Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan touched hearts during Diwali with a touching post that emanated love, appreciation, and festive spirit. Going on his social media platforms, SRK posted a peaceful picture of his wife, Gauri Khan, conducting a Diwali puja from home. Captioning the photograph, he said, “Happy Diwali to all! May Goddess Lakshmi ji fill you with happiness and prosperity. Sending love, light and peace to all.”

The post went viral immediately, with fans filling the comments with best wishes, heart emojis, and congratulatory messages on the elegance and simplicity of the gesture. Many called it “pure Mannat vibes,” the actor’s legendary Mumbai mansion. With a reputation for hosting lavish Diwali parties with the biggest celebrities in Bollywood, Shah Rukh opted for a low-key celebration this year. Ongoing construction work at Mannat has reportedly prompted the family to forego the usual large get-together.

Even in the lack of any extravagant party, SRK’s solitary post was sufficient to generate festive fervor on the internet. His peace and prosperity message was received extremely well by his fans worldwide, bringing him one of the most shared and liked Diwali posts on X (formerly Twitter).

People from all of India and Korea celebrated the moment as “the crossover of the century.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is presently filming King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The action film stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Raghav Juyal, and will be released in 2026.

Vedang Raina and Sharvari Seek Blessings at Golden Temple Before Starting Imtiaz Ali’s Next

Vedang Raina and Sharvari are all set to star in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming directorial project. The film has already started generating excitement among fans, and netizens are eager to learn more. Recently, Vedang shared pictures from the Golden Temple in Amritsar, where he and Sharvari were seen seeking blessings. The shooting of the film has officially begun and will also feature Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah in supporting roles.


Vedang took to Instagram to share several pictures from the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s next. He captioned the post “Asking for strength and blessings to show up better every day. All in and surrendered to begin this next chapter of my life and ready for whatever it takes from me and gives to me. Grateful to be a part of this special film and privileged to be working with the most amazing and talented set of people @imtiazaliofficial @naseeruddin49 @diljitdosanjh @sharvari Sukh aur Shanti.”

In one of the photos, Vedang is seen wearing a white kurta paired with blue jeans, his head covered with an orange cloth featuring the Khanda symbol. Another picture shows Sharvari sitting beside him as the duo seeks blessings at the Golden Temple. Fans are excited to see them together in this spiritual and auspicious moment before the film shoot.

 

Another image features a clapboard, signalling the start of filming. The title of the movie is yet to be announced, but Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah are expected to join Vedang and Sharvari on set soon. 

On the Professional front, Vedang Raina was last seen in Jigra alongside Alia Bhatt, a performance that was well-received, while Sharvari’s previous film Munjya was a box office hit. She will next be seen in YRF’s Alpha with Alia Bhatt.

The 10-day-long festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated with grandeur across India, and Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja continues to remain the spiritual hub of the festivities. Thousands of devotees from across the country are flocking to the pandal to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Among the notable visitors this year was actress Sana Makbul, who came to offer prayers and celebrate the occasion with fans and fellow devotees.

Career Highlights
Sana Makbul began her career as a model, transitioning to television with an appearance in MTV Scooty Teen Diva (2009). She became known through top-rated shows such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Arjun. She stunned audiences by appearing in the semi-finals in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2021.
Her largest achievement was in 2024, when she took the title of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. She has also worked on Tamil, Telugu, and Bollywood ventures, and has most recently featured in the popular music video Koi Koi Karda with Stebin Ben.

The winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana, appeared glamorous in a vintage pink kurta outfit matched with a floral dupatta. Her grace and warm smile contributed to the festive atmosphere as she merged with the crowd gathered at the pandal. This time I came slightly late, but I sure came).

Janhvi Kapoor, busy with her own promotional duties for her next romantic drama Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra, found the time to join in Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. On August 28, the actress paid her respects at the puja arranged by designer Manish Malhotra at his house and then went to the famous Lalbaugcha Raja with Sidharth to seek god’s blessings for their film’s success.

Traditional Getup for the Occasion
For the festivities, Janhvi wore a stunning red saree coupled with a Maharashtrian nose ring, exuding celebratory grandeur. She was spotted making prayers alongside the Ganesh idol, doing the rituals with faith, and later enjoying some happy moments with Manish Malhotra. Sharing photos from the puja on Instagram, she captioned them briefly with, “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Discussing Comparisons with Chennai Express
As enthusiasm for Param Sundari keeps building, the movie has also fueled debates on social media in terms of its resemblance to Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express. Critics have noted similarities in the plot, while Janhvi has had comments made about her accent in the movie.

Replying to these talks in an interview with Mirchi Plus, Janhvi clarified, “I play a character from Kerala, but it is not that all South Indians are the same. There are differences in the culture and this story has its own genuineness. Films like 2 States also had such similarities, but that happened after Chennai Express. Let’s be honest, Chennai Express is a classic, and this film is a completely different thing.”

A Cross-Cultural Love Story
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sundari explores the romance between two characters from contrasting backgrounds—one from Delhi and the other from Kerala—highlighting the challenges of cultural differences. Alongside Janhvi and Sidharth, the film features Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles.

With its strong ensemble cast, rich cultural setting, and Janhvi’s rising popularity, Param Sundari has already become one of the year’s most awaited releases.
