Dad Talks Viral Arrest & Shares Message From Rapper

by jummy84 August 30, 2025

Lil Nas X has been riding that ‘Old Town Road’ for years. From taking the world by storm to breaking records left and right. But now, his dad, Robert Stafford, is opening up about his son’s recent headline-making moment, making us wonder: after all the fame and the wild ride, can he keep riding, or is it time for a new path? Now, his father wants to clear the air and set the record straight.

Lil Nas X’s Dad Opens Up About His Son’s Arrest

Now, his father, Robert Stafford, is speaking out — and he’s opening up on his son’s “breakdown.” In an interview with The Times, Stafford painted a heartbreaking picture of a young star buckling under the weight of fame, personal trauma, and family pressure. “That’s not even him,” Stafford said after watching the viral footage.

“I went to visit him in jail and as soon as I walked through that door, I couldn’t do anything but cry,” Stafford revealed. “To see my baby boy on the other side of that glass. We shed tears with each other for a minute. And, I had to tell him that ‘what you’re going through is normal’.” He also told the rapper, “We all have breakdowns every now and then, but the difference is, yours get played out in the public eye.”

What Does His Father Really Think Is Going On?

Stafford also revealed the emotional toll of watching his son struggle to care for a mother battling addiction. In 2021, Hill’s mom was seen begging for food in Atlanta — a moment that went viral and clearly hit home. Despite Hill’s attempts to help, Stafford says she’s resisted rehab, and that pain still haunts him. “That can weigh heavily on your heart,” he said. And, while the world may have judged the arrest clip quickly, his father reminds us that being famous means even your darkest moments get turned into spectacle.

“For a 26-year-old to have to deal with what he’s dealing with — to be a breadwinner for a lot of people, the inability to change his mother’s situation and the pressure he puts on himself,” Stafford said of what Lil Nas X may be facing internally.

Why Exactly Is Lil Nas X Making Headlines?

Montero Hill, better known to the world as Lil Nas X, was once crowned the future of pop after the record-breaking success of ‘Old Town Road.’ But recently, the 26-year-old was arrested in Los Angeles after being found wandering the streets almost naked — just underwear and cowboy boots. And, he was reportedly in distress. Authorities say he injured a police officer during the encounter. Furthermore, he was hospitalized for a suspected overdose shortly after the incident.

Hill now faces three felony battery charges and one felony count of resisting an officer, with a possible sentence of up to five years if convicted. He’s currently out on a $75,000 bond and ordered to attend drug treatment.

“When I went to visit, he asked me to say, ‘Tell everybody I’m sorry they saw me like that.’ Even in that moment, he was apologizing to people for something he was going through,” his father said.

Border Patrol Arrest Two Firefighters During Washington Wildfire

by jummy84 August 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Now THIS is not what you expect in the middle of a wildfire. Two firefighters battling the massive Bear Gulch fire in Washington state were arrested by border patrol on Wednesday in a move that shocked their fellow crew members and left the public asking: what really went down?

Firefighters Battling Flames — And The Feds?!

According to on-the-ground reports, federal agents rolled up on two private contractor fire crews around 9:30 a.m. and demanded IDs. Additionally, the crews were among the 400 people deployed to contain Washington’s largest active wildfire. One firefighter said they were told not to film the incident, but photos still made it out. In one image, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection vehicle is clearly visible, with officers wearing “Police” vests arresting one firefighter and restraining another.

“You risked your life out here to save the community,” a firefighter said. “This is how they treat us.”

What Exactly Went Down?

Sources say the crews had been sent to cut wood near Lake Cushman when they were confronted. While waiting for a supervisor, the feds demanded everyone line up and show ID and things escalated quickly. One firefighter asked if a detained crew member’s family could say goodbye, but was immediately shut down. Reportedly, the arrested individuals weren’t even allowed a proper send-off before being taken away.

Furthermore, one firefighter revealed to The Seattle Times:

“I asked them if his (family) can say goodbye to him because they’re family, and they’re just ripping them away,” he shared. “And this is what he said: ‘You need to get the (expletive) out of here. I’m gonna make you leave.’”

It’s remarkably dumb for federal officers to interfere with or arrest men fighting an active wildfire—even if all of the firefighters are all illegal aliens (and they aren’t).

Is There An Explanation Behind These Arrests?

As of now, officials from Border Patrol, ICE, and Homeland Security have stayed real quiet, offering no explanation. Fire team leadership claims the arrests didn’t interfere with the operation, but let’s be honest—when agents show up mid-blaze and start pulling people off the line? That’s a whole new level of disruption. The fire is currently only 13% contained and has already burned nearly 9,000 acres. With five of the six hand crews being private contractors, it raises serious questions about how immigration policy is being enforced in disaster zones—and who’s really being targeted.

Nas pleaded not guilty in a court appearance Monday to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, the district attorney’s office said.

The charges were far more serious than initial reports had indicated, which suggested he was being investigated for a misdemeanour. If convicted, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Nas could face up to five years in state prison.

The department said he charged at the officers when confronted and was arrested. Police suspected a possible overdose and took him to a hospital, where he spent several hours before being taken to jail. He remained behind bars following his arrest.

The criminal complaint filed in court Monday includes few details about the incident, but says that for each of the three officers, he “did unlawfully use force and violence and inflict an injury” on a person he “reasonably should have known” was a peace officer “engaged in the performance of a duty.”

After spending three days in jail, Nas was released on US$75,000 bail, conditional on attending drug treatment.

Nas is set to return to court on Sept. 15 for his next pre-trial hearing.

Norman Reedus’s son, Mingus, faces charges after assault arrest – National

by jummy84 August 28, 2025

Mingus Reedus, the son of The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus and former supermodel Helena Christensen, made his first appearance in court on Tuesday after he was arrested and charged with assault on Aug. 23.

Police apprehended Reedus while responding to an assault in progress, according to the New York City Police Department.

Officers found a 33-year-old woman with “minor injuries” to her neck and leg, and she was transported to the hospital in “stable” condition, according to USA Today.

Reedus, 25, was initially charged with one count of assault and one count of criminal obstruction of breathing. He was later charged with three additional counts: assault – recklessly causing physical injury, aggravated harassment and harassment. He has pleaded not guilty and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

During his virtual court appearance, Reedus spoke with Judge Michelle Weber about the terms of extending a temporary order of protection that was issued at his arraignment.

Reedus is restricted from contacting the women he is accused of assaulting, according to the New York Daily News, and he is expected to appear in court again on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

The judge told Reedus he must leave immediately if he sees the woman at the apartment building where they had both lived.

His lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, was present during Tuesday’s court session and told People that Reedus’s “innocence will become clear” as “the facts emerge.”

“Despite what the prosecutor said in court — which is not evidence — they [the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office] chose to charge Mingus with misdemeanours or less. This speaks volumes, and much louder than the unsupported prosecutor’s in-court comments,” she said.

“Equally important, the judge released Mingus on his own recognizance, with neither bail nor supervision. That significant judicial decision amplifies the volume. Mingus is presumed innocent and has pled not guilty.”

This isn’t Reedus’s first time facing criminal allegations.

In 2022, Reedus pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after he was accused of punching a 24-year-old woman in the face, according to People. Reedus was initially charged with misdemeanour assault for the incident.

The woman, whose identity was not revealed, told police she had a verbal confrontation with him. She alleged that he punched her in the face and police reported that she was injured below the left eye.

Reedus spoke with the New York Daily News after the incident and alleged that the woman and her friends came after him and his friends while they were at the San Gennaro festival in New York City. He alleged that the women went after him and when he “threw his arm out” to protect himself, he accidentally hit the woman.

“It was instinct,” he said. “I was reacting to them swarming me and was afraid for the safety of my group.

“We didn’t think anything of it, but these five girls followed us for two blocks, throwing food at us and yelling. We told them to leave us alone, but they kept following, threatening to hurt my girlfriend and her friend,” he continued. “It was very apparent that these girls were under the influence and looking for a fight.”

He also alleged that the women “swarmed” him, with “one pulling my hair from the back, another throwing water in my face.”

His lawyer, Isabelle Kirshner, told the outlet that the charges were “baseless and will be met with a rigorous defence. He was the victim of this incident.”

Kirshner negotiated with the district attorney to downgrade Reedus’s charges to disorderly conduct, which led to a plea deal.

He was sentenced to a conditional discharge and was required to attend five private counselling sessions.

Lil Nas X’s Abandoned Boots From Viral Arrest Listed On eBay For $10,000

The cowboy boots worn by Lil Nas X during his headline-making night in Los Angeles have surfaced on eBay, where the starting bid is a bold $10,000.

According to the seller, the boots were recovered from the street after the rapper removed them and declared, “Girl, I don’t need them boots anymore.”

The individual had been filming Lil Nas X’s near-naked stroll, complete with a soundtrack of “Old Town Road,” when the artist reportedly rolled on the pavement and then vanished.

Shortly afterward, Lil Nas X was taken into police custody on suspicion of battery against an officer and is expected to remain behind bars until at least Monday. The seller believes collectors or fans of the “Panini” artist may find the boots worth the hefty price and says interest is already growing.

“I’ve already been fielding offers on Instagram,” he said. The auction is now live for eager bidders.
Would y’all buy the boots?
