Hollister and Taco Bell Serve Up a Nostalgic Collaboration for Fashionable Foodies

Time to serve! Hollister and Taco Bell are teaming up for a Y2K-inspired drop for fashionistas and foodies alike. The clothing brand, worn by Emma Watson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Charli D’Amelio, joined forces with the chain, adored by Justin Bieber, Pete Davidson, Doja Cat, and Katy Perry for an exclusive collection that celebrates both.

The 11-piece lineup includes graphic tees splashed with bright Taco Bell menu motifs, fleece hoodies and sweatpants featuring retro-style logos, baggy denim with signature sauce details, cozy embroidered socks, and a hot sauce packet key chain.

“Both Hollister and Taco Bell have been major players in defining youth culture, so bringing our worlds together is a natural fit,” Carey Collins Krug, chief marketing officer at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., said in a press release.

“This collaboration with Hollister is another bold way we’re bringing the brand to life beyond the menu, giving fans something fresh and unexpected that lets them show their love for Taco Bell in a whole new way,” Luis Restrepo, chief marketing officer at Taco Bell, added.

The collection launches in stores and online on Monday, Dec. 1. Taco Bell Rewards Members will get first access on Tuesday, Nov. 25, along with the chance to win one of 500 limited-edition sauce packet sweatshirts during the in-app drop from 2 to 3 p.m.PST.

February 9, 2023: Bell says she talks to her children about “hard topics” like their father’s struggles with addiction. “I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he’s in recovery, and we talk about sex,” she tells Real Simple, per Page Six. “There are all these ‘hard topics’ that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.”

June 19, 2021: During an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, guest-hosted by Chelsea Handler, Bell opened up about how the pandemic effected her marriage. “At the beginning of the pandemic, we were at each other’s throats, and then all the doors locked in our house, like, we had to stay inside, and we were like, ‘Woof, we need to get a handle on the annoyances,’” she said, according to E!. “[Shepard] suggested we go to therapy separately, kinda, so that we could talk shit about each other. And we did, and it’s been great.”

“We should’ve gone with my idea.” Netflix has unveiled the trailer for a holiday crime comedy called Jingle Bell Heist, arriving to watch later in November in the holiday season. It’s about two thieves who become lovers who try to pull off the same heist who then run into problems with their heist and their relationship. Two down-on-their-luck hourly workers reluctantly form an alliance to rob one of London’s most illustrious stores on Christmas Eve. As they hatch their plans, the pair start to realize there are sparks between them — and they’re not from the twinkly holiday lights around jolly London town. Starring Olivia Holt as Sophia Martin, who moved to London to care fer her mom; and Connor Swindells as Nick O’Connor, a former security consultant turned phone tech. Along with Lucy Punch, Peter Serafinowicz, Poppy Drayton, Natasha Joseph, and Michael Salami. This looks like a made-for-TV riff on Bad Santa, but without the same crude humor that Billy Bob Thornton brought to that. Another Netflix watch & forget holiday special.

But Sophia’s not the only one with a plan.

Enter Nick, played by Barbie and Sex Education’s Connor Swindells — a dashing but hapless handyman also in dire need of an economic boost. When the two burglars collide during the middle of the heist, they’re compelled into a tenuous partnership. The reluctant union soon turns into something more as sparks fly amidst stolen jewels, security cameras, and festive mayhem.

Directed by a soon-to-be-announced director, Payback for Christmas combines the sentimentality of a traditional Christmas romance with the excitement of a caper heist. Featuring snappy dialogue, surprising turns, and loads of holiday pizzazz, the movie is a fresh twist on the holiday movie genre.

Payback for Christmas will become the holiday movie of the season to watch — where love could be the biggest score of all.

“You’re disgusting – these are my work clothes!” HBO Max has revealed the first official trailer for a kooky comedy series called The Chair Company, co-created by the comedy writers Tim Robinson & Zach Kanin (both worked for “SNL” for years). So this sees to be the spiritual sequel to the hilarious Friendship movie from earlier this year? The series stars Tim Robinson as a man who investigates a far-reaching conspiracy after an embarrassing workplace incident. The main cast includes Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Will Price, Joseph Tudisco, & Lou Diamond Phillips. With episodes directed by Andrew DeYoung, director of the film Friendship. So what did he discover? They don’t reveal in here – would could it be? This reminds me of a Charlie Kaufman comedy, it has very similar vibes to Being John Malkovich or even a bit of Boots Riley’s Sorry to Bother You. I hope it gets crazier & crazier as it goes on! Ready to watch and find out later this fall.

Kristen Bell Wore All Armani to the Emmys

Last night at the Emmys, Kristen Bell was nominated for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her role as Joanne in the romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This. Her character’s unlikely romance with Rabbi Noah, played by Adam Brody, captured the hearts of thousands. I’ll be the first to admit I rewatched their first kiss scene more times then I’d care to admit. Almost everyone else who I know who watched it did the same. But can you blame us? The show felt like the feel-good story everyone really needed right now. And it proved that the art of the rom-com isn’t just limited to the movies.

For the big night, Bell wore all Armani, down to the beauty. Her makeup artist, Courtney Hart, told me her inspiration for Bell’s look was drawn from the gown itself. She also admitted Bell’s already beautiful skin helped. “With Armani being so timeless, I wanted to focus on that signature luminous skin. The first thing that stood out to me was that black strapping detail on the dress, so I mirrored that with a very delicate black wing using the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil and a touch of black Eye Tint to add intensity and depth,” she said.

“I kept everything skin focused with the Luminous Silk Foundation for that iconic Armani glow, she added. “On the cheeks, I brought in a hint of those soft, pinkish tones you see in the dress’s shimmer using the Luminous Silk Cheek Tints and a light dusting of powder blush. The whole look is classic yet modern and lets Kristen shine in a way that feels effortless, current, and chic.”
