Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr’s beloved comedy air date confirmed

If you’re missing Alan Carr after his astonishing run on Celebrity Traitors, don’t despair: the comedian’s hit ITV sitcom is returning to screens later this month for its third season.

Changing Ends is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age series, which sees Carr dramatise his childhood, growing up as the son of a football manager and not quite understanding what made him different to the other boys at his school.

Child actor Oliver Savell plays a young Alan Carr, while the comedian himself features as a narrator, appearing on-screen to offer context and reflections on the show’s storylines.

Changing Ends has earned a generally positive reception from critics and viewers alike, becoming ITVX’s most-viewed comedy in 2023, with Savell subsequently earning a BAFTA nomination for his uncanny turn as Carr.

The next chapter in the sitcom is available to stream from the morning of Sunday 23rd November 2025 on ITVX, with a linear broadcast to follow at 10:05pm that night on ITV1 – just after I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

It’s an enviable lead-in for the series, which ITV will be hoping receives a Celebrity Traitors bump after Carr emerged as the breakout star of the recent season, with many viewers declaring him a “national treasure” for his masterful hoodwinking.

Carr himself acknowledged on Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked that the reaction to his participation has been more intense than his earlier television work, with industry pundits predicting high-profile follow-up gigs in the comic’s future.

For now, though, it’s a return to the comfortingly familiar ground of Changing Ends. The synopsis for season 3, courtesy of ITV teases a crush for the teenaged Carr on a new character named Jake.

It asks: “Does love struck Alan suppress this crush or shout about it from the rooftops?”

“Whatever happens, it’s going to be tough as Alan has the thankless task of navigating the adolescent minefields that are sleepovers, swimming lessons and nights out with the boys – and the girls.

“But it’s not all doom and gloom as some unexpected allies give Alan a much-needed glimpse of a hopeful future and they’re not a million miles away from his own doorstep.”

Changing Ends seasons 1-2 are available on ITVX. Season 3 premieres on ITV1 at 10:05pm on Sunday 23rd November 2025.

Veteran actor Satish Shah, with his impeccable comedy timing and memorable performances on screen and TV, passed away on October 25 at around 2:30 pm at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. The veteran actor was 74 years old. The legendary actor was unwell for a long time with kidney problems and had recently undergone a transplant. His manager informed India Today that the actor’s body is currently at the hospital, and the funeral will be conducted on Sunday.

Having worked for over four decades in the field, Satish Shah became one of India’s dearest actors and best comedians. He reached a wide level of fame for the very first time with the 1983 hit ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, where his brilliant comic performance and ability to get into several roles made him a household name. He performed unforgettable roles in films such as ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, and ‘Om Shanti Om’ throughout his life, where he demonstrated his phenomenal range for comedy, drama, as well as emotional roles.

On television, Shah reached legendary status with his portrayal of Indravadan Sarabhai in the hit sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, a role that continues to be celebrated as one of Indian television’s finest comic creations. His work in the 1984 sitcom ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ also remains etched in the memories of audiences who grew up watching his effortless humor and charm.

Satish Shah’s passing is a warning that an era in Indian entertainment is over. His heritage is not so much his work, but the smiles, warmth, and laughter he drew out of millions. Friends, fans, and the film fraternity mourn the loss of a legend whose work will remain eternally relevant.

Dr. Jane Goodall was a beloved researcher, primatologist, zoologist and overall celebrity scientist. The late 91-year-old London, England, native died in her sleep while she was on her speaking tour in California. With her death so sudden to mourners, many wondered what happened to her and what her cause of death was.

Just one day before Jane died, a video was posted to her institute’s Instagram page. In it, she discussed our ecosystem’s deterioration. She had also appeared at New York Climate Week less than one week before her death.

Who Was Jane Goodall?

Jane is remembered as the world’s expert in chimpanzees and a researcher and primatologist. Her dedication to animals began in 1960 when she visited the Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania. From there, she went on to appear in more than 40 documentaries for her research and expertise.

How Did Jane Goodall Die? Her Cause of Death

The Jane Goodall Institute announced she died due to natural causes in its initial announcement. In the institute’s second Instagram statement, it noted that Dr. Goodall died “peacefully in her sleep.”

“With great sadness, the Jane Goodall Institute confirmed this morning the passing of the organization’s founder, Dr. Jane Goodall, age 91 who died peacefully in her sleep while in Los Angeles, California, for her speaking tour in the United States,” the announcement read.

On October 20, 2025, TMZ reported that Goodall died as a result of cardiopulmonary arrest, which is another name for cardiac arrest, per her death certificate. 

Was Jane Goodall Married? About Her Late Husband

Jane was married to her ex-husband, Dutch wildlife photographer Baron Hugo van Lawick, from 1964 to 1974. She was briefly known as Baroness Jane van Lawick-Goodall during their marriage.

The researcher then married her second husband, Derek Bryceson, who died of cancer in 1980. He was a member of Tanzania’s parliament and the director of the country’s national parks.

Jane did not remarry after her late husband’s death.

Hugo Eric Louis van Lawick is Jane’s only son, whom she shared with her ex-husband, Baron Hugo van Lawick. Nicknamed “Grub,” Hugo Jr. was born in Kenya and balanced his childhood between Africa and England.

Jane credited her chimpanzee research with helping her adjust to motherhood. The primatologist told SheKnows in December 2022, “I think that I learned the same sort of thing from watching chimpanzees and learning about my own mother and the way she raised me. The most important thing is support. You need to support your child in what they want to do, they might change their mind but don’t try and impose what you want your child to do on them, just support them.”

The final Instagram post of Diane Keaton, who died in California on Saturday, October 11, aged 79, featured her beloved dog. The legendary actress, known for her roles in Father of the Bride, First Wives Club, and more, shared her last post on April 11, in honor of National Pet Day.

Keaton, a dog lover and vocal animal rights lobbyist, revealed in an Instagram post that she brought Reggie into her life in 2020. She shared a video of her beloved pooch running and jumping in a backyard area.

“THIS IS MY NEW DOG, REGGIE!!! IS SHE HALF HORSE OR HALF DOG? MAYBE SHE’S INSANE! I LOVE HER!” the post was captioned.

PETA remembers Diane Keaton

After Keaton’s death, Animal rights group PETA remembered her as a “true friend to animals.” “Diane Keaton’s impact as a brilliant and talented actor is undeniable, but PETA will always remember her as a true friend to animals,” PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said in a statement to Men’s Journal on October 11. “At every turn, she used her platform to champion animals, from advocating kindness toward animals often overlooked, such as pigeons, to taking on abusive cub-petting operations by endorsing the Big Cat Public Safety Act, to ditching meat and reminding everyone that ‘it’s nuts’ to eat animals.”

“Diane’s heart was evident in everything she did, and she will be greatly missed by all of us at PETA,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, after Keaton’s death, a spokesperson for the Annie Hall star told People, “There are no further details available at this time, and her family has asked for privacy in this moment of great sadness.”

Of course, this comes after Watson got a bit playful with paparazzi during a recent trip to Saint-Tropez, where she made faces at photographers while hiking in a bikini, crochet cover-up, and colorful sneakers. Though we’re used to seeing the former Harry Potter star with brunette hair, she recently debuted a new blonde look that perfectly suits her summer vacation wardrobe.

Obviously, she channeled a very different vibe at the Italian film festival, though she’s still rocking warm honey blonde highlights. Her little beige shift dress, nude sling-back pumps, and Ray Bans are much closer to the classic, preppy aesthetic she’s known to favor.

In fact, she shares some sartorial instincts with another famous blonde—and while Taylor Swift certainly doesn’t own blonde hair, she does possess the exact same Gucci minidress Watson wore in Venice. Though, for her part, Watson seems to have had the $3700 dress tailored to create more of an A-line silhouette than the straight, ’60s-inspired shape of the original design.

Last September, Swift wore the GG Canvas Dress on a New York City date night with Travis Kelce, pairing the Gucci logo dress with brown leather pockets with a black horsebit bag and matching sandals by the same Italian designer.

While it’s unclear if Emma Watson was directly influenced by Swift’s pap walk, the lime green dress she changed into later that day is giving “Last Great American Dynasty” in the best way possible.
