Earlier today, Friday, October 31, Gauahar Khan took to her Instagram Stories and shared a video message, in which she called out Tanya’s recent comments. She begins the video by saying, “Initially, mujhe lagta tha ki Tanya bohot hi sorted, bholi, drame waali hai. And that she was very entertaining. And I still think she is entertaining but the way she is body shaming Ashnoor behind her back is absolutely disgusting. (Initially, I used to think Tanya was very sorted, innocent, a bit dramatic — and quite entertaining. I still find her entertaining, but the way she’s been body-shaming Ashnoor behind her back is absolutely disgusting.)”

The mom of two continued, “Calling her ‘haathi’ in the task, and saying things like ‘21 saal ki nahi lagti hai’, ‘kitni chubby hai’, ‘iska toh weight put on ho raha hai.’ (She called her elephant during a task and said things like, ‘She doesn’t look 21,’ ‘She’s so chubby,’ and ‘She’s putting on weight).’

Gauahar further highlighted an incident that took place two weeks ago, wherein Tanya commented on Ashnoor’s dress. She said, “About two weeks ago, Ashnoor came out wearing a dress, and Neelam said she looked nice. Slamming Tanya Mittal for her body shamming comments, Gauahar Khan said, “I just don’t understand why someone would comment on another person’s looks and then talk behind their back, saying they don’t look good. Everyone has the right to feel and believe that they’re beautiful. And if you think you’re at the top of beauty standards, that’s fine. But if you put others down to make yourself feel prettier, then you’re not beautiful at all. Because more than being beautiful, it’s important to be good-hearted. In the live feed, Tanya and Neelam were captured discussing Ashnoor’s appearance. Tanya was heard commenting that despite Ashnoor’s regular gym sessions, she appeared to have gained weight, while Neelam added that her daily workouts didn’t seem to be making any difference, expressing surprise over her weight gain.

He continued, “But as a father, meri yeh khwahish thi ki log Amaal ko dekhein, pehchanein aur samjhein ki yeh wahi music composer Amaal Mallik hai jisne yeh saari legacy banayi hai. Lekin mujhe yeh bhi ehsaas hua hai ki Bigg Boss itna aasan nahi hai. Because Bigg Boss mein aane ke baad aap ek aise zone mein chale jaate ho, jahan par aap apne andar ke joh thoughts hain, joh sochne ka process hai woh aap chhupa nahi sakte. Woh bahar aa hi jaate hain. Aapke ghar mein aapki apni personal understanding hoti hai. Jitne log badi-badi aur negative baatein karte hain, agar unki apni zindagi dekhi jaaye, toh unhe bhi hazaar cheezein samajh mein aayengi.”

Daboo On Negativity

The veteran music composer added, “Aur ungli uthane se pehle, logon ko apni zindagi bhi dekhni chahiye. But jab negative traits aur negative baatein samne aani shuru hoti hain, toh wahan par aapki jo organic existence hoti hai, jo real personality hoti hai — definitely it affects that. It affects your larger scheme of things. Log kehte hain ki yeh show ek musician ke liye bana hi nahi tha. Lekin jo character bahar aa raha hai, mujhe lagta hai ki jab itni saari reactions, comments aur negativity aa rahi hai, toh phir log usko itna pasand kyun kar rahe hain? Aakhir itne saare log usko like kyun kar rahe hain, aur kyun keh rahe hain ki ‘Bhaiya, kuch bhi ho, lekin baat toh hai?’ Toh kuch toh chal raha hai — shayad koi aisa angle hai jiske wajah se log usko promote kar rahe hain.”

Daboo Malik On Amaal Mallik’s Game Plan

When asked about Amaal’s game in Bigg Boss 19, Daboo said, “Mujhe lagta hai ki game mein aap hoshiyari dikhaiye, apna point of view rakhiye, ladiye — jo bhi karna hai, woh sab logon ke liye hona chahiye. Bas ek cheez hoti hai shayad, jo under the belt baatein karna, ya koi aisi baat karna jiska social level pe koi relevance nahi ho usse I think bachna chahiye. Maine Weekend Ka Vaar pe usko jaake ye baat batayi bhi thi. Toh mujhe lagta hai wo kahin na kahin us cheez ko analyse kar raha hoga.”

He continued, “Lekin koi maanega nahi, kyunki mere bolne ke bawajood bhi 1 lakh comments aa jaayenge us episode pe, jahan log apne-apne point of view rakhenge aur direct gaaliyaan bhi dete hain log. Toh usko toh koi rok nahi sakta. But is khel ko samajhna itna aasan nahi hai. Maine abhi research karke kaafi saari purani videos dekhi hain. Mujhe lagta hai 19 saal mein maine kabhi itna closely ye show nahi dekha tha.”

Malik added, “Aur na hi humare performance ya DNA mein kabhi tha ki hum is show ko watch karein. Lekin dekhne se ye samajh aaya ki pichle seasons mein bahut badi-badi cheezein ho chuki hain. Toh mujhe lagta hai iss season mein shayad utna kuch hua nahi hai. Haan, lekin log Bigg Boss 19 ko pyaar kar rahe hain. Agar aisa nahi hota toh itna bada hungama hota bhi nahi. Toh, I think log reach out kar rahe hain, analyse aur reanalyse kar rahe hain. Sabki apni-apni opinions hain. Main dekh raha hoon itne saare log baat kar rahe hain, itni saari interviews ho rahi hain.”

Daboo Misses Music Sessions With Amaal

The music composer admitted that he misses Amaal. He said, “Aur main toh apne bacche se bas yehi kehna chahta hoon, ‘Beta, kyun mujhse door hai? Jaldi aa jaa.’ That’s it. I really miss him — humare morning sessions aur musical sessions mujhe bahut yaad aate hain. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki ye dooriyan mujhe itna emotional kar dengi. And I wish him good health, good luck. He has faced challenges — jaise aap dekhte hain, wo nose strip pehenta hai, uska breathing equipment hai. Uske bawajood wo wahan hai, lad raha hai.”

Concluding, he said, “Aur wo jaanta hai ki uske father bahut emotional ho gaye honge bahar, aur unke against logon ne ungliyan bhi uthayi hongi. Woh samajhta hai us cheez ko. Aur usko pata hai ki uska father bahut, bahut emotional hai. But I just want to say, ‘Son, don’t worry. I’ve learnt and understood how this entire world operates. Tu bas healthy reh, aur mehnat karta reh. That’s it.’”

When asked about Amaal Mallik’s love angle shown with Tanya Mittal, Daboo Malik said, “I love Tanya Mittal. I love her. Toh ab mujhe again yeh mat poochho ki wo game khel rahi hai ya political hai ya jo bhi hai, lekin jo bhi wo personality hai, mujhe toh bahut acchi lagti hai. Main toh pehle bhi keh chuka hoon, hamesha se kehta hoon, she’s special.”

Continuing, he said, “Mujhe lagta hai dono dost hain. I don’t think Amaal woh aisa character hai jaisa log soch rahe hain. Logon ne notice kiya ya nahi, pata nahi, lekin dekhiye, aaj us show ke andar jahan tak ladaiyaan, jhagde sab kuch hain, wo sab dikh raha hai. When asked who is he favourite contestant in Bigg Boss 19 is and whom he would like to meet, the music composer said, “I would like to meet everybody. See, I love… ab kya bataun, kya hi bataun. Mujhe toh aisa lagta hai hum sab parents hain, sab hum bahar hain. Hamare saare bachche andar hain. To hum sab parents apne-apne bachchon ko apni nazar se dekh rahe hain, sab apne positive aur negative points observe kar rahe hain. So, I think Ashnoor is also so cute, and everybody is nice. Bas ab sabka naam nahi le sakta, but mujhe sab pasand hain.”

Shehnaaz Gill has come out in strong support of her brother Shehbaaz Badesha, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 19. In a recent interview with Zoom, the actress-singer opened up about her brother’s journey on the show and addressed comments about him being “financially dependent” on her.

Shehnaaz clarified that before Shehbaaz entered the Bigg Boss house, she had already warned him about the kind of taunts he might face. “When he was about to go inside, I told him to be ready because people would say he lives off his sister. His entry was also scripted differently — they wanted me to say certain lines, but I refused because I didn’t want him to be disrespected,” she explained. She added that while the introduction was meant to be humorous, viewers misunderstood it and took it seriously.

Reacting to Shehbaaz admitting on the show that he depends on her financially, Shehnaaz said there’s much more to their relationship than people see. “He has done so much for me. When I was in Bigg Boss, he handled everything for me — from management to decision-making. He even guided me about who was genuine and who wasn’t, and he was always right,” she said, praising her brother’s maturity and support.

Shehnaaz added that while her brother’s humor is genuine, some contestants have misunderstood his intentions.

The actress concluded by saying she is proud of Shehbaaz for staying true to himself despite criticism, and she continues to support him wholeheartedly from outside the house.
