Belted Boots Will Be Everywhere in 2026

by jummy84 November 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Expect to see belted boots everywhere in 2026. The fashionable alternative to moto and biker styles is just starting to trend now and will surely be widespread by the new year.

As fashionable outfits become increasingly minimalist, it seems accessories have become more and more gritty in response. Special, unexpected details are appearing on shoes and bags, turning them into the main character of an outfit. Like a simple cardigan paired with furry pumps, for example, or a classic miniskirt with super-tall, super-slouchy boots.

And this winter it’s all about playing with different shades and styles, finding the line where traditional meets contemporary to create a new balance of similarities and contrasts. Among the must-haves in the modern-day fashionista’s wardrobe, it’d be impossible not to mention boots in every variation. From biker to equestrian styles, we thought we’d seen every type of boot possible. But the runways and street style have shown us, once again, that fashion is a constant surprise.

Now belted boots are the latest obsession taking over the trend cycle.

As the name suggests, these boots are characterized by a strap of any kind. Thin or thick, with a big gold buckle or something more subtle, placed near the instep or along the leg…it doesn’t matter as long as the belt exists. The belt adds a touch of delicate but gritty elegance to the shoe regardless of whether it’s a single, minimalist strap or tripled for a more assertive, edgy effect.

Belted boots were all over the runways for fall and winter 2025–2026. Miu Miu proposed a super-tight model, featuring a single strap at knee height, while Alexander McQueen opted for a pointed toe embellished with maxi buckles along the instep. At Dolce & Gabbana, we saw an extreme version of the biker boot that was all in on its maximalism.

Deep into closed-toe season, the versatility of the best ankle boots remains unmatched, mostly because of just how versatile they are. The low profile can be styled with cropped jeans, tailored trousers, midi-dresses, and miniskirts alike, never competing with hemlines or creating awkward gaps in your outfit. In recent years, the silhouette has taken a knock as one past its peak—but this season’s street-style outfits are loudly singing another tune. In truth, this millennial staple is timeless; don’t let the haters tell you otherwise.

This fall and winter, key styles managed to touch on wider fashion trends while taking seasonal functionality into account. How do you marry coffee-run dressing with after-hours styling, or dry fall mornings with wet winter days? (Not with a stiletto. We know that much.) Luckily, we have you covered with classic Chelsea boots, fuzzy cold-weather styles, and elevated suede options. Best suede ankle boots

Suede—especially chocolate-brown suede—is one of the most popular trends of the season, so why not carry that luxe texture into your footwear as well? A pair of suede booties will instantly elevate any look. Throw a block heel on with a pair of straight-leg jeans, or opt for a sleeker kitten heel with a date night-ready midiskirt or dress. If you’re looking for something you can easily walk in, choose a sturdier heel; for fancy occasions, we suggest a stiletto, which has an inherently dressy feel.

This casual British bootie earned its name from its popularity among the artsy crowds of the Chelsea area of London in the ’50s and ’60s. Today, this durable, pull-on ankle boot is equally as effortless to style, whether you’re a rockstar or a style influencer. For a truly iconic look, might we suggest styling Chelsea boots with skinny jeans? It’s a combo that’s very Saint Laurent. As a bonus, thanks to their low, wide heels, you can walk miles in these pairs without fuss, making them great sneaker alternatives and true wardrobe workhorses for the season.

Best black ankle boots

The icon! There’s no wardrobe item quite as essential or classic as a black leather boot, and an ankle silhouette makes it all the more functional. Whether you opt for slim and high, a chunky low heel, or one that’s practically flat, you can come up with a million ways to style these picks. They’re essentially the little black dress of your winter footwear rotation. Mark our words: There’s nowhere a black leather ankle bootie can’t go.

Let’s talk winter weather. No matter how many chic ankle boots you have in rotation, you need at least one pair that will take you through a slushy commute or a frigid nighttime stroll. Like a wind-resistant winter coat, it’ll quickly prove its worth. Still, that doesn’t mean that you need to sacrifice style for water-resistant utility. These six favorites will have you looking totally winter-ready and keep you cozy, warm, and dry. Sherpa shearling, durable lug soles, waterproof design— these perks make stormy weather a little more tolerable.

Taylor Swift’s Favorite Fall Boots Go Best With a Tight Little Skirt

by jummy84 November 16, 2025
written by jummy84

We love boots, in all their versions. And Taylor Swift clearly does, too. However, if the singer had to choose just one style, there’s no doubt which one would be her favorite: stiletto boots.

The shoes are totally in line with Swift’s style, which often deftly toes the line between classic and trendy. In her latest public appearances—well, except for her most recent outing with Sabrina Carpenter, in which she opted for a pair of sky-high loafers—Taylor Swift has worn boots with a spiky stiletto heel. A classic shoe, with a little bit of a daring touch.

And Swift seems to especially love combining this type of boot with miniskirts (or as she might call it, “a tight little skirt”). Case in point: her most recent date in New York City with fiancé, Travis Kelce. The singer opted for an all-black look that included a knitted sweater, matching miniskirt, lace tights, and black stiletto boots.

I would be willing to bet that you are already quite aware of the massive popularity of The Row’s front-zip ankle boots. The sleek lug style boot has had fashion people in a chokehold for years now and the style doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon as evidenced from my Instagram feed and just a quick glance at celebrities and stylish people from NYC to Paris. I kept from securing a pair or my own knowing all too well how fast designer trends come and go—not to mention the high price tag—but I’m admittedly still smitten with the cool designer boots in 2025.

It seems I am not alone in my continual interest, as a plethora of standout alternatives have been showing up at some of my favorite retailers at various price points. One such pair caught my eye this week at Old Navy. They have a $50 alt in both black and brown suede options that just so happen to be on sale for $30 right now. These are undoubtedly a great way to satisfy the craving without breaking the bank.

Keep scrolling to shop The Row’s highly-coveted zipped boot as well as a variety of alternatives, including Old Navy’s offering. This particular affordable pair is likely to sell out before you know it.

Best Christmas adverts 2025 | John Lewis’ tear-jerker to Boots’ fairytale

by jummy84 November 4, 2025

The nights are drawing in and Christmas is certainly approaching – in fact, all that’s left now is for shops to deliver their highly-anticipated Christmas retailers.

With the festive period being extremely lucrative for retailers as millions flock to the shops for the perfect gifts for their loved ones, it’s important to make sure their shop is front of mind for Christmas prepping.

Last year, we saw a complete mix of adverts, ranging from the cute (Barbour’s Shaun the Sheep) to the intriguing (Waitrose’s two-part mystery).

One that always gets talked about, regardless of tone, is the John Lewis Christmas advert, which has released uncharacteristically early.

Needless to say, it’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas.

Keep this page bookmarked as we update it with the best Christmas adverts for 2025 from across the UK as they land.

John Lewis was among the first retailers to put out their Christmas advert, and this year’s offering focuses on a father-son relationship.

The son buys a present for his dad and, while he’s nervous to give him it, it turns out to be the perfect gift – as the vinyl record transports him back in time to his glory days clubbing.

It turns out that you don’t need to have the words, so long as you can provide a thoughtful gift!

The advert is soundtracked by two versions of Where Love Lives – by the original Alison Limerick and Labrinth.

Morrisons are shedding light on the manufacturing process in their Christmas advert, showcasing that it takes a lot of time to get food on the table – in fact, it starts a lot earlier than most think!

Throughout the advert, soundtracked by Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie, unassuming customers see farmers and other produce growers continuing with their preparations for Christmas, even when the sun is shining.

Matt McLellan, Morrisons Group Customer, Data & Marketing Director, said: “Our Christmas advert tells the story of how our festive fayre, such as our award-winning mince pies or delicious smoked salmon, appears on our shelves and the care and attention that our colleagues and food makers put into making them.

“At Morrisons, our unique capabilities in fresh food mean we’ve been helping to make more of Christmas all year by growing, picking, baking, proving, prepping and planning to support our customers as the big day draws near.”

Peter Crouch, Judi Love and many more famous faces have come together to celebrate the Debenhams Christmas advert for 2025.

In a feel-good celebration of the festive season, an unassuming and sleepy British street is transformed into a bright and sparkling parade, packed to the brim with British celebrities.

Debenhams proudly announce that it’s never too soon to be in the Christmas spirit, with Crouchy shouting: “Let’s have it!”

Commenting on the film, Dan Finley, CEO at Debenhams Group, said, “This year’s ‘Debenhams Delivered’ campaign captures the moment when the magic of Christmas quite literally lands on your doorstep.

“At its heart, it’s about connection – bringing people together through joy, laughter and the ease of finding everything you need in one place. With familiar faces like Olivia Attwood, Peter Crouch and Judi Love leading the celebration, the film captures that unmistakable British warmth and humour. We want our customers to feel that same sense of sparkle and magic this Christmas.”

The BFG makes a surprise appearance in the Sainsbury’s Christmas advert as they aim to provide good food for all, via innovative and affordable food for every customer.

Sainsbury’s colleagues team up with the BFG as they try to stop The Greedy Giant from eating up all the delicious food.

By the end of the advert, Annie the worker reminds us all that it’s always possible to make room for people at Christmas.

Radha Davies, Sainsbury’s Marketing Director, said: “We want to help our customers have an unforgettable and magical Christmas. Sainsbury’s is here to help the nation get ready for anything during the festive season, from spectacular centrepieces to showstopping desserts, our innovative range of high-quality Taste the Difference food makes hosting easy. There’s something for every occasion and to bring joy to all, even when the unexpected strikes.

“We were delighted to revisit our collaboration with the Roald Dahl Story Company this year. The BFG, who is loved by all, was the perfect partner to help our brilliant colleague Annie save the day for our customers. We wanted to capture a spirit of heartwarming nostalgia, with the energy of a great Christmas tale.

“We’ve translated that joyful energy into our new food range, which is designed to help families and friends create wonderful memories, with delicious, quality options for every taste and budget.”

This Grinch find his heart melted by the green light of Asda as the impressive prices help him transform back into his human “dad” self.

Rachel Eyre, Chief Customer Officer at Asda said: “We’re so excited to launch this year’s Christmas campaign. We all love Christmas, but we also know it can come with financial pressures.

“That’s why this year, we’re focused on helping everyone enjoy the festive season we all deserve, filled with joy, celebration, and the reassurance of Asda Price. Wedge Boots Are the Most Comfortable Shoe for Everyday Wear (Without Giving Up Heels)

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Wedge boots are that rare perfect compromise between elegant and everyday comfort. We often resort to high heels when we want to make an outfit look dressy and special, but then they end up destroying our feet as the hours go by. There’s no doubt that a great heel or platform can do a lot for a look, especially for those of us on the shorter side, but I don’t think anyone truly believes they’re ever as comfortable as a pair of sneakers.

However, there is a solution for a shoe that is both elevated and easy to walk in. They’re an old acquaintance, too: wedge boots. Yes, the shoes you probably loved in the 2010s are back on trend. Get them in black, brown, or white so they go with everything—you’ll get a great cost per wear, because these are the kind of shoes that can last from 9 to 9 (and beyond). They offer an elegant silhouette and stylish accent to any outfit, but they’re decidedly more practical for walking than any heel in your closet.

What made the wedge boot such a must-have back then remains it’s biggest selling point now: Unlike a thin heel, which concentrates all the pressure on the front of the foot, a wedge distributes the weight evenly and allows each step to feel more stable even with the height. We’re seeing them everywhere in street style looks, but they’re also practical for everyday wear too. Wear them to the office with a satin skirt or out to a party with friends with trendy lace tights and shorts.

You can find these boots at most major retailers, no matter your price point, but we also shopped out a few of our favorites from online for you below.

Taylor Swift Paired Her Trendiest Fall Boots With a Very Un-Taylor Swift Jacket

by jummy84 October 31, 2025
written by jummy84

Taylor Swift has always loved autumn, so it’s no surprise her best style moments typically fall between the months of September and November. The year of 2025 is no exception.

On October 30, the 35-year-old pop star proved she’s aware of this fall’s biggest trends—and knows exactly how to dress up her own pair of chocolate suede boots. During a New York City outing with close friend and stylist Ashley Avignone, Swift went for a monochrome brown look, pairing her Manolo Blahnik knee-high Lina boots with a cashmere turtleneck minidress by Doên, her go-to California-based brand.

While knee high boots and refined knitwear are key elements of Swift’s style, she went a bit off-script with her choice in outerwear. Instead of pulling out one of her long-favored wool coats, Swift finished off the look with an oversized brown bomber jacket by Polish designer Magda Butrym. You can see the look here.

All of these pieces share a timeless quality, while still complying with current trends that favor earthy browns and rich suedes across the board. Oversized bomber jackets, of course, have been a hot commodity for the past few fall-winter seasons, though Swift typically avoids the voluminous silhouette outside of sports arenas.

Discounting her $3,750 Louis Vuitton camera box bag, this look is devoid of the designer logos Swift embraced last year, signaling a return to the more relatable, classic style the pop star was once known for. And while her specific outfit is far from affordable—barring her jewelry and designer bag, the three main pieces still ring up to $5,610—the look itself is not difficult to replicate at various budgets without sacrificing quality.

Madewell Relaxed Leather Bomber Jacket

When it comes to Taylor Swift’s trendy boots, it doesn’t get much more similar than Dolce Vita’s Emmi Boots in dark brown suede, which retail for $275, though Glamour has tracked down plenty of other versions of the popular style. Add a vintage leather bomber or a faux leather version like this $160 option from Abercrombie & Fitch, et voilà. Depending on your personal budget, you may have enough left over to spring for the actual Doên sweater dress in Swift’s closet, which retails for $450 and is still available now.

Jennifer Lopez Proves ’70s Cuffed Jeans and Brown Boots Is the Best Fall Combo

by jummy84 October 29, 2025

Jennifer Lopez never misses an opportunity to show off her great style. The latest example of this? When the triple threat spoke with Howard Stern about her latest movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, which she stars in alongside Diego Luna, Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, and Josefina Scaglione. For the interview, she was spotted wearing a pair of cuffed jeans and brown boots—a very autumnal look with a touch of retro vibes.

Lately, Lopez has been favoring baggy pants with her style—even better if they show off an amazing pair of platform shoes—but her latest look makes a strong case for adding more straight-leg and flare jeans to the rotation. For her appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, she wore an outfit that leaned into the ’70s vibes, which is on trend right now, and included cuffed jeans, aviator sunglasses, a denim top and tie, a tweed blazer, and platform suede boots. You can see the full look here.

Before we get started, I’d like to clarify one thing. I’m not here to stir up any royal drama, I’m simply reporting on similar fashion choices I observe among members of England’s most famous family. In other words, I’m more concerned with millinery than marriages and suiting instead of scandals. What’s making Daily Mail headlines these days? I haven’t the faintest idea! I do, however, know what Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have been wearing lately.

In a new video on her personal Instagram account, Meghan Markle shared a cute behind-the-scenes look at her family’s outing at a pumpkin patch. In the Reel, the duchess wears an Anine Bing Luca Jacket (that’s sadly sold out), black skinny jeans, and Co Leather Riding Boots ($1195). You know who else loves to pair flat knee-high boots with skinny jeans? Kate Middleton. In fact, it’s one of her signature outfits for fall and winter. Scroll down to see how both women style the winning combo and shop it for yourself.
