumably — the big house.

The Disney-owned streamer has greenlit an update of the 2000s Fox series Prison Break. The series, in development for the better part of two years, comes from Mayans MC co-creator Elgin James, who will serve as showrunner after writing and directing the pilot episode.

While the new Prison Break will be set in the same world as the prior show, it will follow a new cast of characters. Emily Browning, Drake Rodger, Lukas Gage, Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Georgie Flores and Myles Bullock star.

The series will center on Browning’s character, an ex-soldier turned corrections officer who, per the show’s logline, “takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.”

Prison Break comes from 20th Television, which also produced the original series. James executive produces with Paul Scheuring (who created the original series), Dawn Olmstead, Marty Adelstein and Neal Moritz. Olmstead, Adelstein and Moritz were also EPs of the original show.

Prison Break premiered on Fox in 2005 and ran for four seasons, then was revived for a nine-episode run in 2017. It starred Wentworth Miller as a man who deliberately has himself incarcerated as part of a plan to break out his wrongfully convicted brother (Dominic Purcell). The show’s cast also featured Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Sarah Wayne Callies, Paul Adelstein, Rockmond Dunbar, Peter Stormare, Robin Tunney, Marshall Allman and William Fichtner. The original series streams on Hulu and Netflix.

Caterina Scorsone Takes A Break; Will Amelia Return?

by jummy84 October 17, 2025
written by jummy84

SPOILER ALERT: The story includes details about Episode 2202, “We Built This City,” of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.

EXCLUSIVE: The deadly explosion in the Season 21 finale of Grey’s Anatomy left all of the doctors at Grey Sloan reeling. No one felt the impact more than Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), whose patient Dylan’s mother was responsible for the blast. Not able to cope despite an intervention by Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary), Amelia announced at the end of tonight’s episode that she is taking a sabbatical. (You can read Deadline’s recap here.)

That sets a lengthy hiatus for longtime Grey’s Anatomy series regular cast member Scorsone. According to sources, it will span the next eight episodes, with the actress returning in 2026.

As Deadline has reported, starting in 2024-25, Grey’s Anatomy reduced the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of the show’s 18 episodes per season, a cost-saving measure employed by a number of long-running series, including the Dick Wolf dramas. It resulted in Grey’s long-tenured cast members not appearing in four episodes each, usually sprinkled throughout the season.

That again is the case for 2025-26, I hear, with the veterans doing 14 out of 18 episodes except for Scorsone who will be doing 10 out of 18. The reduction was built into Amelia’s storyline as she goes on sabbatical, with the off episodes believed to be consecutive.

The move is said to be specific to this season. Scorsone remains a series regular, and Amelia, first introduced in Season 7 of Grey’s after making her debut on spinoff Private Practice, remains a fan favorite character and one deeply rooted in the show’s mythology as the sister of Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) and sister-in-law to Meredith.

ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ stars Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd.

Disney/Nino Muñoz

In an interview after the Season 21 finale, Deadline asked Grey’s Anatomy executive producer/showrunner Meg Marinis about the Season 22 plans for Amelia who is overdue for a strong arc after she was not given a lot to do last season.

“She was very medical this season,” Marinis said at the time. “We’ll see if her strive and desire to keep taking on medical cases, we’ll see if that continues after what happens to Dylan. I think that’s a moment of hubris for her. She took on something that, there’s a possibility she shouldn’t have operated on that girl to begin with.”

The last line has been at the heart of Amelia’s emotional struggles as she blames her decision to take on Dylan’s case for everything that happened, including the death of her friend, Dr. Monica Beltran. Compounding her grief is the fact that, as Amelia revealed in tonight’s episode, after two surgeries, Dylan remains locked in awake in her body, can’t blink and is looking at spending her life in a longterm care facility.

She will hopefully improve later this season, before or after Amelia makes her return.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s relationship is often cited as one of Hollywood’s most iconic romances and highly publicized romances. The two first crossed paths on The Mickey Mouse Club and dated for nearly three years before their 2002 breakup. But what really led to their split?

Interest in their past rekindled after Britney released her 2023 memoir The Woman in Me. Around that time, Justin announced his sixth album, launching the single “Selfish,” which spurred Britney’s fans to push her 2011 song of the same name back into the spotlight.

Keep reading to find out the reason why Britney and Justin split in 2002.

Why Did Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake Break Up?

Both the Princess of Pop and the “Mirrors” crooner have addressed their breakup in the past. Immediately after their romance ended in 2002, Justin told PEOPLE that he had a “broken heart” over it but “will always love” Britney. For her part, the “Gimme More” artist explained that they split because they were “climbing two different mountains,” according to the outlet.

“Of course it’s gonna kind of hurt sometimes, and you wonder things,” Britney said at the time. “But you learn from it and grow. I’m trying to get to that point.”

In the years following their split, the exes made comments about each other, describing their relationship as immature. Justin called it “young love” and a “very intense relationship” during a 2002 interview on 20/20, whereas Britney acknowledged in her interview with Diane Sawyer that “it got way too serious, way too young.”

Justin was the one who ended things with Britney, as music video director Chris Applebaum told Page Six about the moment the “Mirrors” artist broke up with her via text. She allegedly revealed a message from Justin to Chris on the set of her music video for “Overprotected: The Dark Child Remix.” The text allegedly read just two words from him: “It’s over!!!”

More recently, People reported that Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline claimed in his upcoming memoir that Britney called Justin the night before her 2004 wedding to “make sure everything was done” between them, a conversation he described as her “final piece” of closure.

Did Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake Cheat on Each Other?

Despite ongoing fan speculation, there is no evidence pointing to whether Britney cheated on Justin. However, his were convinced he suggested that Britney was unfaithful when he released his “Cry Me a River” music video, which featured a woman who looked a lot like the “Till the World Ends” singer.

In her 2023 The Woman in Me memoir, Britney claimed that Justin cheated on her with “another celebrity.” She did not disclose the person’s name because she “now has a family” and Britney “doesn’t want to embarrass” her, according to TMZ. However, Britney also owned up to her own infidelity in her book, revealing that she also cheated on Justin with dancer Wade Robson. So, ultimately, the exes were both unfaithful.

During her sit-down interview with Diane in 2003, the reporter grilled Britney on whether or not she cheated on Justin. “You broke his heart. You did something that caused him so much pain, so much suffering. What did you do?” Diane asked her.

“I think everyone has a side of their story to make them feel a certain way,” she said. “I’m not technically saying he’s wrong, but I’m not technically saying he’s right either. It was a really weird time … I just felt very exploited and very weird.”

It appeared that the exes remained amicable two decades after their split. Britney gave Justin a shout-out via Instagram for being a “genius” in response to his song “Filthy” in 2020. One year later, the Social Network actor outwardly supported Britney when she worked to get her conservatorship terminated. Among the Grammy Award winner’s most shocking revelations about her conservatorship — which lasted from 2008 to 2021 — was that she was allegedly forced to get an IUD to avoid having more children.

In response to Britney’s revelations, Justin tweeted that what was “happening to her [was] just not right” and that “no woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.”

Britney Spears Revealed She Had an Abortion With Justin Timberlake

In her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, Britney revealed that she had an abortion when she and Justin were together.

“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much,” the “Hold Me Closer” artist wrote. “I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. … If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet, Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

Justin has not directly commented on Britney’s claim nor her book. A source close to the singer did say that JT wasn’t pleased with the book. “Justin thought Britney might talk about their ups and downs in more general terms — not air out their very personal, dirty laundry,” they told Us Weekly.  He did appear to refer to the book and her thoughts about his song “Cry Me a River” during a surprise performance of the track in Las Vegas. He shortly said “No disrespect” before launching into the song.
